What a wonderful restaurant! We chose to have dinner there, and it was quite an experience. The place is super beautiful, with elegant yet cozy plate presentations, and the food is delicious. It's been a while since we had such a delicious fish dish. The service was impeccable; Emma and the rest of the staff treated us like royalty. Highly recommended for all occasions!

Reviewer visited from Singapore.
This was our first dinner on our Paris holiday, as we wanted some old school Parisian bistro fare to start trip off with a bang.
We were recommended to eat here at the end of our last trip in 2023. Unfortunately, during that visit we could not find the time to squeeze out a a meal here. So, we vowed to come here when we visited Paris again.
Unfortunately, we were not very impressed, and when we looked back at our Paris holiday meals as a whole, Benoit unfortunately ranks the lowest out of all our meals.
The service and atmosphere score full marks but the main event, the food, left a lot to be desired.
It’s not that it was prepared badly it was that it was very pedestrian/regular. The flavors and dishes fell short of our expectations and didn’t really surpass in any aspect at all.
This is especially so when one takes into account the amount one might spend and the quality of the food. There was definitely a mismatch in this regard.
We spent about €100/pax with no drinks.
Unfortunately, unless we hear from someone we trust that they improve the food significantly, we will not be back again.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Paris. Every single thing in the dish is remarkably delicious and tasty.
The service was great too, but it needs a reservation for a table even at lunch time.

I liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I also liked the food, but I would like more dishes for vegetarians. Because there is little choice for me to taste something, please add more seafood to the menu)

A traditional restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and service was great. I had the scallop dish which was good (but nothing to write home about). However, my wife had the “Tiger Calf Head” which was really exceptional. I wish I had ordered the same dish as hers. However, I will be back if only to order this same dish 😋

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

Nice place for brunch. Took longer than expected to be served. I ordered scrambled eggs but was served fried eggs, and it then took a long time to receive the replacement. However, to give due credit, eggs were scrambled perfectly.

Traditional french food, good taste and presentation. Cooking standard is little different than what usually ordered in North America, we ordered medium rare but it's more like rare to my taste.

Beautiful restaurant. Food was incredible and young girl at the front who showed us to our seat and waited on us was such a doll. So sweet and deserves to be recognized. I feel bad I do not remember her name, but she has long back hair in two braids and a sweet smile. Dessert was incredible also. Yummy pumpkin soup. Drinks were delicious.

Rock bar, with some emo notes! Music is nice but it also has some interesting decoration! Of course beer is a must but it also offers more types of drinks and food! The general area of Les Marais is full of people from all backrounds and cultures, colour and sounds! It's worth a visit, even more than the area of Montmartre, as you can see the city from above in many more efficient ways regarding time and money! Before visiting Paris, make sure you have a detailed plan of traveling and sightseeing as it might be too much for a couple of days. About 6-9€ per drink which is normal for Paris! Many kind people ready to help and the stuff is most joyous too!

Wonderful bar and restaurant with a metal music theme! The staff is absolutely charming and exceptionally accommodating! The food is phenomenal and highly recommend everything on the menu! Some of the best steaks we have had in France! Not to be missed!

If you like death metal, you have to eat dinner here or grab a beer here. In fact, everyone should.
I’m actually not a death metal fan but came as an open minded adventurous person. This place is the real deal and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.
If this was a common jazz bar the line for the food would be wrapped around the street, and/or reservations would be booked out for months. It’s a secret gem in Paris.
Now, I have to say, it is still a secret because it is a *legit* death metal bar and restaurant. If you want to blend in wear all black and maybe spend a few months growing out a thick beard. (Pro tip: Grab a Shining t-shirt). It’s worth it!!
Meat was tender not fatty. The meat was imported from Argentina. The dipping sauce was flawless with the slightest hint of spice (not too much). The potatoes were the best, most potatoey, yellow potatoes I’ve ever had. There isn’t a near second I’m considering, I just know it was the best potatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. The dish I ordered was called “the threesome” on the English menu.
I. am. stunned. Absolutely excellent.

traveling in Paris for more than a week...enough for Parisien cuisine ?
why not Spanish ?
the Restaurant located in the street full of bar and restaurant.
can't compare to eating in Spain, but very acceptable in Paris.
delicious tapas and paella, octopus salad....enjoying Spanish foods in Paris.
Staff is very busy...need more patience to waiting order like other Parisien Restaurant, when they ready they will came to you...😄

Good thing they speak Spanish. Not all places that sell food from a Spanish speaking country speak Spanish so that’s good. They charge you 5 € euros if you want to use their outlets to charge your phone, ridiculous! Workers are nice and friendly. Mojito had almost no alcohol, disappointing. The place is cute and ok if you’re around the area. The empanadas and potatoes are not great and quite small, understandable for the area I guess. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. But maybe just to give it a second chance.

