Went here last month during Christmas week with a friend she recommended it! The atmosphere was really nice. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is actually much bigger than expected. Super chill vibes.
The servers were friendly, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were great too. It was a bit late for a coffee taste test at night, but totally worth trying! The pizza was so cheesy, crispy, and deliciousssss perfect for cheese lovers like us :> the cakes were really yummy too!! Definitely coming back to try other foods!

The overnight staff and kitchen staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Overnight staff really do not get enough credit, and as someone who works in the restaurant industry, I truly appreciate when service is done right. They went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. The vodka pasta was so amazing, the drinks were just as good, and I also want to thank the manager for being so hospitable and attentive. This place is definitely a 10/10, and I highly recommend it. THANK YOU! I will be coming back :)

Such a charming atmosphere, the entire vibe suspended me. Good music, lighting, and lived-in setup. The food was just ok but not bad. The prosciutto sandwich wasn't vibrant and lacked coherence. Just average. I'd still come back with company though, this is an excellent spot to sit, lay back and chat over a meal. The menu offers a good selection of breakfast foods, sandwiches, pizzas, some other things and drinks, so there's a whole lot to choose from. The service was very friendly but so so so slow. Horrifically slow. Finally I found the the overall cost to be expensive for what we ordered. Again, this wouldn't detract me from coming back, it's a sweet place. But it's worth noting.

Got the breakfast special and it was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and fries were nice and crispy. My friend and I came here because it was one of the few places opened for an early breakfast before work. Overall the place had a cozy vibe, good food and great staff. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

We found ourselves downtown after some shopping at Eaton Centre and decided to try out this 24/7 7 West Cafe.
Upon entering they offered ground floor or second floor seating; we opted for the second floor and found ourselves in a cute dimly lit area with a bar.
We arrived during happy hour so we ordered some of their signature cocktails for half off. For dinner, we got the tomato prosciutto, Caesar salad, bolognese and ravioli.
We weren’t expecting the portions to come out so big! We had to share our appetizers and take it slow on the entrees because we were so full already!
Nonetheless, the bites of pasta that we had with flavourful and delicious. Honestly, one of the few good bologneses I’ve ever had in restaurants.
It’s cute how they’re able to open all day and night, offering breakfast, brunch, cocktails, lunch, and dinner around the clock. If I ever find myself downtown again, will definitely drop by if I’m hungry for good pasta.

The finger food was really good, fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing while hanging out. Everything came out nicely prepared, and it paired really well with the overall atmosphere of the place. Definitely the type of menu that works well for groups or casual nights out.
We watched Eurovision Song Contest there, which made the experience even more fun. The energy in the place during the show was great, and it honestly felt like a fun community atmosphere with everyone enjoying the performances together. The environment added a lot to the experience, and you could tell people were genuinely having a good

I absolutely loved this venue. They have a karaoke/live music space on the second floor and I gotta say: it rocks! Food and drinks are a bit on the $$ end, but the atmosphere makes up for it!

The food was really good. Service was mixed though - there seemed to be a lot of servers but if not designated to your table, it was difficult to get someone's attention. Once the food and drinks were ready though, very attentive and we had a nice mix of dishes. Good cocktails too. Overall would recommend - we perhaps just caught them at an awkward time.

We went to The Office trivia night and it was alot of fun. Great atmosphere and a good selection of food. We got the nachos and mini donuts to share, both were really good. The trivia was a great activity to do with a group of friends, they host all sorts of genres during the week so you'll definitely find something you'll enjoy. The trivia night is held on the second floor, so there isn't interference from guest in the main restaurant.

I stopped by Tim Hortons this morning and had a really pleasant experience. My coffee was perfectly made and the breakfast sandwich was fresh and tasty. I especially want to mention Susie, who provided outstanding customer service. She was polite, patient, and very helpful while taking my order. It’s always nice to be greeted with such a positive attitude. Great job, Susie!

