5 Star Rating Fantastic service, ambience, and food. The food itself is good, but it's really everything else that puts the experience over the top! It's a little pricey, but specially compared to other pubs, but in my opinion, completely worth it! I had: - Stilton mousse: fantastic! - Sausage and mash: good. The onion gravy had fantastic depth - Chocolate pot: dense, but silky

5 Star Rating I made this last minute booking through email and got the confirmation within minutes so that was a good start! Very responsive even over emails. The place is unpretentious but you get more than you would expect! I chose this place for a catch-up with my friends whom I haven’t seen for 10+ years! We were led downstairs which was a surprise at first but it was the perfect place and my friends really liked it too — what with it’s rustic charm and English food. The food was fantastic (we even had a vegetable dish on the house, thanks!). Service was superb and very patient with us when we delayed our order because one of my friends was running late. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come here again with my family next!

5 Star Rating My husband & I went to this restaurant to celebrate 🍾 my birthday. The servers were very polite and attentive with a warm, welcoming smile the moment we entered the restaurant. The food was full- flavoured, especially the crispy roast pork belly. We both truly enjoyed our meal. Giving us the most memorable experience. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 Star Rating Fancy traditional British restaurant where u indulge in the original English experience. Imagine enjoying traditional food where the sister of the Queen used to eat and enjoy her time with other royalty members! Such a vibe and a beautiful experience! Food is so good. Never in my life have i tried such butter and all the dishes are impeccable; not to mention the welcoming of the staff.. A must try experience whenever you are in London

5 Star Rating I can not say enough positive things about our dining experience at Maggie Jones. Our last night in London, we searched for a restaurant that had a British menu and beautiful atmosphere. We couldn't have picked a better place to cap off our week long stay! The staff were so accommodating and interactive, especially with our children. Thomas, our waiter, was especially personable and kind. He went out of his way to make our children (aged 8 and 4) feel welcome in a sophisticated atmosphere. The food was delicious. Best meals we've all had in a long time. Everything from the bread, the main course, to the dessert was exceptional. My picky children who only eat cheese pizza and chicken nuggets, ate all the chicken breast and chips that were prepared just for them. The decor and ambiance were warm and comforting. If I ever come back to London, I'll be sure to visit Maggie Jones again!

3 Star Rating Decent pub for drinks off Kensington high st. Visited many times in the past with different friends. However, I have to say that the food here is absolutely awful…. With the Sunday roast, only the meat was edible. Potatos hard as rocks, vegetables pretty tasteless but fine, as for the Yorkshire pudding… see picture

3 Star Rating Being a bit harsh maybe because this wasn't my choice to visit. This is a long dark pub with quite a lot of access issues for people with mobility by issues. It's long, dark and narrow with a really tight space in the women's toilets. I could barely squeeze past when the staff were attempting to refill the soap dispenser and the toilet roll. They also need to use timed air freshening units. There's an unpleasant odour of fish, floor spill, and peculiar wet plastic gloves smell. Apologies for graphic description but lm definitely nose sensitive as an owner of a large Roman snout. My order of a half shandy was misheard as a pint. The lemonade out into bore no resemblance to a lemon whatsoever and level head ale described as a darker pale ale ( oxymoron) was definitely not. I like a dark shandy made from beers like Doom. My own fault perhaps for asking to taste a couple of the tap. I find pubs less keen to do that when they know you're gonna dilute it with a soft drink. To be fair l was refunded half of the cost of the mistaken pint of shandy. I drank less than 10% of it. No repeat visits here.

5 Star Rating Really nice place to take a break in the crazy shopping. A nice selection of drinks, Green King on the tab and a decent selection of ciders. The menu is also quite divers even though, they could not deliver on every promise. One is tempted to say it almost English tapas. We were 4 person, who shared five "small" plates of cod, halumi, avô and sweet potato and more, which proved quite sufficient to satisfy our hunger.

