Whether you live in Vancouver or are just visiting the city for a few days, you don’t have to let a little rain stop you from having a great time.   • There are 3 great places to explore in Vanier Park on a rainy day. You can start with a nostalgic visit to the Museum of Vancouver. Check out these old neon signs!
  • Then head next door to the Vancouver Space Centre and take in a planetarium show.
  • If it’s still raining after that, the Vancouver Maritime Museum is only steps away.
  • The Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park is a great place to get out of the rain
  • Hop on a bus to UBC and see some totem poles at the world renowned Museum of Anthropology
  • If you have kids they will love a visit to Telus Science World and so will you.
  • How about spending some time in the city morgue at the Vancouver Police Museum? It’s actually a very interesting place to visit.
  • You can always shop til you drop at one of Vancouver’s many shopping malls including Metrotown pictured here.
  • Or you can attend a steller performance at the spectacular Orpheum Theatre.
  • You can also try and escape the rain (but not the clouds) inside the Vancouver Art Gallery.
