The sashimi was in my opinion the star of all the courses presented. The place specializes in tempura. I have to admit that everything was great to the exception of the rice soup that was too salty and some tempuras like the courgette or brocoli lacked some in depth flavors and the matcha dessert that was too sweet for my taste. The squid and the foie gras tempura were outstanding.

We tried 58 euro menu.
1 more sashimi and Chazuke than the 48 euro menu.
15 different fried meat, vegetables and seafood.
Try the Sake there to pair the fried food, it will give you some fresh feeling.
The price is very reasonable for Paris. Recommend people who like the fried food to visit, but not a place for good sushi or sashimi.

One of the best meals we had in Paris! The set menu was extremely thoughtful, service was wonderful, and the attention to details elevates the whole experience. The decor was very homely and comfortable, but the food and service is gourmet.

Intimate, unique Japanese restaurant with a great tasting menu presented on beautiful ceramics. A bit variety of stimulating flavor profiles, presented in a very kind way (and very affordable to my personal opinion). Highly recommend.

By far my favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris. The kushiague are delicious. The wine and sake selection is perfect. The chef and his staff are wonderful. And it’s the most original duck thru the little door to enter the cozy restaurant. I love sitting at the bar to watch to cooking in action. Thank you Shu for creating a little corner of Japan in Paris!

Great party ambience and beautifully decorated, but unfortunately the quality of the food is laughably average at best. The beef tartare with caviar had terrible texture for tartare (you can find much better at any good bistro in the city) and the caviar in fact adds little to the taste. The veal chop was a terrible cut and had so much gristle that the chef should have felt embarassed serving it up.
A place to be seen and be taken to, just don’t expect to have top quality food.

This place is located at St.Germain/Paris. We came here to eat and drink something. We ordered Beef Wellington, Rigatoni with Black Truffle and Flambé style cooked Sea Bream. The Beef Wellington and Rigatoni was really good but I didn’t like the fish actually. The atmosphere of the bar was average.

We came here for celebrating st Valentine’s Day, got the table by paying for special menu (230 euro each without alcohol ) .
I booked the table in advance ( came from Cyprus).
Menu was fine, not the “wow” which we were expected at all:/, huge portions, so you don’t feel any taste of delicates which cover your meals.
manager didn’t give a nice table we were sitting the most away room, after the dinner she asked about our experience, I explained to her “that I booked in advance and expected the better place with life music”, so she answered, that I didn’t mention that I want better table for us🤣😂
Maybe it’s something French but anyway ;) working and serving for your reputation is the best thing for every business.
Amazing place for booking private room for celebration

Our dinner at Laperouse was one of the best meals I have had in Paris. The dishes were absolutely delicious, the presentation was impeccable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the ambiance and live pianist were perfection. Highly, highly recommend.

I attended a brand dinner at Laperouse during Paris Men's Fashion Week, and I must say, the staff's attentiveness and the delectable food made it an exceptional experience. My personal favorites were the truffle croque monsieur and the truffle pasta.
Laperouse boasts an ambiance that's incomparable to any other restaurant I've visited. It exudes cosmopolitan charm, exclusivity, and a quintessential French chicness. Undoubtedly, it ranks among the most beautiful restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining in worldwide. I wholeheartedly recommend Laperouse to anyone seeking a truly special evening.

My mom, sister, and I had a lovely time at the legendary Allard on our last night in Paris. After eating at several Michelin star restaurants during our stay, this was our only Michelin "guide" restaurant and we were not disappointed.
Alain Ducasse was present to greet us and ask how our meal was. He even served us bread and went to each table to speak to everyone. We thought this was a nice touch as it does not happen at every Michelin restaurant.
We enjoyed the amuse bouche, escargots, warm bread, duck with olives, seasonal vegetable side, and two cocktails. The duck is way too much meat for 2 people. We shared it between 3 people and still had one serving leftover. The vegetables were small but each was cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed the radishes and carrots. The bread was perfect and fresh.
We enjoyed the classic French bistro vibe and service was great - what you would expect from this restaurant.
We may return the next time we are in Paris.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the space was charming and quaint. The menu items we enjoyed were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. We chose a great wine from the very nice list that complemented our dinner nicely.

I have been eating at this restaurant since 1999. Every time I returned to Paris I repeated it. We were there on Saturday night as a group of 8. We left sad. It is not what it was, neither the quality nor the service. the duck was overcooked, the pigeon was burnt, the chicken was dry and even the dessert was bad and the worst thing was the waitress insisting on an extra tip. The only good was the cheese/pasta and the escargots

Amazing experience. We celebrated my fiancé's birthday. We ordered snails, frog legs, and duck served with olives. Chocolate profiteroles for desert. Everything was very tasty! We also liked the ambience and old French songs mixed with Sinatra ;)

needed a warm place to retreat from the cold after visiting Shakespeare & Co. and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. had tea while waiting for dinner service which only starts at 7pm. they have wifi if you need it. it's a beautiful, elegant and quaint space. i love that it's dimly lit, gives you a very 80s-restaurant -n french-movies ambience, along with the framed artwork and shelved books. ordered croquettes de camembert (most divine), daube de bœuf (which comes with tagliatelle) and the salad that comes with cheese. they were all delicious. the waitstaff were warm and friendly.

