I brought my family here for mother's day afternoon tea and we were all blown away. Impeccable service, flawless food and stunning interior. Thank you so much for making it such a special day.

Nice affordable afternoon tea in a lovely location. The hotel is charming and the decor intriguing. You get what you pay for, it’s very decent and the ambience is lovely! Service is great. we didn’t get charged for asking for more hot water in the tea pot.

Absolutely gorgeous and fantastic hotel!! The decor is stunning and full of inspiration for my home. The workers are so nice and helpful. Zero complaints. Now my go-to hotel whenever I am in London. Looking forward to staying in their other properties

The hotel is well decorated and clean. The staff is very awkward to deal with and many of them speak in English, but don’t seem to actually understand English. We stayed in Room 2, which is in the basement below the restaurant. From 6:30 a.m. on you hear footsteps pounding above you. The bath tub/shower is basically inaccessible for anyone who is not somewhat athletic and coordinated. Another problem with the room is that the only window allows people sitting in the restaurant to look directly into the room from 30 feet away.
This hotel is probably fine if you are not in rooms 1 to 4, which are all in the basement. Request not to be in Room 2 unless you want to be awoken each day at 6:30 without a wakeup call.

I’ve exclusively visited their restaurant so couldn’t say anything regarding the other premises. The hotel generally speaking looks very unique, charming and well attended. I’d easily say it’s posh hotel and the staying is potentially high standard. The restaurant in terms of service is okay, but the food itself left a lot to be desired specially for the price charged. No special dishes at all, very restricted menu with none impressive options. They’ve sold out all their Italian options, the Ragu and Gnocchi. Wine options not a big thing, the salmon dish was also very very average. Overall, if you’re really into special restaurants, this one is not a good choice, however I’d highly recommend for a tea or drink to enjoying the great environment around. Avg of 75£/person without drinking, start + main. Absolutely overpriced for what they delivered as a dishes.

Had an exceptional lunch there today. Was fully booked but managed to fit us in at the bar area. The service from the staff behind the bar was impeccable. Friendly and welcoming.
The food was fantastic. We had about 7 dishes (check the photos) and were both nice and full by the end of it.
Standouts were the chorizo and pork belly. The prawns were great too. Pro tip, dip the bread on both sides into the prawn/gambas sauce after you finish the prawns. It was heavenly. All dishes were quality.
Great and authentic tapas in south Ken.

Good Afternoon dear people 🤗 hope you are having a lovely day! It’s raining in London, but I kind of like it. It soothes me right now. Anyway, I know I have been super busy and traveling and have so many reviews to do. Here is a quick review that I just recently went. It is a Spanish Tapas in South Kensington and here are my thoughts. Let me start with the timing since I didn’t have a reservation it took about 35 minutes to be seated. Keep that in mind since weekends are busy. Started with a drink, Sangria wine with fruits and it was lovely and refreshing. The dish I absolutely LOVED it’s called Huevos Rotos, potatoes and egg with roasted vegetables and delicious Mallorcan pig sobrasada! This was beyond my expectations! Must try! The potatoes are by far one of the best I Have Ever Tried! The combo is so different and it melts in your mouth! The second dish it’s called Ajo Blanco chargrilled hispi cabbage with chestnut, almond and garlic cream! I liked this as well. Only maybe tiny bit more to cook it so it has more texture and bite to it. Next one it’s something I was skeptical about, but nicely surprised. Garbanzos beans with tomato sauce and crunchy nuts and shredded egg was so delicious. The beans were perfectly cooked.(I dislike so much when they undercook the beans) so bravo! Croquetas de Jamon were super tasty and crunchy outside. Patatas Bravas were Average , cut too big and the Garlic Alioli had way too much Garlic! Dear Chef this is big NO! I would get rid of this dish completely. Drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁…well now we talk about the Pork Dish! Since I come from the land where we are called, “The Meat Scientists”, (sorry if you are Vegan) I must tell you honestly what I think about the pork dish. It was very delicious in general, lovely mix of flavors but unable to chew the meat at all! Which made me frustrated! The big beans were also so hard and undercooked! So dear Chef, PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY! I will come back again and I hope you make me Happy! 🙏🤗

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment recently, and I must commend Ciprian for his exceptional service. His attention to detail and professionalism surpassed my expectations, as he not only provided efficient service, but also imparted knowledge about the dishes he recommended and which we really enjoyed.
The restaurant itself is impeccably maintained, boasting a clean and inviting atmosphere, thanks in large part to Ciprian and his team.
I wholeheartedly recommend this dining experience, particularly if you have the opportunity to be served by Ciprian.

