Was there to get a takeout pizza for counting down at the park, but we were told it could be 10-15 min wait, so we went over to the bar to grab a Hot Toddy. OMG all the servers are so nice. I MEAN REALLY NICE, esp Doug ! We even got seated to have the first few bites of our pizza after we got it since we still have a bit of time ! The pizza is yum ( got artichoke white pizza ) , the place is packed and has a good vibe !

Best pizza in Brooklyn! I love coming here. Having spent a good amount of time in Italy, I can honestly say this pizza taste authentic. My Italian friend who was born and raised in Italy is the one that introduced me to Barboncino. All the pizzas are great, you can’t go wrong! Salads are yummy too! I have to mention - service is amazing, the wine is good and the ambiance is a vibe in the best way.

Barboncino Pizza was absolutely delicious! We arrived around 7:35 PM and did not get seated until around 8:50 PM. We were able to hang out at the bar, so it all worked out. The food was delicious and came out quick, the drinks were great too. The menu is small but not small to the point where there wasn’t something for everyone. I would recommend the caprese salad & any of their pizzas with hot honey & basil added!

We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the Barboncino staff came through big time. The hostess was so friendly and accurate with her wait times, and our server Aidan was the best person we could ask for. He was personable, attentive, and went so far out of his way to ensure we were having a good experience and our birthday girl was taken care of. Everyone on staff was so lovely and had incredible poise! To top it all off, the food and drinks were marvelous. All the cocktails and Prosecco we tried were tasty and well-made, and the food was delicious and perfectly executed. We will absolutely be returning for many more visits after this one!

First time visiting this restaurant, and it wasn't a disappointment, I ordered four cheese and pepperoni pizzas and was delicious !! It's one of the best pizzas in town, I also had they one signature spicy honey!! Was a great addition to the pizza. The atmosphere and the location is not the best but are worth it, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going back there if I'm in the area !!

We were the only dine in customers. They brought us water immediately. The appetizers were excellent, though I feel the staff is not good at explaining the dishes. The Lamb saagwala is good. I wanted to try new things, so the only known thing I ordered was garlic naan. I can't handle hot spicy food, so I deliberately asked before choosing my food choices.

This place is underrated!! Food is delicious and great portions. Beautiful colors, loved the mango juice. So refreshing. So many flavors. Definitely my go to spot. It’s HALAL , thats a BIG PLUS.

We walked by and were skeptical because it was empty! Don’t let that deter you because the food, vibes, and service were all great. Nice intimate setting, soft relaxing music. Staff aren’t very chatty but meal was great!

Stroll into either door (Franklin or St. John’s) to enjoy a potent cocktail and satisfying bar food. Nice tap selection. Try the house burger or grab an Impossible. Wings and dipping sauces work fine. Casual vibes with some upscaled decor. Plenty of room for groups.

Had a good lunch with a friend here; the entrance on Franklin leads to the small part of the bar but there’s an entrance on St. John’s Pl that leads straight to the beer garden section. Went to a birthday party here and it was fantastic. These are some amazing bartenders and the atmosphere is fun and low key. Could be more dancing depending on the group, the space allows for it. There’s also a great outdoor patio.

Great spot! Perfect for groups or even if it’s just two people. You can bring your dogs. They play good music and sometimes live music. The decor is beautiful. They have a full bar. It was great to see Suntory Whiskey on the menu. And their food is delicious! I had the chicken nachos and loved it

Good lunch special for a burger, but toppings are expensive. Went for a lunch special the other day. Burger was good, but it was quite small. It does come with fries, lettuce, tomato and a pickle. Otherwise they do serve alcohol because they are part of Franklin Park bar. I wanted to get a shake too, but they are incredibly expensive. They start at $9. Staff is friendly and attentive. Most tables are 2 person tables but there are two booths available for larger parties. Place is wheelchair accessible.

5/5 for the mole and the homemade conchas. As for the atmosphere, it’s colorful and lively, the staff is happy to be there and they demonstrate it with their warmth and friendliness. Now the food was not Mexico City standards, but it was probably the best Mexican food anywhere on this side of Brooklyn. I highly recommend the chicken mole which has a velvety chocolate and nutty taste.

