Wonderful outside deck. Menu is varied offering range of dishes. Cuisine is excellent. Staff very friendly. Really nothing negative. Keep up the great service. We’ll be back.

The food is not bad given the price but the overall quality of the restaurant is very poor.
The place is more or less in disrepair. The outdoor seating in back looks like it hasn’t had a second of up keep in years. Broken planks, ripped cloth sun covers, exposed wires, Tape holding trash cans closed in the bathroom, plastic deco placed on the first floor which ends up rolling into the stairs....
It’s too bad because two or so years ago they had a wonderful concept and everything was well tied together. Today there is a clear lack of investment and basic maintenance.

I think we didn't order well but the food was okay. I would try it again based on other diners' plates that we saw. French onion soup was pretty good, a bit salty. We ordered fondue which comes w 300g of beef each that you cook in a broth and oil bath on a small fire at your table. Piping hot!! Not kid-safe but quite entertaining. This came w 5 sauce accompaniments and some fresh french fries. The raw beef should have been seasoned w salt and pepper. This made a huge difference once I did this. Some pickle, relish or suggested dish should have been offered in my opinion.

This is a nice little restaurant to do in Vincennes. Get a table by the windows, so you can enjoy the views on the Chateau.
They have good stuff ! Quality meat, and fish. It’s generous enough, won’t leave you hungry. It’s a good time, simple enough and tasty.

Huge portions of tasty food, friendly service (even if you don’t speak French), plus views of Chateau Vincennes… what more could you ask for!
Just 30 seconds from Chateau de Vincennes Metro station, the only negative is that it is quite cramped in the street-side seating area, but that’s easily still the best place to sit if you enjoy watching the world go by. A great place to dine for sure!

the best restaurant in Paris and we have been to many over the years. A hidden gem, excellent French food , good service and a nice atmosphere! Highly recommend! Been going since 2011.

The best restaurant in Paris - both food and price! Well worth a trip and perfect to combine with a visit to Vincennes castle and a nearby park and forest trails. Amazing
Menu, true local ambience, great service - lots of little extras included. You would not be disappointed no matter what food choices you make. The price fix menu has great multiple choices too. We went to this restaurant 11 years ago and it was our favorite in entire Paris (spent 3 weeks and went everywhere). We returned yesterday - so happy to find it as good as back then!

This is a fantastic burger chain. Far better than the top 2 burger chains from across the pond. I had the Big Fernand burger. It was cooked how I asked for it to be, one really tasty burger, lovely cheese, bacon and fried onions. One of the best I have had anywhere. The fries were crispy and very tasty. My partner ha the veal burger, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will go back definitely. The staff had a good sense of humour, which to some may come across as ignorance, but not to us.
Martin Ewen - 4 years ago
The hamburger here was good. The salad a bit basic, probably should have gone with the fries but was trying to be healthy. It’s more or less what you’d expect from a hamburger place that is a little better McDonald’s.

What a wonderful restaurant across from the chateau. We were greeted by a host when we entered who explained the menu and helped us order. The hamburgers and sides were excellent. It is a great place to go for friendly service, great food and a good value too.

Stopped cause I liked the dish ( the linguini seemed a dream and I was really hungry) that was being served to a lady on the terrace but really loved the tuna steak with the vegetables and the Pay D'OC rose. The other dish was also good but more the risotto than the shrimps. Overall I was glad I stopped and had a warm meal after a whole day walking through Paris.

The poke bowl was okay. The fish and chips was okay, but the piece had small bones in it, which is not the case usually. The food was a bit bland. Also, the waitress asked us a few times if we were done, but there was no need for it. It's not like the place was full, and we were still eating.

I am a nonspeaking french person from the USA. I can point to a picture and the food came. It was good. Bathroom downstairs. Hard for an old woman. Great people. They do not speak English. But go and eat anyway. EDITED BECAUSE OF OWNER: I did not mean for anyone to look badly at a restaurant because at the time no one spoke English. That was just to say to Americans like myself don't miss out on good food because we do not speak English. Yes, they will help you with yes and nos if they understand you. But don't expect them to have a conversation in English when we Americans are in their country and we do not speak the language. Some people get scared or worried about trying to interact with people and if you do that in this case you will miss out on having a nice meal. The only thing "I" did not like was the bathroom. I do have issues with the steps. Oh, and the water bottle that is made of glass and the water do you see how clear that is?? I drank all of it. Food good, customer bad for not speaking the language in the country she is visiting.

