Gracious and welcoming service. Delicious appetizers especially artichoke cream, hummus, and mushroom pate. Sea weed appetizer was good but not as great and French onion soup wasn’t to one guests taste. But the sauces were great and mains were all very good. Best vegan restaurant we experienced in Paris!

I chose this place after looking at many options and reviews. It was a great experience. I didn't have a reservation but since I was alone, they instantly gave me a table. It is recommended that you reserve and arrive on time. The menu is crisp and has great taste. The atmosphere is cozy and has many plants. Worth trying.

Best vegan restaurant so far..
French onion soup was delicious, especially with the generous helping of vegan Cheese. Which tasted and looked like cheese. A great choice for a cold day. It will definitely warm you up! I enquired about the vegan cheese and the attentive waiter knew where it was sourced and gave me pointers on where to get it. So, the staff know about their food, which is always great to see.
For my main, I had the Blanquette De Protéines. When the 3 components are combined, it tastes great. The meat substitute could have fooled me if I wasn’t vegan. Very tasty, would recommend.
For dessert, I had the Gourmet Coffee. 3 mini desserts, with custard and an espresso coffee. I had the crème brûlée, chocolate cake and a crumble. Really, I wanted the crème brûlée. But, wanted to try more. If you’re only visiting once, order the Gourmet Coffee. It was a treat!
I’m only in Paris for a week and wanted to try some vegan French cuisine. Which, I was struggling to find. So, I appreciate the experience.
Very welcoming and lovely staff. Keep up the great work.

Overall the food is well prepared. However, not the flavors you would expect. Vegan onion soup is unique. We got the daily special saitan steak. It was quite a bit of gluten on that dish. But I think most customers enjoyed their meals.

I had the seitan bourguignon with Potato and it was absolutely delicious I really enjoyed it! The staff were kind and patient with me and the food was great. I really enjoyed the food I ordered I got the plant soda and it was ok it was not very sweet but to be honest I’m Not Sure what I was expecting otherwise I had an incredible time!

I left with some very mixed emotions after dining here. For a three Michelin star restaurant with a lot of history, I was ultimately disappointed.
Food: The food was beautiful but often lacked crucial elements. You could tell how much care and technique were poured into some very amazing dishes. The star of my tasting menu was the langoustine. The dish had an incredible sauce with a hint of curry which complimented the protein in an adventurous way. I was a big fan of the added texture from the crispy wafer but was not impressed by the bland spinach base. The sea bass was a stunner with its presentation, a truly luxurious dish. It played on some very classic techniques that had been upscaled to perfection. I would return to this restaurant for this dish alone if not for the chicken. I had such high hopes for the chicken but the breast was bland and dry. Even worse, the chicken drumstick was raw. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I tasted the piece to confirm my suspicions. Cold and rubbery, a complete failure.
Service: the service way good overall, but there were too many hiccups. The staff accommodated us nicely as we arrived around 5-10 minutes early. Everyone was very friendly. However, it was very weird as the wait staff just stood there and stared at us. During the service there were many awkward disturbances, continuous bumping of our chairs, knocking our glasses, dropping a metal pan in a very quiet room. One too many to go unnoticed.
For the special birthday event, the staff prepared a very lovely dessert which was excellent.
Ambiance: It was creepy. There was no background music at all so we had to whisper for the majority of our dinner. I could hear the other patrons conversations like they were sitting right next to me. As mentioned previously, the wait staff staring at me while I ate was very unnerving.
Overall: I left with the feeling of unfulfilled desire for excellence. I had such high hopes going in but left wanting much more. I would return to L'Ambroise for certain aspects but they need to clean up their act if they want to impress.

L’Ambroisie is a traditional French restaurant that has maintained three Michelin stars for more than thirty years. it's one of the most traditional three-stars in the world. The name "L'Ambroisie" comes from Greek mythology and means both "food for gods”.
No tasting menu, a la carte only and menu is only in French. The dining philosophy is traditional a la carte with three to four courses of luxurious food served in generous portions.
The food is classic yet creative and delicious. The chocolate tart was insane. It had been on the menu for 36 consecutive years.

