4 Star Rating The concept behind the restaurant is very very cool, and walking through the bar area into the back room you really do feel like you’re about to get locked into a vault. There were tons of small details to give the restaurant an original bank feel, including a giant class that had shredded money in it. The ambiance was great, the food was just fine. We ordered the tuna and salmon tartar and hummus to start. Neither were anything original or out of this world. For dinner we got the wagyu burger and the duck risotto. The burger was a regular burger, and we have another place downtown that had a better quality, lower price so I wouldn’t recommend. The duck was quite nice, and the risotto had plenty of mushrooms in it, but the duck portion was a bit small compared to the risotto. all in all the dinner was fine.

5 Star Rating good food, good vibes, okay drinks. came here with someone who’s a regular here and he said the turkey burger > regular burger. turkey burger was pretty darn good (and not heavy at all) the cocktails were ok; i wouldn’t come back for them but not mad i tried them. the wall st sour (basically a whiskey sour) was decent, the rum drink (harvest something?) was weird, new amsterdam was also weird, and the spritz was ok

5 Star Rating Arrived 15 mins late to reservation but was still honored the table, for NYE it wasn’t packed. The food was prepared in great portion, the sides were sharable & everything tasted excellent. Hostess was quick, efficient & the restaurant is beautiful slightly dark but nice design.. overall great experience.

4 Star Rating The ambience and the service was great. The bread on the table is great too. However, the truth is the steak wasn’t so great. My friend ordered a filet mignon and it was both overcooked and dry. Surprisingly, it was the worst piece of meat when it was supposed to be the most tender. The two other pieces, a dry aged NY strip and the rib eye were average. They didn’t excel in their flavours and the rib eye was very chewy and fatty. The best piece of the table was the lamb chop, but this shouldn’t have been the case for a steakhouse. The seafood starter was not fresh. The lobster tails and the shrimps tasted out of season. I would not recommend ordering. I really wanted to try this restaurant and after this experience I have to sadly admit that it is bot worth spending for a fine dining experience if the quality of the food is fluctuating and leaning toward the lower end. We spent $120 per person.

5 Star Rating The level of service was excellent. Very polite and accommodating staff. Food was very tasty. Would recommend the clam chowder, crème brûlée cheesecake and Ribeye. The sides are excellent. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Not a fan of the bread, but I’m not a bread guy so that could just be me.

2 Star Rating For now I would say stay away from this restaurant. I think they are having staffing issues effecting all levels of service. For a finer quality dining place this was poor. The older man that was the host when we entered was the high point for service. The server was a waitress and not particularly professional. To order took far to long, the cooking of the food took to long, and when it was delivered it wasn't to the right people with sides spread throughout the table instead of to the people who ordered them. The manager is a tall black man who definitely needs work on his customer service. The table next to us had a harsh discussion with him when he arrived unexpectedly to tell them their policy is to group all checks and include gratuity since they sat together although only half had food. He refused to split their check except some drinks but would not let them choose their gratuity. He kept saying he was in charge instead of being professional. I paid for our table and after waiting for 20 minutes for our check people started to leave. I had to leave the table and find the servers station. I explained people were leaving and asked how much longer it would be for my check. Instead of her answering he stood up and said just tell them it will be five more minutes. Everything could have been more professional. It was more of an experience for fast food than fine dining regarding service. I know everyone is having staffing issues, but when the meal is expensive the expectation is a higher level of service which is not found here right now. I'd say check back in six months.

5 Star Rating I was blown away with the decor, the ambience and even the smell of this place lol. From the detailed walls to the bronze eagle statues throughout, it was breathtaking. I had the seared sea bass it was fresh, a thick-cut portion of the fish, was moist inside plus the top and bottom of the fish had this thin, flavorful crust that I will not forget. The staff were attentive, kind and were happy to serve you. The host that check me in came over to me while sitting to ask if the service is good. I really appreciated that. Cheers the my host Eden, she’s amazing! GO HERE!

