Always love dining here, there’s lots of great options on the menu and a great place for small to large groups spread across different floors.
The best thing, however, is the fact that it’s open 24 x 7, which makes for the perfect spot to visit after a late night out! In fact, the atmosphere is probably the best late at night.
On this occasion, I tried their house omelettes per their brunch menu (I substituted the salad for fries, which reminded me of chips from back home in England - delish!).
One of my favourite spots in the city - worth a try!

I’ve been here a few times now, and the brunch menu never disappoints. It’s impressively large and caters to both savory and sweet cravings. This time, I tried the vegetarian burger, and it was moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The house salad on the side was fresh and vibrant—an excellent pairing with the burger. We always save room for dessert, and the Belgian dark chocolate cake was the perfect way to end the meal—rich, decadent, and deeply satisfying. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed and delicious brunch experience!

The top floor has such a good vibe.
Great for a group meeting or a casual date. I like the interior I think it’s got personality. The mini bar upstairs is a nice touch. Food’s good, no complaints.

My rating: 6.5/10. I had heard lots about this place and had even recommended it to others before going because of how it had been recommended to me, but I now regret that. The highlights are the staff - super friendly and helpful - and the fact that it is open 24/7 is kinda neat. Nothing was particularly terrible, but to me this was the epitome of an average restaurant. The menu was very long and varied, which can be nice but I find it often a sign of being ok at everything and good at nothing. The dishes were pretty average for a North American restaurant. I finished my salmon eggs benny but wasn’t impressed by any of it. The potatoes were nothing special either, which sometimes helps a breakfast dish standout. Prices were average for brunch these days but that isn’t a bonus to me because the food doesn’t quite make it worth it. The atmosphere is a little dull and dim, seems like some effort has been put in to make it nice but the use of darker tones and lack of natural light in midday isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe the dinner dishes are better, but my group and I weren’t super keen on anything. I might go back if I was invited, but I won’t be booking a table here again soon.

The restaurant carries a simple but warm atmosphere that comes alive at night. Dim lighting and lovely seating. I ordered the chicken pollo which was delicious. If you are crazy about pesto, this dish was extremely generous with it and the chicken was juicy and seasoned! For dessert, the Dulce De Leches cheesecake was to die for. (Tip: if you like hot sauce they carry a variety if you ask).

Went to the Pilot to catch up with a few friends and ate on the rooftop patio, which had a really solid vibe. Unfortunately some construction is being done on the building next door so not much of a view but the patio has a nice breeze and open sky, and some TVs around as well so you can watch sports.
Food was okay. Decided to try the special jambalaya for $22 which had chicken and shrimp. It was a bit bland but the portion was pretty decent.
Service was okay. Not bad by any stretch and the staff here are pretty friendly, but would just suggest as a teaching point that when tables are running low on water that you proactively refill it. Especially when minimum suggested tip is 18% 😬.
Decent spot though if you're looking for a rooftop patio where you can get some sun or watch some sports!

Easily the best rooftop patio tavern in Yorkville comprising the main floor, stealth lounge, and flight deck!!! They got live music, amazing food, and all types of shows. Personally, I love the cajun chicken sandwich and yet to try the rest.
A perfect venue for friends gatherings, birthday parties, and live hockey games!

Food for a catered event was better than most. Bar service took some time to flag down to order a drink.
Rooftop patio is quite nice.

We sat at the rooftop patio, which was nice. The reviews praise the mac and cheese but i was hungry so i got the lamb souvlaki. It tasted good but a bit inconsistent in texture. Some bites were dry, some were okay. Serviceable.
Our food took a while to arrive but service was fine otherwise.

This was a great place overall. Unfortunately, the live music was extremely loud, making it hard to have a conversation—even though the music itself was nice. I’d recommend lowering the volume to make it more guest-friendly. The food was great. I ordered a soup that turned out to be too spicy for me, but the staff were very understanding and kindly took it away without charging me. We had other food and drinks as well, and everything was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely, and the servers were friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely loved this Korean grill! The service was excellent—staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome esp the owner! The food was fresh and flavourful, and the seafood was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time! Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. And to top it all off, we got free ice cream at the end of our meal—such a sweet touch! Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back!

Unpleasant experience.
We went for the all you can eat dinner and got seated right away, no wait which is great, we orderes our first round, the order came pretty quick but it was missing half the order, we ordered beef, beef ribs, lamb, shrimp,
mushrooms, onion, salads, and sauce.
All the meats came but not a single item of the veggies came, I thought it would come later but it never came and I had to order it again.
We asked for you grill to be changed since it started smoking up, the server never brought it until I asked again.
The food was mediocre, the beef slices were good, some of the ribs were mostly fat, the lamb was not good at all, it tasted like a live animal, the shrimp was good!
we ended with pineapples, again had to order them twice to get them, and I wish they never did, it was canned pineapple, we got 1 scoop of ice cream each (cookie monster, banana) both flavors were delicious.
On top of all of that there's a mandatory %13 gratuity on all tables, we're literally cooking our own food and had to beg for service, even the bill I had to ask for twice.
we paid around 34 per person including everything (tip+tax) it's 27.99 before tax.
overall would not come again, there are better options out there.

