The dinner we had at Grill Royal was over expectations. Every dish we tried was amazing. Portions are big and tasty. They have a large wine selection. Would recommend the roasted red prawns, lettuce salad and canadian lobster. The service was good and staff were friendly.

I had a wonderful time at Grill Royal. The host was extremely accommodating although I didn’t have a reservation and gave me a table for 1 after initially refusing
This is a beautiful restaurant situated overlooking the river and the needle (Alex Tower?) and is very well done on the inside. Staff was super attentive
The food was immaculate and was coursed out. Some touches not exactly my taste but I absolutely enjoyed the croquets and steak. White asparagus with hollandaise a nice addition I missed.
Unfortunately I was seated next to what I can gather was the only English speaking couple in the restaurant who weren’t a couple but a man negotiating a nice night out with his Russian date. I found this utterly repulsive as I understood every word and had to listen to her play interested and talk about full in-devours she currently can’t afford (a global animal rescue for the puppies!).
I would return but hope to enjoy my meal in either silence or light English, German other indistinguishable banter.

Having been to Grill Royal for the last 10 years, I can confidently say it consistently offers the best steaks in Berlin. It remains my go-to dinner spot with impeccable service and great wine suggestions. The steaks, lobster salad, and fries are always delightful. If you're a steak enthusiast, this place is a must-visit! ❤️

I celebrated my birthday here and I had a fun time. Loved how the stewards stayed to chat about food and made jokes that made me laugh and were also willing to take my pictures.

This restaurant is one of the best Arabic restaurants in Berlin, if not the best.
Its location is quite central, with a cosy atmosphere and beautiful ambiance.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and their service is professional.
The food is something else. If I said it's better than the restaurants in the Arab countries, I wouldn't be exaggerating. The meat, the salads, the appetizers – everything is exceptional. However, the wine somehow fell below expectations.
As a fine dining restaurant, its prices are quite reasonable compared to what you get, from food to service to the whole experience.
Hygiene is good, but I wouldn't say perfect.
This restaurant deserves a five-star rating. I will definitely return soon and recommend it to others.

Amazing arabic restaurant in the heart of Berlin, the food is amazing as well as the staff.
I ordered the skewer with lamb meat and it was extraordinary. Juicy and tender meat served with a delicious garlic paste, soft and well cooked rice as well as the onions as garnish.
Each dish can serve a person very well and you might want to consider splitting with someone else if you order a starter as portions are very large.
I loved the experience and will try to come back when I'm in town.

The rating is accurate for the full experience, but the food itself far exceeds 4.6. SO good. The flavours are amazing. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything. Would recommend! We got the mixed platter, fattoush, and mushroom hummus. More than enough food for two.

Probably the best Arabic restaurant in Berlin. Qabsa kharoof is the best dish I have tried. A little bit expensive but totally worth it. The place is so very crowded. And they don't entertain walk-ins since it is almost always fully booked. So book your table as much in advance as possible.

I loved the vibe, the lovely nostalgic Egyptian played songs at the background :).
Very friendly service, the food is excellent!
Fresh bread is baked at front of us. The built-in Google reservation worked super easy for us and was very fast. The only problem that I found was the delay in the service, we have waited for about 35 Minutes before we the food came.
I would love to comeback!

Being away from home and missing Indian food I decided to eat here.
During my visit the restaurant was clearly popular, filled with tourists and group bookings. There were also a few couples with the odd solo diner like myself.
I was promptly shown my table and given a menu. There was no shortage of staff which was great as I didn't need to flag anyone for attention. I was served with a smile and my order was taken within a fair amount of time.
Starters arrived pretty quickly with a reasonable time before the mains were served.
The ambience had a hustle and bustle feel though not distracting.
I was disappointed with a lack of a certain few options in the menu, namely no onion bhaji, paneer tikka masala or salted lassi (only mango). Being a vegetarian I expected there to be a few more options to choose from.
Each main is served with a generous portion of rice and salad. Paneer is homemade which is pretty good. The naan unfortunately was very stodgy and I did not finish it thinking it may have not fully cooked through.
All in all a medicore Indian restaurant.

Very good Indian food.
If you don't have huge hunger I recommend ordering a dish to share with someone because the portions of for example curry chicken type dishes are very large.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was served very quickly.

Amazing place with incredibly delicious food and fancy cocktails. I only ordered non spicy food, but it was absolutely delicious. The cocktail "Bombay night" was just out of this world!
I ordered curry, samosas and cheese and all of them were amazing. Also portions are huge as salad and rice go complimentary to curry!
I can highly recommend this place.
The only side is that it is really crowded in the evening. But even though it was crowded, servers found a place for my Christmas dinner with my coworkers, which was cozy and a bit further away from all the people. Thank you!