A small but very welcoming place to have American dinner.
A very fluke that our waiter forgot my milk for my coffee but totally understandable as the place was really busy and he was on his own I believe.
Overall our family would highly recommend this place if your looking for English speaking breakfast and have a usual American breakfast

Very nice atmosphere and nice service staff!
The Homemade Ice Tea was perfect, since it was not sweet and the food was delicious :)
Even through Chef Mike ( the microwave ) made the pecan pie, it was very delicious

The food was very good. It was a great representation of an American breakfast. Fluffy pancakes, American-style bacon, and a New York type of bagel. The "Bottomless Mug o' Joe" tasted just like American diner coffee (well, okay, better than that). When you want a real American (not British) breakfast, this is the place. The staff was friendly as I recall, but frankly I was too busy devouring my scrambled eggs and cheese to notice. I do remember that the service was quick.

my little heaven on earth in Paris. been here twice and seriously if you’re looking for a typical american brunch, THIS is the place to go! during the weekends it can get busy between 11-2pm but if you come before or after the rush it’s much better!! Ivana, our waitress was so fun and kind, just really nice service and great decor :)

I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is amazing. And The staff members were welcoming and helpful. The food was authentic and tasteful. I had the fried shrimps on a bed of chopped vegetables, the shrimp was excellent but I found the taste was too vinegary coz the capers are pickled already so high acidity and salt, then they also added pickled apples. So I suggest either the apples of the capers. Or they could replace the capers with green black peppers that are green n fresh. We also had the fish that was beautifully presented, opened and stuffed with the vegetables. Same thing the olives in their were picked so they were high on salt and acidity and that strong flavor was dominant over the delicious sea bass and the delicate vegetables. I also had a special dessert for the first time in my life I had eggplants for dessert !!!! Yes it was made into jam with orange peel and a ball of ricotta cheese to balance it off, very sweet but good.

I don't have a bad word to say on our experience in this wonderful restaurant. The staff was agreeable, very outgoing, taking the time to choose the wine with us. The food was excellent, i specifically recommend the Milanese chop. The decor is an elegant mix between "vieux paris" and chic Italian.

Our young waitress ran all the way up rue St Paul to give back a handbag left behind; full marks! Reliable food, but the menu no longer changes fortnightly, it seems. The Corleone is truly special and still available (but not on the Monday night we were there, alas). Interior has been re-done quite well, but the ancient furniture provided a more intimate atmosphere.

This place is so good! The food was spot on - French onion soup was so delicious. Their housemate foie gras pate was amazing - we ate there twice and got it both times. We've had the duck breast - cooked to perfection, Moules Frites - huge bowl and the fries were so so crispy, Deviled Eggs - my friend liked them! The owners were so friendly and nice, they didn't rush us and just let people enjoy their time slowly. Definitely coming here again the next time I'm in Paris!

A very cozy cafe with a large number of seating places, so even if we had to wait outside, it was very short. And it was definitely worth it!
We ordered salt pies, omelet, tea, and pastries. Everything was very delicious! The products were fresh, the pies were hot, and the aroma and taste of tea were delightful.
The waiters were kind and friendly with us, they offered to replace the products that were not available in the kitchen.
But what surprised us the most were the cakes! Just look at this huge layer of meringue on the lemon tart!! We couldn't finish it between the two of us! So, we had it takeout. As a bonus, we not only had a tasty lunch but also we had dessert for dinner at home 😋
Kateryna Stepanova - in the last week
The concept here is to arrive with a big appetite, ready to indulge in a variety of cakes and desserts – and that's exactly what I did. Renowned for its tea, this place often has long queues, but it's definitely worth the wait. Deciding on which cake to choose can be a real challenge, so I ended up ordering three! the crumble, the renowned lemon meringue tart, and the cake of the day. Of the three, my absolute favourite was the crumble, no contest.
Gino Haddad - a month ago
Very busy and crowded and loud. Lemon tart is a bit expensive, and not even a wow taste. The tea and coffee is just alright. Some of the seating is not really good. Feel like in the middle of some busy passageway, and unfortunately got accidentally hit by the staff when seated…not recommended….

