This isn’t our first visit to this restaurant, and it certainly won’t be our last. We always enjoy our time here, especially with their mouthwatering pizza and delicious pasta dishes. However, the Sangria was a letdown – it lacked the fruity flavor we expected and tasted more like red wine mixed with soda and ice. We won’t be ordering it again. Despite that, the service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We’ll happily return, but we’ll be avoiding the Sangria from now on.

Maybe it was recommended that it was the best pizza in Sydney before I came here, so I had too high expectations. It was not as delicious as I thought, but it was not bad. My favorite was the tropical juice 🍹, which was very fresh and refreshing. In addition, the attitude of the waiters was very good. They were very patient even though we were not very proficient in English. However, there was a problem that the first recommended dish shown on Google Maps was chicken funghi pizza, but the first picture was not this pizza, which might cause some misunderstandings for foreigners like me. By the way, the taste of this pizza is very similar to that of a Chinese soda cracker called Taiping with onion flavor. When we left, we asked the waiter for the most recommended pizza and packed two more, hoping that it would taste good this time. 中国人别点甜品,尤其是提拉米苏!!!真的太甜了啊啊啊啊啊啊啊。

We were greeted by very friendly waiters. They were genuinely happy to serve us, and looked very happy on their job.
We were treated with a gastronomic experience. I had one of the best woodfire pizza ever. The chicken was also cooked to perfection, not dry, not chewy.
My kid enjoyed her spaghetti and the waiter entertained her. She was very happy that day and kept reminiscing on how polite and cheerful the waiters were.

This place is really great, it’s a great experience dining here. Foods were amazing, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and drinks and wonderful desserts. The ambience is very charming. Staffs are all nice and very friendly. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Would love to come back here again and again.

Stepping off the bustling streets of Sydney and into Macchiato was like stepping into a warm Italian hug. The exposed brick walls and soft lighting gave the place a rustic-chic vibe, and the aroma of freshly baked pizzas and roasted coffee instantly had my stomach grumbling.
I opted for the classic Margherita pizza, and it was pure perfection. The wood-fired crust was thin and crispy, yet held its own against the generous toppings of tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, and the char from the wood fire added a smoky depth that was simply divine.
I couldn't resist ending my meal with a cup of their house-roasted coffee. Rich and smooth, it was the perfect way to cleanse the palate and leave me feeling satisfied and happy.
Overall, Macchiato exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger and savor every moment, and I can't wait to go back and try their other pizzas and pastas.

This is my first visit to this place. We had the sweet and sour tofu, and claypot egg plant. The sweet and sour tofu is amazing, and the egg plant is perfectly cooked so it wasn't too hard or soggy.
The service is very friendly and customers turnaround are relatively quick.
Price wise it is on the upper end side compared to non-vegetarian based dish, but if you're after a good vegetarian meal this is a great place! Definitely coming back.

Amazing food. Cozy gateway in the middle of CBD. The staff is very friendly as well. 120% recommend if you’re looking for Asian/Veggie options.

Conveniently located a few minutes' walk from Town Hall Station and Museum Station. One of the few veg*n F&Bs opened at night and pretty crowded each time I visited. Chinese (specifically Taiwanese) allium-free, alchohol-free, and MSG-free vegetarian restaurant; almost all vegan except for a few dishes with honey. Hope they can convert to becoming fully vegan! The entrees were a bit of a hit or miss for me, but the main dishes I tried were great (not oily either). The menu was huge, some of which contained soy or seitan mock meats, and some of which featured tofu and tempeh. Gluten-free options were also labelled.

The quality of Myung Jang and Obaltan has declined. We ordered seafood pancakes, bibimbap, and pork ribs soup. Everything was alright, except for the doughy and thick pancakes. The service was good.

Feb 2022: Good Korean BBQ! Excellent fried chicken. Can't give 5 stars as BBQ should be charcoal, not gas. But I'd recommend it otherwise!

Excellent Korean BBQ! Staff are friendly and the seafood pancake and premium chuck eye roll are superb!

