Aberdeen Centre Mall
Located in Richmond's Golden Village Asian district, Aberdeen Centre was one of Canada's first Asian Malls

Aberdeen Centre is a large mall, located in Richmond. It offers a good balance between Asian and North American stores and has well over 100 diverse shops, services and restaurants distributed over 3 levels. There is also a large central atrium featuring a musical fountain.
The primary anchor store is Daiso a large Asian 'discount' store which stocks over 100,000 items. This was the chain's first store to open in North America. The mall even has a Mercedes Benz dealership inside.
If you get hungry while looking for some great bargains, checkout the food court on level 3 overlooking the atrium, or choose from six additional restaurants and cafes located throughout the mall.

If you are a visitor and interesting what is a modern Hong Kong style Chinese mall looks like, you should not miss this big mall.
I want to remind you about the parking rules and restrictions in the Golden Village area. Read the parking rules when you park your car.
There are a big food court locates in the third floor. You will have lots of choices of Asian food. The food court are big clean with high ceiling. You can sit there comfortably enjoying your food. The prices are still reasonable since you can get one main dish like fried rice, noodles, BBQ pork with rice for about $14.50 up with a free hot drink.
The mall is clean and well kept. The restrooms are enough for their customers even on weekend.
If the food court is not your cup of tea, there are many good restaurants too. Take your time to browse in the mall.
The parking is still a big problem if you go there on weekend. But you can take the sky train getting there, it takes only 5 minutes walk from the Aberdeen Station. You may also explore this area with many Asian malls and restaurants in the same time if you are using public transits.
The Lunar New Year decorations are still there. Sorry I missed the flowers market in the New Year time. It's a perfect place for enjoying the Lunar New Year.

Mall is great and offer plenty of selections. Food court has plenty of selection. However they need to rework the parking lot. You can't get in or find a parking stall. How are you suppose to spend money there.