Went there for the tea and cake, the place is beautifully eclectic with lots of details to enjoy. There is a nice tea selection and a display of cakes. I really enjoyed the over-the-top tarte au citron meringuée which went well with vanilla black tea. The staff members are nice and helpful. I’d love to go back for brunch

Delicious home baked cakes- highly recommend the white chocolate, dark chocolate and raspberry. Also the pear and chocolate tart. Melt in the mouth croissants. Too much to choose from. Will definitely be back if ever in Paris.

We came over from Australia in August 2023 and visited here to celebrate our first time in Paris. I have been meaning to write a review finally got to it.
The lovely waitresses made our visit absolutely memorable. We had a fantastic night. Our waitress has an absolute way with people. She made us laugh all night. I had even asked her if she minded singing Happy Birthday in French for my niece, so I could send it to her on my phone. I know it sounds silly, but she did not mind at all and my niece was so excited, Thank you!.
We ordered a large seafood platter to share. It was delicious. The food is so fresh. We were spoilt for choice and there were some great cocktails as well. I even had desert a beautiful crème brûlée.
If there's one place you must go to on your Paris visit it is this beautiful restaurant. Please don't miss out. We loved it here we love Paris and endeavour to return soon.
Thank you.

Ha ha! Had a blast at this place. They have a full seafood counter where you can buy and take away to cook at home, or a restaurant where you can sit and eat. We ate in and had so much fun with the wait staff. While we were in Paris we had 3 different seafood towers and this was by far the best. The bar tender and waitress really made the experience!!! All the seafood was right off the boat that day, and could not have been more fresh. We went with an upgraded version of the seafood tower for 2, and that was plenty of food. The oysters and pink shrimp from Madagascar were the stars of the night, but everything was fantastic. The upgrade was to add a whole spiny lobster which to be honest was not as sweet as it is in San Diego when we usually have it. The tower we had came with small gray shrimp you eat whole, and lightly boiled cockles that were salty and perfect. We had a bottle of champagne and it really made the whole experience perfect. If you are going to eat seafood only once in Paris this is the only place to go!!!!
Tim Kraska - 5 months ago
It has great selection of seafood, especially oysters on half shell. We eat here every time we are in Paris. We haven't had any plates that we weren't pleased with and the wait staff is always lively and friendly. Great laid back setting with popular music in the background. The seafood tower is always great! They also have several fish dishes. The salmon never disappoints. If you are looking for a simple laid back trendy spot for seafood this is it. Prices are fair and the seafood is fresh.

Cozy little crêperie in le marais. We tried the galette complete and francs-bourgeois. Both were delicious with the galette complete being much richer in flavor. While the francs-bourgeois was good, it lacked some flavor in comparison. In terms of the quality of the galette itself, both were very good. The place can feel a little crammed and the service is understandably slow but overall I would recommend it if you want to have a good crêpe/galette while being seated

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Paris! They only bring red quality salmon and their prices are medium (almost the same with a normal sushi place in the city).
Almost everything in the menu is excellent, but I highly recommend the Shake and Shake Nagi. I also love the edamame, and in this place they really taste like the original Japanese ones. As a soft drink I recommend the green tea without sugar or if it’s in the winter the hot green tea (excellent!). For desert you need to the mochi (the one with green tea!)! Photos with all these attached.
Location is excellent, just next to Hôtel de Ville and close to Notre Dame, which makes it a very good place to stop for lunch or dinner, in between tourist activities.
Since the size of the restaurant is quite small (around 36-40 places) their interior design is simple and clean with many Japanese like ornaments.
I also attached photos of the menu (23.06.2019).
Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌

Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu!