Every dish we ordered was spot-on, the Thai bowls were packed with flavor, the mushroom truffle burger was rich and perfectly cooked, and the beef tacos were juicy and well-seasoned. The portions were generous, and the presentation was great. The vibe was energetic but still comfortable, and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

A great restaurant option for those who like to go out in groups and want a good variety of appetizers and snacks for a group, as well as large drinks to enjoy with friends.
The restaurant is always very busy, especially on parade days and game days. The food is good and always arrives hot and well-served.
They have two entrances (one with accessibility and one without), with an access ramp and an automatic door. They do not have a menu in Braille, but the staff is always available to provide guidance.
For those traveling with children, they have a children's menu, pencils for drawing, high chairs for children, and bathrooms with changing tables.
They do not have their own parking lot, but there are paid parking lots in the area, as well as buildings with private parking.

I recently visited Sunset Grill in Toronto, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We ordered the Mediterranean and Veggie omelettes, and both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried their pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and delicious.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the facility was well-maintained. Our server was excellent (Suman) —super friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The only small suggestion I have is that they didn’t offer oat or almond milk as a non-dairy option for coffee. It would be great to see that added to the menu in the future.
Overall, I highly recommend Sunset Grill! The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic breakfast at the newly reopened Sunset Grill. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. My kid especially loved the cute decorations on his French Toast Cheesecake. The new management has done a wonderful job. We can’t wait to come back every weekend!

I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant today! I ordered the blueberry pancakes with a side of small fruit salad, and I must say, they nailed it. I’m very picky about my pancakes, and I asked for them to be a little crispy, and the chefs delivered perfectly. The pancakes were just the way I like them—crispy on the edges but soft inside. It really made my day!
What truly stood out, though, was the way the chefs were preparing the food. I could see them from my table, and it was evident that they take great pride in their craft. Their attention to detail was impressive, and it was clear they were very hygienic in their work. I felt completely comfortable and confident in the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back for more!😃

Stopped by Lee Chen for a weekend meal a couple weeks ago and had a lovely experience.
We ordered a few dishes including chow mein, Szechuan fish and garlic fried Bok Choy. We got steamed rice on the side.
My favorite dish was the chow mein. The fried thin noodles are lovely and well stir fried. There's a good flavor here that's great comfort food. The only issue I had is that the quantity is a little on the low side for the price. $15 for stir fried noodles could have been a little more on quantity, especially without any protein added.
The fish is a bit on the spicy side and it was a little powdery for my liking. The coating here is also a bit soggy for this type of dish. I didn't mind it but I don't think I would order it again.
The greens were excellent. Simple and delicious flavours here with garlic. Really enjoyed this dish too.
The service here was nice. The hostess is lovely and friendly making us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Overall this is a lovely spot for a nice meal. I think I would try some of the meat dishes and dumplings that are more popular.
Recommend supporting this local Toronto spot.

The best soup dumplings you can have in Toronto! Stumbled upon this place while running an errand in Downtown Toronto on a Monday night. It happens to be crowded during the weekend but during weekdays it was pretty quiet and empty. Great food and service!

We ordered 3 pizzas from Mamma’s Pizza: combination , Hawaiian, and chicken. The crust was baked perfectly, which I really appreciated. However, I didn’t enjoy the pepperoni pizza as much because it had too many bell peppers, and their flavor was a bit overpowering. On the other hand, the chicken pizza was absolutely amazing!

I came here a couple times before they closed down and the pizza by the slice was okay. I figured after they reopened that the food would be of higher quality. I was mistaken.
The “fresh” pizza shouldn’t be left out for so long.
Service was great and the employees were friendly. I would not recommend the pizza by the slice.

I recently tried Mamma's Pizza at 807 Yonge st, and it was amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. The food was honestly quite underwhelming, in flavour, but was very fairly priced. Everything was presented beautifully and the interior of the cafe was pretty. A great spot for a quick bite to eat in Yorkville. We had the avocado toast (with poached egg), the ahi tuna poke bowl, the chicken sandwich and a burger. Additionally, an iced matcha and a iced americano. The food is always fresh and deliscious and the service staff are quite helpful.
A very fun spot to grab a bit to eat during a day out in the area.