A tad bit busy on a weekend night so we sat outside under the heat lamp. It was warm and toasted and the food came relatively quickly. Portions were good and service was friendly. Guac and chips was ok, I only little bits of appetizers, and the empanadas was niceeeeely done. Shrimp was good for me too. My boyfriend got the platter assemble your own tacos, and the tortillas was nice and homemade.

We ran out for a quick bite and ended up at Chavela’s. They took us even though they were crowded and we did not make reservations! Make reservations! Staff was very friendly and helped us find things on the menu that we could eat. I am vegetarian. Waiter literally pulled up pictures of items on his phone to show us. Very amazing. Quick service and exclusive staff. We sat outside under a heater. Which turned out better than I thought. Very warm and cozy. Must go back and sit inside next time .

Was lucky enough to check out Chavela’s for a weekday lunch, there was still quite a few people dining. Service was kind and attentive. The decor is fantastic, bright colors and artifacts, a beautiful bar. I had the tortilla soup (delicious and so, so spicy for me!) a tamale and the mole and fish tacos. All were delicious, the tacos were definitely the stand out. Would recommend both the mole and pescado, I want to go back to try more. I didn’t feel rushed or hurried out. A great dining experience.

Went here with some friends for brunch and was a bit disappointed. For starters upon arrival the restaurant looks closed for the outside , luckily one of the staff members were outside and invited me in. Upon entering, the restaurant is very spacious and clean.( I can easily see this as the perfect venue to throw an event) . I ended up getting there way ahead of my two friends and the bartender took pity on me and offered me a mimosa on the house, which tasted amazing. Once my friends arrived, we ordered a plethora of food ranging from chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, fish and grits along with a picture of mimosas. my friend seem to enjoy their food. However, I thought the food was a bit underwhelming (I had the chicken and waffles). please know this is personal preference and also know that I’ve brunched quite a bit, and this was very underwhelming to me simply on taste. My friends seem to have enjoyed their food and didn’t make any complaints. The service was great and not too long after my friends arrived, so did the DJ. Pros: Very nice vibey atmosphere, especially once the music is going. The staff are very nice and accommodating as they needed to be a few changes made to one of my friends order because she is vegetarian. Although I did not like my food, the portion sizes were really good, especially for the price and they have vegetarian options. CONS: when they have brunch, that is the only thing available to order which sucks because the brunch menu is very limited in comparison to their dinner menu. I do think I’ll return as I do think they’re done the menu is much more appealing to me. It seems like the night scene is where it’s at up in there lololol. So for now until next time as I’ll definitely be back..

Such a lovely experience in this attractive, well-appointed restaurant. I wish I got the names of the 3 women that beautifully handled a busy evening with total professionalism and a smile, while they seemed to be short staffed. We were a party of 4. Each dish was decadent, well prepared, of good size without being too over or under sized (not too American or European). The Burratina was divine, and the Cannellini Beans and Broccoli Rabe were creamy and delicious! My husband has the Fried Pork Chop, which was flavorful with a bright arugula salad on top. Winner! The 3 of us had the Chicken with Mixed Mushrooms. It was a wonderful dish which I took home half as I completed over order but happy to have it for lunch today! This dish had a heavier sauce than I expected, but it was still tasty. Plus was a great note on the bottom of the check! Nice detail! Beautiful people and beautiful food. Thank you

One of my favorite pasta places in the neighborhood! The quality of food is phenomenal compared to the price, and it's even better than most restaurants in Little Italy! I've been here at least 5 or 7 times and it NEVER disappoints! The staff are all cool and down to earth too.

Food at Trattoria is amazing. We had pappardelle ai funghi (incredible!!!) and spaghetti alle vongole: both recipes are following the Italian cousine style. To start we had Radicchio salad and the special Endive salad with fennel, orange and olive: delicious. Neither to say we ended up with the tiramisu. The ambiance is lovely, cozy and welcoming as well as the service. Strictly suggested, we will be back! Grazie!

