We stayed in the suite on the third floor. It was nice and spacious. The room could use more lighting, but I believe that's the norm for a lot of hotels in Paris. The staff was great and the hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and cafes. There's also a taxi rank within a few minutes across the main street. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights recently and loved the hotel. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and, in my opinion, very quiet compared to many other hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast is include and was served in our room; it was excellent. The location is also very good and in walking distance to many things. We plan to stay here again the next time we are in Paris.

Boutique hotel in a great cafe and shopping are “the 6th”. Building is 400 or so years old with a very unique room layouts that make use of the original space. Spend at least a night or two or your whole stay vs a big chain hotel. Remember, this is Paris. Jeff and Joanne

A delightful place to stay when visiting Paris! Located in the heart of the vibrant Left Bank, but an easy walk to the Right Bank (only 1 km from the Louvre). 95 meters walk to the Métro. We stayed in the Carnovsky room (online – Junior Suite). Spacious, well-climatized, modern shower and separate tub, front view overlooking the Carrefour de l’Odéon. In room coffee machine & mini-fridge. Very friendly staff. Fluent English. Ample breakfast included in room rate- meat, cheese, croissants, yogurt, eggs made to order. Guests are given preference for reservations at their associated restaurant, which we took advantage of and recommend. We’ll stay there when next in Paris.

We had the most wonderful visit - being in my third trimester of pregnancy, I was a bit nervous about knowing what to eat. All the staff were really accommodating, from finding a comfortable table for me and then working with us to make sure the food was pregnancy-safe. The braised beef was melt in the mouth, my husband loved the duck and the puddings were the most exceptional piece of patisserie we tasted in Paris. A truly authentic French experience!

The place is incredible. There's a ton of history involved, the atmosphere is very special. The food was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Definitely book in advance! The staff was very nice and welcoming, although we had to wait quite long despite having a reservation. Kudos to the waiters who do their work perfectly! It's a place everyone should visit.

Great restaurant.
The food is very tasty.
Atmosphere is nice.
The staffs have good service mind.
The staff are full capacity compared to the restaurant size. I think they should have more staff I wait for the main course around 45 minutes. Just only this that I deduct 1 point from service.

We had really great dinner in Le Procope. We couldn’t book online and our hotel reception couldn’t do it via call so we took a risk to try walk-in and we were seated. Place itself is beautiful, food was great, honestly very delicious! Everything from starter till desert. Woman who served our table was great, so professional, we didn’t asked her name, but she is doing very nice job. Thanks to her. We were sitting on the ground floor to the left

We were looking forward to our special meal on our last night in Paris. It was GOOD - it could have been EXCELLENT.
We turned up on time and were seated promptly and then ignored completely for 18 mins. I timed it. Sure, they were busy, but we just wanted to order wine. Once we finally got under way, the evening picked up greatly.
The wine was superb. My snails and my wife’s pate was excellent. My wife’s coq a vin was reported as the best meal she’s had in decades. My duck breast was flavourful, generous and cooked beautifully. However, it had cooled too much by the time I got it. Dessert of profiteroles and their specialty sorbet - amazing. Cafe au Lait was lukewarm. It was promptly replaced but did not improves.
For a lesser establishment, I would have rated 5 stars. But for Le Procope and its stellar reputation and pricing, 5 stars requires perfection and it slipped slightly.
Would we go back? Certainly!

When we arrived there the waiter found us a table very fast, we didn't have to wait, it was a rainy morning. The serving was quite fast taking in count the amount of people there. The coffee and croissants were good but the hot chocolate and whipped cream not really. The atmosphere was nice.
Alexandra Cristea - a week ago
We went to this place because it is really famous and there was a really long queue of people waiting to enter. The food was normal, nothing special, and the drinks also. We tried the hot chocolate and we were a little bit disappointed, but the presentation in general it was beautiful. Also the croissant was really good to be honest !
The waiter was really kind with us and very attentive, even if the place was really busy and he was in charge of too many tables.

What a delightful place! Friendly wait staff, excellent food and a terrific atmosphere & decor. We enjoyed it so much that we went 3 times during our stay in Paris. Each time there was a different pianist - all of them great. It made it a really lovely experience, especially hearing the improvisations on French classics. The antipasto plate is a must to share. The bucatini scampi is pasta heaven and my husband loved his paccheri, but everything we tried we enjoyed. Our new favourite restaurant in Paris!

We had the pleasure of having our New Year’s Eve at this place. Atmosphere was on point, from the lights to the person playing by the piano, decoration, food…. It was something to remember. Thanks to all the staff working that night.

Came back after 35 years! It was a bit difficult to get a table for hostess was not particularly accommodating. The first day we tried they were packed, the second try same hostess took us to the back of the restaurant in front of the kitchen and restrooms 🙄. After we asked for a change, then I can say it was a great experience. Our waitress was incredibly diligent and friendly, went above and beyond for us. Food exceeded our expectations, not only very well prepared We ordered the the Arancini, the Gnudi Verdi, a beef carpaccio and the veal Milanese. It was great to come back after all those years and find it as delicious and charming as I remembered.