5 Star Rating We were the large table of 20 friends on a Saturday night in December literally the worst table to try and serve and all the staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were attentive took care to clarify allergens, made sure everyone had drinks when they needed them. There were no delays in food and it was all delicious. Staff even kindly took a group photo for us. Would highly recommend booking here for group meals it was very easy to communicate with them during the booking process and the service led to a really special night for us.

5 Star Rating I went to the Brasserie in Kensington for my elderly mother and aunt's birthdays. They are usually very light and fussy eaters however, they cleared their plates despite having two courses. This wasn't due to small portions but sheer pleasure. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. We had the pan fried salmon bearnaise with chips, confit of duck a l'orange and pan fried sea bass and for dessert the crème brulle, crepe aux cerise and warm chocolate fondant

5 Star Rating A dinner to remember, without a doubt. I was looking for a good place to celebrate an anniversary and chose Yashin. We were rewarded with class service, fresh food, and a dedicated chef and team. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. We ordered as much as we could and only wish we could have fit in more. The wagyu beef and bone marrow were sublime. The presentation on the aged tuna matched the succulent flavors. The omakase plate was fresh and exciting. To eat a good meal is such a joy and this was such a meal. Would certainly recommend it and look forward to returning. Five stars all the way.

5 Star Rating After over a decade, returning to Yashin felt like a nostalgic journey with familiar lighting decorations. The intimate counter bar seating added to the charm. Opted for the sushi omakase, soft shell crab salad, and miso soup – all exquisite. The sushi, a delightful reminiscent taste, paired perfectly with the amazing sake. Despite being the last guests at 9 pm, the service remained attentive, making our late dinner a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

3 Star Rating The service was excellent however the food in general is disappointing. I ordered the omasake 8pc, it came with 4 roll tuna pieces and the 8pcs chef sushi selection. It was quite disappointed as the fish didn't look very fresh, and they were cut in very thin slices. The only good piece would be the toro with truffle which came out surprisely good. I ordered the Miso Cappucino after looking at the reviews. It was quite interesting as the tofu was done in foam that covered the miso soup. Lovely taste. The soft crab roll was okay and its the only thing that I can order for my kid. As the price go, it won't be my sushi restaurant go to. And if you have kid with you, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

5 Star Rating I’ve been coming here for years and still love it. It’s my favorite shawarma place outside of Beirut, and if I’m honest (having lived in Beirut), even in Beirut you can’t always get shawarma of this quality. Mezzehs are also decent, although this not the kind of place for an elaborate mezzeh sit-down or diner. Service is friendly, prices have gone up quite a bit in recent years, but then, it’s the same everywhere.

5 Star Rating Ranoush is a great little Lebanese spot with a traditional menu and well-cooked flavourful food. I’ve been several times and it’s consistent and straightforward which is great. I will say the dishes are pricey in my opinion even accounting for the premium location. Portion sizes are decent, and the service is great. Never had any problems getting a table. It may be difficult to find parking nearby but it’s very close to a tube. Would recommend if you like Lebanese food.

3 Star Rating Whilst the service was impeccable here, the evening was slightly let down by the food. Somethings we had were excellent, Pani Puri, Avocado dumplings, Chatt (starters) however the mains didn't live up to the preclude to the meal. The panneer was watery and the lamb chops were mainly bone. The Desi salad wasn't chopped, it was sliced tomato, onion and cucumber which was just odd and disappointing. I expected a bowl of refreshing salad. The prawns were stand out, however there were only three. For the price, I would expect more. All in all, not a complete disaster, with a few tweaks this restaurant could be great, but right now, it's just not worth the premium prices they are charging.

4 Star Rating The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. Perhaps a bit more eye contact would be appreciated, but I understand it was busy. A minor issue is that I informed the waitress that my son has a mild egg allergy to ensure nothing with egg, but when we ordered dessert, they forgot, and my son had a slight reaction. It's manageable, but please be careful, as this could be a significant issue for people with food allergies. The rest was fine, and the food was tasty.
