5 Star Rating Weird the line is not as long as it used to be. It was about Saturday around 11am and the wait is 20 minutes for a table of four. Food is delicious as usual. I had the Mexican omelette and definitely get the fries. They have the best fries in America to be honest. We got pancake, egg Benedict and something else. Coffee is like a good old diner coffee in the familiar cup. Service can’t be better. The waiter is full of energy and love the smile. We got our order fast and correct. He gave us extra sauce and refill on coffee. It’s very tight spot and I would just have one person wait inside until the table is ready.

5 Star Rating I mean.. if you’ve seen two episodes of Seinfeld you need to go here! It’s a bit from everything else while in the city but it’s definitely worth the time. It looks of course nothing alike in the series but the atmosphere is still there. There are some photos from the cast with adds to the feeling. The restaurant itself it very pleasant, we shared a tuna salad and a coffee and it was nice! The staff was very friendly.

5 Star Rating Run do not walk! This place is the absolute best breakfast spot in the neighborhood. The entire staff is so friendly and generous and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. Classic American fare but done to perfection. Only downside is CASH ONLY but they have an ATM and honestly any ATM fee is worth it for the food and service you’ll receive. I cannot wait to return again and again!

5 Star Rating I popped in for a quick bite. I was craving cooked sushi. The vibes here was friendly and serene. I got the black dragon roll. The woman who took my order was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and kind. The shrimp tempura was crispier than normal, the avocado was fresh and the eel sauce was sweet. I received a generous amount of refreshing pieces of ginger too. The roll was super delightful. I'll be coming here again for that roll specifically.

2 Star Rating The food looked good but the taste didn't match. I usually like this type of shrimp but i was not feeling it at all on top of that the sauce that was given didnt taste good with it. The soup was the worse i tasted it and left it alone. The only decent thing was the bubble tea. However the server was nice and I like how the food was served on a small skillet pan

5 Star Rating After a nearby visit to the Brooklyn Library for a late night exhibit , we (party of two) needed a bite and this place was conveniently nearby. 🥘 Had the calamari for starters with a yummy sauce. Then the burger and fries, and the blackened catfish that comes with mac and cheese and sautéed spinach. Everything was delicious! 🍹 Also tried the Jamaican rum punch. There wasn’t much of a rum kick to us, but it was still good. 🎶 We were lucky enough to be serenaded by Cheryl herself with a live soulful performance while we dined. 🛎️ Forgot our server’s name but he was amazing! Everything was great and we’re looking forward to returning for brunch.

4 Star Rating I had been wanting to come here and I will say it was well worth it! It was everything I thought it would be tastebud wise and more. We started with the Mac and cheese and Country Fried Cajun wings (6 comes with the order). I couldn’t get a picture because the food smelled that good off impact. We then ordered the jerk pork bowl and the glazed salmon bowl with nori seaweed. Both bowls were amazing and hit so many notes for us taste wise. Matched with (2) cocktails of choice, we weren’t disappointed. We don’t normally get dessert but we got the bread pudding. I’m not a sweets person but it was the right amount of tart and sweet (fruit heavy). Service was amazing from start to finish. We will be coming back.

5 Star Rating Just go and see the magic for yourself. This is one little bundle of joy. The food and drinks are splendid. You can tell the chef is making it with love. The people are super nice. The menu is varied, familiar, and comforting. I got the fried wings, which were divine especially with the scotch bonnet hot sauce. There was live music when I went, which definitely set the vibe. You can have dinner there or even just a coffee. Great location too, across the street from the Brooklyn Museum. Indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is right. It's a little tight in there so it may be tough to get a wheelchair but I am sure they can make it work.

4 Star Rating Atmosphere is great, food is decent. I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon well done. The bacon wasn’t well done and the sandwich was greasy. That was a turn down for me. I also ordered the avocado and egg sandwich which came on a multigrain bun. Not impressed, but good enough. The place got packed at around 10am (Sunday) there are plenty seats inside and outside. The place has a restaurant/casual bar vibe. Family friendly, as I saw couples with strollers.

5 Star Rating How is this place not more popular?? Perhaps the best kept secret in Prospect Heights. 4 Star Rating I’ve only gotten the sandwiches, but they’re all delicious and filling. The rotisserie chicken sandwich is probably their most popular and it’s most like a chicken salad sandwich, but really packed with slices of chicken. The avocado with cheddar and ricotta broccoli are both great vegetarian options. They have some great baked good options if you go in person; unfortunately they’re never there when you order to go.

5 Star Rating I place put together some awesome pictures for you all. This was my first time here I went craving a southern comfort meal it was amazing I recommend the cheddar cheese grits shrimp and catfish with the cinnamon waffles it was absolutely amazing. Although I am sleepy now it is very filling. The music was diverse. However everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. Thank you. There's indoor and sometimes outside seating depends on what days you arrive. The food from my point of view is very expensive I took a leap of faith I'm satisfied. It's small yet cozy. There are waits for your food, getting seated at times too. Don't just take my word try it for yourself.

