Lighthouse Park

The park is rich and unique and an example of old growth coastal forests in the Lower Mainland. The lighthouse is a national historic site. The trails are all relatively short and fairly easy to walk through. I recommend having a good pair of shoes. It’s also a great area to do some bird watching and get a glimpse of some eagles. The parking lot fills up quick. The park opens from 7:00am to 10:00 pm. There is also washrooms in three separate areas. Dogs need to be on a leash.

Amazing place! Huge trees. You walk downhill on a smooth gravel path to the lighthouse. It’s probably nearly a thousand meters each way? You can go on other paths once down there for different views, if you scramble over rocks a little bit. It’s fairly easy be careful, there are a few steps made in the rocks. Take your time going back uphill and you’ll be fine. Expensive parking and you need a cellphone to pay.

This is one of the few parks where I recommend walking all the trails! Beautiful views all throughout and easy. Of course, the lighthouse is what most people come here for, but the view you'll see throughout the whole park is the topping!

Beautiful place 20min from Downtown in West Vancouver. Paid parking 5$ per hour and a lot of trails inside of the park. Good for weekend visit but can be busy during the summer time.Viewing from a couple of rocks and from east beach are incredible. Coming every year and all recommendations for this park👌🏼

Super fun & not so difficult hike!!! We got to see sea lions and they were super cute, definitely must go in spring or summer.