Best 水煮鱼 in all of Berlin! Great prices and lovely staff. One really cute waitress who speaks good english and the bao dim sun mix is lovely. I was suprised to find this resteraunt when I arrived but it tasted so good I spent almost every night there for dinner in Berlin.

Great hotpot place with great prices. The hotpot is 22€ per person, and you can just keep ordering any ingredients until you are full. The fish is delicious and so are all the sauces. I can also recommend the dim sum. The food feels very authentic.
You should reserve before, this place is popular!

We came here for the all you can eat hotpot. For around 20 euros per person, the price-performance was good.
The soup was okay. The sauce helped bring in the flavors. There weren’t that many meat and vegetable selections on the menu and the quality was just okay. You get what you pay for but it’s by no means bad.
The service was nice and efficient. Reservation is recommended.

Food is excellent, service was very fast, i ate for 2 hours and the food just continued to come, i recommend the hot pot for 22€ where you can eat how much you like. Definitely would go here again

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

This is by far the best falafel I had in Berlin even though I often eat this in Berlin. But this place was unexpectedly so good, clean , super fresh, no smell of oil and the restaurant is very cosy and well presented. Quite a surprise to find such a place in Mitte!! Bravo!

I first went here in 2008 and it’s STILL making incredible falafel. Freshly made, green inside (as I think they should be) and delicious!

At their suggestion, we ate falafel sandwich with grilled eggplant, it was very delicious, we also asked for spicy sauce and they gave us a very delicious homemade sauce.
The taste of the food and atmosphere was very good, the staff were very cool and friendly.

I experienced a tasting menu that offered an amazing journey of flavors. Particularly noteworthy was the dish featuring trout, perhaps the best I've ever had in my entire life. The service was good, though the ambiance could be a bit quieter. Overall, the setting is beautiful, providing a memorable culinary experience.

This was something else. We had one of the best dinners we have ever had. From the beginning to the end we truly had a 3 (michelin) star experience. Service was out of this world and of course the food aswell. The expertise with our someliere was superb. Menu was created with such a detail that will leave you speechles. Wine pairing was on point. Even though we all have different taste and i did not like all of the wines egually i could still find the connections between the food and wine. Truely a one of a kind experience and huge recommendations for Rutz.

Visited Rutz for my birthday and went with the full experience. Service was just perfect. The evening took 4 hours and all dishes were unique. This place clearly deserves all it's stars with the amazing techniques they use and also the green star for sustainabilty purposes. Sending many thanks to chef Marco Müller and the team.

Judging from the price it's the most expensive dining experience I had in Berlin (1k+ for 2 without wine pairing). After visiting many starred restaurants around the world, I had expected more surprising than what I get. For us the food quantity was another issue, with half of the bread undone (we personally don't eat bread usually), we finished with feeling only 70% full and had another round of late night snack after we got home. I had also expected a high roof dining space, but we were arranged at the second floor with all other guests and the space is rather small. The service was nice and friendly.

Overall, it is good experience to enjoy 3 stars restaurant. The manager was really sweet guy. They tried to meet all our requests, especially that I wanted to finish dinner fast.(Finished in 2.5 hours to 3 hours, which was nice!)
Food was not that surprising though. (Especially main dishes….) The best was oyster dish, I suppose.
Can pay by Amex/Applepay

What an absolutely fabulous dining experience!
Here you get what you paid for. We had 2 friendly and attentive waiters and the food was excellent. I ordered the half kilo prawns, expecting to make a mess peeling them. But no! The prawns were all deveined with the shells on and cooked in a delicious gravy - that’s the amount of attention you get on the food.
Highly recommended for a special dining experience.

We were lucky that the backyard was open and not crowded, it was a nice atmosphere for dinner. The ribs were tasty, the rest of our dishes were average. It is a bit overpriced for what it was. The waitress we had was a bit arrogant in terms of how to put the cutlery or what things mean on the menu. Maybe she had a bad day but def. not the greatest service. I booked some team dinners here before and didnt have complaints. The interior is beautiful and arrangement works well for groups if you book in advance. Privately I wouldnt go here again.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food and cocktails were excellent. We especially enjoyed the "Quest for 2" sharing steak which was perfectly cooked.

