3 Star Rating Fantastic pub but awful food. Had an immaculate pint of Guinness and the atmosphere was great for a Tuesday evening but a disappointing Shepherd's Pie. Small, unseasoned, £17 and a stingy amount of cheap ingredients like carrots and peas.

4 Star Rating Excellent! Such a lovely pub, will certainly return here again. We visited the place for a Sunday brunch, ate the weekend specials vegetarian Wellington and a chicken roast. Decent food and friendly staff. The only disappointing thing was that even though we booked our table in advance, we were seated in a tiny corner table next to the toilet :( Otherwise, the place is a stunning old pub with wooden interior and vintage paintings, a truly enjoyable place to be!

5 Star Rating Wonderful and attentive staff, despite it being packed when I got there on Friday night. The bar lady, also recognised us from our previous visit, which was a nice touch. Also great 80s music, not too intrusive, and a relaxing atmosphere. I proper pub with a bit of upper class charm, but not too much...

3 Star Rating Booked a table for 8pm, staying locally from abroad and was recommended her for dinner by friends. Really disappointed. Felt rushed the minute we arrived, we were told kitchen was closing at 8:30pm so we should order asap. Given limited menu (unlike the options we read on the website and were told this was due to “a missed delivery”) with 4 mains, 2 of which were vegan. Ordered straight away including dessert (only one option to choose from). Meals arrived 50 mins later. Fish and chips and fish of the day were ok but nothing special. Overall felt really disappointed. Wouldn’t return.

5 Star Rating We LOVED the food at The Summer House. The staff was attentive and very hospitable. I celebrated my birthday here and they made it so special! The Super Healthy Salad, Mezze and Butternut Squash soup are a must try. We enjoyed the ambiance and if we were from England we’d be sure to come back to this spot. Coming from 2 tourists from the US- this place does not disappoint.

4 Star Rating The environment is good. In winter, the glass by the river is not wiped clean, and the scene by the river is average. But the interior decoration is very good and very warm. The appetizer is quite salty. The side dishes are quite delicious.

4 Star Rating Exquisite dinning at this treasure in little Venice. The interior decor is accentuated by the river bank streaming alongside the restaurant. This lovely ambiance is well-matched with the incredible food at the Summerhouse. The quality of their seafood is commendable. My friend and I had the pleasure of sharing their fresh oysters, seared scallops, and popcorn shrimp as starters, followed by the catch of the day. A memorable experience. It goes without saying that the team of waiters deserve much credit for their service. They were attentive to our needs, friendly, and offered excellent recommendations for food and drink. The prices were quite steep, but this is standard for most of London. If you’re in the mood for a treat, I suggest keeping Summerhouse on your fine dining list.

5 Star Rating I would give the bridge house 6 stars if I could! We hired the pub for a leaving party and I honestly had the most amazing time. The staff went above and beyond and were the friendliest of people. Every step of the way, Ian (general manager) was on hand to help with constant communication and helped us to envision the type of party we wanted. If I were to ever throw a party again, I would 100 times over choose the bridge house! We had a truly amazing time and will be returning tenfold. A big thank you to you all xx

3 Star Rating Lovely pub with one real ale on draft. Went for Sunday lunch, and the service was very good with a warm welcome. I was presented with a nice-looking plate of food with a plentiful selection of vegetables. But, on four plates, the beef was tough and very overcooked. This was a major disappointment and will mean we will not be returning. This was our disappointment our dogs 🐕 loved it as they got to eat the beef we took home with a pub supplied box. As an edit to he question posed in the polite response from the manager:- It was a family meal for six of us, with four beef. we also had a pork and a nut roast dish both were reasonable/good. My family party did not wish to complain, "don't make a fuss", or I would have had a word with you; which I certainly would if only two of us came. I sincerely wish you good fortune with the business and hope you have a good Christmas and new year.

4 Star Rating Very nice atmosphere. They have a lovely outdoor seating area that is shaded. Their menu is nice and varied, with interesting plates. We ordered the chicken with Saffron, calamari, both were nice. For desert, the Eton Mess was nice, and the brownie chocolate. But I’d preferred the brownie to be more warm. The waiters are friendly. The bathrooms are clean.

5 Star Rating Top 3 places in the world i have ever been. The glass house is inside a greenhouse which welcomes you with plants and lights in this time of the year. You can buy trees and souvenirs as well as plants and other ornaments. Extremely kind staff in a hidden place that is worth visiting. We went as a couple and it was a greay time. Some tables are too close but you can still enjoy your brunch. Frienda and big groups will have a wonderful time. Food is pricey but is worth it. Tasty and fresh. Coffee is strong and full of flavour. Cakes are amazing and the mixes are broad.

5 Star Rating This is a hidden gem in the Maida Vale area. Hidden inside the Clifton nursery, this cafe offers unique dishes and fresh juices. Unique is also the atmosphere. The greenhouse and the nursery around it make this place magical. Friendly staff and good service. The presentation of the food is remarkable. Once you’re done with food, take a moment to wander around all different plants, flowers and outdoor furniture displayed in the yard. It’s a 5 minutes walk from the Warwick Avenue tube station and another five minutes walk to little Venice.

5 Star Rating A little hidden gem hidden in Maida Vale! We arrived at 1:30pm on a Sunday and waited only a few minutes to be seated at the restaurant. We had the vegan Portobello burger and the dirty burger which we both shared. Both were excellent. Or waitresses Claudia and Alexandra (I asked their names to write this review) we're constantly busy and yet, always available and smiling! We had several requests and they managed them quickly. We then wandered around, into the green house and between all the plants and flowers... We really had a great time there and will definitely come back for the amazingly looking salads!

Service and the way they treat you is top notch and let me reassure you its the one of the highest level I have seen in London. Second thing is food quality, they way its cooked and served is absolutely incredible! Loved every single dish out of 6 that we have ordered and the taste of it too. Thirdly - atmosphere! 5 Star Rating Nestled in the picturesque alleyways between the canals and Warwick Avenue, Paulette stands as a heartbeat, an invisible thread weaving the melodies of countless pop songs and the delicate beginnings of innumerable love stories. Stepping through the door of this gastronomic sanctuary is akin to entering a daydream, free from unnecessary frills, with only a handful of tables standing in quiet elegance. Here, it's not just about dining; it's about plunging into a sensory reverie. As a vegetarian, I consistently discover small delights on the menu, despite the roots in French cuisine. The wine selection is a palate symphony that surpasses my own knowledge. Yet, in my waiter, who appears to have stepped out of a Nouvelle Vague masterpiece, I find a confidant, a conductor who treats each guest as a unique friend. Paulette transcends being merely a restaurant; it is a haven of comfort. Here, one doesn't feel like a guest but rather a member of the extended family, a feeling that solidifies even by the third visit. Amidst the bustling city lights, Paulette doesn't just offer a meal; it orchestrates a rendezvous of the senses, an invitation to surrender to the flow of the moment. London, you are the home for so many of us. Let us linger and be uplifted by this moment, enveloped in the enchantment of Paulette.
