Delicious! We got the curry special dinner for 1. It was a fun way to try multiple menu items! We also split the one between two people and it was enough for us and extremely affordable. The Mulligatawny soup was the best soup I’ve had in a long time—a must get! Naan was soft, hot, and delicious. The do-piaz curry was also very good. Comfortable indoor seating.
Update: Forgot my card here and they held onto it safely and gave me free soup! 10/10 would recommend!

An incredible Indian spot, equally good for takeout as for dine-in. They do the basics super well, chicken korma, samosas, garlic naan, they're all fantastic. But I'd also recommend the myriad of bread options, the onion kulcha in particular is fantastic.
If you're looking for a low-key date night or friend hang, I'd highly recommend it.

This place really needs more love! The food is very good with a lot of variety and its family run, the owners are always so kind. My go to is a mango lassi, pappadum, chaat and a saag curry with lamb. Rice is included and it’s enough for a round of leftovers the next day.

We ordered and loved lamb shaag curry, papadum, mango lassi, garlic naan, chicken korma(it’s sweet), kulfi ice cream, and mixed platter for appetizer(fried items like pakora and samosa). The portions are big and enough for leftovers the next day. We will definitely come back and try other items from the menu!

Just ordered the chicken tikka masala and it came to a point of shock. I used to order from here before covid and it was truly something amazing back then but today came a sweet sauce that doesn’t resemble tikka masala at all. So sweet it was just horrible. The chicken not Tandor and essentially steamed in the sauce, the rice wasn’t even salted, not a single cardamom pod added. The super cheap express version this has become. Very sad.

Hidden Gem! Worth the trip! Came for the steamed whiting , fried rice and plantain. The dish was made to perfection. Best place in brooklyn for seafood on the go! They have healthier like veggie rice and mixed veggies as a side. Order for pickup it takes a while they look short staffed but worth the wait.

First time ordering from here. It was from ubereats. I liked the variety in the sides they give you. I ordered salmon, fried rice and rasta pasta. The fried rice didn't look and taste like any I ever had. The rasta pasta was also dry. The food also was bland. However I did like the sauce they put in the bag which made it stand out. I'm curious as to what it was. It's not the pepper sauce.

I ordered a take away. Some of the best food I've had in Brooklyn!
I ordered grilled salmon with prawns, lentils and broccoli. Clean, healthy and EXTREMELY tasty. The lentils were the biggest surprise, they were so yummy!
Portion size was great and I will be eating from there again 100%%%%

This place is AWESOME!!! The salmon burger 🍔 😋 is the best fish burger that I have ever had in my entire life!! please 🙏🏾 try this burger!! All of the salmon dishes are slammin! The garlic sauce 😋 👌🏿 the service and staff are just as good as the food! My family recently visited from Florida and I ordered 6 salmon burgers at one time! Then I came back later that evening to get individual salmon dishes! 😋 The guy who waited on me said 2x.in one day? I said yep! My family wanted to try more dishes! I easily spent $200 that day! It was worth it!!! My family loved the food! I'm a foodie, so if I say a place is good, you can trust me! Being born and raised in Clinton Hill where there are a bunch of restaurants, and traveling to and from the Bahamas (where my family is from), and different countries and islands-Greece, Anguilla, St. MARTEN the Bahamas-just to name a few.., I love good food! And to have a place nestled in Flatbush BK that serves FRESH good food, is music to my ears! Thank you Jus Fishy for great food and an awesome staff!!

This was very satisfying. Oversized fries, jumbo shrimp season to perfection with dipping sauce and hand made hot sauce. You won't be disappointed. They would have gotten five stars but their efficiency needs fine tuning. The spot is small so you can forget dining in. The payment system is on par with today tech so you can print a receipt or have it emailed. Call ahead of time to help expedite your orders, because the place is business.

I wanted to try something different from what I usually order out for delivery. This hit the spot. Stuffed grape leaves were nice and fresh. The beet salad was also fresh and tasted good as well. Loved the humus and tahini sauce, which added a nice flavor to the chicken swarma plate. Only criticism is there wasn't enough rice. However, food is very tasty, and I would reorder these food items again.

The best falafel I've eaten in this neighborhood. They no longer have indoor seating, so it's kinda awful to dine outside while it's so cold out. I'd recommend ordering ahead or get a take out. Service is relatively slow since they always seem to have orders coming in.

The most wonderful experience today. I showed up with my hungry visiting family and although they were still 30 min from opening, the owner and chef did his best to get us set up outside in the lovely outdoor area as soon as possible.
The friendly chef/owner personally took our orders and was so helpful in helping every person get what they wanted. Everything we ordered was spectacular, and very generous portions too. We got the chicken shawarma platter, 2 sabikh/borekka orders, a falafel pita, shakshuka with merguez and a side of cheese borekas. All were amazing and I would easily order any of them again, and the various members of the group who are pickier were also happy, a miracle.
I eat a lot of Mediterranean food so was expecting something more standard, but the chef did some fun spins on the traditional and really excelled. Flavors and quality all exceeded expectations, and in a pleasant atmosphere with the best service. I don't live nearby, but definitely plan on making a special trip to come back.
Thank you once again for being so helpful and accommodating and for making such wonderful food!!