Reasonable price for downtown area.
Bright and nicely decor dinning room. Could have clean the dinning area better, saw stain on the wall.
Washroom is clean.
Complimentary bread and butter.
Food came quickly and hot.
Cocktails are ok, the white sangria is way too sweet and off balanced.
Burger is decent and definitely filling.
Server did check on us regularly but sometimes making jokes that we find it a bit awkward.

We just had an amazing lunch/brunch at Holts Café. Our server Stacey was so far above and beyond…incredibly attentive, beautiful positive demeanour, superb service all around. Seeing that we had our 18 month old granddaughter with us she asked if we wanted us to put her order in immediately. She gave us great suggestions when we asked for recommendations for our brunch and she took and brought us our orders expeditiously. The lunch menu is very diverse and all our selections were delicious, as always, including mains (bavette steak salads and classic brunch), a wonderful blackberry dessert and coffee. The children’s menu also includes all the options the little ones love. The ambiance of the restaurant is sophisticated but also cozy with very low noise levels. All the staff are great but we were very fortunate to have Stacey looking after us. I always love dining at the Holts Café on Bloor and look forward to returning soon.

We had a guest in from out of town and decided to bring her to ONoir. What a delightful experience! Our server Ali was just absolutely lovely and was incredibly hospitable. It was just a great way to relax and enjoy some good food without any of our day-to-day distractions. The room itself was cozy warm (on an incredibly cold winter’s day) with very comfortable seating. They really do tend to all senses given that you cannot see anything during the entire experience. Highly recommend and will be going back with others!

ONoir was an absolutely amazing and unique experience. It’s very humbling at the same time. We learned to experience the reality of others who are visually impaired and for this, I am very grateful. The service was excellent, and the food was very good and I would highly recommend this place if you are in the city and want toexperience something new. Parking is a bit challenging, however, there is paid parking within a few minutes of the restaurant. Rates are about five dollars per 30 minutes or $10 flat rate after 6 PM. Definitely worth visiting this restaurant.

🦋We were excited to come here for the experience. We love food, but this outing was about something more. Little did we know how much our growth over the years would make this a magical and emotional journey.
🦋At the entrance, a gate separated the sidewalk from the restaurant. Hesitant at first, we confirmed we were in the right place when we saw “O’Noir.” We stepped inside, greeted by a dimly lit, medieval-style setting. Newspaper clippings on the wall spoke of the building’s history, and a quote from Shakespeare—“Where there is no darkness but ignorance”—set the tone.
🦋After checking in, we were asked to choose our meals from the menu. There were options for meat, seafood, and vegetarian dishes, as well as surprise selections. Sackeria opted for surprises all the way through, while Alex chose a butter tart for dessert.
🦋Our server, Ali, introduced himself. He was completely blind—an inspiring part of the experience. He instructed us to hold onto each other’s shoulders and follow him into complete darkness. Not a flicker of light remained. Alex, naturally, took the opportunity to grab Sackeria’s butt—score!
🦋Ali guided us to our seats, helped us settle in, and explained where everything was. He was incredibly helpful, making the transition into total darkness seamless. We listened to conversations around us, noticing how our senses heightened without sight. A couple next to us joked about how they looked better in the dark—a reminder that without judgment, human connection comes easily.
🦋The appetizer arrived. Since we both chose surprises, we had no idea what we were eating. Using our hands more than our forks, we embraced the mess. We imagined how everyone must look—like cavemen, no doubt! But it wasn’t about the food; it was about presence. It felt like meditation with our eyes open, a surreal and peaceful experience.
🦋Ali brought out our mains—both meat surprises, pre-cut for ease. We were grateful, as navigating with a butter knife could’ve been… interesting. The meal exceeded our expectations, though we came for the experience, not Michelin-star dining.
Dessert followed. Alex’s butter tart, with raisins and nuts, was a pleasant surprise. Sackeria’s coconut date square was perfect for her love of coconut.
At the end, Ali invited us to sit in silence for five minutes. It was another moment of presence, reinforcing the meditation-like quality of the experience. We realized that when you close your eyes, there’s more light than when you open them in that room.
Ali led us out, and we left filled with gratitude. His kindness and wisdom taught us that happiness isn’t about circumstances—it’s about perspective. We shared stories, found common ground, and left with full hearts.
Thank you, Ali, for being a beautiful soul. Your presence touched us deeply, and your light will remain with us forever.
With love and gratitude,
Discovered Souls

It is food but more than food, it is a must experience in your life. It feels so different to eat and talk in complete darkness where you MUST turn off your phone and you don’t have to care about your look and etiquette anymore but pay more attention to who you are coming with to share the moment. And the food is pretty good as well plus thanks to Ali for making us feel safe/taken care of during the whole time
