My wife and I stayed recently, and had a wonderful visit to Paris while staying at the hotel. Before arrival, they asked about our visit and made helpful suggestions to enhance our stay in Paris. They also upgraded our room upon arrival, and added a nice gift to welcome us to the hotel. The rooms were excellent and we had no issues with upkeep from the staff. The neighborhood the hotel is in, Marais, is also charming, adding to the entire experience. If you want a nice quiet place to relax in, with extra comforts and a staff that puts extra effort in to making your experience special, then look no further!

I had the great luxury of spending several days at this hotel for my birthday getaway. The staff was so lovely and upgraded us to a beautiful room. The location is perfect in the Marais. We enjoyed many cocktails (and hot chocolate) in the lobby bar. Unfortunately we did not eat at Anne. I felt like I had a pied à terre in Paris for 6 days. I cannot wait to return! Merci!

We were two Asian friends on a shopping trip.
This is our experience at Le Pavilion de la Reine, a hotel which I wanted to experience. Nothing wrong with the hotel, although it appears dated. I normally stay in the Haussmann area when in Paris because of its close proximity to Galleries Lafayette and the dinning places. For a change I wanted to explore Marais.
The hotel staff were polite but I was appalled by how they treated us on arrival. While we were aware that the permissible check in time is 3-4 pm we did request for "if possible" an early check in..we were informed that they were unable to accommodate that day as they were full and guests have yet to check out. That being the case we accepted their explanation.
However we noticed that when other guests arrived they were very quickly shown to the rooms without having to wait till 3-4 pm. Not one guest but at least 3 when we were 'trying to find ourselves' for the next 10-15 minutes at the lobby near the reception. I then went up to the reception staff to enquire why we are treated differently and the answer was our room was not ready. Surely if the room allocated is not ready with certainty they should be able to offer us another room as they did to the other 3 guests. there is not much place to wait in the hotel except for a small seater directly in front of the reception.
I then put a Q to reception staff as to why we are treated differently.
Secondly when we returned someone at the front desk, who was waiting for us to check in, clarified that the reason why a room couldn't be offered to us was because we asked for a Twin bed. Fine! When we got to the room we were shocked to find that it was a double bed and not a twin, which was the condition stated when we were making the booking. So what was the reason why we were not accommodated with an early check in???
I had to call the reception to inform them that the condition of my stay was that I must have a twin bed. And guess what, they came to the room and took the beds apart to make it a twin in that small room where there was no space to open the cupboard door so we had to leave our luggages downstairs.
Thirdly, we noticed that for every guest that checked in that day, the person/s at the reception checking them in, ensured that he or his colleague will show the guest to the room. When we checked in on return after 4 pm at about 7ish pm... the guy at the reception handed us the key and told us just the room number, like we knew where the lifts are or where the room is!!! When I told him we are not familiar with the hotel, he then begrudgingly requested the bell boy to show us to the room.

We had a fantastic stay. Their staff welcomed us with warmth and friendliness and were incredibly helpful. The room, while on the small side, was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The servers were professional and very attentive. The breakfasts were delicious. We had lunch one day at Anne, their restaurant, and had a spectacular meal with exceptional service. Everything about our time there was outstanding.

Our room was like having delightful French apartment. We loved it. The staff is always welcoming. Special kudos to the breakfast staff - Monty and others - who made our experience wonderful. This hotel is nestled in a French garden and when you return home to your room it is quiet and calm and a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is simply a perfect place to stay in Paris!

One of the best French restaurants I’ve tried. I got the ratatouille and ravioli. The ratatouille was a bit cold and the bread that came with it was a bit stale, nothing special. The ravioli was great, very rich and cheesy. The bread and olive oil that came with the dinner service was really good (better than the bread that came with the ratatouille). My friends got the plat du jour, which was braised lamb with veggies, which they liked it. We also got the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was good too!

The restaurant was so busy and had a line with a waitlist, but the host was so organized and checked in with everyone often. Despite them being constantly busy, the service was so good from our waitress. This was our first meal in Paris and it was hard to top. We did the escargot to start followed by their duck and steak, with their house wine. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will think about this duck for a very long time. Also tried their famous mousse and it did not disappoint, would highly recommend..

