Get a unique perspective of the city only available from on the water. You might even spot some of the resident seals living in the area.
The operators are helpful and courteous and are always happy to tell you a bit about your surroundings during the ride.
In addition to regular 1-way and return fares you can also purchase a Hop-On Hop-Off Day Pass. A choice of sightseeing excursions is available for a modest fee.

False Creek Ferries Reviews

out of 5 There are a number of operators doing the same trip here, running up and down False Creek with stops along the way to Granville Island and back, and it doesn’t really matter which one you get.
All have pretty much the same service with small, cute boats, a cheap fare, and a quick trip down the harbour.
We hopped on a False Creek Ferry because it was the first boat to pull up at our wharf and it was a great experience.
The weather was perfect, and the journey is simple – jump aboard, pay on board, and hop off when you want.
There are daily or weekly fares if you plan on doing more trips, but one trip down from Yale Town to Granville island was all we needed.
For the perfect day in Vancouver start the day at OEB Breakfast Yale Town walk down to the wharf, jump on the next ferry to Granville Island and then stay for the day.

A very beautiful inlet in the heart of Vancouver, separating the Downtown and West End neighbourhoods from the rest of the city. It is one of the four main bodies of water bordering Vancouver, along with English Bay (of which it is an inland extension), Burrard Inlet, and the Fraser River. Granville Island is located within the inlet. You could take a boat or sea bus on the water or walk the path along the water to enjoy the great views.

Went for a 40-minute sightseeing cruise and it was fun to see the Osgemeos mural, the Yaletown skyline, BC Place Stadium, Rogers Arena, the Granville & Cambie Street bridges, the former 2010 Athletes Village, and Science World. The cruise was refreshing as well, especially if you were sitting by the open window.

Very good experience on these water taxis. The boat captains are all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the ride, it was very stable and didn't rock very much in the water. No motion sickness or anything, very smooth ride.