5 stars for the device and the staff and 1 star for the hotel itself. I haven't seen the hotel staff so loyal and dedicated to please the customer!!! If I start a hotel in London I would certainly hire the staff from Pelham giving them 1.5 times salary. Now to the review, we booked this hotel for 3 during Christmas holidays, the hotel is in the key location of London, many museums and tourist places are at walkable distance. The subway station is in front of the hotel. The rooms are cozy and not suitable for 3 adults. The third bed they provide could make you very uncomfortable!!! In our room they fixed the third bed and then there was no space to walk for us. The rooms are good for two only, I should also say that they were clean, and well prepared for the guests. Upon my request they removed the two chairs the next day which gave a bit more room to walk or not bump into each other at every step. Bathrooms are remodeled, there was enough space to hang our jackets and other clothes. The heater didn't warm up the room uniformly, we felt very warm sometimes in the night and otherwise cold. I would stay again at this hotel for their service and location!!! They also have a restaurant in the basement or level below the ground, we had the continental breakfast everyday, if you want some protein you might have to order it on top of your included breakfast. The restaurant staff was good, friendly!!!

A fantastic small boutique hotel with beautiful rooms, comfy bed and in the heart of Kensington. Short walk to Hyde Park and Harrods and only a few stops on the underground, which is opposite the hotel, to Covent garden and Victoria. Breakfast was nice and service was very welcoming with nothing being too much effort. Accommodated an early check-in and later check-out with nice pre-dinner cocktails served in the drawing room.

The room was too small and apparently could not be changed. It also was not cleaned after returning to the hotel in the evening which was inconvenient.
The Wi-Fi was not working which was highly inconvenient as I had to be roaming on my overseas network.

I really enjoyed my staying at the Pepham the room was cosy and the staff were nice.
The only problem is the room carpet and the wallpaper were full of spots weren’t clean.
And the bathroom radiator didn’t work

My 1st time to London England and The Pelham London made my stay that much more enjoyable. Originally had a standard room but since I was staying 11nights, I asked to see if there was a bigger room available. This room was more spacious and extremely comfortable. Thank you to the desk clerk who made the switch so seem less and smooth. The in-house restaurant had delicious breakfast every morning I was there but can be a bit busy with not enough staff to tend to all the guests, but still excellent. The hotel is right across from the subway station and lots of bus stops all around. Very convenient location and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want to stay at a cozy hotel.

Food: It was my first time trying Polish food and we got the venison goulash and the cod as our mains and the latter was better than the former. My friend felt that the cod was a bit dry and I felt that there were some tough bits to the venison but overall they were good. For desserts, we ended up getting the fruit dumplings and the pancakes and the pancakes were the best part of the meal.
Service: Really good, we felt that the waitress that served our table was really attentive and from what I noticed, this was a positive experience for other diners as well.
Atmosphere: People looked like they were having a lot of fun there but granted the tight spaces for all of the tables does dampen it a little.
Chris L C - 3 weeks ago
I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The first time was a few years back, and the dishes were tastier back then. However, during my last visit, I felt that the food was almost pre-prepared and only warmed up before serving. It was a bit disappointing.
On top of that, when we arrived as a group, we were given a table at the entrance with benches. I must say, the seating area was quite cramped, and it was a challenge for everyone to find enough space. We were all seated very close together. It would have been more comfortable if there was more room between the tables.
I was really excited to go to this restaurant again, especially because I was looking forward to trying some authentic Polish food. Unfortunately, this time around, I left feeling disappointed. I believe these issues could be resolved by reviewing the menu, paying more attention to the details in the preparation of the dishes, and improving the service.
By making these improvements, the restaurant can ensure a better dining experience for its customers.