Reservation is mandatory or you can wait for hourse because people keep coming even during night! The food and atmosphere is great. Local but a chic place. I would recommend prawns, duck breast, duck leg and potato gratin, chocolate mousse. But the best ones are duck breast, potato gratin and chocolate mousse.

Man, where to begin?
Photos don't do justice to this wonderful experience we had at Chez Janou. It was beautiful spring afternoon in Paris and my wife recommended we check the place out.
This is as Parisian as it gets. The aura, the food, the company.
I was in awe and I haven't felt so happy having lunch in a while.
The mussels Au Gratin , tagliatelles aux Escargots, and Entercôte bistrot were all 10/10's!
And ofcourse, ended things with a chocolate mousse with we shamelessly devoured in mere seconds.
Thank you for the wonderful time, and thank you Benjamin our host for the afternoon!
Until next time, because this certainly won't be the last time.

We had a booking for 2pm but apparently with the rain people were late so they were running late so we waited outside until 2:30pm when we asked o when our table would be ready as a number of other groups had gone in after we had arrived. It seemed as if they had forgotten about us which was a little annoying so we didn’t get seated until 2:45pm, by which time we were quite wet from standing outside & hungry.
However, the staff were all very friendly & helpful despite the place being absolutely packed, they were apologetic & once we were seated we were promptly given menus & orders taken, the food arrived very quickly & it was a fantastic meal. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection & my sister had prawns & the ricard rice which was delicious as well. Then we had pudding of the chocolate mousse, which comes in a massive bowl & the staff just plop it on a plate, a little understated presentation but the experience & actual taste of it is glorious. We also had a crème brûlée which as well was excellent.
It is a bit pricey but the whole packed, busy but fun restaurant is a delightful experience. Would love to come again!

Late night. Hungry. So we stopped in off street without reservations. We were seated immediately!
Prompt service. Food was good. Not stellar, but it hit the spot.
Highlight was the Dolcetto. Very good and good price.
Rocket salad also good.
Contemplating dessert as I write this.

The pizza at this restaurant was excellent - the crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.
The Caprese salad was also delicious, with ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had a rich, savory sauce that was perfectly balanced. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for tasty Italian food.
Amazing Panna Cotta!!!
One downfall is that they do not take Amex (American Express).

As others has written this is a very nice Italian restaurant with helpful staff and good food. It’s a little pricey and (though this isn’t so unusual for Paris) there were no high-chairs for our son, but we had a really excellent meal and will hope to return!

Pizza was F A N T A S T I C,pasta was delicious but the wine list was very short.Service was so and so ,they see us as tourists and they never said to us about the plates of the day and they did not offer to us what they give to everybody before the order as a welcome snack.
Prices very logical

Had the best lunch here! Excellent service, food was outstanding, and the picante oil can’t be beat! We had the prosciutto e bufala which was excellent, and one of the pizza specials which was called pizza chic with shaved cured pork, rosemary and arugula—also excellent. Our daughter had the margherita and loved it. Highly recommend getting the picante oil to drizzle on top! Just the right amount of heat!

Very good experience walking in off the street. They serve food continuously, so no break between lunch and dinner. The broccoli anti pasta was intentionally served cold but was full of flavor. The ricotta pizza was delicious. Don’t forget to ask for the picante oil. Would definitely go back.

Very good experience! Just walked by and from street view saw some very delicious pizzas.
Got a table by the sidewalk, and ordered ‘something’ on the French menu card looking good 😊
And is was absolutely ‘manifique’. Got their own iced tea as well – nice taste – actually my first thought was that it was with alcohol, but very good taste.
I can recommend this place – no doubt!