A very high praise for a very good place. We were greeted, seated and served quickly for their set lunch menu. Their knowledge of wine was excellent and they enjoy picking the wine to your tastes. My preferred red was 3rd taste in, my partners was guessed first time.
Service was excellent, warm and inviting by all servers and excellent English speaking staff.

The pizza is good and the service is satisfactory…I think some of the servers did not completely understand our group but that is understandable (English speakers)
This is a great place for a large group and the happy hour is really nice…we all liked our drinks!
It was also nice of them to join us in singing happy birthday for someone in our group.

We ordered 2 flams, one original with mushrooms and one with chicken and they were very tasty. The server was the nicest guy ever with a big smile on who elevated our positive experience. He was also very helpful when we asked about halal options. Would totally recommend!

I don’t really recommend this chain. The flam in the oven were ok. The Cesar salad wasn’t good at all. The service was alright. but the prices are cheap. It’s nice to go to when you’re with kids or a big group.

I do recommend this place!
they didn't get a 5 start review not for the beer or food, is mostly for the bathrooms.
the beer is so unique to anything I've personally had before and its delicious. flat pizza maybe not as unique but definitely delicious. we paid about 16 euros.

Delicious flamkuchen - thin crunchy dough with oil and herbs. There are just 2 vegetarian options yet I’ll gladly order the one we had again, so good it was!
There are also dessert flamkuchen i haven’t tried before and it was great too. All for a very good price!
The downsides would be only warm beer and bathroom, that you can see the male part easily and could be more clean.

Serendipity, found an Irish pub in Paris and rushed straight in. There were so many people, and there was a live band in the evening. We sat in the front, and it was a special feeling. Ordered drinks, watching the band's live performance. The atmosphere is very good, lively and happy around. Sleepless nights.

I went on a Monday night and had a great experience. It is true that not many tables were taken, so it was a slow night, but the waiter that looked after me was really nice and attentive. Got me an English menu, checked if they had what I wanted (they did) and would check in on me regularly.
The food was also really good. I had the tuna tartare and the pavlova and they were both faultless.

I’ve been coming to café Beaubourg for more years than I can count…. Loved it from the very first time, as I was impressed to seat within artists and writers, as a teenager I saw these privileged moments as an investment, a secret school to the Parisian scene and elegance.
When I meet my friends there, and I do every time I am in Paris, I always come first and a little early to indulge in the sweet nostalgia of my long gone innocence…
What a pleasure to welcome the first sunshine of spring, seated with a friend so great we share a lifetime of love and support, the iconic miss Tyra, and thank you Elias for such a warm welcome : « votre gentillesse n’a d’égale que votre beauté ».

Great place to sit and chill and people watch. The onion soup is very nice but the pizza was a bit too lil with its ingredients.
Whiny wee - 3 months ago
Warm service and great food suggestions. I tried the watercress soup and was thoroughly impressed. My salmon was also delicious. The skin had the perfect crunch and flavor. The pesto sauce/lemon complemented the dish completely.
The dessert was the final hit. I wished my kids had better table manners but I understand that the chocolate sauce covered giant profiterole was too good, the kids had to devour it as fast as possible...
We finished having the best meal in Paris together.

Stopped in for a Sunday snack / treat. The place is lovely, has a good atmosphere. There is an upstairs section which looks a bit like a library mezzanine type of thing where you can look down on the ground floor tables. Initially I found the service a bit slow and did consider leaving at one point, but I stayed. The staff are friendly and the food is good. I had the club sandwich, which was a little more expensive than nearby places, but it was worth it. Their hot chocolate was also very good. Overall a nice relaxed place with people reading papers, books etc. Definitely worth a visit and I will probably go back there again.
