5 Star Rating Came here with a friend for a casual dinner and this place did not disappoint! Toughest part was walking up a flight of stairs but after that, you've found yourself on a nice spacious rooftop patio complete with a bar and ample TV screens for sports fans. Ordered the the Smoked Pork Chop grilled with maple BBQ sauce (with fries and coleslaw). My buddy got the Chicken Strips (with fries). The Pork Chop was tender and meaty while that maple BBQ sauce imparted such an addictive sweet & savoury flavour to the dish. The Chicken Strips were good too, nicely battered and crispy without being dry on the inside. Fries and salad were also good. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, highly recommend this place to all! 5/5.

5 Star Rating I don’t know how I’ve never been here before! The rooftop patio is absolutely amazing. It’s very breezy and doesn’t get too hot. The service was also exceptional. Me and my GF ordered spicy Caesars which were amazing but very very spicy. The bartender could see it on our face that it was hot so she gave us extra tomato juice. The famous wings were also some of the best I had. I opted for the hot and the lemon pepper. I enjoyed my time at Pilot and would definitely return

2 Star Rating Haven’t been here in years, it was kind of quiet for a Saturday night. We sat on the main floor, it was a little cold. Drinks came out quick and tasted ok. The flat bread we all got were burnt. Don’t know if they were having an off night. Overall had an okay time, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

4 Star Rating My partner and I visited on a Wednesday for a late lunch, so it wasn’t busy at all. The server was so warm and welcoming, and helped us choose seats that weren’t under direct sun. The food is on the pricier end, which didn’t match up to the taste/quality of the chicken wings that my partner ordered. I got the jerk chicken wrap, which was a bit small, on the dry side, but still well-seasoned and at least it didn’t get too sloppy. A big problem with some outdoor patios are wasps, so we really appreciated the traps they set up to keep them occupied. Overall, we enjoyed our visit!

2 Star Rating Looked like a great place to eat. It's a unique concept but I wasn't impressed after coming here twice to eat. Both my friend and I had hard and dry potatoes, food was bland, the atmosphere was cold (literally) and the service was terrible. We were the only ones in the restaurant but it seemed that the servers had better things to do than to serve its customers. Not impressed by the food, price, service and atmosphere.

5 Star Rating Great place to enjoy and experience teppanyaki. Service on point and the food was delicious. You really don't need the sauces as the food is already well seasoned. I would just get plain rice next time around and skip the $8 add on for fried rice.

5 Star Rating First of all, there are two sides to the restaurant, and the entrance is on the Sushi side. If you are coming for Teppanyaki and have no reservation, you need to specifically tell them that you are there for Teppanyaki. I still highly recommend that you make reservation. Next, as expected in the Bloor-Yonge area, parking is extremely limited. You can either try your luck and drive around, or just go straight to the Green P in Yorkville Ave. Once you are seated (but your group is not big enough), you kind of have to wait a little until your table is full, and again for the chef. Now, the service was amazing, and the food was pretty good. It was very interesting that (almost) everything has Wasabi Icecream in it. The fried rice was quite a bit more expensive, $8 extra I believe, but I would recommend that at least one person in the group try it.

5 Star Rating I came in around 11:45am and felt like I was the only person in the restaurant! They sat me down in the corner of the regular part of the restaurant and a sea of people started coming in at lunch time and the restaurant was full. I ordered the shrimp teppanyaki lunch and it was delicious! Not too salty and just the right amount of food and very well priced for getting soup rice and veg with the shrimps. The service was really good too! Would love to come back to sit at the tables and try the sushi.

5 Star Rating My partner and I stopped in early in the morning for breakfast at this place, 7 west cafe. Our hotel is very close so we googled restaurants that were open for breakfast and we chose this one and we were not disappointed. We both got the breakfast special which I think is the all of the time breakfast which is only $10 between 6 and 9:00 a.m. the value of what we received for the price we paid is outstanding! I actually recommend they increase the price of the special because at $10 they're only making pennies on a breakfast. Breakfast includes eggs cooked how you like, fries, toast, a choice of bacon or sausage, and coffee. I think it's supposed to come with fruit but ours came with a pancake instead. Compared to the other breakfasts available in the area, this has to be hands down the cheapest, best breakfast around. The inside of the cafe is quaint, with earth tones, wood furniture, and wood floors. Delightful french music in the dining area. Our servers were thorough and came to check on us. I have no complaints about any of the food. The only criticism I could offer is that I feel like the furniture is a little old and I think the floors could benefit from a buffing. I will return

5 Star Rating I ordered nachos, and garlic bread for appetisers. Both the menu items were great and presentation was also appealing. For dinner, I ordered Penne Arrabiata Pasta and Margarita Pizza with tomato sauce. Presentation was fine for both, but taste wise, pasta was better. Pizza was close to average in taste. For desert, I ordered double chocolate cake and red velvet. Both the cakes were super delicious and did justice to their menu section of dessert, namely “Bit of Bliss”. Service was great, the order was taken correctly and served accurately. Lastly, Atmosphere was 5 star, suitable for outing with a group of friends or a date night.

