A luxurious 5-star hotel in London, and it exceeded all my expectations, the ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication. The staff were incredibly attentive.
As for the culinary experience, every dish was a masterpiece. The lobster taco was a delightful fusion of flavors, perfectly complemented by the succulent beef steak cooked to perfection. The Winter in Japan cocktail was a refreshing and innovative blend that tantalized my taste buds.
And let’s not forget about the dessert! The chocolate cheesecake was an absolute standout, with its rich and velvety texture melting in the mouth with every bite.
To top it all off, they surprised me with a complimentary birthday cupcake, which was a thoughtful gesture that added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. Overall, The Madison offers a dining experience that is worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for impeccable service and top-notch cuisine.

Highly recommend! Went here for bottomless brunch, food was spectacular, highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese. We were served by Natsu and she could not be lovelier! Ambiance was great. Only minus point was that the music was a tad bit to loud, otherwise it's a place you should not miss in London.

I’m a bit late with my review, but I still wanted to share my feedback. At the end of February, we celebrated my birthday at Madison and were served by Adarsh.
The food was excellent! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was lovely, and the view was absolutely stunning! We started the day with lunch at Madison and continued the experience at a high level.
Madison is definitely worth visiting. We had a 3-course meal with a glass of bubbly. The starter was simple, but good and tasty; we had smoked salmon. However, the main course and dessert were delicious. We ordered the Sea Bass for the main and the Honeycomb cheesecake and Panna Cotta for dessert—all were mouthwatering.
I want to separately mention the attentive service from Adarsh and the other members of the team. They ensured that my birthday was wonderful with outstanding service. The plates were served and cleared promptly, with the staff ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction and asking if we needed anything else. Great job!
We will definitely be returning soon and look forward to enjoying cocktails on the terrace in good weather. Thank you All!

Had a nice evening at Madison, firstly the views are amazing and you can’t go wrong there, loved the music and a cool vibe.
As being my partners birthday she was given a complimentary bubbles and a birthday plate which was a nice touch. Cocktails went down well albeit a bit expensive. Waiter seemed a little inexperience but manager cleared up his mistakes well.
The main area which needs addressing is how allergens are dealt with.
After a couple emails and a phone call I wanted to confirm that there was a gluten-free menu/options for Coeliacs. I was told on the phone there will be options. My partner sadly fell a little sick after the meal, which was because of the allergens. We were never shown an allergen menu/matrix, it seemed a little off the cuff.
One and done for me, lovely experience but for the price and lack of detail in allergens sadly let it down. Didn’t let this ruin our evening and enjoyed the drinks/food.

I only knew Madison for the bar rooftop area that I had visited multiple times.
We decided to come during lunchtime for my boyfriend’s birthday, and the waiter Carmine was amazing, he welcomed us super well wished my boyfriend happy birthday and took us to our table with two complimentary glasses of champagne.
We took the Tartare as a starter which was tasty and chose to take the Chateaubriand as a main, which was good but a bit pricey, the desserts were amazing and we loved the little candle and special happy birthday chocolate touch.
The view of St Paul Cathedral is also definitely a + and thanks again Carmine for making this experience lovely

We went for a quick dinner on Thursday night, restaurant was not too busy. Food was served quickly, nice and hot. They served some unique Dim Sum choices too.
Staff are very attentive and helpful. They mentioned all the dish name when they served the food. Definitely a very pleasant visit.

The benefit of a chain is it's uniform so you know what you're going to get. I'm a big fan of Pi g Pong restaurants and this one is no exception. Great tasting menu, it's enough food and their lunch time special means it's very reasonable. This branch is well located for St Paul's Cathedral and cannon street station.

Amazing food. Fabulous service. Great prices… what more could you ask for! Had a handful of small sharing style plates and a couple drinks each (wine and cocktails). Prices are very reasonable and they have a great happy hour 3-5 Monday to Friday!

Excellent service from Ben C, who was very friendly and genuine. A much better experience than I get in the Soho branch. Food is always delicious, it's a shame some of the older items have been taken off the menu - edamame potato cake! - but this actually led us to try some new dishes and loved them. Definitely recommend the griddled beef gyoza and chicken xiao long bao. Also enjoyed the new addition of the robot food server.

