A fantastic evening spent here enjoying fabulous authentic Italian food and drink. The service was incredible, the waiting staff were attentive and friendly. The dishes were served with a description from the waiters showing that they had knowledge but also pride of what they were presenting. The atmosphere was intimate, it was also great to see Georgia Locatelli himself eating with friends.

Everything was on top of the expectations.
From the first step into the restaurant we have been treated as the most important people they had so far, and I truly believe that is a normal practice for them.
All the servers where friendly and professional. I appreciate the knowledge they have about all the ingredients they use in their dishes.
Food was amazing.
We had a very good dinner.
Unlikely we didn't met Chef Locatelli, hopefully next time.
Very recommended, we'll come back for sure.

Food is very good, popular and not common classic Italian with very little twist to modern and creative but basically classic Italian. It is for sure an interesting menu if you are not used to Italian food. I was expecting more creative cuisine both from chef Locatelli and from a Michelin star restaurant. The location is beautiful, a little noisy, probably because the restaurant has a pretty high number of seating so it is hard to keep the noise low when it is full. The wine list is very good and there is a good amount of excellent but affordable options. Service was impeccable!
Glad that I was there, not sure if it is worth a second visit.

Really good experience!
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere!
We weren’t expecting this good quantity of the portions!
Excellent quality of the food!
The only plate that we would expect a bit more was the Tiramisu that wasn’t that great.
Nice place!
You know that is a bit expensive but it’s not only for the name of the chef but even for the full experience during the meal!
We can’t wait to come for another meal!

Absolutely wonderful experience here. A bread basket of dreams, really kind and attentive staff, and beautiful food. The red wine risotto was delicious and we also really enjoyed the tiramisu. Great wine list as well. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

I would give the staff 5 stars they are fast, friendly and around all the time. The decorations and the smell of the restaurant really good. They offer welcome lemon juice was fine as well. However, the prawns were dry nothing special about it. Mushrooms were stuffed with little cheese and for somehow watery. I don’t know how to describe it but when you bite the mushroom it is mostly water. The bread under both dishes were burnt. The pasta in one word tasteless, I asked for salt just to taste something. Really wish if they can improve the ingredients or change chefs.
Pros
Friendly staff
Lovey decorations, smell good
Upstairs tables
Cons
Food below average
Space between tables really short

Great service, the food was extremely quick to be served and the staff were extremely kind! We were welcomed with tasty lemonade, there was a wide variety of vegan options, and they were extra cautious with nut allergies. I would definitely recommend!

I actually ate at this place on 12/27/2023:
Do you like Italian? If so, go there to eat! The food was great and the service was polite and professional. I had the lasagna with the added grande portion and it was good! The establishment was pleasant to eat in. Although, I did not use the restroom facilities, so I can’t speak to that. I would definitely go back to eat there again.

Update on Nov 2023 - now it’s Sound Cafe as part of the new Cumberland hotel.
Staff absolutely lovely. Good atmosphere- music not too loud and not rock like before. Food is pretty good - similar to Hard Rock. Funny little robot who delivers the meals (the server hand it across of course!). It was our wedding anniversary and we felt very welcomed. We will definitely come back! Thanks Sound Cafe team 👍😎

Visited on a Saturday lunch and had the Brunch menu. A good choice of American Classics.
We were looked after by Dario during our visit. Service was excellent and he was very attentive checking we were good for drinks and had everything we needed. Included drinks for the brunch deal were Prosecco, white, rosé or red wine as well as draft beer (Heineken) or soft drinks. You can change your drinks throughout the 90 minutes.
Food was excellent quality, delicious tasting, freshly prepared and we even experienced one of the courses being delivered to your table by a robot, which was entertaining, but lacked Dario's charging personality.
A wonderful experience and something we'll certainly do again when we're back in London.
Highly recommended.

We had the Valentines Day set menu with live music.. the venue itself is incredible with a wonderful stage area and seating well designed so everyone gets a good view. Acoustics were great and they even had the most sophistaicated robot waiters to bring your food to you! The human waiter we had was very friendly.. at least he asked us how was our meal unlike Mr Robot haha! The main meal was the low point.. burger was just average which is a shame. The dessert was great - very sweet but lucky I have a sweet tooth! All in all I would really recommend if you're up for a night out with a difference.

We had a bottomless brunch for £55 and we upgraded for unlimited cocktails, beer and Prosecco for £15. Cocktails were good, waiter was so on point, bringing cocktails non-stop. We also managed to get our food delivered by a ROBOT WAITER. Definitely going back! ♥️

Heard a lot about this place so was keen to experience the vibes.
Ambience was nice with a split of street food on the ground floor and the fine dining on the lower ground floor.
Prices are reasonable and a good range of options on the menu. The starters were extremely flavourful with good depth and spice. The mains were much simpler and bland….lacking spice and flavour.
Service staff were very polite and prompt with food to the table and clearing.
A positive experience overall, though if you are looking for options with strong flavours and spice, your options will be somewhat limited.

We were looking for a good Indian restaurant in the Mayfair / Marylebone area when visiting London recently, but didn’t want to go to one of the very high end ones because our kids have not had a lot of Indian food before. The reviews for Roti Chai seemed good, so we decided to give it a try opting for a table in the basement dining room. Overall, we were really pleased with our meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant; it was not stuffy at all. For starters we got the Chicken Momos dumplings and the Saffron Chicken Tikka, and everyone loved the chicken tikka especially. For entrees, we ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani and the Saagwala Gosht, and all were quite good, especially the Saag gosht.

