We had a super big seafood plater : Opera Royal x2 (Euro$115x2 plus Entrees : escargots, steamed asparagus and a soup ). The waiter was not attentive enough to change clean plates for us for the whole meal. The ordering process was not smooth. Staffs not patient and did not listen carefully. We had the wrong order at the first place, though the manager changed quickly but the experience was not good. We preferred the Entree to be served first then the seafood platter to share, but everything came at the same time and the table was too small. In general, food was good, service was not up to standard with this price tag : a bill of Euro $408. (for 2 Adults and 2 kids). Excellent food, service not up to standard.

Beautiful interior at the Cafe de la Paix. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the service. We ordered a bottle of water for seven people, but the waiter empty the bottle by the sixth cup, leaving my mom with no water. When the bread came, we asked for a gluten free option, which was acknowledged but did not arrive until the main course was served, which was way too late. We also ordered the seafood platter, and found that one whelk had an empty shell. When we told the waiter he simply laughed at us and did nothing to address our concern. The food was decent for its price, my personal favourite was the French onion soup. We also tried to soften the mood by speaking small bits of French with the waiter. The meal ended on a good note, with some delicious complementary chocolate, but overall the service was disappointing.

My most fav restaurant in Paris during the trip!
The onion soup lives up to its reputation and the scallop dish was delicious. The waiter was very friendly, he made us feel comfortable and gave us excellent recommendations too! Love this place and will definitely come back again.

We just come by without any reservation.
When we entered the restaurant,we were kept waiting a long while even the server told the table is cleaning. At this time, we were informed”just one minute and it will be ready soon”,but we waited for the table around 5~6mins and there were a lot of vacant table.
When we sat down and saw the menu, there were written English but the words spelled were French dish name.Because we are not French,so I asked if there were ENGLISH menu or not, the server looked like ridicule us and replying us” it was all written in English, doesn’t it?” His attitude was arrogant and I felt this restaurant is not welcome foreigner at all.
Btw, we couldn’t grasp the meaning of each dish,so we ordered a main course. (Sever also didn’t explain the food, he seemed to be talking order ASAP and left us to do his next step.)
The price of course was higher than another restaurant, but I thought it was not worthy…
(It would be the worst service I had experience in France of this travel.)

The onion soup was terrible(!). Ravioli also.
In general, I consider the cafe to be devoid of the French spirit.
The service is fast and good, they made me a diet salad made of leaves, although for 13 euros)
You can visit this establishment, but there is no reason to be impressed.

The restaurant has late opening hours and is located near the opera, making it ideal for a post-theatre dinner. The service is friendly, and the food is of good quality. Payments can be made online by scanning a code assigned to your table. However, the prices are a bit high.

Great food with great price!
Ordered 1/2 dozen of Escargots, Onion Soup, Beef Tartar, Seabass and profiteroles.
Everything delivered in perfection!

The worst service I received in Paris. We were seated very quickly in a nice corner, however the waiter was in a hurry as the place was full. When we asked for Lunch menu, the waiter got so "disappointed" that instead of handing me it, he basically threw the menu on me.
The food was ok but nothing special taking into account the history and the variety of seafood that they serve.
Though I was craving for a nice dessert and had actually a chosen one, we left the place right after having our mains, to have our dessert in a much nicer place.
Not recommended at all, there are much cozier and tastier cafes and restaurant in every corner of Paris.

They also serve a set menu which is called Opera at a very good price. The food was good, the service was okay but it was very slow during the peak lunch time.

Place is underrated from outside, especially in winter but you will have a pleasant surprise when you go in. Well decorated with serene atmosphere, good music.
Service is very flawless, friendly and fast. Small menu but good food and reasonably priced. Mood might change in weekend when after dinner it turns into a disco! great option al round.

Real nice place to have a lunch with colleagues. Cosy atmosphere, good food. Prices are quite high in my opinion but I don't live in Paris, maybe they're standard in the area.

Cheap looking ostentatious decor, way too overpriced for an extremely average unimaginative food. Excellent service though.

Very good service! I just love it!!! It’s much more than a “French service” - very attentive and careful to details - from welcome at the front and during the evening. We had Rodolphe who was serving us during the dinner - it’s TOP! Everything went more than perfect 😍

My friends and I got here by accident, and what a happy accident it was. The service was amazing, the food great and the atmosphere was very nice as well.
The cocktails are fairly priced and well made. We had the filet de boeuf and it was cooked to perfection as we asked.
The staff is very friendly makes you feel more than welcome.
Definitely coming back once we’re back in Paris.

We walked in with no Rez but they were able to sit us in a back room. The other rooms are prettier but there was a view of the pretty rooms. The food and service were excellent! Good portions too if you like to eat!