The closing time was coming, most of customers were there. The menu is so good ! But compared to general Korean restaurants , it’s nothing to have speciality.

When it comes to Korean barbecue, the portion is huge here and veggies are fresh. For lunch menu, overall their food is delicious. Just not happy with their ordering process. Wish they go back to a person taking orders.

One of best Italian at CBD.
The service at this restaurant was similar to what I experienced in Italy, with refined hospitality. It's a traditional Italian-style service.
Moreover, just like in Italy, the carpaccio served here is fresh and not heavily dressed. You can enjoy carpaccio here just like the authentic one in Italy.

Exceptional food and service, a proper fine dining experience. Local ingredients used. The place is well maintained and taken care of, and feels like a proper Italian fine dining place (memories of movies like Godfather). Two course and three course at 65 and 75 which was reasonable.

This is truly one of the best restaurants in Sydney. The food was so amazing and the service top notch. Our waiter Peter was so attentive and kind and made our experience memorable. It was so nice to be taken care of by a professional. We started with the calamari and had the barramundi fish for our main dishes. Both were exceptional. This restaurant should not be missed when in Sydney. We will be back very soon.

We arrived here at about 4pm on a weekday and it was a little busy, however by 5pm the place was buzzing with so many people indicating just how popular this place is.
Upon the upstairs area opening at 5pm we decided to move on upstairs which was a great decision. A little more comfortable if deciding to eat here.
The atmosphere was great, and the options of food were your usual pub grub. We ordered the Schnitty Stacker which the mushy peas was the highlight.

Is it a haunted scottich castle ? Because the bartender upstairs had lost HER smile somewhere and seemed to be annoyed. It was my 1st visit, and when I heard latin music, I expected a friendly welcome (hospitality). Furthermore, there was a small dried lime and 4 leaves of mint at the top of my mojito only ( nothing inside).
I don't recommend it.
Otherwise, the falafels were good (the chips were too salty🤷🏽♀️),Nice server (3 * thanks to him) and Nice place.

Really good pub to eat at, the only issue is you can't pay with cash, and you can't split the bill
The food was really good and the service time was good for ordering food at 8pm45

What a hidden gem! We enjoyed a delicious dinner of Greek classics, opting for some a la carte items that were both authentic and tasty. Nostalgia with fond favourites that did not disappoint! Our host Theo was welcoming, attentive and his tremendous service added to the wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

We had a delicious lunch for three people. We did make a reservation - perhaps not needed for a Tuesday as there was a lot of sitting available even for walk-ins. We do recommend this place if you are looking for a Greek cuisine restaurant.

Loved the chicken, egg, and lemon (soup of the day) as well as the entree which was pita bread and roe dip.
The meats were cooked beautifully from the mains, though the chips could of been more golden and crunchier.
Attentive service, lovely atmosphere!

A decent restaurant with Greek origins. They were kind and relatively fast in service. The quality of food was really good. The could improve the vibe in terms of background noise with some ambient music and further tables.

It was a cold Wednesday night when my nephew and I went here. We ordered the Diethnes Special to see if it was the same as when I went here in the 80's. They even served Crown Lager l. The experience was basically exactly the same as it was back in the day. Great to see consistency lives at Diethnes.

Star Bar has moved on so much from its Planet Hollywood days. Food, drinks and deco improved so much. Pizzas are especially good here but the snacks and small dishes not as much. Popcorn chicken, fish n chips and salt n pepper calamari, bread n dips were average but "I'll Be Back" for the pizzas and beers.

By far, one of the best pubs I have been to in a long time. This place has it all! Plenty of pool tables, amazing food, multiple bars, a huge sports screen, a comedy store, a weird wax model display with Terminator and I think a naked Stallone.....? And good cheap drinks!
Spread out over three levels they can facilitate for a lot of people, and the high ceilings upstairs give an open and chilled feel.
I can't truly express how much I enjoyed this place. Will definitely be returning!

$10.50 steak cook to perfection. The cuts is so tender and juicy. The down side is we were there around 530 and there is already after crowd. Waited for 45min for our steak. Go earlier than the crowds or just go after dinner peak.
