The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but not breakfast, however there are numerous other cafes within steps of the hotel. Receives very good reviews from verified guests. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms for an additional fee. You should reserve your room well ahead as this is a small property.

This property is just steps away from the scenic Woolloomoolo Bay and its numerous waterfront restaurants. It is also just a short walk from the Art Gallery of NSW and the famous Royal Botanic Gardens. The Central Business District and its many attractions are also within a reasonable walking distance or you can take the train from Kings Cross Station which is just an 8 minute walk from the hotel. Note that all rooms are non-smoking.

Close to all modes of public transport including the CBD Free Shuttle Bus. Also within walking distance of many popular Sydney attractions. The breakfast is good, but pricey. Unfortunately internet is not free and is not available in all rooms.

Mini Review: Like they say in real estate, it's all about location, and the Megaboom City Hotel has it hands down - at a reasonable price too. Perhaps that's why it is one of the most popular hotels in Sydney. It's close to a couple of train stations, but who cares when you can walk to just about every major attraction in the city. Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, Madame Tussuads, Wild Life Sydney, Sydney Tower, Hyde Park, Queen Victoria Building, Sydney Town Hall, Chinatown, Royal Botanic Garden, The Rocks - I can go on and on, are all within walking distance. You can't get more centrally located than that.

We highly recommend this property if you like to save money by preparing some of your own meals. Eating out during your vacation adds up very quickly. The fully equipped kitchen and in suite laundry can make it less expensive staying here than many lower priced properties. They also have a fitness centre and offer massage and babysitting services. Nearby attractions include the Sydney Aquarium, Wild Life Sydney, Sydney Tower, Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney Opera House, The Rocks, Art Gallery of NSW and more. Because of the central location you'll be able to walk to any of them. If there is any downside, it is that you have to pay extra for Wi-Fi.

Mini Review: When you visit Sydney, it is pretty certain you'll want to spend a considerable amount of time exploring the historic Rocks. Built in 1887, the Russell Hotel In The Rocks is a part of that history. It's surrounded by all manner of things to see and do and only a 2 minute walk from Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour where you can enjoy a ride on a Sydney Ferry or take the train to other parts of the city. This hotel is also close to the Syndey Opera House and the Rocks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and there is a lovely rooftop terrace where you can enjoy spectacular views. When booking, be aware that the lowest priced rooms have shared baths.