Dropped by this quaint place during our son’s birthday. We were all tired from walking around the whole day, but there server really made us feel welcome, traditional French cuisine which was fantastic. They even gave us free slices of cake to celebrate our son’s birthday.
Came back the next day to have more food and dessert :)

I had the three course for lunch, and it was a satisfying experience. The dishes were well balanced with different tastes, and especially would try the dessert once again - the white chocolate ice cream with added wasabi flavor.

Great place, we had a blast checking out all kinds of tea and drinkable herbs, the service was great, the staff spoke English well, the prices are moderate on some and expensive on others, but at the end of the day this is a high-end tea shop.
They sell loose tea and bagged ones, and they sell sweets made of different kinda tea as well, and they sell tea set's, and tin-containers.

The best tea store in Paris hands down. If you want real tea that is actually good then this is the place to come. They have a tea room and museum in addition to the store. There is ever kind of tea imagined here, in addition they have all tea accessories one could need to enjoy a cup of steaming hot tea. Enjoy your time at this store, they also have sweet treats such rock candy and chocolate here. If you are tea aficionado then this is your Shangri-La

More touristy than I remember but still fun and yummy. We like going here for a fun "tea party" lunch. The tea shop here is super cramped.... Love the rotating selection of sweet treats! They did revamp the appearance of the foods but same description. The decour could use some sprucing up.

We booked this place based on Google reviews and were very satisfied. The staff were very hospitable, spoke English enough for us to order with no errors and were polite as ever. We ordered drinks, starters and mains and were not left waiting despite it being relatively busy. The food was outstanding. The lamb korma has to be one of the best I’ve had. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Paris and are looking for good dinner vibes in the Latin quarter. Ask for a seat by the window for some people watching entertainment!

Awesome authentic Indian food. The person that served us, appeared to be the manager, and he treated us great. Food came out good and fast, everything perfect.

The food taste is okay. We found small bugs in the take away food. The location of hotel is lively and you will find many restaurants aroind and good amount of crowd on the street. The ambience of the restaurant is good. The service is good my only complaint is the hygiene. They provide both veg and non veg options and they also have a predefined menu which you can choose for Dine in. The restaurant was not so crowded when we visited the place.

Wooow!!! We ordered the 5 snack course where you can choose between delicious cheeses etc. It was one of the best food & wine we had in Paris!! Make sure to try their guacamole as well, it was so delicious. :))

We came to Monk for a late dinner and since it was pouring rain outside we decided to take a table deep inside the restaurant. From our table we could see the water running down the cobblestone street and hear the thunders but we were warm and protected from the wind and cold.
We had the hamburger without the cheese and beef tab with French fries. Both portions were big enough to satisfy the strong appetite. The beef was very tender and juicy. It was served with a tiny dish with caramelized onions and a small garden salad.
The service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The prices are reasonable too.
It was interesting to hear Freddy Mercury, Queens, The Weekend and Ariana Grande as a background music in France.
We also ordered a warm chocolate dessert with a vanilla ice cream, but couldn’t finish it. It was very good, only we overestimated our abilities. 😊
We had our very late dinner and when we left around 11:00 pm and there were still people in the restaurant.
I definitely recommend you to try this place.

This is one of my favorite places in all of Paris, in all of the world. Great live jazz manouche in a top notch atmosphere. The staff is wonderful. Juan and Fanny are the absolute best. Fanny, if you see this, you guys made me and my friends visit awesome (the two American guys in the corner table by the stage).
We got to see a young up and coming guitarist by the name of Marius Bojan and his rhythm player Arsene Charry, and they were out of this world. Really put on a show.
I absolutely can't wait to come back. These kinds of places are what make Paris so spectacular for me. Don't miss it!

This place is classed as a hidden gem and has some famous historical association with artists. The food was decent and the atmosphere and service was excellent. I would say it isn’t really hidden any more and the fact the menu has English on it( which is not necessarily a bad thing) means it is geared towards tourists. When we were there about half the clients were visitors to Paris. The quality of the food was good but not spectacular. The price is about right for such a place. The atmosphere and the service was excellent. Worth a visit if you are curious.

We decided to try out a restaurant that specializes in frog dishes, and we were pleasantly surprised. We sampled two frog dishes, and they were perfectly prepared. Along with the meal, we were recommended a very good wine by the waiter, which complemented the flavors excellently.
For someone who has never tried frog and would like to, I highly recommend this place. The dishes were prepared with care, and the flavors were delightful. The waiter's recommendation for the wine pairing was spot-on, adding to the overall dining experience. It was a unique culinary adventure, and we left with satisfied palates and a newfound appreciation for frog cuisine.

Enjoyed a delicious meal featuring frog legs. Every dish was perfection, from plating, to texture, to taste. Frog legs don't have any off flavor, it's mild, like chicken.
I especially liked the fried frog leg appetizer and frog legs with garlic sauce. The foie gras was delicious.
The service was spot on, the staff spoke several languages, and the menu had English translations.
The atmosphere was cozy and fun with all the entertaining frog accents.
Don't miss this dining experience when you're in Paris.

Food was definitely better than the pictures! Its dayum! The escargots were done differently from the usual and we cleaned up the dish real good by the time we finished.
On a side note: make reservations ya!

Excellent place where to enjoy fancy dinner or just a nice lunch.
We were amazed by the quality of the food, order famous frog legs, actually super tasty.
Sea bass was immaculate and the hanger stake probably one of the best I have ever had in my life.
For some people maybe this place will feel pricey but is worth it. For lunch with drinks we paid 97 euros.
I would definitely recommend this place.