4 Star Rating Mexican is not one of my favorite genres, and it's primarily because the combo of my texture-based palate and the crunchy shizzle that hangs out in a lot of the food isn't an ideal fit. If I like a Mexican place, it's usually because it's very, very simple/no frills, and that's Tajin in a nutshell. I came here with my Skipper for lunch on Friday, which was a miserable rainy day, the kind where you're venturing out MAYBE one or two blocks from the office. The walk from the office took approximately three minutes, and we were able to get inside with minimal dampness. I don't think it would be fair to call Tajin a dive; (the Skipper might disagree based on her recounting of a horrendous bathroom visit) but it's a pretty basic interior, with some sugar skull-esque art on the wall, and almost a diner vibe when it came to some of the tables/seating. We sat towards the back, which had a view of the bar area where the waitstaff lingered, making it very easy to get someone's attention for a drink, the check, etc. This might not be a selling point for a ton of people, but I was THRILLED to look over, say, the quesadilla section of the menu and see two or three ingredients per item. You start to lose me at a certain point when the items are covered in peppers, onions, etc., so when I saw that the chicken quesadilla contained nothing but chicken and cheese, I didn't hesitate. The quesadilla showed up within a few minutes, and hit the spot. As you can see from the attached, it came with a small pile of guac on the top, which I spread around the top. The guac was a LITTLE crunchy for my taste, but was relatively smooth. Definitely some solid comfort food on a day where I barely remembered what the sun looked like. I also ordered a few passion fruit margaritas; the Skipper is far more educated about these matters and recommended I get the tajin rim (I of course obliviously went into this place not knowing what Tajin meant) which jived perfectly with the drink - nice little nip to go with the sweet. I'm pretty ambivalent about margs, having had a ton of bad ones that practically sent me into insulin shock, so it's always a pleasant surprise when someone mixes them properly and you don't end up crashing later. It was light and tasty, and I'd absolutely get it again. This is probably two or three blocks from a pretty hardcore touristy area, but it certainly gets some of that foot traffic. As a result, they could definitely charge more for the food/drinks but I thought it was very reasonable for the neighborhood. The Skipper had a glass of wine that was $9, the margs were $12, and my quesadilla was around $13, I believe. Given that there are nearby restaurants that unhesitatingly offer $40/$50 entrees, you could do a lot worse to your wallet if you wanted to. We're adding this one to the list for future visits. Convenient, cheap and tasty.

5 Star Rating Lovely little spot with plenty of character! We stopped in for brunch and left very satisfied. Fair prices and the workers made me feel welcomed from the minute I stepped in. The girlfriend is vegan which can be a nightmare when eating out. However, they are very accommodating with the menu and she was able to eat. The meal was worth every dollar. Ivan, our server, was wonderful and very helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're in the area!

5 Star Rating My fiance and I decided to grab breakfast at George's yesterday before our visit to the Statue of Liberty, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We were seated promptly upon arrival. The diner certainly had an authentic New York City vibe, and it was bustling with locals, which added to the charm. I opted for one of the classic egg dishes, while my fiance had the the red velvet pancakes. Both dishes were not only fantastic value for money but also tasted delicious. We were thoroughly satisfied with our choices. While the potatoes served with the breakfast were something I hadn’t tried before, I would say I personally prefer the more traditional hash browns. However, this was a minor preference, and it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of our meal. The service was excellent, and the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to throughout our meal. Without a doubt, the food was great, and we would highly recommend George's to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic NYC breakfast experience.

Unless you arrive super early there's usually a queue but luckily the restaurant is run very efficiently so it usually goes down quickly. The omelets, Eggs Benny and French toast are all great and it's fun to people watch and let the world go by as you enjoy your food. If you're staying downtown I'd definitely recommend this place.

If you didn’t know this place is Kosher you would never guess, the ambiance, the setting and the service is up to par and it’s definitely worth every penny. My favorite dishes were: tuna truffle sushi roll, crispy rice tuna, wagyu steak, assorted mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes as a side. Wine selection is beyond any average kosher restaurant, you can tell that a professional sommelier worked on it. Caesar salad was fresh and not too saucy. Fries were average... but the Coney Island Pilsner was the perfect beer for the meal. Drinks weren’t overly expensive and for the good burgers and nice atmosphere i’d definitely recommend trying out bills if your in the area :))

5 Star Rating They have at least 5 gluten free options and vegan options as well. My boyfriend is gluten intolerant and he really enjoyed his muffin. I had a vegan muffin and it was amazing. Everything is great but their coffee is PERFECT. I’ve never tasted such good coffee.

5 Star Rating Amazing coffee shop and by far my go to in NYC. Their lattes are always amazing and have the best latte art as well. The staff here is always so kind and always has a fantastic memory for customers. It’s a must visit!

4 Star Rating A good coffee shop with an hilarious sloth mascot. Friendly service, good selection of pastries. A solid, medium body espresso (I had a 4 shot 20oz Americano) that will pair nicely with a wide range of bakery treats. I had a vegan bar, it was like a vegie packed soft oatmeal cookie - I recommend sharing it as it is dense and filling - think oatmeal with all the fixings in a bar.