I absolutely loved my experience at Daquise. The dishes we chose were all very good, but most of all I was impressed with the quality of the service: glasses were refilled without fault, fresh cutlery was delivered between courses (now a rarity in London) and it just all felt old school done the right way.
We shared everything and we ordered one of everything of the dumplings (fantastic), venison pate (dreamy) and they offered us some Russian salad too (usually not something I go for but I cleaned that baby up, it was delicious).
Mains were: rabbit (good), veal escalopes (very good), pork tenderloin (fab) and veal liver (this one was the one I expected to like the least but it ended up being my absolute favourite - done perfectly).

Fantastic first dinner in our latest visit to London. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried, and service was brisk and attentive in this busy local Kensington restaurant.
We tried the pepper shrimp and chili paneer as appetizers and they were both excellent. The pepper shrimp was well accented by the generous red onion and peppers, all well salted and peppered. The chili paneer sauce was light but with a generous amount of heat, and the quality of the cheese was superb.
We also had the samosas and they were fine, not particularly remarkable.
For the mains, we had the lamb chops, butter chicken, saag paneer, aloo jeera, and the yellow rice with cashews. All were great but the lamb chops and butter chicken in particular were just next level. There was a sweet and smoky combination to the butter chicken sauce that was otherworldly, and the lamb chops were seasoned, seared, and grilled to perfection.
Food came out quickly, and we were never left waiting during our meal. Decor was simple and tasteful.
Highly recommended if you're anywhere close by.

The lamb chops were very good, I recommend them.
Unfortunately, after telling them twice to not add any fresh coriander to any of our dishes, it still "blessed" a number of them.
The place felt clean and the staff were attentive. However, my poor service review is owing to the fact that at the end of our meal, one of the staff practically pressured my poor mother to post a review, all while monitoring over her shoulder. We all found this encounter to be incredibly uncomfortable...
Nevertheless, had an enjoyable meal here.

I ordered from this restaurant via Ubereats and very disappointed by what I received.
The food is very pricy, yet the quality does bot match to the price.
I am not sure if the delivery and take out ia different with what you receive in the restaurant.
The Tandoori King Prawn portion was very small and only 3 prawns for the price of £16.95 🤔😳. It was salty but better than other dishes I ordered.
The Murgh Tikka’s chicken was not fresh and very smelly. It was breast tikka and the meat was mot fresh itself. It was also very dry.
Overall they don’t have good and fresh chickens as the Murgh Kurma’s chicken was very dry even though it supposed to be good while in the kurma sauce.
The Meat in Meat chilli stir fry was very tasteless but it had the only decent portion size between other food I ordered.
They sent a salad with our order which was not fresh at all and cucumber was saggy and not suitable for eating.
Among all I ordered I can say the Keema Naan is good, although it was not very fresh again but tastes good. The normal Naan size is smaller than what I have had from other Indian restaurants.
Overall, I don’t recommend this restaurant just because of its price vs the quality and quantity of the food you receive.

Traveled to London for the week and decided to visit this lovely restaurant. Despite us being late the staff were very attentive with our orders and answered any extra questions.
Ordered the Tika Massala, Garlic Naan with a side of rice. Everything was heated very well and spiced to perfection.
Would recommend as it is not too far from the South Kensington station.

Saw the good reviews for this restaurant and decided to stop in.
We ordered the following:
Vegetable Samosas
Tandoori Lamb chops
Butter Chicken
Green Curry
Garlic Naan
The samosas were good on flavor and size.
Lamb Chops while having great flavor was a very small size for the price. 4 pieces that were quite small and barely any lamb meat.
Butter Chicken - good flavor on the dish but felt rather watery. The sauce was not very thick and almost felt like a soup. Very small portion for the price
Green Curry - the most disappointing dish after being highly recommended. The curry felt very dry and the chicken did not absorb the flavors from the curry. Would not order this again (not pictured)
Garlic Naan - standard naan, good flavor and nice crispness

Very friendly staff that were very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and helped select dishes. Food was delicious, tasted fresh and authentic. Restaurant was very clean and the food was served quickly. Wine was great! The Tiramisu and Afogato were both fantastic. A few minutes walk to South Kensington station so I’d recommend it if you’re in the area or want to try some Italian food.