4 Star Rating This resto has been around for a while now. It is a popular late night eatery ( 24 hrs. ) with the university / hip crowd. The brunch menu only is in effect from 10AM-3PM. The food and the portions are fabulous. The drinks can accompany many of their dishes here. I had the steak and eggs 🥚 and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. The portions were generous. The fries were fresh and delish. The service is friendly and attentive. The setting in a “ Edwardian “ home 🏠 from a time long since gone is nostalgic and charming. This is not my first visit and it will not be my last 😀. Happy Eats everyone 😎

5 Star Rating For fans of Smith (and Wish) who miss their food, thank your lucky stars that 7 West continues to be firmly planted on Charles Street. Everything here exceeded my expectations. The decor is cozy and Victorian and they open up their little romantic balcony when the weather is warm. The service is incredibly quick even when the little restaurant is packed. And the dishes are huge. The warm french toast was a perfect comfort food dish and the avocado toast is served with a huge side salad. The best part? It’s open 24 hours. We walked in and were immediately seated at 12 noon on a Saturday.

5 Star Rating Sassafraz was a perfect wedding venue. Our late-November, 70-person wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour upstairs, followed by dinner in the dining room, and the back upstairs for dancing. The venue is already so beautiful that only minor decoration was required; in the dining room, we opted for white tablecloths, greenery garlands with candles. The dining room looked magical. Even though we were well below the dining room’s capacity, the Sassafraz team set up the space, so it still felt full and well-used. Upstairs, a flower arch and a few flower arrangements by the bar were all the decoration that were required. We gladly leveraged much of the signage that Sassafraz provided instead of bringing our own, this included menus, table numbers, cocktail menu, and welcome sign. We were also able to find many great photo spots within the restaurant, with the bonus of being able to take a few pictures in the park across the street with the holiday lights. The food was exceptional! Our guests certainly agreed as we got rave reviews all evening and in the following days. We cannot thank Dennette, the in-house event manager, and the rest of the Sassafraz team enough for all their help and guidance in the lead up to our big day and on the night of. Dennette is wonderful; she is exceptionally prompt in responding to questions and comes with great ideas. On the night of, all the staff were excellent. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a landmark night. I appreciate how accommodating the staff was in working with our vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. Sassafraz, thank you for everything. You will certainly be seeing us again - most definitely for our anniversary but I don't think we'll be able to wait that long! 5 Star Rating I wanted to explore beyond Yonge Street and I found this great place, you might miss it because it's nested below street level but look for it, you won't regret it. They are conveniently open late. First you are welcome to a great barista guy which suggests you a good drink and what cheese cake pair it with. Then you pick between indoor or outdoor sitting. The cheesecake is fabulous, it has a great texture and a very tasty flavour without being overpowered by the sugar level. The ingredients in there are properly mixed for you to enjoy. Their coffee selection is very good. I had the opportunity to try the Spanish Coffee and it was good, the alcohol flavour was properly mixed. The staff is very good that I had the opportunity to try another coffee drink that didn't disappoint either.

4 Star Rating Korean Grill House is a good spot for a last minute date. The atmosphere and staff were welcoming and attentive. If it's just for two, no booking is required. It is a perfect place for those who are tying Korean BBQ for the first time. The staff were friendly and always accommodating. The service was fast, there was minimal wait for the food. A bonus was that the staff offered the table a limited time beef tenderloin, which was really good! The food was delicious, we went with the all-you-can-eat menu ($36/person, holiday price). There were a variety of options including some that were vegetarian friendly. The meats that we ordered were beef, beef ribs, chicken, squid, salmon, fish fillets, pork belly, and lamb. We ordered rice as our side and also ordered mushrooms, onions, and pineapple. The chicken breast and chicken wings were part of the limited time menu but included with the all-you-can-eat. Every dish comes well seasoned and marinated, all you need to worry about is cooking it as you'd like. The meats are thin but still filling. The drinks however.. are a little pricey. We ordered the Long Island Iced Tea and the Lemon Drop. Both drinks had an overpowering taste of alcohol which made it hard to enjoy. Which was a little disappointing as one cocktail was $10.99. Also.. the Korean Soju is $21.00 for a 369ml bottle. However, Korean Grill House is in an excellent spot that is easily accessible with TTC. There is also a Green P parking garage located across the street and plenty of street parking. Overall, we enjoyed the experience offered by Korean Grill House and will definitely visit once more. 2 Star Rating *AYCE Lunch Menu* FOOD: you get what you pay for. It's dirt cheap so the quality of the food is pretty bad and also not many options. Meat is very chewy, beef was bad and has dark color (not fresh). They sit in a bath of blood on the plate. Side dish and vegetable is limited to 2-3 options. Big thing is the grill has huge holes on it so your meat might fall down, heat was too high and there's no control over it. SERVICE: the lady looked annoyed and very impatient, later on I have a waiter (who look like the manager) has a better attitude. INSIDE: feels a little greasy and sticky from the table to the floor to me.

