Went here last month during Christmas week with a friend she recommended it! The atmosphere was really nice. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is actually much bigger than expected. Super chill vibes.
The servers were friendly, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were great too. It was a bit late for a coffee taste test at night, but totally worth trying!
The pizza was so cheesy, crispy, and deliciousssss perfect for cheese lovers like us :> Definitely coming back to try other foods!

7 West Cafe, Toronto
7:00 a.m.
I was on my way to the ROM and had already looked this place up ahead of time. The reviews were strong enough that I built my morning around it. When I arrived, the cafe was open, calm, and already moving at an easy pace. A few tables were filled, coffee was flowing, and the room had that quiet early morning energy where no one is in a rush yet.
The staff was kind from the start. Not overly chatty, just present and welcoming. I ordered breakfast and it was genuinely excellent. I love breakfast food and have eaten a lot of it, but this was one of those meals that makes you pause and actually appreciate what is in front of you. Everything tasted thoughtful and well done.
At one point I asked to use the bathroom, which ended up being unintentionally funny. The bathroom was very small. Small enough that when I shifted even slightly, the hand dryer turned on and blasted air directly at my head while I was doing my business. It caught me off guard and I could not help but laugh. It was one of those moments that only happens when you are traveling alone.
Afterward, I walked around the second floor just to take in the space. One of the staff members noticed and asked if I needed help. I asked if it was okay to walk around since the restaurant had multiple levels. He said absolutely and let me explore.
The place is beautiful. Dark wood, warm lighting, staircases and rooms that feel quietly tucked away. It felt like a space meant to be lingered in, not rushed through.
7 West serves excellent food, but what stood out just as much was the staff and the atmosphere. Comfortable, welcoming, and unintentionally memorable. And yes, I will probably always remember that bathroom.

Got the breakfast special and it was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and fries were nice and crispy. My friend and I came here because it was one of the few places opened for an early breakfast before work. Overall the place had a cozy vibe, good food and great staff. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

Very cute place. Went for breakfast on New Year' Eve. Got the breakfast special which was loaded with food and only $14! Definitely get the sausage, they are thick pork links.
Coffee was robust and tasty. And the pancake with fresh fruit was also a nice treat. Their desserts looked amazing, may have to go back just for those!
My server was warm and friendly, and attentive. The wood inside the restaurant is beautiful. You can tell they pay attention to detail in everything, including an eclectic set of water pitchers for tables. Highly recommended, will return next time in Toronto for sure.

We found ourselves downtown after some shopping at Eaton Centre and decided to try out this 24/7 7 West Cafe.
Upon entering they offered ground floor or second floor seating; we opted for the second floor and found ourselves in a cute dimly lit area with a bar.
We arrived during happy hour so we ordered some of their signature cocktails for half off. For dinner, we got the tomato prosciutto, Caesar salad, bolognese and ravioli.
We weren’t expecting the portions to come out so big! We had to share our appetizers and take it slow on the entrees because we were so full already!
Nonetheless, the bites of pasta that we had with flavourful and delicious. Honestly, one of the few good bologneses I’ve ever had in restaurants.
It’s cute how they’re able to open all day and night, offering breakfast, brunch, cocktails, lunch, and dinner around the clock. If I ever find myself downtown again, will definitely drop by if I’m hungry for good pasta.

We went to The Office trivia night and it was alot of fun. Great atmosphere and a good selection of food. We got the nachos and mini donuts to share, both were really good. The trivia was a great activity to do with a group of friends, they host all sorts of genres during the week so you'll definitely find something you'll enjoy. The trivia night is held on the second floor, so there isn't interference from guest in the main restaurant.

The food was really good. Service was mixed though - there seemed to be a lot of servers but if not designated to your table, it was difficult to get someone's attention. Once the food and drinks were ready though, very attentive and we had a nice mix of dishes. Good cocktails too. Overall would recommend - we perhaps just caught them at an awkward time.

This place has a real rock vibe—guitars and great music. I spent an amazing time here with my friends.

Went to the Pilot to catch up with a few friends and ate on the rooftop patio, which had a really solid vibe. Unfortunately some construction is being done on the building next door so not much of a view but the patio has a nice breeze and open sky, and some TVs around as well so you can watch sports.
Food was okay. Decided to try the special jambalaya for $22 which had chicken and shrimp. It was a bit bland but the portion was pretty decent.
Service was okay. Not bad by any stretch and the staff here are pretty friendly, but would just suggest as a teaching point that when tables are running low on water that you proactively refill it. Especially when minimum suggested tip is 18% 😬.
Decent spot though if you're looking for a rooftop patio where you can get some sun or watch some sports!