Ordered some chicken skewers for pickup and the food was fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had such big white meat skewers that weren't dry. I love how it was flavorful but not too salty. You definitely get a lot of food. The cucumber salad was on the salty side. Looked like there was several tables in a cute outdoor space on the street as well.

This food was excellent! There was a mix up with my delivery and the restaurant called to explain everything and ended up issuing my food for free. They were very kind and courteous. I look forward to ordering from here again.

Food was tasty but overpriced compared to other Japanese restaurants. The vegetable cup was about 80% rice. Best thing I got was the shrimp dumpling miso soup with two extra pieces. They did not include chopsticks in the delivery despite ordering sushi.

We've gotten delivery a few times. I always get the Pollo Inferno which comes in a super good and weird (in the best possible way) balsamic vinegar and cherry pepper sauce. It also comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli sides. My partner gets caprese salad with a side of meatballs which is good too. I'm taking off one point because the fried Zucchini had a bunch of lemon wedges shoved on top in the take out container so that when that dish came, a lot of it was soggy and had an overwhelming lemon taste. Still, I totally recommend this Gino's (which taste-wise I prefer to the much more famous Gino's in Bay Ridge)

I cannot tell you the amount of times I have ordered on the website or Uber Eats and got wrong orders. I either got someone else's order, or staff does not follow dietary instructions, or a few items are missing. Ineptness occurs pretty often. I don't know if certain items are out of stock and they just don't include the item or staff is just not great at fulfilling orders. And it seems the same issue happens in person. ALWAYS thoroughly check your order before leaving no matter how simple it is. Even if it's just a beverage you asked for, check it to be sure they fulfilled the order correctly. The staff need to work on fulfilling orders accurately.
Rating for Food is a 2 because they could possibly mess up your order (missing/wrong items, missing ingredients or wrong ingredients altogether).
Rating for Service is a 3 because while staff are nice in person, they lack skills to fulfill delivery orders. That is a big deal considering there are customers who were looking forward to what they had requested.
Rating for Atmosphere is a 5 because the establishment seems to be kept fairly clean.

The best GC in NYC! I do NOT just give out 5 stars... this spot has been a staple in our community for as long as I can remember. The food quality has remained consistently above the bar, fresh and authentic. The service isn't like your stereotypical "wi nah hav dat".. they actually value customer service, and it shows. Not only my personal experience but the patience I've observed them maintain while dealing with difficult customers is noteworthy. You can tell the owner has standards, and it's definitely from the top-down. Had to take the time to big yall up!

I have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years and have know this restaurant from then to now the food has always been delicious the lady is very nice and she remembers who you are even if you call on the phone I have seen her kids grow up when they would be here the menu now has many new and exciting dishes my person favorite has been the house special fry rice you get a bet of pork, chicken, shrimps and beef you add some soy sauce and hot sauce and it's an instant plate for dinner or shrimp fry rice I personally pay for the large shrimps rather than the small. My husband likes the fry pork chops and yes I have taken a few bites from him, but my new thing now is the steam shrimp dumplings oh boy and with the sauce they give you its oh la la but my secret is before I add the sauce I cut them in half so it really soaks up the sauce. Look if you're in the mood try any of my favorites or seek out what you like as I said the menu has new dishes and their food is delicious they also do delivery or if your like me and live close by its and easy pick up.

Great brunch/food menu by Palenque, surprised more people aren’t here on a Saturday or Sunday! If you are looking for a delicious, flavorful and healthy brunch - definitely make this your next weekend brunch spot.
I just spent about 2 months in Colombia and Palenque is by far more delicious than any Colombian food I had while traveling. Well done!
Notable: The entire menu is gluten-free!!

We can't believe our good fortune that the beyond-delicious Palenque landed smack dab in our neighborhood (Prospect Lefferts). We're there at least once a week, sometimes twice or three times. The environment is lush, loaded with happy plants alongside a funky bar in a chill yoga studio complex. And the food: wowsa. The maduro and costeña arepa are our favorites (oh, and the fresh guanabana juice), but it's all fabulous. Thanks, Palenque, for "popping up" near us and making life better.
Jan Lindsay-Smith - 5 months ago
The food is honestly fine, however the price and portions are just completely unreasonable.
For example, they have a single maduro on the menu for $9. Alternatively, for the same price and 20 minutes, you could get about 16 plátanos and make your own maduros.
Or just go somewhere else with better portions.
