5 Star Rating Nice hotel. The food at the hotel restaurant and the drinks are really good. Joey and the rest of the team at the restaurant are all very nice and friendly. Centrally located near all of the great tourist sites and downtown shopping. Everything was in walking distance. If you rented a car they have a garage under the hotel. Housekeeping is excellent particularly Dora. I will be coming here again.

5 Star Rating Absolutely exceptional! This hotel offers a truly unique experience with its well-appointed rooms that most of them feature Jacuzzis, fire pits, and fully-equipped kitchens, providing ample space for comfort. The reception staff, particularly Jason, stand out with their exceptional hospitality, always greeting guests with a warm smile and a professional demeanor, going above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. 5 Star Rating This is a nice hotel. Not super fancy, but nice. Clean, close to Old Montreal, and super staff. Eric at the front desk went out of his way to ensure that we had a good stay and to resolve any minor issues we had. The included breakfast is wonderful - a full omelette bar, or eggs whichever way you want, plus the regular buffet. The included reception from 5-7pm was also great. Good selection of drinks, veggies and dip, chips and salsa. Rooms were spacious and clean with everthing you need and more. Lots of space to relax. We will definitely return. Thank you.

5 Star Rating It was a great experience staying at this hotel because of following reasons: 1. Location: As it is centrally located , it is easy to walk within the city 2. Staff: The staff is very courteous and helpful. Check in and checkout formalities were very quick. Special mention about the staff person who helped us with the luggage at checkout. 3. Breakfast: Although the options were limited, quality of food was good 4. Free drinks coupons: 2 Free drinks coupons per day of stay were given, which is a good option 5. Rooms - Although the room was a little dated, it was very clean and tidy. 6. Waiting area: Hotel allows you to park your car in front of hotel for 15 minutes, which is decent amount of time to complete the formalities. I just felt that the parking at 35$ was a little expensive, so you can find cheaper parking lots nearby. Overall, the hotel was worth the price. I recommend

2 Star Rating Some aspects have been terrific, some aspects have been completely unacceptable. I had a hip replacement surgery 2 days ago from out of province and this hotel offers a special rate for patients of my surgical centre. As a result I am unable to leave my room. I just spent 1.5 hours on the phone trying to reach room service and left several messages. It's not a lot to expect a return call from a hotels restaurant when you are staying at this specifically because they cater to post surgery customers. If you have surgery at westmount and consider staying here you might want to pack a lunch. On the other side the young man at reception was very sorry (it wasn't his fault what so ever) and apologetic. Update: since this occurred the staff have gone above and beyond, I think I just got unlucky that one night.

4 Star Rating We ordered beef noodles #196/197 if I'm not mistaken. The food came tongue-burning hot and surprisingly without chopsticks so we asked for two pairs of them The food was yummy and in a generous portion also side along with green tea The service was ok. If you have Asian friends, better to go together as the menu can make you overwhelmed easily.

5 Star Rating I loved that Chinese restaurant, very welcoming staff. Free tea with you meal, very good way to clean your palate between each bite. The dumpling in spicy peanut sauce wasn’t spicy at all but damn it was good !! The general Tao was the best I’ve eaten in a while. Very sweet sauce, crunchy chicken filet and generous portion for the price. I highly recommend the General Tao! I also tried the pork salt & spices and it was really good portion for the price and oh damn it was yummy 🤤 The chow mein Beijing had noodles too crunchy for my taste but it was okay taste wise.

3 Star Rating Some of the food was tasteless (wonton soup, I’ve added soya sauce just to enjoy it a bit), the meat chewy (sesame plate), and the kitchen had no taste to bad smell. (Kitchen with vegetables, sorry forgot the name!) Both our waiters don’t even smile. The atmosphere was not bad

2 Star Rating We've ordered Diner #3. Most of the food was bland. The Beef sesame was soggy. We asked to replace the chicken in the combo for another chicken, and we were told there was no problem, yet when the bill came, we were charged an extra 3$. The only thing we enjoyed was the fried rice beside, like mentioned previously, everything else was very bland, I would say it was disgusting but I will not be coming back. Also the prices were high for the quantity of food we've received, which disappointing. Left with a 92$ bill for diner #3 and 2 beers. Overall, there is better options in chinatown for better food and prices. I would not recommend this place.

