Absolutely loved this hotel! The location was so perfect, literally steps to the Charing Cross tube station. The staff were so kind and housekeeping was so attentive and thorough. The room itself was nice, with comfy beds and a wonderful bathroom/shower. The only thing I can think of that might be an issue is that at night you can hear the trains running underground. If you are a light sleeper could be an issue. I will definitely be coming back!

Incredible hotel, amazing location, so clean and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Third stay for me and my family and every time is better than the one before. The mattresses and pillows are so comfortable, much needed after a full day exploring London. The breakfast is that of a 5 star hotel. The highlight? Antonio at this hotel's wonderful bar! He makes the best cocktails in London! For sure! Can't wait to return!

Five star review! The location of this hotel was perfect. Central to everything and a tube station steps away.
The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed in the family suite and it exceeded our expectations as did the housekeeping services.
I highly recommend staying here if visiting London.

Ideal location for a west end show visit. We were given a free room upgrade upon checking in and the room was lovely and quiet. All staff were extremely polite and would always greet you walking past. The breakfast was superb. Huge selection and quality was very high, exceeded expectations. Will definitely make this our hotel for future trips into London!

We stayed for 2 nights as family of 3 and would recommend the Clermont. The location is perfect right next to tube, train station and Trafalgar Square.
The hotel itself is lovely, immaculately clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room with a sofa bed for our 10 year old. The room was spacious, clean, great amenities (daughter particularly liked the free sweets) and plenty of room for all of us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and had a great night's sleep. The sofa bed was also very comfortable for my daughter (the same cannot be said for others in London hotels we have experienced).
We were on the 4th floor and can hear the rumble of trains from the station but it didn't hinder our stay or our sleep.
We would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the meal here in a comfortable and contemporary yet still period feeling venue. Cocktails were great but a slightly limited selection. The food had great portions and was perfect in every way and the waiter was friendly and offered great menu advice.

I had a wonderful experience at Boyd's Grill & Wine Bar. The waiter was so attentive even though the restaurant was short staffed on the night I dined there. Service was fast despite that! Food was tasty. Decor and ambiance were noteworthy.

Lovely place to go for a meal and a drink. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is great too. The staff is very helpful and the place is never very full so it's great if you don't know where to go but want a good meal. They have a great wine selection too. I see a lot of people having dinner here before going to see a show. Highly recommended

Attendance from waiters was very good. We had dinner here on a Thursday evening. It was very quiet. Food was ok for it being a hotel restaurant.

Wonderful staff, just disappointing portions. I ordered cottage pie and it looked like a starter in a small serving bowl. I thought it was embarrassing.

A novel pub that is set on a boat moored onto the river Thames. There is not a lot of seating and it is difficult to get a spot. Service is also quite slow when it is busy taking almost 15 minutes to get served. Overall this is a nice experience and a fun pub to visit in London, but not one when you are pushed for time.

Great views and perfect spot for a good view. Prime location with the London eye on the background. Food is ridiculously overpriced - £14 for a portion of nachos with barely no cheese or sauces, staff seem pissed off as they barely look at you. Good for a pit stop for toilets and pictures.

Khaled is an amazing server. The little details matter to us and when a window seat opened up, he came over and asked us if we’d like to move to it. That gesture made our dining experience even better. And the food was amazing. We’ll be back every time we visit London. Great date night.

Today, our family rendezvoused at Sherlock Holmes, and what an unforgettable experience it was! Nestled in a bustling area, this establishment boasts a vibrant ambiance, with a bar and seating on the first floor and additional dining space on the second. Everywhere you look, the place is adorned with captivating pictures and stylish furniture, creating an atmosphere that's both cozy and chic.
Our server truly went above and beyond, delivering impeccable service that complemented our delightful meal perfectly. From start to finish, every dish was a culinary masterpiece, leaving us all thoroughly satisfied.
One of the highlights of our visit was the thoughtful gesture of receiving a cool mug packed in a box to take back home. It's rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and this unexpected gift left a lasting impression on us.
As Americans visiting from the USA, discovering Sherlock Holmes was a treat, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Whether you're seeking a casual drink with friends or a memorable dining experience, this place has it all. Do yourself a favor and seek out this gem—you won't be disappointed!

Been here several times and it's always a pleasure. Had a great evening again, with the best vegan mushroom chili, Fish and Chips, cake and a tasty ginger beer! Thanks to the wonderful and friendly owner Nat and her sister Jo, making guests feel so welcome and always take some time for a nice chat, though they have much to do, as the Pub is quite full. See you again soon:-)

Sherlock Holmes pub is a definite must see while in London, especially if you’re a fan of this fictional character. The pub is themed in the Victorian era and has an atmosphere and feel that throws you back in time. The pub is downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. As you ascend the stairs be sure to look to your right at the recreated room of Sherlock Holmes’ famous Baker Street flat. It contains memorabilia from the show and is nice to look at.
If you plan to have dinner here, I highly recommend making a reservation. Unfortunately it was crowded during our visit and we were unable to get a table. However, we thoroughly enjoyed having drinks downstairs with friends.
The pub is located between the Embankment and Charing Cross tube stations which is also near many London attractions including Trafalgar Square. A definite must see!

