Warm atmosphere
Great service
Only if they had real ice cream instead of the socialist vegan ice cream…
Love the place, will certainly come back, but the ice cream…
Oh the mulled wine is fantastic.
🚽 🚨clean facilities. Appreciate the change table is put in the disable bathroom, just so dad can be helpful as well.

I've visited The Flask a number of times and the food is consistently great, well done the chefs!
Came here this afternoon for the husband's birthday lunch so we feasted on 3 courses😎 Each course was excellent: a smokey cauliflower soup, sausage roll, rainbow trout with samphire and delicious buttery potatoes, medium rare steak and a stunning flour-free chocolate cake to share for dessert.
The serving staff were as good as always, the regular lady with good humour and good tattoos, and a young friendly lass in blue top.
Dog friendly which is a plus and a great atmosphere.

Tucked away along a side pedestrian street we found The Flask. An old historic pub untouched by modern pub Glam so it's comfortable scruff meets Southwark style in Hampstead.
Was popular lunchtime and many enjoying quite a varied menu of twist on traditional pub grub.
The Manager went out of his way to welcome us (to whom we thank) and showed us to our reserved tables which were comfortable and spacious.
We looked for beers from this Youngs Pub. Five Points Pale Ale at £6.40 a pint was probably the pick! Well Cellared, Fresh & Hoppy at 4.5% and a local East London Hackney Brewery too. Others in our party took the Youngs Original Ale at £5:60 one had the Youngs Special.
(Five Points Brewery looks worth a visit if this Pale Ale is a standard to be judged by)
Given a busy town center pub there might have been another offering to make it special but three real ales is ok.
Food took a little while but looking at the presentation and range of pub grub was worth waiting for. The only comment heard was the mustard served as "not nice" but that's hardly an issue and the burgers were stacked high and delicious.
Gents Loos were too small for such a busy pub but ok and quite clean. Not much creative thought here but adequate.
We all enjoyed our visit and a firm return to try more on the menu is certain. Thanks to the team at The Flask

Lovely pub in Hampstead! Delicious roast, lovely ambience and very friendly staff. Pricey food but fair for London.

Has to be the best pub for a Sunday roast lunch. A friend had to book the table a few weeks in advance but boy was it worth it. Amazing super friendly and inviting staff. From the host to the waitress I have never felt more welcome in a place. Obviously the roasts are great, but I must say to also leave space for the desserts. They are not your standard pub desserts. Next level in taste, and quality.

Came here for a Sunday roast at 12:15
The pub is a beautiful building with lots of cosy rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
For starters we had the salmon gravalx and beef dripping brioche with nduja mayo. Salmon was delicious and I could not fault anything from the dish. Would maybe like the nduja mayo to have a little stronger nduja flavour.
For mains I ordered the roast beef and my partner had the pork.
The roast beef was cooked beautifully with it being super tender and flavoursome (they definitely don't skip on the quality of meat here)
The roast pork on the otherhand was my main disappointment as it was very dry and overcooked. There was minimal crackling and near to no fat for moisture.
All the roasts came with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, cavelo Nero (black cabbage) carrots, parsnips and of course gravy. I was impressed with the variety of veg here.
I'm not always a huge fan of cauliflower cheese but this was delicious. The Yorkshire pudding had a lovely soft bottom with crispy tops.
The roast potatoes did look a little sad at first as they were very pale and I was worried that this may be another roast where the potatoes let the meal down but (Big But) they had so much flavour that I wanted so many more.
All the veg was cooked superbly
The wine selection was good and we enjoyed a bottle with our meal.
Service was lovely and the waitresses were extremely polite
Overall even with the upsetting pork I will still highly recommend and me and my fiancee had a wonderful time. Would recommend just maybe don't order the pork.