4 Star Rating I've been frequenting the Noodle Factory off and on for years, drawn repeatedly by its straightforward charm and delectable offerings. Nestled in the heart of Montreal's vibrant Chinatown, this no-frills eatery has carved out a niche for itself, serving up tasty dishes at an unbeatable value. Upon entering, one can't help but notice the restaurant's modest dimensions. The space is somewhat cramped, a testament to its bustling activity rather than any lack of foresight. While not expansive, the setting is adequate, fostering a cozy atmosphere that puts the focus squarely on the food. The staff, adhering to the establishment's no-frills approach, provide the basic level of service necessary to facilitate your meal. This minimalist approach to service underscores the restaurant's commitment to offering a low-cost dining experience, prioritizing the quality and affordability of the food above all else. However, it's important to note that the Noodle Factory may not be accessible to everyone, as it currently does not provide wheelchair access due to the absence of a ramp. This limitation is a significant oversight that the establishment should address to welcome a broader clientele. The menu at Noodle Factory stands out for its generous portion sizes that leave customers satisfied. The dishes, while simple, are prepared in a way that brings out a richness of flavor, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The cost of dining here is surprisingly low, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Be mindful that the restaurant operates on a cash-only basis. While this may require a bit of planning ahead, the dining rewards are well worth this minor inconvenience. In sum, the Noodle Factory stands as a testament to the simple pleasure of good food served without pretense. While it may benefit from a few logistical improvements, its commitment to providing a cost-effective dining experience, alongside the satisfying culinary offerings, ensures its place as a beloved fixture in Montreal's dining scene. Whether you're a long-time patron or a curious newcomer, the Noodle Factory promises a dining experience that's both satisfying and memorable, all while keeping your wallet happy.

4 Star Rating I would give this place 4.5 stars if it were an option. This is a great “hole in the wall” restaurant with fast service and very attentive wait staff. We were served what I’m assuming was cold tap water out of a bottle right away, which was nice to have as soon as we sat down. There was an option to buy canned sodas, but it is not on the menu. We ordered wonton soup, noodles with pork and fried pork dumplings. ALL of the food was EXCELLENT!! Fresh and delicious with just the right seasonings. Loved the chili oil that was brought to the table. Downside, if you don’t know ahead of time is that this is CASH ONLY!! They do take US dollars. Also, this is not a place to go if you want to sit for hours and have cocktails with your friends/family. It is small and they move fast. I never felt rushed but it’s just not a place that you’re going to be hanging out for a long time. We didn’t have to wait for a table but I can see how a line could easily back up.

5 Star Rating One of the best places to visit for authentic noodles and dumplings!! We are vegans/ vegetarians in our family and we were super conscious before visiting the store and we called them up and discussed our options in the restaurant! Must say they were very patient enough to explain us despite being a busy weekend at the restaurant! When it comes to the food very beautifully served and delicious dumplings to die for! One of the noodles we liked and wanted to relish… they were so honest to tell us that the noodles would/may have eggs and gave us the same recipe with rice noodles! Absolutely delicious noodles filled with veggies! Amazing experience and will always visit when in Montreal

4 Star Rating First, let’s try to get a few points across: 1) Yes, it is cash-only. So, either come prepared or skip it. 2) Yes, it is a small restaurant. Therefore, lineups build up easily during peak times. 3) Yes, the service is quick. As a result, lineups may advance fast but, you may feel rushed as well. 4) Yes, the food is good. However, don’t expect it to blow your mind. Now, depending on how you ponder those points and on how long you waited in line, you will decide if it was worth it or not. Last, this is not the kind of restaurant to sit down for an hour. It is more for a pit stop or takeout, unless you go when it’s not busy.

4 Star Rating The atmosphere is super enjoyable and the experience is definitely nice. The service was really good and their staff is friendly. This place is definitely great for healthier food options, but it's nothing extraordinary. Although, I really liked the goma sauce and the spicy broth. I took the chicken breast combo but I think there were better options. It was also pretty pricey, but I think it was worth it, especially if you're going with friends, it's a super fun experience.

4 Star Rating I came here for a weekday dinner and the restaurant was almost full when I arrived. I got lucky that I had a reservation. It’s located perfectly within walking distance from both Notre Dame and old port. I really liked the vibe; many groups were enjoying their food, drinks or dessert. The staff are helpful and friendly. I originally came in for an appetizer, but the dessert menu was so attractive that I decided to go with appetizer and dessert. I got lucky that they weren’t out of escargot. So I tried “Escargot in Parsley Sauce” after my complementary bread and butter. I really like the combination of parsley sauce with olives and puff pastry. I also enjoyed “Rocher Praliné” for my dessert. I’m happy I hadn’t had my main course as it is very rich.