It is the only pub divided into two parts on either side of the street. And I think that's what makes this place such a cool atmosphere. A very nice and quiet traditional London pub with good food and a selection of beer.

For the location and considering what else is around, this place is a nice spot for a break. A cozy place with quick service and affordable prices.
The triple cooked fries were perfect, but the cold scotch egg was a bit over and not too fresh. Still, it's a great spot for a beer and snacks.

went to have a festive meal, it was quite empty at 1pm, the service from the waitress was very good. the starter was OK, bread was nice, main was very good and the dessert was nice, the coffee was good as well.

Our meal here was absolutely stunning and the service was phenomenal. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and did not leave disappointed! We tried the house cured salmon, the ricotta and pine nut ravioli, the pork tenderloin, and the veal, as well as some wine. Everything was exceptional, from the sourdough that came out with an artichoke cream and decadent salted butter, all the way through the mains and the dessert selections offered. There was a small hiccup with the side not arriving with our mains (which wasn’t an issue to begin with.) and our server removed the charge without even being asked. I would return here in a heartbeat and wish to thank all of the staff for making our first meal in London and our wedding anniversary special, and certainly a meal to remember!

Went to Northall resturant for a business dinner. Great fine dinning resturant with prices to match, but definetly worth it!
For starters we had bread with butter and I had Hand Cut Lake District Beef Tartare - without a doubt one of the best tartares I had in while. Thus was followed by the Grilled Iberico Pork Loin, cooked medium and moist with mash potatos.
For dessert an amazing merengue and stramberry dessert.
Wines were also great, in par with the quality of the resturant.
For business or special events this is the resturant to go.

Great atmosphere. The staff are very polite and diligent. They had a good kids menu too for children under 12 years old. We went for my wife’s birthday and they brought out a nice surprise dessert which was very sweet of them. The bar was also very trendy and had a good selection of cocktails and mocktails. Would definitely go there again and try more dishes. Set menu was decently priced too which I had, while my wife selected from the a la carte menu.

One of our favorite places for food in Westminster. It's usually quite busy, so be prepared to possibly wait a few minutes for a table. It's definitely worth the wait though. Service is quick and food is topnotch. Their fish and chips are some of the best and the steak and ale pie is delicious as well.

A busy pub at the north end of Whitehall, a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square. Another pub in the Greene King Stable, and a good one too! There is plenty of room being eagerly taken up by the London visitors, all enjoying themselves it appears. Great service and a jolly atmosphere. Plenty of choice both keg and cask, including TT Landlord. Downstairs for more seating. A great place.

Pizza Express mains are always great, no complaint. The service here needs some improvement; staff don't want to help, don't want to make eye contact, and they seem only concerned with strictly their own tables and, I guess, some kind of commissions system. The wrong order was brought out too, and we had to pay extra due to the waiting staff not understanding our order. Nevertheless, it's Pizza Express, so it's still great.

You always know what you're going to get with pizza express. The pizzas were tasty and the dough balls were delicious. Great location and nice big, spaced out restaurant. I've taken a star off because the service was very slow, even though there weren't that busy. Our dough balls were also Luke warm by the time they arrived.

Against my better judgement we decided to visit Pizza Hut after a viewing of the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, as pizza seemed appropriate and we hoped to double up on some early 90s nostalgia - back to a time when Pizza Hut dominated the UK pizza scene with it's thick oily bases before better alternatives arrived.
We had to queue for a short while surprisingly, it was early in the evening so I assume people were looking for a quick and easy pre-theatre meal.
We were unfortunately sat in the gloomy windowless downstairs area, on a tiny table stuck between a till point and a wall adorned with ancient peeling artwork of pizza-themed super heroes. The table was so wobbly we had to put a total of three napkins under to steady it.
Waiting staff were fast but impersonal, with ordering done via a QR code and online menu as though we were back in pandemic times. Everything felt geared to turning over tables as quickly as possible.
Once we'd ordered the waiter brought glasses for our self-serve drinks and they were absolutely disgusting - covered in fingerprints, smears and lip marks, as though they hadn't been washed in days. I asked for cleaner glasses but the ones we received weren't much better.
The infamous salad bar was just as you remember it, tastes have changed but it has not. The produce was of an extremely low quality - browning lettuce, limp cucumber and the blandest tomatoes I've ever tasted - I've had tap water with more flavour.
The pizza itself was just as I remembered for better or worse - thick, doughy, oily base and a reasonable amount of cheese and toppings.
I found the prices startling, around £30 for a large pizza and £13 for a small, medium no longer an option.
The atmosphere was abysmal - the couple behind us were having an extremely unpleasant argument during which he told her to 'sit down or I'll drag you down', not the restaurant's fault - unless the flaccid salad had put them in such a foul mood that they had resorted to verbally busing each other.
It's hard to find much to recommend about the the Hut - the pizza was edible but you'd be better off at one of the many other pizza restaurants in the area.
Unfortunately as the queue showed there will never be a shortage of tourists and theatre-goers who don't know any better to keep the place churning out overpriced, below average, mass-produced junk food.
