Best Value Boston Hotels near Subway Stations on the T

Boston is a fabulous city to visit with plenty to see and do, but it is not an inexpensive city to stay in. Boston Hotels are some of the most expensive in the country, but our recommendations offer some of the best value available. If you book well ahead, you can get some pretty good discounts during certain times of the year. You'll get better value on the outskirts of the downtown area which isn’t bad if you’re within walking distance of the subway. We’ve selected these Boston hotels near the subway (called the T by locals) based on their overall value. They range from 2 to 4 stars, to meet a variety of needs and price points.

Hotels offering the best value soon become known by regular visitors to the city, so book your room well in advance to get the best deal. Last minute bookings rarely save you money in high demand cities and sometimes cost much more.

You’ll often find the best deals on hotels located Downtown on weekends, so we’ve included a few that frequently offer weekend discounts.

Downtown hotels, in particular, tend to charge high parking fees. Rates sometimes exceed $50 per night (ouch), so if you are driving to Boston, you’ll save more staying in the outskirts where parking is often free. From there you can take the train into the city centre and leave the hassle of driving and parking in an unfamiliar city behind.