We were here on holiday and really wanted good Italian but we were in a huge hurry and needed something really close to our hotel. Luckily we asked at the concierge for a recommendation and without hesitation the guy told us to go to Rocca. It absolutely hit the spot. Everything was great but my (picky) daughter’s pasta rose and my lobster tortellini were to die for. Fabulous lunch!

First time at this restaurant
- beautiful atmosphere, feels very authentic
- great food, quick service
- friendly staff members
We paid separately, so he paid for his meal + a small tip, I paid mine & the waitress said "thanks for coming" etc.
However, as we were leaving, the waitress informed us that we were £4 short. There was a 12.5% service charge (which was optional & we chose not to pay), so we told her we didn't pay that & she said "Oh you're not paying it?", we said "no sorry" and walked out really awkwardly - customers shouldn't be made to feel guilty!

The guy who served us was like the best dude ever - super helpful with menu questions, friendly, funny... the works. There's not that many veggie options outside the tempura/gyoza (both of which we got and were amazing) but the miso grilled aubergine was an absolute stunner. Also the wagyu... I only had a taste but ooft 10/10. Everything came very quickly and the vibes even in the overflow downstairs were good, with traditional Japanese seating and water features etc.

Stumbled upon this gem late one evening and had the chirashi don, tempura udon and sushi roll I forgot the name of. The sashimi was fresh and delicate, sushi roll was exquistely presented and the matcha & black sesame ice cream was the icing on top of the cake (no pun intended!)
Would recommend for anyone looking for a intimate and ambient dining spot for Japanese cuisine, for date night, family dinner or with friends. The food, service and environment was all perfect and would definitely come back again!

My wife and I sought out an authentic fish and chips experience, and this pub truly delivered. The atmosphere exuded warmth and charm, creating a delightful dining environment. The staff, incredibly friendly and accommodating, added to the overall positive experience. While I awarded 3 stars for the service, considering the norm of ordering at the bar, it's a minor quibble. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic English pub food and a genuine culinary experience.
Shawn Brown - 3 months ago
Really enjoyed this pub not too far from our hotel. We3 were able to get a hearty dinner (burgers, fish and chips) and a few cask ales to wash away the troubles of travelling. Place was very busy for a Tuesday night, so that was a good sign. We found ourselves lucky to get a table when another group had left.
Bar service is great, good noise level of consistent buzzing of activity, but not so much the table could not hear each other. A number of spots around the bar, but some regular and cozier tables around the outside walls. Good food, good service, cold beer.

Beautifully fried piece of fish, might be the best I've tasted. Tartar sauce had tarragon in it for a nice twist. Steak pie was also very good. Seated upstairs, was quite warm and we had to walk downstairs to place our order ourselves. If we wanted to order anything additionally, including water, we had to go back downstairs. Not ideal., although server was friendly and whisked plates away promptly. I'd return for the fish any day.

I cannot fault this place at all. We waited for a table and were able to sit outside in the sunshine. When it got a bit cooler there were heaters overhead you could manually turn on so no faffing with having to ask the staff to do this for us and you get to control it yourself!
The food was absolutely amazing! It arrived really quickly after ordering and was the perfect meal for us. Will definitely be coming back here.

Very good experience at Comptoir Libanis this afternoon. Service staff went out of their way to find a table for our family of 6, despite it being busy lunch hour.
The food was very good. The hummus was tasty and creamy. The beef skewer was soft and savoury.
Definitely recommended dining for anyone after a day at the museums!

Overall: ★★★☆☆
A solid three stars for this Lebanese style restaurant best suited to tourists. The menu contains something for everyone although I don’t think the mezze platter for two was good value at all at £24!! The chips at almost £5. . It was bustling full of out of tourists and not a place for locals or families. It’s too busy, slow indifferent service and not good for families. Water was served in a pretty hot glass which was painful to deal with. I mean it was obviously hot but the server plonked it down and moved off.
Food: Lebanese style
What I liked:
• The chips
• The falafels
• The dips
What I didn’t like:
• NASTY, horrible ketchup. The cheapest you can get and not a patch on Heinz.
• Small portion sizes (=poor value)
• Doesn’t cater well for vegetarians
• Slow, indifferent service
• The flat bread was awful and didn’t go well with the minute portion of hummus etc
Do I recommend going? NO
Will I go again? YES (if hungry and desperate)
Was it good value? NO
Price Point: $$
