EdgeWalk at the CN Tower
The CN Tower rises to a breathtaking height above Downtown Toronto providing visitors with spectacular views of the city for miles around
The EdgeWalk at the CN Tower holds the Guinness World Record for the highest walk on the exterior of any building.
By its very nature , the EdgeWalk experience is thrilling and participants must be at least 13 years of age and in good physical condition. To participate in this exhilerating adventure you will put on a special jumpsuit and wear a harness attached to a track that allows you to not only walk around the ledge on the exterior of the tower, but to also lean out over the edge.
The complete experience lasts for 1.5 hours which includes between 20 and 30 minutes walking and hanging out on the outside ledge. Visitors are accompanied by expert guides and each receives a video, a printed photo of themself on the walk and a commemorative certificate. While not inexpensive, the EdgeWalk at the CN Tower will give you the memory of a lifetime and also includes a Tower Experience Ticket which gives you admission to the Himalamazon Motion Theatre Ride, the Legends of Flight 3D movie, the SkyPod, the Glass Floor and the Lookout. When you put it all together it's an amazing package.
The EdgeWalk is a seasonal attraction and is only available by advance booking. It is very popular so you should book well ahead of your vacation.

EdgeWalk at the CN Tower Reviews
Rated out of 5![]()
Did the EdgeWalk at the CN Tower and it was honestly unreal. The first step outside hits you like a shock, but the safety setup is solid and everything is run professionally. Huge shoutout to my instructor Mitchell (@stromyspice) — she’s sharp, confident, and knows exactly how to keep people calm without treating anyone like a kid. Her instructions were clear, her vibe was solid, and she made the whole experience way more fun than I expected.
The views are insane, leaning off the edge is the perfect mix of terrifying and addictive, and the whole experience is absolutely worth it. If you want something that actually pushes you instead of another basic tourist activity, this is the one. I'd do it again without thinking twice.

If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime thrill in Toronto, EdgeWalk at the CN Tower is the ultimate adventure! From the moment we suited up to the final step back inside, the experience was both exhilarating and incredibly well-managed.
Big shoutout to DJ, our amazing guide – honestly, he’s a real-life Spider-Man! 🕷️🕸️ He struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and encouraging us to push our limits. His energy, confidence, and humor made the whole experience feel both daring and fun. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows!
What really impressed me was the extremely thorough safety process – our gear was checked nearly 10 times by at least 4 different team members before we even stepped outside. It gave us full confidence that we were in safe hands, even while walking on the edge of one of the tallest towers in the world.
Standing 116 storeys above the ground, leaning out over the edge with nothing but a harness—it’s an adrenaline rush like no other. The views are breathtaking, the air is crisp, and the feeling of being up there is simply surreal.
Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Toronto or locals looking to do something unforgettable. Thanks again, DJ, for making it such an epic memory!

Such a wonderful experience I would definitely do this again and again. Whatever you THINK this is gonna be like, it’s nothing like it. The entire process is so smooth and well managed, they make it easy for you to simply enjoy yourself. Great customer experience, great waiver run down, great suiting up skills. Your guide will be super personable and professional too. Doesn’t hurt that your ticket price comes with a complimentary video, 2 printed photos, AND access to the entire tower for you to explore. The pictures attached include the top plus general admission although you will be getting priority pass before any line. Walk around the edge does feel a little too soon but that’s only bc you’re having soon. There is no concern at all you need to have. Your guide will show you the how-to’s as well as your when’s so all you need to do is listen :)
