What a fantastic place inside Musée d'Orsay! The Musée d'Orsay Restaurant is a stunning tribute to French culture inside the former train station.
While exploring the museum, we wanted to take a break and stumbled upon this eatery. We decided to give it a try, and we loved it! We ordered a simple dessert with some refreshments, and they were perfect. This restaurant is adorned with frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant, which make it awe-inspiring; chandeliers on the painted ceiling and gilding gave us a unique and unforgettable experience.

Fantastic! We went there on Thursday night with the late opening ticket. The main course, sea bass, is delicious, and the price is reasonable. The champagne and dessert are also good. The waiter is professional and friendly. This is going to be my must-visit whenever I visit Paris!

Went on Thursday, when the museum is open until 10pm, so we decided to stay for dinner. Comparing the menu of the restaurant with the one of the coffee shop, the prices were about 10€ higher. Just for the location in our opinion it was worth it.
We got the filet with Anna potatoes, the meat was tender and juicy, cooked on point (we asked for rare). We also ordered a bottle of red wine to go with it, and it was definitely enough for the two of us.
To end nicely we got the chocolate dessert (Eclair du chocolat) that was moist and flavorful.
The waiter was super friendly and nice, he made sure multiple times during dinner that we were good and happy with our dishes. At the end the price wasn’t too bad considering the location and the quality of the food. Recommended if you are staying for dinner.

Definitely worth going for lunch. Stunning room and fabulous service, just lower your expectations with the food. One of us had the cod which was nice, but the Caesar salad was not good, overly dressed no egg or bacon and just not good. But you do somewhat forget that as the room is so stunning and the staff are fabulous

You feel like a queen in her castle when you dine here. They don't accept reservations, and I recommend eating there around 11 or 11:30. We got right in, but there was a huge line when we left. We both had ravioli, and it was incredible. I had ice cream in this cool frozen glass cup, and my friend had a true French eclsir. Wonderful!!!

My absolute favourite place in all of Paris! Not only is this restaurant walking distance from Musee d'Orsay, the food and service is spectacular. They do a really good lunch offer where it costs less than 20 euros for an entree and main.
The sea bass with taragon cream was my favourite! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce went hand in hand with the fish. I also loved their chocolate fondant.

We loved this little restaurant. The food was warm and cozy and perfect for a rainy day in Paris. The staff were all polite, and the restaurant was a romantic nook.

The atmosphere was quiet. Food was phenomenal. Service was fast and courteous. Hidden gem if not for google Maps. I had octopus to start off, the steak(medium) which was scrumptious, mashed potatoes were delicious, and strawberry sorbet for dessert. Topped off with red wine.

Best food we had in France while on holiday fromAustralia. Try the escargot, really well done. Loved the atmosphere and great service. The ratatouille with the sea bass was amazing, and the chocolate moose was decadent and delicious. Not often a restaurant gets all 3 courses perfect.

Understated place of huge historical significance as a part of the polytechnique ecosystem. A marvelously simple menu executed to perfection. We were all pleased with this experience and recommend it vigorously. The price to quality ratio is a steal!

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

Lovely food but the owner must have trouble getting or training staff. Only 1 server plus receptionist. They were literally running through the dining room and were so stressed out. It was surreal to have good food with such nutty service.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and friendly and the food was amazing, this lovely little restaurant was right across the street from the apartment we’re staying at so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. We had the butter chicken, the chicken vindaloo, aloo ghobi, saffron rice and some stiff generously poured whiskey and cola.

Onion Bhajji was good. Other dishes were okay okay. However, when we second time since it was near by and everything closes soon, we went just 5-10 mins late. We weren’t given a seat. Cmon, have some courtesy to offer whatever little.
Sometimes strict policies can be deferred. My take.

Excellent meal and a lovely atmosphere. One of the nicest tikka masalas I've ever had. The Naan breads we're all amazing.

Outstanding. The Chicken tikka starter is some of the best Indian cuisine we have ever had. I'm not trying to be over the top. I'll eat anything and be happy. I was in Paris 2 weeks and came here several times. There is a lot of the alright food in Paris for over the top prices but this place was different and full of flavor. I would come here ever time in Paris. The tikka masala was good. Biryani rice was good. The butter chicken was great. Medium spice will leave you daring to try spicy. Spicy will get the sweat just about ready to start so unless you like hot things medium is perfect. The cheese naan is a great addition. You will walk away beyond satisfied. Sorry no pictures. Ate it too fast

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident. What a lucky find!
The vegetable samosas, garlic naan, murgh vindaloo, and Punjabi pilaf all were excellent. The service was terrific, and we Berry much enjoyed the evening.
A great find on the left bank.