Service is great, cocktails & wine are good. The food was surprisingly underwhelming.
We'd booked for a late afternoon Sunday Roast, & definitely recommend booking as it was packed! I love the vibe here - such a buzzing energy of groups of friends, couples, families. It's a great place to finish off a walk around Hampstead Heath. We sipped cocktails watching the sun set in the little terraced nook before venturing into the dining area for the roast.
For starters, we sampled the beef fat brisket brioche with nduja, which was severely lacking in flavour and disappointly forgettable. The pumpkin velouté was light & flavourful but also lacking in something that made us feel disappointed.
We all had the beef for our Sunday roast (asked medium rare) which was somewhat tough. Gravy lacked flavour, Yorkshires were ok, the quintessential roast potatoes were tasty but not crispy in the slightest and parboiled at best. Stand-out was the veg, however, and I don't think we've had a better carrot!
The atmosphere, wine, & everything else was what made this is a great afternoon but the roast was nothing to revisit and apart from the carrots, I would not recommend.

Great. A lovely British pub, serving traditional food — all of that in one of the greatest parts of London. The place makes you feel home in a minute, the food gives you even more goose bumps. Simply great, with the fish & chips a proper classic .. comes with a light batter, pea chutney and sauce tartare. And is a must have if you’re visiting Britain. The chicken was a great choice, too. And so were the desserts we enjoyed. Service was super friendly, would recommend it any day.

Very good Fuller's pub about 5 minutes (steep uphill!) walk from Hampstead Underground Station. Three cask beers on handpump when we visited. A few covered seats outside.
The pub, which was built in about 1797, is Grade II-listed and is on the Campaign for Real Ale's London Regional Inventory of historic pub interiors.
Very busy on the Sunday afternoon we visited, primarily with diners.

I really liked my food, and staff were very welcoming.
I only deducted one star because the place is too dark, this was hurting my eyes actually.
Also, even though I really like that I can see the chefs cooking the food, when I was thereI could see a member of restaurant in sport wear who was making food in the kitchen area for himself and I saw him licking the spoon he used for cooking, this was really off putting.

Really great experience when going for baby cinema. The cinema is beautiful and very clean! It is not great for buggies, no lifts and there are a few staircases. Having said that, the staff are really friendly and helpful with the buggy if you need.

Went there this week. Not been to the hampstead location in a while. Did at 1515 movie very quite which was surprising. Had sofa snd armchairs in the down stairs movie room. When you enter head to the bar area to check in.
Ordered food which is delivered to your table.
We ordered some hot food which did take a while been quite it surprised me this is my only complaint. Staff did apologize and made up for it.
My son had the vegan hotdog and loved it. Coffee is great quality and drinks selection. Kids also had the oreo milkshakes which went down a treat.
Would I return 100% and staff where excellent to make this choice.

Mentioned as one of Kate Moses favourite places on social media, we booked out a lunch ( it only lasts for 2-ish hours ).
The restaurant is small, yet warm and has an authentic feel. The menu is varied and has lots of options for both veggies and meat eaters ( though veggies beware you could be sat next to some meat at the bar.) The sushi was exquisite, as was the tofu. The chicken katsu was the most succulent and delicious version of the meal we had ever had, and is enough for a return visit on its own.
Santa Bernate - a month ago
I approved both the service and atmosphere of this beautiful Japanese style restaurant, but the food there was really really disappointing. We initially were impressed by the authentic look of the restaurant, it came out that the food isn’t making it up.
1. The rice roll - the seaweed paper is SOFT and you have to eat almost all the rice to get to the salmon.
2. The sushi roll - i didn’t take pictures of this but the rice is warm… and it definitely doesnt taste better than even Wasabi to be priced at that.
3. Skewers - these are good! Indeed! But this is the only one good dish among all we’ve ordered
4. Soba - I understand we ordered cold soba but this is way beyond cold, it is FREEZING! The noodles themselves also dont look nor taste fresh. It’s like they’ve cooked it for very long and stored them in iced water… and the sauce is tasteless also…
5. And be ware of the sake tasting menu, it actually costs you more than ordering each sake shot on the tasting menu individually. One of the sake was run out and they replaced it with an even cheaper one, feels like scam but we made the choice, who’s there to blame.
So we paid £40 per person ended up craving for some more KFC. (Again, skewers were worth it, but that’s all)

Jin Kichi is a gem! Chanced upon it when we were walking around Hampstead and so glad we booked for lunch the following day.
It’s such an authentic joint with an extensive menu. Great prices for their lunch sets.
We ordered quite a bit. The sashimi was exquisitely presented. The yakitori set lunch hits the spot with the warm rice served. Daughter says the salmon onigiri is one the best she’s had.
Staff were very kind and very attentive. Space reminds us of dining in a Tokyo. It’s a special little place.