Authentic Italian food in London, best fried zucchini I can remember, recommend linguine and clams. Great Italian restaurants always have grappa…this place does.

Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

Had a lovely meal here, felt like a real Italian restaurant - food was nice and we enjoyed what we had - service was exceptional. Really enjoyed the wine selection having some italian gems that you don't usually see on a wine menu. The bottle of San Gimignano took us right back to Toscana

My expectations were low about this restaurant because of the negative reviews, but now I understand why people wrote negative reviews about it: jealousy.
This place is absolutely stunning. The receptionist has been so lovely and caring with us, taking care of my flowers. The service as well has been impeccably perfect, the waitresses were always there to make sure we were fine. The food is DIVINE!!!! Guys you need to try this restaurant once in a lifetime. Burrata was absolutely delicious, the lamb shank: standing ovation. One of the best restaurants of D&D London group. Please congratulate on my behalf with all the staff also in the kitchen. Everything was perfect, we will be back for sure!
Edit 2 hours later: we already booked Easter lunch there 😃

Anything but 5 stars feels wrong. We ordered Souris d'agneau, veal cutlet, sea bass risotto, duck breast, and the onion soup. Every dish came out on top of expectation (though I wish the lamb shank be braised longer).
Their service was impeccable, too. Friendly staff from the front desk to the sommelier. Best dinner we had in London. Totally recommend to anyone looking for a memorable time.

A great location and if the weather is nice, the seats outdoors with the view of the city is lovely.
The food was really good and despite some confusion when enquiring about a dessert ingredient with the staff, they were patient and made sure I got the information I needed.
We came on a weekday evening for dinner and it was really full and busy.

I went for dinner with a large party. The meal was very nice. It was quite a variety, starting with ravioli and a main course of fish. The fish was beautifully prepared. I wish I had ordered the Apple for dessert. A friend ordered it and it was amazing! I ordered the flourless chocolate cake. It was fine but nothing like the Apple. The meal also ended with complimentary petit fours and those were better than the chocolate cake!
The location was a little difficult to find. The elevator is tucked away but it opened to a beautiful terrace.

I haven’t been to Coq d’Argent for a few years now and that’s a mistake, I held a business dinner and I couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant
My beef tartare was amazing, it was seasoned perfectly and presented amazingly as you can see in the attached picture
My venison main dish was, hands down, the best venison dish I’ve ever had
Usually, I wouldn’t go for a pudding but both of us couldn’t resist and it was great that we did go for it as they were just fantastic
The service was brilliant- I was only a bit disappointed by the sommelier who pushed a wine that was over the budget I’ve asked for

The Golden Fleece is a good city pub. Large ground floor area with another large area downstairs. Decent beers on tap. Visited on a Saturday so quite quiet like most of the actual city on a weekend. Suspect this place gets very busy on week nights. Nice pub. Recommended.

A nice pub with some excellent beers on tap. Also a few sports screens... perfect! Tables were cleaned regularly which is great but what ever they clean with is very sticky! Well worth a visit

A large city pub, still connected to its history. Big & squared, high ceiling with faux panels & chandeliers retain the feeling of City of London bank pub. Large central bar with open space throughout, a snug at the back and spacious outdoor street drinking space. Victorian pillars, quarter wood panelled walls and an exposed brick finished top. Large ceiling recesses add to the space and heritage feel with ample, coved and edged lines. Large square, original windows and vast sills for coats and bags. Plenty of visible screens for sport, good vibe music and a busy buzz.
Alex Conkleton - 3 months ago
A lovely, cavernous city pub just off Watling Street. Plenty of both Cask and Keg to choose from along with wines and whatever spirits you may fancy. Fast polite and cheerful service from the crew behind the bar. A Friday afternoon, demonstrating the return of the office folk. There is a cellar bar offering more room on crowded occasions along with a rear, raised area on the ground floor. A most enjoyable pint!