Excellent experience the food is executed beautifully and menu is full of choices for every taste. The wine paring was very interesting and makes you discover unique wines. The atmosphere is a combination between very sophisticated in the dining room and very swanky vibe at the bar this makes Gaya very appealing for formal and less formal occasions.
One improvement point for me would be to have preset menu not just a la carte menu.

Almost everything was perfect, I loved my main and dessert, the wine choices were phenomenal and my girlfriend adored every course, I couldn't stand my starter (cold Jelly and fish for €48? No thank you), thankfully the rest was divine and the evening was wonderful

Food is disappointing: very (very) small portion, nothing interesting and sometimes not even good.
Wine list is interesting, atmosphere is really nice and the service amazing.
The price reflects how much a restaurant can be a business when using a name...

Incredible service, experience, and food. We had an amazing seafood experience for starters with some champagne and hope made bread with brown butter. Following, we had scallops, sea bass, and shrimp. WOW is all I can state. My favorite was the shrimp, it was incredible, slow cooked. Some amazing vanilla ice cream dessert and some apple pie. Incredible 🤌🤌😁

During our stay in Paris we visited Le Saint Germain more than once because it was located beside the place we were staying in. Couple of times we had coffee and desert. Once we visited for dinner: beef tartare and hamburger. My daughter said that was the best hamburger she had in a long time, the beef tartare was OK. The service was very good.

Little gem hidden in plain sight!
My wife and I were tired after our train ride in, and the restaurant our hotel recommended was fully booked for the evening. After walking around some, we found this restaurant on the corner and asked for a table.
The multi-lingual staff (especially Eugenio!) were more than willing to help us navigate the menu. The roast chicken, duck confit, and apple tart were all amazing; and there was a fair number of locals enjoying a late dinner with us tourists.
Visiting Paris has been on my wife’s bucket list, and eating here on a pandemic-delayed trip helped the trip start on the right foot.

I don’t know of another conveyor belt sushi place in Paris. Took my son for lunch and we had a blast. The fish was good, the service kind and the atmosphere fashionably modern. I’ll definitely be back with the kids. Thank you.

Needless to say, we’re really disappointed with all the dishes served. Nothing unique, nothing great and special about it. Very unexpected since we saw good ratings on this restaurant.
Ambience: 9/10
Service: 9/10
Food: 3.5/10
Wine: 9/10
We took the dégustation menu for dinner at 59€ per person, where the chef actually decides what to serve for the entire meal for all guests. (Which was a mistake to be frankly honest) — 2 petite versions of entrées, plats, and desserts at 59€ per person ~ not including the wine and drinks
The 2 entrées were sadly either under seasoned or blandly cold:
mushroom velouté - tastes like a normal mushroom soup, lacks salt and taste.
Veau with pecorino - not really a pleasing dish, feels like i ate airplane food
Plats:
Fish with black rice risotto and black garlic- this is the most decent dish we had that night. Pretty good, but not wow.
Volaille with mais purée and popcorn- this was a let-down. Most of our chicken was so dry, and the purée was just ok. Sauce has lack of flavor.
Dessert:
Chocolate fondant with hazelnut ice cream- best thing about this dish: the ice cream
Île flottante - we’ve had better. Again nothing special.
The only reason why i put 2 stars is for the service. Pleasant servers and always smiling.
But overall, it did not compensate our taste, experience and expectations on this restaurant, especially for the price.
It was our first and sadly it will also be our last visit here.

A hidden gem. One of my top five favorite resturants out of two weeks in Paris, ranking right up there with Mitchellin Star resturants. The food and drinks were all fantastic, and it was easy to get a fairly last minute reservation here.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. My party did the discovery (taste) menu and everything was perfect. Customer service was so friendly and helpful!
Jaeli Volmer - 3 months ago
We were a party of 7 and had a very nice and pleasant experience at the restaurant.
The server was prompt and present when needed and English for some of the party that needed it.
90% of the dishes we got were really good.
We steered clear of the tasting menu as there were some dishes we did not want and unfortunately in said menu you do not get the choice for what you will be served.
I wish it were possible to give half points as I’d really rate our experience at a 4.5. The octopus, cucumber, hummus soup and the tasting menu being “chef’s surprise” only are what hold me back from a 5 star review.

This is a very friendly neighborhood coffee shop run by locals who are very friendly and welcoming. I attended a language school next door and started my morning every day with delicious coffee and croissant, very fresh. Get there early, they always run out.. Their lunches are fantastic and the menus change everyday.. The only problem is that the seatings are always full.

Very quick and healthy option.
Ingredients quality is not the best but for a quick lunch it is OK and not too expensive for the surroundings.
However, anything on top of the salad is super expensive.
The choice of ingredients is OK, nothing exceptional compared to other salad bars but allows you a good variety in your salads.