We booked for brunch after reading very positive reviews. And mine won't be as bad. We were initially disappointed with the room. It looked like a budget ibis or that kind of hotel with big red letters wishing you bon appetit. And it was very noisy. We had reserved for 2 p.m. and when we arrived, there were no more special breads and no more pastries. I was served cold water for my tea and when I asked for hot water, the waitress took the liberty of checking in front of me if I was telling the truth. The bottled water was not fresh though. And while I was still helping myself, an employee was removing the plates. It wasn't bad but definitely not worth 70 euros per person.

I saw this place being promoted in a Video on social media, it was represented as the best steak with fries in Paris. I thought i should give this a try.
When i arrived, the first thing i saw was a long line of people waiting to enter, even though i arrived when they opened. After 40 minutes waiting on the line, I entered the place, The waitresses were polite, but i understand due to the amount of people here sometimes they might not seem like it. This is like an eat and go restaurant, due to the big amount of people waiting outside you're not able to chat for long inside, but it's understandable. I wasn't offered any menu, the waitress asked how I wanted the meat; i think they offer something else besides the meat and fries.
The taste of the meat was not of my liking. Maybe it was the cut, maybe it was the quality, maybe something else, but i didn't like how it tasted. The fries were nice. After you finish the first part, they serve you the other, is not that they serve you twice, it's just that they offer a big piece and divide them in 2 because it would look bad to have all that meat in one plate.
So i spent around 50 euros for the meat + fries and a cup of red wine. I think it's too much for what I've got, not wanting to give a bad review or anything, but i just don't like the concept of eating fast just to try it out.
Anyway, you can try it and maybe you'll like it.

I tried the restaurant first time based my friend suggestion the restaurant serving fix simple that was good enough include salad French fries and beef sliced.
The dish is quite enough to get full but you should wait at least half hour or an hour at the queue to able find free table that does meet the dish quality and price.
I paid the fix menu plus a desert 42 euros that does meet to wait an hour at least

Simple menu but delivers so much flavor! Server will only ask either rare or well done steak, with double serving. Hype is real with lines outside but well worth it! 😋👍🏼

My experience at this restaurant had its ups and downs, and here are some key points to consider:
- We waited for an hour and a half before being seated, as reservations are not accepted, and it operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The dining experience took an hour, from starters to dessert, but the catering was punctual and presented with finesse.
- The restaurant specializes in steak and fries, offering cooking options such as rare, medium, or well-done.
- The starter includes salad and bread (Note for any Muslim: The salad contains alcohol vinegar).
- The unique feature is the option for two refills of steak, each time providing three pieces of steak and unlimited fries.
- A choice is given at the end to opt for dessert.
While I recommend trying it once, my rating is four stars due to inconsistencies in the taste of the steak during different servings. The restaurant could benefit from improving its food quality management. Despite this, the service was excellent, and I'd like to commend the waitstaff for their hard work. If you find yourself in Paris, it's worth checking out. Don't forget to tip the fantastic waiters!

We arrived at the restaurant around 18:35 and there has been already a long queue. At the end, we were able to sit down around 8 ish.
The steak was cooked according to my order (rare), but that’s it. Steak tasted ok-ish, salad was quite mustardy and the French fries were just ok-ish too. There’s no wow factor for the food, and definitely we had better steak and fries elsewhere in Paris. For dessert, we ordered mini puffs filled with ice cream with chocolate sauce and it was surprisingly nice.
Although the waitress who served us mistook our ‘one glass of wine’ order and opened a bottle of wine instead, in general the waitresses there are very helpful and efficient.
In conclusion, the quality of food doesn’t not justify the long queuing time, and I don’t think I will visit there again in the future.

I spent some days in Paris with my wife and children and this place was great, we came during the afternoon to have dinner the whole family and then when we put the kids to sleep we came back to dance my wife and I. They treated us great, a waiter called Victoria was great to us and our kids and another latina one called Francesca was amazing, she even taught my wife and I some Salsa steps... To be real we came with some issues to solve and thanks to her we came back as in love as ever.
I deeply recommend!

The worst nachos ever eaten, completely unsalty, unflavoured, and without any consistency. It'd be a very little effort to purchase more quality nachos. Sandwich was ok. Environment quite good, even though we had to change tables because of the bad smell in the entrance area. They don't serve at all tables.

We were visiting Paris as a family and stumbled upon this cafe. What a great find. The desserts and atmosphere were amazing! We were served by Ryan - who went out if his way to make us feel welcome. He spoke to us in English after seeing how we could barely speak French. This made us feel at ease. He was so friendly, polite and helpful. Please keep up the good service and a special commendation to people like him who go beyond their job to provide excellent service! Thank you for a fantastic experience!