This is my first try of lobster. I had promised myself to not eating that animal. Because They are boiled alive. I broke it but now I know it’s not worth killing a lobster for that. Regardless of this restaurant, The taste of lobster meat is not that special.. I never eat it again. Btw, The service was awesome. Everyone was friendly. The hamburgers were also good. We ate muscles and the sauce was tasty. I wont go again but recommend if you like

Wasn’t expecting much knowing that it’s a chain, but found it rather a great experience, especially when dropping in when the restaurant isn’t so busy in late afternoon for pre theatre dinner.
Both the steamed/boiled lobsters and the roll/sandwich were much better than expected in quality than what you’d normally get at a chained restaurant.
The croquettes and oysters 🦪 however were found lacking in many ways. The oysters were fishier than ones I’ve had (not sure if it’s the freshness or just the variety) and the croquettes were…to put it simply, boring and lacking in any lobster flavour.
Overall though, I’d re visit for the vibe, ambiance, nice booth, hospitality and the lobsters themselves.

He was the best and made our evening!
Thank you so much!!

It was great food.
Very delicious and look nice.
We didn’t know that they charge tips for the bill. It was my first tip culture in the UK, and I was a little confused because there was no explanation from the staff. It turned out that the bill said voluntary tip in small letters. However, tourists who are not good at English need sufficient explanation for this.

We were asked on arrival if we were there for an occasion to which we responded that it was our anniversary. When it was time for pudding they brought out a free crème brûlée with Happy Anniversary in chocolate writing.
It is an expensive experience, but you get what you pay for and should probably expect this in London anyway.
The food was all perfectly done, absolutely no complaints in that department either. I thought they had a good selection of sides. It is a steak house so I didn’t look at the vegetarian options to make any comment (but the menus are all online if you wanted to look).
The service was absolutely amazing; there were times I looked at my wine and water and they had definitely been topped up without me noticing. Everyone was super lovely, knowledgable about the food and accommodating!

We found ourselves in this lovely restaurant by chance but could not be happier with the choice.
My partner is a pescetarian and we were pleasantly surprised with the choice of fish available in a mainly steak house.
The experience was made even better by the lovely Itza, who provided us such good recommendations and amazing service.
As you can see by the photos, looking forward to going back.

P.S. The mac and cheese was just 🤤🤤🤤
Will definitely return without hesitation.

This is a small but outstanding steak restaurant. The chateaubriand was the best steak I've had. Its in the same price range as Gaucho and Goodmans but the quality is certainly right up there and possibly better. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything was 5 star. The ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The manager let my wife try a few wines before she decided what to order. The place is expensive (£70 each) but worth it. I included a pic of our Pancetta desert.

Difficult to find using Google maps , this is an unimposing place to approach. It is a bit of a "canteen" with little in the way of stylish decor inside.
The food from the limited menu, however, is spectacular.
South African comfort food prepared wonderfully , and served enthusiastically.
I really enjoyed my visit.

As a South African living in London, I was surprised that I'd never heard of this place, despite them being here for 15 years. The food and wine were okay, without being anything amazing. Staff and service were also fine without be too polite. Atmosphere is good, but that's due to their fortunate location down by the Thames.

Nice experience food was cooked well and had good flavours. Staff felt quite rushed, as though there was pressure to get people ordered, fed and left as quickly as possible. Multiple times we were told we had to vacate our table in 10 minutes, yet no one brought the bill over for us. We were eventually brought the bill and asked to leave at about 8:30. I expect because they wanted to fit extra covers in, although on the way out we noticed plenty of other free tables.
Popular with the after work crowd.

Had dinner here last week after work. Place was busy.
Our first time here and absolutely loved it!
Bon, the manager and his team were wonderful & welcoming.
We had a mix platter, to which he recommend as this gave us a selection.
For our mains we opted for the Stir Fried Basil Chicken and Pad Se Eiw. Both were flavourful and generous is portion size.
We will definitely be back!

Attended a team dinner. Atmosphere was festive. Overall, there lacks a feeling of cleanliness. None of the food was hot. My food was always like warm. The water pitchers had visible water? marks. And there was a smell like raw eggs which was a turn off. Nice location and atmosphere but the cleanliness, to me, is questionable.