4 Star Rating Good was great! Just moved back to NYC from Miami and this was better than most things I’ve had there. The burrito was filling and tasty. The potatoes had great crisp on them. Will definitely get it again. My wife said “there’s no reason chicken and waffles should be this good.” I had a little piece of the cinnamon waffle and I sure wanted more. The coffee wasn’t all that. But then again. I only got black drip coffee. Otherwise I’m definitely coming back and will be recommending it to anyone who hasn’t been here yet.

3 Star Rating First time coming to Shane's Brooklyn ; FYI be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes on Sundays since this is a popular brunch spot. The host Chris was great he was able to call our phones and let us know when our table was ready. Once we were seated downstairs we were able to get our drinks fairly quickly. The mimosas are very flavorful & strong; there is three different flavors you can choose from mango, strawberry and I'm not sure if the third one is pineapple or orange. Atmosphere: Basic tables and chairs No-Frills here. Not the place if you looking for decor. Now let's get into the food: I ordered the fried whitening sandwich w/ fries as well as the fried shrimp. My friends ordered the shrimp and grits and the cinnamon waffles. My friends love their food , since they usually come here and they always get the grits. For me the food was mediocre at best but depending on your taste buds you might like it, they did however provided hot sauce and ketchup on the table which helped a lot. The portion size however is amazing!! the only real issue I was having was a lack of flavor; fries wasn't well done and the fried shrimp taste like the oil it was fried in. Our server seems a little bit out of it, I'm not sure if she was tired or on medications that day 🤔 lol. Overall service was good. I would like to give a special shout out to the manager Ken because he was bussing tables as well as checking on everyone's table making sure everyone was okay and enjoying themself. In conclusion would I check this place out again? maybe just NOT on a Sunday and I might try something different on the menu and give this place a second shot.

3 Star Rating Mediocre food. Certainly not bad but the shredded chicken itself is pretty bland. I don’t think it was marinated. Pretty heavy on the mayo. 3.5 stars for food Knocked down a half star because of the pricing. Post tax and pre tip, a banh mi cost $10.50 (the menu used to list $7.50 and now lists $8.50, so there’s some mystery massive surcharge being added in addition to the tax - and credit card processing is not that expensive).

3 Star Rating A Mexican place run entirely by Asians. Welcome to New York. I had the chorizo burrito. The food inside was ok, the chorizo perhaps a little dry and the tomatoes were watery and flavorless. What pissed me off was the lack of knowledge of how to wrap a burrito (see picture). I would love to watch a Millennial blogger from the Huffington Post lecture these people on cultural appropriation. I paid $8.50 for the burrito and a 20oz coke. A decent price point for this area of BK given the proximity to the park, BK Museum, and income level of the local residents. CASH ONLY - ATM Fee = $1.79

I dont think my picture does it justice but the dish smelled so good I had to eat immediately. Each side dish was fresh and flavorful, and balanced out so well! The vegan chicken is juicy and so well seasoned. Looking forward to dining in next time. They have a beautiful patio in the back with alot of open sky. I got the large platter it was indeed LARGE. 2 Star Rating I went to Eve's for brunch, with my family. The server was very nice but needed some more training. Being friendly is only a part of being a good server. She went to give us placemats and felt like locking her finger to help separate the paper placemats was the way to go. 👎🏽 The drinks we ordered were good and on point. However, the food was another situation. Me and my daughter both ordered shrimp and grits. My husband ordered fish and grits. Our grits looked more like soup and tasted like nothing. My husband's fish was overcooked crispy on the outside and dried out on the inside. With the soupy grits, we were not given any spoons. I asked the server for 3 spoons and she bought us 3 plastic spoons that she was holding in her bare hands (spoon side in palm) 👎🏽👎🏽 I tried to eat my grit soup with my fork and found chunks of grits at the bottom of bowl. Good thing we ordered the mango wings because if we hadn't, we would have been hungry. The wings were good. Once the server cleared our table, we sat there about 7-9 minutes until we asked her to bring us the bill. Over all I'll say if you want a good drink go here.

5 Star Rating Absolutely delicious new Chinese restaurant near Eastern Pkwy - Brooklyn Museum stop. A few of the best dishes to highlight: Szechuan Roast Pork Stir Fry -Sweet & smokey roast pork with a five spice and brown sugar blend is perfect for any meat lovers. Plus, the charred red peppers, onions and jalapeños are yummy! House Special Peking Noodle -Sweet dark soy sauce base with salted pork and ginger to be mixed with noodles. The balance of sweet and salty is perfect and the soy sauce egg was surprisingly delicious too. Salmon Tuna Poke Bowl -Big portion of fresh fish with mild Sriracha and kewpie mayonnaise. The kids really liked this one and finished the whole thing. House Special Fried Rice -Highly underrated! The roast pork again is amazing here, and the shrimp and fried eggs really support the fried rice. The service here was quick and friendly. The ambiance is quiet and good for families and kids.