The atmosphere and service are good.
The starters were nice including the chats, bun kebab and potatoes.
The mains however were a let down.
The biryani lacks flavour - it's coloured rice with chicken at best.
The GT chicken looked like a butter chicken but again lacked any discernable flavour.
I would visit again, but only order starters/snacks.

I love it when restaurants surprise me pleasantly. I ordered the Samosa, and it was not what I expected, but I absolutely loved it. Everything was soo good, flavorful without being overly spicy.
Also, the price was good and the service efficient.
The only complaint is that there could have been a few more pieces of meat, both the lamb and the chicken. There were more potatoes than meat.
Otherwise, everything was great!!!

Combination of Indian street food and fine dining.
We had a dinner at the fine dining section.
The food was good. The chicken biryani is recommended. The butter chicken was good. The appetizers was average.
The service needs an improvement. As the appetizers plates was not removed even though it was finished and the main course was served.
We asked for the bill for more than three times.
The price was very reasonable.

great atmosphere. nice dishes. nothing exciting.
the staff is lovely, welcoming and sweet.
we enjoyed our time there. the paellas are ok and I’d actually skip both of them.
the meat was great and well seasoned, but thats the specialty of Lurra, so whats the point of going to Donostia?
I had a great time, but won’t go again.
the only dish that we loved, was the Tortilla.
Also, had eggshell pieces in the cheesecake.. and it was too sweet.

Just wanted to write this review to say thank you to all staff at Donostia for the lovely evening that my wife and I had, and for honestly making it a great experience overall.
We ordered a few dishes from the specials, and some from the main menu. The one that was absolutely impeccable was the langoustine arrozo!! OMG - we could have had two plates each of this. It was unreal.
The Cheesecake is what prompted us to book, and it very much lived up to expectation. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked and we were told we couldn't order more to take home... but we will be back for sure!! :)
The waitress that explained the menus to us was very friendly and did a great job, but we were also served by another gentleman who unfortunately I didn't catch the name of. He was on top, always smiling, and happy to give advice on the wine too. We had a great evening!
I highly recommend visiting. Make sure you book, and just enjoy the atmospehere and time you're there. You're not rushed, the food will arrive when it is ready, just... take the time, and enjoy!!

The sourdough was so-so; olive oil didn’t have many layers of taste. The seafood croquetas was quite good; it had balance between the sauce on too and the croquetas itself. Beef was okay.
The service was excellent. We went there on last Saturday and the waiter was very kind and always had a smile on his face.
The atmosphere was okay… the floor downstairs was very slippery; that’s a hit dangerous. Even the staffs needed to walk slowly so that they don’t slip.

Wow. Only basque restaurant I’ve been to in london and tasted pretty legit. Gildas and basque cheesecake was just spot on. The wagyu with foie gras was also v yum.
Tortilla was also super yum. I would not order turbot - it was not the only fish and two tiny bits.
4 stars because portion sizes too small and expensive for what it is.

Was here with my gorgeous bubeleh over the Easter weekend out on the terrace, watching the characters off Marble Arch with a pretty tasty G’n’T. It’s further a rarity in central London: outside drinking while not near noise or cars - lovely, Pappi approves 😎

I have been using this pub for many years. In the heyday it was always busy. Sadly all Public Houses are not as busy as they used to be. The Quebec is Large with plenty of seating. It is clean and comfortable. They do not offer a very big variety of food. All I saw was Pizza on offer, maybe that was because I visited on a Sunday Afternoon. I personally have fond Memories of this place.

Nestled in the heart of London, this pub offers a refreshing escape and is just off the main hustle and bustle of Marble Arch/Oxford Street. From the moment I entered, the welcoming staff set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The team's enthusiasm and attentive service created a genuinely inviting experience, making me feel right at home. They could not have been friendlier.
A great assortment of craft beers and lagers on the taps and in the fridge. A welcoming and modern interior with traditional pub features creates a comfortable setting, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Whether you're seeking a reliable after-work hangout or a place to mingle with friends, this pub seamlessly combines a decent beer selection with a laid-back ambiance, ensuring a memorable experience for anyone exploring London's pub scene. It's a gem in the heart of the city that I wholeheartedly recommend for those looking to balance work and play in style.
Oh and thank you for the T-shirt :)

Some really good Drag shows here. The people are usually fun and really nice. I sometimes end up with a few number by the time I finish here of a late evening but have to bin them before I get home. The musics great and the live shows are fantastic just in case I’ve not been clear.

Decoration and atmosphere is quite ok, that’s why we get in. But the food is disappointing!!! If you love Italian food, skip it, really salty and oily food, not tasty as all, and very unhealthy!!

Had a great time here. The staff were friendly, the food was good, the vibe was good as well. Personally ordered a tomato pasta and was delighted with the order. However, the price was a bit expensive in my opinion.

Staff were friendly and quick to take our orders, however we were a bit disappointed by the strenuous waiting time and the overall food quality. The garlic bread was delicious, but when it came to our main dishes we were left with an odd taste in our mouths and a stomachs ache. Additionally, we were forced to wait 20 minutes for our starters and another 15 for our mains, which isn’t the best considering we were starving. Overall, we paid £50+ for a small 2 course meal, which isn’t the best for those who are staying on a budget. But do come here if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff!

Nice cozy pub. Cod fish and chips with mashed peas were good. Fairly thick breading. Thick fries. Good dry consistency on the peas. House bitter was a great beer. Not inexpensive. Got there just a little before 17:00 and were lucky to get a seat for our family of five. Staff was very friendly.

Great pub food and great vibe. The food here in this pub exceeded expectations, went in for some traditional food of steak pie and fish and chips. They did not disappoint. The pie was full of flavour and plenty of filling. The fish was crispy as well as the chips being great too. Would recommend for a drink and classic pub food.