Truly a superb balance between food, ambience and service. The convivial leather 'banquette' seating and the feeling of cool space sets the tone. Reading the menu, you realize you made the right choice. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and present when needed. The first course selections were varied and all presented beautifully. Oysters were a nice addition as well, and very fresh. The "200", their 200g steak offering, was very good, and the correct size after our arrray of starters. A solid listing of cocktails, traditional and otherwise, and a very decent wine list meant all of the food was well paired. Last but not least, the 'Death by Chocolate' dessert was outstanding, and offered several flavours of chocolate offerings on one plate. A great evening, and worth the visit.

Although all the food looked amazing.. Didn’t taste the Indian food :) tikka masala with no taste, no spice.. the garlic naan bread was very thin and way too sweet - did not enjoy it. Apart that, the roasted potatoes were really nice and good steamed rice, just wish was a bit more flavour in the plate. Although, the selection of drinks and cocktails was amazing and the location + the staff and service was very good

Had chicken biryani, fruit juice, and gulab jamuns.
The biryani can be improved, although it was better than some other places, I've had much tastier biryani in Berlin elsewhere. The juices and salad were good but I'd suggest they offer gulab jamun in a more traditional way, like with the sugar syrup or just gulab jamun, the ice cream and the fruits were not tasting that good with gulab jamuns. Also the gulab jamuns can be improved in terms of their softness, they were not soft how traditional gulab jamuns in Pakistan and India are.
Otherwise, the ambience and service of the restaurant was quite good.

Arrived here looking for somewhere to watch a world cup game and despite me being the only person to start with they were more than happy to accommodate. More people arrived later. They recommended a nice lager to try and my waiter spoke perfect english. Had chicken korma with rice and plain naan and it was delicious!

Big Indian Restaurant in Berlin.
Reservation recommended it does get full pretty soon during dinner time.
Quick and friendly service.
Though different chefs have different ways to cook a particular dish, the main dish we ordered were not even close to the Authentic Indian Flavored dishes.
Dessert was good, a nice combination of Ice Cream, gulab jamun and fruits.

I was very satisfied with the service and completely dissatisfied with the cuisine. Let's go in order: I showed up without a reservation on a Saturday around 6.45pm. I was greeted with big smiles and immediately placed at the raised table next to the entrance. Since at least three small tables remained empty during dinner, I would have preferred to be placed there. But the service was truly so excellent and attentive that it made me forget where I was sitting. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by the cuisine. My rinderrouladen looked like the pre-cooked one from the supermarket, but much saltier and stringier. Served with a salad that looked like it had just been taken out of the bag and some anonymous potatoes. I don't like leaving food on my plate, but once the meat was cold, it became the insole of my shoe. I will return and try another course. Maybe I was just unlucky, but from what I see it looks like the cuisine of a classic Berlin tourist restaurant.

It was lunchtime but super quiet, 3-4 locals in there.
I had schnitzel, hubby had goulash.
Goulash was wonderful, warming, comforting and very tasty.
My schnitzel was served with not so warm potato salad, was OK but have had better.
Price was very reasonable

My first time in Berlin so wanted something authentic, the reviews looked good so I went in beautiful place lovely artwork staff were really friendly and helpful with my dodgy German, I had potato and meat to start amazing then the liver and mash was great and a reasonable price, will definitely be going back.

Perfect. I would say this restaurant serves the best German cuisine that I have ever had. We ordered dishes of sausages, beef, and beef balls, and they were all well cooked. There were two of us, and we were already full when we finished the second dish, because the dishes are just so large. There is also a quiet and clean washroom indoors. I really like the food and the people at this restaurant.

This place is excellent. One of the best beef brisket Pho around. Better than most in New Zealand. The service was exceptional, we didn't have to wait long for the Pho to come out and the drinks were so good. Very cozy atmosphere. If you like Vietnamese food then this place is a must.

A must visit for a value for money lunch here. The food is amazing the service is attentive and the atmosphere cozy and vibrant. We got the noodle soup with was really really tasty and filling also the noodle salad with chicken which was a good comfort food. The value was great although from outside it seemed not so inviting I totally recommend it!

At the PHO Noodle Bar in Berlin Mitte, the Vietnamese dining experience is super nice! The service is quick, the drinks are delightful, and the cozy atmosphere adds to the enjoyment.
The location, right by Oranienburger Tor, is convenient, and the food quality is top-notch. From delicious curries to spring rolls burst with flavor and crunch, while the salt-dusted edamame complements the meal perfectly, all dishes are top notch. The seasonal salmon is a delicacy, and without being overly spicy. Prices are fair, catering well to vegetarian and vegan diets.

10 stars for dishes.
Excellent taste of fried rice with chicken (sun-fried ie), the portion is so big, so I took it for supper too.
Also Tiger is awesome beer, you should try.
Ps: if you would like edamame appetizer, only beans are worth to eat😅