Woke up this morning with Hollandaise on my mind. A quick Google search led me to Aita Trattoria, and… my oh my… Google didn’t fail. From the moment I walked in, till the time I asked for a check, the entire experience was just phenomenal. All female team working in unison providing a military brigade service with a flair of a Royal Ballet. Five stars! Coffee was good, ginger lemonade gingery but the main star(s) was the food. Act 1. • SALMON FLORENTINE BENEDICT - Poached eggs, mixed grain toast, smoked salmon pastrami, spinach, bearnaise sauce (which I substituted with jalapeño hollandaise), served with rosemary home fries and mix greens. A perfectly poached egg gently hugging delicate flesh of smoked salmon resting on a rustic slice of toast. Everything covered with just the right amount of jalapeño hollandaise sauce. Rosemary home fries could possibly have been the best home fries I’ve ever had and together with simple salad, dressed lightly with vinaigrette played a supporting, but substantial role in this dining spectacle. Five stars! Intermission - Sausage of unknown pedigree Good enough, seasoned enough. Not the feature attraction. Act 2. SHRIMP HASH - Fried polenta, scallion, asparagus, bacon, fried egg. Sounds like a simple enough story, yet the flavors, textures, colors and scents were simply poetic in their perfect marriage of shrimp, polenta, asparagus, bacon and egg. Humble and rustic, yet fit for a king. Five stars! Overall an excellent performance that will linger in my mind for a good while. I will definitely come back for encore.

We had a pleasant time here enjoying some beers with good bar nosh. The bartender was friendly, helpful, and patient. The food was served hot and fast, and up to snuff; I had quality fish tacos. The fries and fried pickles were on point and we got seconds. The bathroom was clean and the crowd was easy going. Not sure why we waited so long to try a place so close to Franklin and Eastern. Laid back, chill, and easygoing.

This cozy restaurant was like stopping by a family members house for a good home cooked meal. In this case sooooo good. We ordered the Ital Veggie Jerk Chicken and the Thai-Fi Stew. Absolutely delicious, seasoned well, and made with a whole lot of love. Then we ordered the carrot cake. It was so good that we ordered another piece and it was the last piece of cake. We will be back.

My partner, 5 month old daughter, and I wandered in for an early dinner and were treated with open arms and delicious food. Chef Michael and his son were incredibly warm, gracious and fun to interact with. Chef Michael entertained our daughter while we devoured our meals. The salmon is a must and we loved the Thai-Fi stew. Ital Kitchen will without a doubt turn into a regular hangout for us.

Michael (the owner) is the NICEST. Lovely eclectic decor, lots of seating for a small place. Food was uniformly great: tender, moist, well-seasoned. The veggie jerk chicken was particularly awesome! Also, don’t miss the “Yes I” smoothie.

What a hidden gem right by the Brooklyn Museum! Chef Mike prepared a delicious spicy curry and vegan jerk chicken over basmati rice while we soaked up the chill vibes in the gorgeous outdoor garden. Thanks to Lauren for taking good care of us. Can’t wait to come back!

5/5, 10/10 EXPERIENCE AND FOOD. The crust is so light and fluffy but crispy and not heavy. The flavors are exquisite and pop with every bite. I got the Chicken Prosciutto slice and my gosh, it was amazing. Literally best pizza I’ve ever had. Legit Brooklyn Pizza joint. Crispy, thin crust pizza with the right mix of cheese and sauce. Excellent. Tiny space and very old school but not the kind of place you want to hang out because there's really no room.

Forgot to take a pic of my pizza slice lol. Ordered a chicken bruschetta deep dish slice. Solid. It’s more a to go spot with just 3-4 two seat tables. It’s a tight space but it works. The staff is very kind and professional with very Brooklyn accents. It’s authentic and I will echo what others have said in this as well - I wish this was my neighborhood pizzeria as well. I’d eat through all their options in a short time. The crust was excellent.

While in Crown Heights we were looking for a Pizza spot. Read some reviews and my family walked speedily to Joe & Sal’s Pizza. Boy, it did not disappoint! Staff was extremely friendly, and patient with us since it is our first time in town. The service was quick. The pizza was hot, delicious, crunchy bread and juicy ingredients. We are very happy with our mid-afternoon “snack”. The BBQ pizza was 100!!!