The food was average at best. My vegetable platter was a small bowl with a ring of vegetables leaving the entire middle of the bowl empty. There were maybe 10 small pieces. I expected more for 25 euros. One of my colleagues had the 25 euro zucchini pasta and reported it was also "okay". My other 2 colleagues shared the steak for 2-3. They stated it was very, very good.
The tables are set up in an inner courtyard which was nice. The service was typical of other restaurants I've visited on this trip which is to say you need to flag them down if you want something.
Overall, it was okay but it isn't on my "return to" list.

What an amazing place! Me and my wife went to the place with very late notice to the Resturant and they did the outmost to served us unique plates and cocktails on time before the kitchen is closed. We stay up to 1.00 am and still there are people inside having fun and enjoying drinks/wine/cocktails.
I strongly recommend cucumber cocktail.
Thank you guys we made our anniversary very special!

I was amazed at how gorgeous the interior was.
I went there because it was recommended on social media and it was really nice and I am glad I went.
There were many people taking pictures, and I recommend stopping by when you are in Paris!

Well worth a visit if in Paris, probably one of the most beautiful Starbucks you will see.
Lots of seating inside a stunning historic old building.

This place is absolutely stunning and a great spot for taking pictures. However, I highly recommend ordering an iced drink since there is no airside. I couldn't sit there for more than 20-30 minutes due to the heat. Despite the crowd, I was surprised to find a table right away. The Starbucks opera house conditioning in is beautiful, but it does get quite hot inside.

Best Indian food in Paris one can get. The hosts are friendly and has been able to maintain the same taste that we get back in India. All the dishes are delicately prepared.

It was a great experience to begin with, the owner greats you and drops you off at the door, we spoke for a while at the door. Even though the menu was same but he made the effort to listen and change the spicy level according to what we were looking for and it hit the spot. The Roti out of stood out, different and tasty, the chicken madras was the hit for us, definitely recommend if you are in mood for some Indian spicy food. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

I love this place, I get to go there from time to time during my lunch break and this place never disappoints. Their level of service and customer satisfaction is just something out of this world (I mean it in a really positive way). The way they great their customers, the joy they seem to have as they bring your food and remember what you like from past orders is just fantastic.
They are tons of Indian restaurants around but none of them are as great on so many different levels.

Food was GREAT 👍. The owners are very friendly and nice. When we asked for the best route to the Effie tower, they help us and provided several different routes.
Eat here and I’m pretty sure they (both food and service) won’t let you down! 😇
The plates are beautiful too! (Near the opera so you can come here easily )

The food is authentic and very delicious. It is indeed the real Chinese food. The staff is very friendly. Although we came later without any reservations, the staff tried their best to find a table for us and make it comfortable for us. The restaurant has a relative small space. So it is a good idea to book a table beforehand.

Best xiao long bao anywhere you go. This is truly xiao long bao heaven. We ordered three different kinds, pork, pork w crab meat, black truffle. All good and distinctly different. The other dishes were just okay. If you are not a fan of xiao long bao, it may not be your best choice of Chinese restaurant. But we are, and we are very happy

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

I love coming to Mamou. It is now a stop off every time I am in Paris. Fresh seasonal menu, the owner explains the menu in great detail and possible in English which is very sweet. They also have the best bread on the table but remember to save room for their equally brilliant food. Friendly, no fuss, great food and location. What more can you ask for!

Mamou is French restaurant owned and run by Chef Monsieur Romain Lalu in central/northern Paris. His deputy is Julie who served as our main waitress tonight.
Pros: In short, this is the best French restaurant in Paris. The food was tasty, impeccably presented, the flavours and combinations showed imagination yet everything was oh so tasty. Chef Romain's skill is evident everywhere. His technical abilities amazing! Service was tip top too! Julie knows the food and drinks menu flawlessly. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect waitress! We were also impressed that Chef Romain said hello to us and replies to emails himself! Amazing! Chef Romain is the tall friendly man with dark hair and glasses who is the really friendly yet knowledgeable man who wanders the floor of his restaurant. Great value for money! The food is far too tasty for the very reasonable prices on offer.
Coms: None really. The only main suggestion is it would be nice if they could integrate their booking system with Google maps. That way, it would be easier for tourists to make a reservation.
Top tip: Listen to Julie. Suggest you order what she suggests. She was right: the mushrooms in a cream sauce was the tastiest starter. The veal with risotto similarly amazing! The Pina colada was the favorite desert on our table tonight!
In short, just go to Mamou. It's definitely the best French restaurant we have eaten at. And we'll definitely be back and again.
Congratulations once again to Romain, Julie and rest of the Mamou team! Job well done! I definitely be back!

Amazing time spent here for lunch. The restaurant is so clean and the employees are so helpful. Good food, but customer service is -1! The menu wasn’t updated and the first dish I wanted wasn’t there. Waited for way too long for our order to be taken, tables a bit too small and overcrowded.