Really good restaurant. The tartare was well prepared and really tasty so were the fries.
Probably the best profiteroles I've ever had. It's a monster though so leave some space!

Great service and good couscous.
Foods are always good.
Their homemade special spicy Chili paste was so good with couscous.
And at the end of the meal, the mint tea is awesome!
The owner sometimes brings us after meal liquor or sweets for complimentary.
He is always nice and friendly!

We were warmly greeted when we arrived and quickly seated. We were offered a tapas plate with a nice selection of little starters. We all had the sangria, which was delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Not the drink I would normally choose but highly recommended!
We had a mixture of the couscous plate and the tagine and were all very pleased with the quantity and quality of the food. It does feel like a home-cooked meal.
We were again pleasantly surprised with the many desserts that were presented to us complements of the restaurant, including various pastries, dates, Turkish delight and clementines. Finally, a liqueur made from figs topped off a very pleasant meal. We'll be back!

Matsuri is one of my favourite restaurants in Paris. The quality of the food and the variety is the main characteristic of Matsuri.
I recommend you to try the flambee nigiris and the California Rolls.
Víctor Martín de Soto Moreno - 5 months ago
The overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable and the staff were really welcoming and nice. However, we found that the selection of plates available on the running ribbon was quite limited. Despite waiting for the right plate to come by, we were often disappointed and ended up ordering directly from our waitress. Additionally, compared to the fixed menu, we spent more money due to the smaller portion sizes of the plates which,on average, cost between 4.5 to 6.5 euros each. We found ourselves spending more than normal sushi restaurants at the same quality level.
With 20% coupon discount, we paid 25 each and got out a bit hungry 😂😂

It's just Ok and for the price.... It becomes very expensive if you don't keep count of what your eating, the quality it's all right, the service it's good, our waitress spoke English :)

We were stranded in vincennes. The train (RER) had problems. So we decided to walk around and find a place to eat. Stumbled upon this place. The owner was very nice and helpful. Price is pretty good for the quality you get.

Stumbled upon To Xin as the restaurant we intended to go to was shut. Small and friendly place that was very busy, always a good sign, with lots of locals popping in for take away. There were four of us that had a meal (main and rice/noodles) and a drink and came to €54! The food was fantastic and good portion sizes. Would recommend

A very nice discovery, a clean restaurant, the sushi was super good (and the rice was less sweet/vinegared than elsewhere, which is nice). Very kind, friendly and efficient staff.
Reasonable prices, and there is something for all tastes between Asian and Japanese cuisine.
We will happily return there as soon as we come to the area!

Original.....nice....small ..you feel like
to be in a family...to book in advance during canonical days and hours.
Crêpes “la Compete” is recommended (€8,50); it’s made with ham, cheese and eggs..very tasteful....
For Kids “Le Simple” Crepe with Nutella is good as well (€6-7)...you risk to eat more than one...
For vegetable, Salad is available in Simple or mixed way (€3,70); the taste is very very good..we suggest you to try it.
Service is nice, friendly and smiling....also fast i delivering food and drinks.
Environment is very comfortable and it makes you feel like at home...and this is a very important characteristic of this restaurant...and perhaps it’s name come from this feeling too.

Very nice French restaurant. We went for lunch on week days and had set lunch course with drinks for reasonable price compared to the quality and service.
The fish, beef tartar, grilled duck, and the rest of the menu were all great.
The place is spacious and the service is simply very good.
The place is also children friendly with dedicated children's menu.

Went for lunch with as a group, and we all loved the place. The food was exceptionally gourmet, the decor is cute and welcoming, and the staff is so friendly!
The only dish that one person in our group didn’t enjoy was the entrecôte. But everything else was perfect.
The miso-salmon entre was my favourite!

Food was good, portions were good as well. Waiter could speak English, which is helpful to someone that is not natively French. Had lots of beef options. I went for the salmon which was cooked very well. Crisp on the outside and soft and tender on the inside.