5 Star Rating This Korean Grill House location is my family and I’s absolute favourite. The food is consistently good, the servers treat us like family, and the experience never gets old! The servers here quickly started to recognize my family and I, and would greet us accordingly. They always thank us for coming and say they can’t wait to see us again! We really appreciate how prompt, friendly and attentive they are! Ordering here is very simple: each table has its own QR code which you scan and select your meal options, then select the items you want at your own pace. The service is always SUPER PROMPT (items come out almost immediately), and with the AYCE option, you can get as much as you want with no time limit! Our favourite meat to get and cook by far is their regular beef, which always comes super tender, marbled and marinated in their delicious sauce. We also love their rice, squid and vegetable options (such as the pineapple, onions and mushrooms) for the KBBQ. Their signature sauce they have to go with the meats is also delicious. We love coming here for the All-You-Can-Eat option, and we cook until our hearts’ content! My fiancé also loves to get their iced strawberry mojitos, which are super sweet and refreshing! For dessert, they offer a complimentary scoop of strawberry or mango ice cream, which is always cold, creamy, and refreshing after a greasy (yet tasty!) KBBQ meal. It can get very busy here, especially on weekends, so getting a reservation may be a good option. I highly recommend coming here for some delicious KBBQ and great service!

And the upstairs patio is gorgeous with windows all around in the cold to keep you warm. The food tasted great, but it was a little more pricey than some places. The nachos were loaded with toppings, but a little light on the cheese. However the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich was to die for. Very filling, great services, amazing vibe!

4 Star Rating Food is good. Sticky pudding dessert was awesome. Ambiance/atmosphere is definitely geared towards australian football fans. We went on a day when a game was on. It was so rowdy I couldn't hear myself think let alone have a conversation. So unless that's your crowd, I would avoid game times. Would probably come back and ask for a table away from TVs 😂

5 Star Rating We had dinner at Hemingway's last night. We did not have a reservation but ended up getting seated right away. Even though it was early, the restaurant was very busy. The staff were very helpful. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks came out quickly followed by the sirloin bites. They were tender and flavorful. We then ordered our entrees. I received my soup and it was delicious! It was a bit of a wait for our entrees but the food made up for the delay. It was all amazing. We passed our plates around so everyone could try the food. We had jambalaya, sirloin steak and the jerk chicken burrito in a bowl. Kudos to the kitchen - the flavors were all spot on! We saved room for dessert and had the cheesecake and pavlova. Again, a wonderful job! It was great to see the staff work together to tackle the large groups and large volume of people during the holiday! Great teamwork!

4 Star Rating Good vibrant atmosphere or chill, take your pick and find your spot. The real winner here is the Fish & Chips. A huge piece of perfectly lightly fried and fluffy haddock, so fresh and delicious. This was surprisingly a top 3 for me off all time best Fish & Chips anywhere in the world I’ve been. I’m not a fan of coated fries, but they were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, even the Cole slaw side was great too. Definitely would order this again and again; so yummy. And another plus was the price, at $18, what a crazy good value for a nice sized portion. Highly recommend.

4 Star Rating I enjoyed my visit to this bustling Italian restaurant in Toronto's Yorkville at 1:30 pm, where a lineup was still present. The restaurant offers delightful comfort food, with standout dishes like the fresh kale salad and tasty pizza. The service was commendable, enhancing the overall dining experience in this upscale neighborhood.

5 Star Rating My friend and I came in when it was getting busy, so it was a little crowded inside. We got the mushroom pasta, which we thought was delicious, and the house bread, which we found tasty but cold. The server was nice and it was a good experience overall.

4 Star Rating Overall a pleasant place with decent food but far too pricey for the quality. Pizza is great, tomato sauce is delicious. We also had the mushroom pasta, burrata, and risotto which weren't anything notable. The service was also warm and energetic. The atmosphere was lacking, the chairs are all peeling and creaky which is a little bit of a nuisance.