Easily the best rooftop patio tavern in Yorkville comprising the main floor, stealth lounge, and flight deck!!! They got live music, amazing food, and all types of shows. Personally, I love the cajun chicken sandwich and yet to try the rest.
A perfect venue for friends gatherings, birthday parties, and live hockey games!

I stopped by Tim Hortons this morning and had a really pleasant experience. My coffee was perfectly made and the breakfast sandwich was fresh and tasty. I especially want to mention Susie, who provided outstanding customer service. She was polite, patient, and very helpful while taking my order. It’s always nice to be greeted with such a positive attitude. Great job, Susie!

I have been coming to this Tim Hortons all throughout my undergrad at U of T since I lived nearby, and now that I commute I still pass through Holt Renfrew Centre almost every day. This has always been one of my go-to spots because the staff are friendly and hardworking.
That being said, the location is small and often feels understaffed, which slows things down during the morning rush. It also constantly smells burnt inside, which makes waiting less pleasant. Today I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte at 10:09 a.m. and it took over 15 minutes. When I politely asked about it, another customer rudely cut me off. To make things worse, my drink was not called out and was just placed on the counter without informing me. I almost left thinking it was not coming, and I ended up wasting time waiting for no reason. By the time I realized, I was already late for class while people who ordered after me had already been served.
The latte itself tasted great once I finally got it, and that is why I am still giving 4 stars. This location has been my favourite for years, but I hope they address the burnt smell and improve communication during busy times so customers do not feel overlooked.

Just finished our New Year’s Eve meal at Jack Astors. Our server was Justine, who was exceptional in her service. She was attentive, very personable and recommended a vegan option for myself which I highly enjoyed. We would definitely return because the food was delicious and hope for Justine to be our server. Thank you!

Kunal was our server for the evening and from the moment we sat down in our Christmas booth it was fantastic. Gathered with friends to celebrate the Season with some festive cocktails and seasonal foods! Sadly I had left my leftovers after packing it up as I had too many packages from all the gift exchanges that happened at the table after our meal. Kunal was able to separate our bills with ease and even gave us some coupons to return in the New Year! Atmosphere in the restaurant was very festive and put you right in the mood along with the music.

We were welcome by the manager and later greeted by our server Haley. Came in for a quick bite and also use one of the coupon we got during Christmas for free app. Food tasted great and our server was very attentive.

I went to Jack Astor’s on New Year’s Eve with my friend, and overall it was a really good experience. The place was lively and fun.
The food was excellent very tasty and well prepared. The only downside was the drinks; they didn’t feel very fresh and the taste wasn’t as good as we expected.
Other than that, everything was great, and we’d be happy to come back again.

This is the best Jack Astors. I love the pan bread and holiday special menus! So fun, so delicious!! Kunal was great server and we had help from Celia and Karla and Caity bringing us our food promptly and sharing the great vibes! Definitely recommending this Jack’s to my friends. Great service!

I walked in for breakfast and got 3 eggs with sausage and bacon. The service was kind and quick, pleasant seating area. I thought the potatoe fries were a little bit soft but tasted fine, everything else was great and I loved the complimentary refills on my coffee! Overall, large menu with plenty of great selections for the price and amazing service.

We ordered blueberry pancakes and the eggs florentine that had eggs home fried and French toast. The portions were very good. The food was delicious as well. Pancakes were perfectly cooked through. Service was great as well. Overall an amazing experience ❤️

Great location. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great decor. Patio seatings available. Food was quite basic - home fries were chunky and lacked flavour, omelette lacked substance (like eggs were watered down / made from instant) and toasts were barely toasted. For sure there was room for improvement on the food front but servers kinna offset for the dining experience.

I recently visited Sunset Grill in Toronto, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We ordered the Mediterranean and Veggie omelettes, and both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried their pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and delicious.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the facility was well-maintained. Our server was excellent (Suman) —super friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The only small suggestion I have is that they didn’t offer oat or almond milk as a non-dairy option for coffee. It would be great to see that added to the menu in the future.
Overall, I highly recommend Sunset Grill! The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I will definitely be returning.

The most tastiest food I ever tried (the special rice is sooo amazing I ask for take out as well). The service is outstanding the ladies are attentive and reply to all your questions. My favourite was the sweet and sour chicken with pinneaple and the special rice but now I want to try the whole menu extremely recommended and also good prices in this economy

The food was delicious but can be served more hotter (especially for the fried rice)
The service was great, albeit the price was slightly higher compared to other restaurants, still worth with it.