They inform you as you walk in that they are cash only and they have an atm on premise for you. We tried the 2 dim sum options which were really delicious. I got the chefs platter fried and we definitely got 2 options but I didn’t taste a third one. It may have been cos they were all fried. I found the batter thick on these. The next time we came back we got all boiled options and those were delicious. I loved the shrimp and pork selections. They have about 15 tables and are pretty generous with the chili oil. You have to go to the back to pay when you’re done. I would definitely go back

Everything is very very salty, oily, and sweet (more so than other Chinese food) Our chowmein was clearly sitting in an oven to keep hot because the edges were burned and black. 5 Star Rating We went there on a Friday night, around 7h00 pm. I was expecting a big crowd, but it was pleasantly calm to see we didn't have to wait long (less 5 min) to get a table. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. Compared to other asian restaurants in Chinatown, the staff speaks excellent french/english. Decor has pretty cool vibe, mostly inspired from Bruce Lee and other movies/videogames from the 90's. Restaurant was ok in term of cleanliness, I have seen much worse in Chinatown. The menu is not extensive, but has enough items to please most crowds. We were a party of two, and we decide to take a speciality combo : Fried rice + combination of 3 meats (roasted pork, char Siu, and duck). The rice was very tasty, had that charred flavor that only a wok under gas grill can accomplish. A bit greasy (watch out diet followers), but that is to be expected. - Char Siu : very good, the meat was juicy and delicious. Maybe I would have liked a bit more browned/cooked on the exterior, but overall very good. - Roasted pork : the crispy skin is umamic! Meat was juicy, not dried at all. Maybe the best meat of all 3. Wished we had a bit more of this one! - Duck : less crispy skin than the roasted pork but still very good. The meat was slightly dried, but the taste was there. There was also green onion sauce with ginger, and pickled vegetables on the side, which were appreciated. It costs us 20$ + tip, and we have enough food for 2. Probably one of the best value for money in Chinatown. The only downside (and major upside) is that it's located inside a building. Not on Viger street. So you gotta know where to go. Takeout is also possible. Overall, the food was better than most of Chinatown restaurants where I've been, and it has an exceptional value for money. Will certainly go back. Perfect to bring a date, while showing your foodie personality!

5 Star Rating Handmade noodles are available with customizable size options, boasting a chewy texture and delectable broth. While we opted for the spicy variant, rest assured, the spice level is not excessively hot like many other Asian restaurants. Don't let the chili oil atop the dish intimidate you. Generous portion and reasonable price. The place tends to be busy, be patient with any queues. Card payments are accepted. Waiters and waitresses are exceptionally helpful and attentive.

5 Star Rating This place is busy at dinner time. Get there early to line up. The noodle are freshly pulled right at the front of the store. You can pick the the thickness of the noodle from 1-7. And you can pick how spicy 🥵. I recommended less spicy for people that hasn't had very spicy food. Don't want to ruin the whole bowl of noodles. Hot sauce at the table if u want to add more. The soup is pretty authentic. Maybe a bit less flavorful than the one I had before but still very good. We also ordered the tea eggs, which was also good. Warning!! The large bowl is huge. Unless you are super hungry or sharing. Go medium.

5 Star Rating We saw the line down the block to get in and knew immediately we had to try this place. 100% worth the wait and hype. I got the veggie noodle soup with the wide noodles and my husband got the traditional beef noodle soup. We also got the edamame and cucumber salads. Yum yum yum. The broths were so flavorful and the handmade noodles were excellent. The salads which were a hearty portion, were a perfect compliment, with the edamame one being my favorite. Def get in line to come to this gem of a place. Super authentic and a must when in Montreal

5 Star Rating Probably the best noodles place in Montreal and they do that while also keeping their prices extremely fair! The noodles are freshly made on the spot. If you go during peak time there is going to be quite a line to get in, restaurant is not big and is a hot spot. Go at the opening time and you will be fine. My favourite was the DanDan noodles, give it a try!

4 Star Rating Freshly made hand pulled noodles is definitely the best part of this restaurant! The Zhajiang noodles and the beef starter were my favourites. The Dan Dan noodles and beef noodle soup was tasty too. Ambience can be better, always feels claustrophobic dining here, hoping they move to a bigger dining hall which can accommodate more people.