I've been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years! Last night we went to celebrate my sons 14th birthday and as always the food and the service were first class. It amazes me how consistent this restaurant has been over the years. We loved the fact that they surprised my son with dessert and a very loud rendition of Happy Birthday.
Quite simply an excellent Italian restaurant.
Special thanks to Allessandro and his father, who always look after us every time we go.

The service and ambience at Villa Bianca is always excellent. Tonight’s specials were delicious, fresh and inspired.
My starter of porcini mushroom bruschetta with truffle sauce was gorgeous, main course halibut so fresh & cooked perfectly. Dessert of apple strudel was divine. Wines too were great.
We will return

We had a slightly small table for our group of 6, but adequate and with a proper table cloth and napkins. Half had vegetarian meals. All were happy with their choices of starter and main course. We didn't have room for desert. Fresh, high quality ingredients, well prepared. Good service. Villa Bianca is a reliable restaurant and has been for many years.

This restaurant usually gets really busy so I would definitely recommend you book in advance!! Great menu with a variety of options whether you just want a nibble or are starving! Dim sum starters usually come with 3 pieces - scallop & prawn and the chicken kimchi are the best!! The crispy seabass & miso salmon are also very good for mains but they dont come with a side - you need to order separately - the coconut rice is exceptionally good!! Great cocktails as well (they also do a happy hour). Fast & efficient service & really friendly!! 100% recommend

Amazing coffee and Very beautiful looking food, but my dish came at room temperature which is less than ideal. The staff were very nice but also impossible to flag down (it took forever to get anyone’s attention), and they brought my and my partner’s dish 10 minutes apart. Note that i did start eating before him and it was already at room temperature.

It's a lovely place for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The setting is great for meeting friends or just dining alone. Very cosy, very warm feeling. Pretty well staffed as i came on a weekend. It can get very busy during lunch. They have a nice outdoor seating in the case of good weather to enjoy some sun. Love both breakfast, cakes and lunch specials here. The green shake and coffee are nice too. Will be back again!

Bought a cinnamon roll for take-away from this branch of Gail’s today. While it was nice and tasty after I’ve heated it up at home, it wouldn’t have been half as nice cold. Any cinnamon roll is delicious, in my opinion, but this one definitely loses to the other ones I’ve tried so far. The price is not cheap either and the granulated sugar coating is superfluous, I think

Its half retail shop and half restaurant with bar tables and takeaway. There are some tables outside too.
We ordered. Tofu curry with brown rice (13.5+1.5 for brown rice) and a chirashi bowl (18.8) slices of fish is much smaller than other restaurants and less variety. The taste is average and probably prices are affected by the area. Portions could be bigger.
Service charge of 12.5%

Really delightful and authentic sushi in the hearts of Hampstead, just a minute walk from the station! The ingredients are super fresh and seared salmon belly & seared scallop are very delicious. The miso soup is great too! Easily one of the best Japanese food in London :)
Brown rice version is available as well - really healthy!

Delicious Donburi served quicky! I was in a rush and had only 30 mins to eat, and the staff was polite and efficient.
Good location in the heart of Hampstead and you can grab ice cream for a dessert from the place across the street.
The only criticism would be that it’s too small. The seats are not very comfortable and it’s just too tight to fully enjoy anything else than a quick lunch.

I ordered from deliveroo and ordered some sea urchin nigiri, but the sea urchin was not very fresh, it was very slimy and had a bitter after taste which is a sign of going bad. At £8.20 each you would expect it to be fresher.. Overall alright sushi, but very highly priced.