Love the food, the staffs are so so nice. The pizza with truffle is so yummy. Pana cotta is good. The only thing is the lights are a little too dark, went there at around 9pm, couldn’t see very well 😂

What can I say about Restaurant L'Ange 20 in Paris? I was lucky enough to get a place to eat at the bar.
The charming ambiance, staff, and exquisite cuisine created a memorable dining experience. From the first bite to the last, each dish showcased culinary mastery and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu, a delightful example of French flavors, left my taste buds in awe wanting more.
The fois gras was super tasty and the entrecôte melted in my mouth.
The service and cozy atmosphere make L'Ange 20 a must-visit gem in the heart of Paris.
Few tables make the experience even more valuable. Suggest to book in advance.

Loved the food here, great small plates to share, delicious flavors and variety. Service was not bad, just a bit oblivious. I’d go back for sure. Really enjoyed the youthful atmosphere with the gorgeous tile walls and floors, and the fun collection of dish patterns and shapes.
My pictures really don’t do the food justice, especially the abuella dessert, which was delicious.

Great restaurant, we came on a Monday for lunch and it was full of locals. We had the beef bourguignon and the steak. Both were delicious, the beef burguignon was super tender, the sauce tasted a lot like wine but at the same time it wasn't super strong, just really full of flavour, and mixed with the meat and the mashed potato it was amazing. I tried the steak and was lovely too, it came with grilled veggies and mashed potato. Big and nice portions, good service. They did have a lunch menu option as well.

Nice French restaurant nearby the metro stop Saint Paul. Even without reservation they accommodated us ( we were three people ). Service is excellent. I had the classic French bourguignon and honestly I had better ones here in paris. After all it’s a good restaurant

Wow , I was skeptical about this place at first , but Wow definitely one of the best places to grab a bite to eat . Amazing Boeuf Bourguignon here and it's served over mash potatoes and a rich red wine sauce. It was absolutely delicious. We started with the mushroom & escargot appetizer and it didn't disappoint. Great address in Le Marais.

Our last dinner in Paris and it was fantastic! We came for the beef bourguignon and it did not disappoint - rich and saucy. The chicken was a special for the evening and it was amazing, the flavour on the skin was great and the meat was juicy. The sauce with it was incredible. Mash on the plainer side but made a great pairing for two rich dishes. Comfort food at its best. The staff were really nice and accommodating with our poor French language skill. Fit us in as a walk in. Clean bathrooms. Great spot

An extraordinary series of flavor and texture combinations make this a can’t miss experience if you are looking for a reasonably priced one star experience in Paris. Impeccable service and a short but excellent wine list and wine pairing available complement the food journey. We had the six course tasting menu where each dish was a discovery and the dessert course was in fact the completely different creations, one based on chocolate, one on sunchokes and one on pineapple. The lamb sauce featured salty seaweed. Delicious and innovative throughout.

Stunning lunch. Have dined in many 2 and 3 star restaurants but this meal was right up there in terms of food quality and flavour.
Excellent front of house with a charming general manager. Wine pairings very good too.
Highly recommended!
Ross Lacey - 3 months ago
Food: Every dish was technically perfectly executed, especially the meat and fish dishes. They offered a few classic and a few innovative and more experimental pairings. The classic pairings were done well, while the latter were sometimes a bit too bold - the dishes didn't feel harmonious and for 1-2 dishes even not enjoyable.
Service: Friendly but needs improvement. They forgot to offer us the wine pairing option even though we asked about it and later said that it was too late to take it and offered individual glasses instead. They weren't that attentive overall.
Atmosphere: Interior design is elaborate, while too dark for my personal taste (especially over lunch on a sunny weekend). Food presentation was done very well.

We went for the Menu Theodore at Qui Plume La Lune and it didn’t disappoint! 2 courses and appetisers ( multiple plates per course) of amazing food for only €45. Our favourites were the veal and the mushroom risotto from the main and the egg appetiser. Service was excellent, everyone was really friendly and an overall lovely experience. Would recommend!

Absolutely delicious. The food had excellent flavors and fresh tastes. The staff is incredibly friendly. I saw that there was a person who gave the restaurant 1 star because they didn’t allow bathroom access to a non customer. Whoever you are, shame on you. There are restaurants that gain their livelihood on whether they get good reviews or not. Thanks again, for the great meal. Would recommend 10/10.