Stopped by Lee Chen for a weekend meal a couple weeks ago and had a lovely experience.
We ordered a few dishes including chow mein, Szechuan fish and garlic fried Bok Choy. We got steamed rice on the side.
My favorite dish was the chow mein. The fried thin noodles are lovely and well stir fried. There's a good flavor here that's great comfort food. The only issue I had is that the quantity is a little on the low side for the price. $15 for stir fried noodles could have been a little more on quantity, especially without any protein added.
The fish is a bit on the spicy side and it was a little powdery for my liking. The coating here is also a bit soggy for this type of dish. I didn't mind it but I don't think I would order it again.
The greens were excellent. Simple and delicious flavours here with garlic. Really enjoyed this dish too.
The service here was nice. The hostess is lovely and friendly making us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Overall this is a lovely spot for a nice meal. I think I would try some of the meat dishes and dumplings that are more popular.
Recommend supporting this local Toronto spot.

It’s my second time coming to this place and it’s starting to be my go to for lunch options. I had fettuccine pasta with meat tomato sauce and it was warm and delicious. The sauce was perfectly seasoned (it gave me a home-cooked feeling too), fettuccine was just on point and the garlic bread was delicious too. Size portions are great too!
Def coming back, my stomach is so happy rn.
Looking forward to try more things off the menu. I enjoyed the pasta sm but here’s a photo of the packaging (cute).

I tried Mama’s Pizza today and ordered the penne primavera pasta with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were really well balanced and tasted fresh. On top of that, the service was amazing—everyone was super nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really loved it and just wanted to share! 🍝💚

I lived near this Mama's Pizza and didn't know much about the brand other than it's not what it once was. When I went for a dine-in pie I could understand the sentiment. It is a very average but not quite mediocre pizza. Nothing about it is bad, but nothing is particularly good. I suppose the price point is alright? Even considering that, there's much better pizza to find in Toronto that's definitely worth the higher asking price.

Went to O’Noir for my boyfriends 31st birthday and it was such an incredible experience from start to finish. Dining in the dark was so unique and really made us slow down and enjoy every bite and every moment. We chose the surprise option for everything on the menu and were not disappointed at all – every dish tasted amazing and it was so fun trying to guess what we were eating.
The atmosphere felt cozy, intimate, and fun all at once – definitely not your average dinner out and totally worth trying at least once. Our server, Ali, was absolutely phenomenal. He made us feel comfortable right away, explained everything clearly, and checked in on us at all the right times without ever breaking the experience. You could tell he genuinely cared that we were having a great night.
Between the amazing service, the surprise dishes, and the unforgettable concept, I’d highly recommend O’Noir for any special occasion or date night. We’ll definitely be back! 🌟

We had an unforgettable dinner last night at O.Noir, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Ali. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Dining in the dark can be a unique and slightly intimidating experience, but Ali guided us with such patience, confidence, and kindness that we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment.
His attentiveness, warm personality, and professionalism stood out all evening. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in giving guests an amazing experience. Thanks to his thoughtful assistance, our night felt smooth, fun, and memorable.
Thank you, Ali, for making our dinner so special. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!) and would happily come back again. Highly recommend asking for Ali if you visit O.Noir!

A very unique experience. The bar/reception area is cute (old library vibes), it's here that you review the menu before heading into the dining area. Our server was lovely, some of the service was a little slow, but I believe there was only one server. For the price, we really couldn't complain about the food (we used a Groupon voucher, so it was $40 each for a 3 course meal, which is unheard of these days). The main steak dish was a highlight for me, the meat and vegetables were really well cooked and seasoned. One negative was when we went to pay, they charged $10 for water (it was just still water, probably tap, not sparkling), which was not mentioned when we were offered water during service. It was also very loud at times and a bit hard to hold a conversation, but it may just be that we had a very loud table near us.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend a visit once.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience! Finally tried out ONoir with my friend, been wanting to go for a long time. The pitch dark atmosphere is insane. You really get to experience your other senses and go deep with the other person when you can’t see. Our waiter Ali is amazing, apparently there are 4 rooms in total and he serves the entire room by himself in the dark. Absolutely amazing ❤️❤️

Hidden gem at the food court at Bloor Station.
Heathy food with good price.
I ordered number 2, it came with yellow rice, one big piece of white fish and salad with hummus and sour cream.
Only $13.❤️
Very tasty and healthy.
I’m highly recommend this and support local.
The lady and the gentleman at the counter are very nice, great attitude and excellent customer service.
Made fresh and very clean, will absolutely come back to try another menu.
Just at the food court, might get busy during lunch time but plenty of seats to share with others.