I have been coming to this Tim Hortons all throughout my undergrad at U of T since I lived nearby, and now that I commute I still pass through Holt Renfrew Centre almost every day. This has always been one of my go-to spots because the staff are friendly and hardworking.
That being said, the location is small and often feels understaffed, which slows things down during the morning rush. It also constantly smells burnt inside, which makes waiting less pleasant. Today I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte at 10:09 a.m. and it took over 15 minutes. When I politely asked about it, another customer rudely cut me off. To make things worse, my drink was not called out and was just placed on the counter without informing me. I almost left thinking it was not coming, and I ended up wasting time waiting for no reason. By the time I realized, I was already late for class while people who ordered after me had already been served.
The latte itself tasted great once I finally got it, and that is why I am still giving 4 stars. This location has been my favourite for years, but I hope they address the burnt smell and improve communication during busy times so customers do not feel overlooked.

We had such a wonderful experience at Jack Astor’s during the hockey playoffs thanks to our amazing server! Celia was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and welcoming throughout the entire evening. My partner and I stayed for hours watching the hockey game, and she consistently checked in on us without ever making us feel rushed.
Her recommendations for appetizers, entrées, desserts, and drinks were all absolutely spot on, every single thing she suggested was delicious! You could really tell she cared about making sure we had a great experience. She personalized the entire experience and made us feel extra special with each check in.
Her friendly energy and attention to detail made our night even more enjoyable. Outstanding service from start to finish, happy hour or not, we’ll definitely be back because of her!

Harry the manager is the kindest soul. He spoke to us and is such a genuine person. Haley was our serve and she took great care of us. We had amazing nachos and I had the Fiesta Salad with shrimp and it was delicious. I’ve been to many Jack Astor’s locations but this is my new favourite spot.

Just finished our New Year’s Eve meal at Jack Astors. Our server was Justine, who was exceptional in her service. She was attentive, very personable and recommended a vegan option for myself which I highly enjoyed. We would definitely return because the food was delicious and hope for Justine to be our server. Thank you!

Had a great night at Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill. The place was busy but the vibe was still really fun and relaxed. Our server Jordi was awesome — super friendly, quick with everything, and made the whole experience feel really easy. Drinks came out fast, food was spot on, and they checked in at the right times without hovering. Service like that definitely makes you want to come back. Would happily eat here again. 👍

Love the atmosphere here for fresh breakfast mood!
We had vegetarian omelettes that comes with toast and home fries
Their home fries are not the crispy ones , so negative points, also the omlette size to the price is smaller compared to other breakfast places.
They don’t do fresh orange juice so be mindful when they even say it’s freshly made but not squeezed
Menu is updated to have wraps and burgers tooo

We just finished eating. When the waitress brought it to the table, I didn't even want to eat it because it looked so good. But I'm glad I did because it tasted even better. We were in Toronto for a few days, we went here for breakfast when we found it, we tried more, including pancakes, and it always looked very good and always tasted great. Thank you and we will be happy to come back when we visit the city again.

Great value in today’s economy. No nonsense generous-portion breakfast was just perfect: three eggs, with Texas toast, two bacon and two sausages, loads of potatoes, $13.99. With peameal $14.99. No wait, no resos, fast courteous service. Went to the Bloor/Church location, great for a stop between shopping. I love that they have the small packets of strawberry jam, peanut butter and honey out, which I always save my toast for, slathered in jam for dessert.

I walked in for breakfast and got 3 eggs with sausage and bacon. The service was kind and quick, pleasant seating area. I thought the potatoe fries were a little bit soft but tasted fine, everything else was great and I loved the complimentary refills on my coffee! Overall, large menu with plenty of great selections for the price and amazing service.
Pratik G - 7 months ago
We arrived around 11 a.m. for brunch, and the wait time for the food was reasonable for peak hours. I had the French toast, which was good, but after trying my wife’s pancakes, I would definitely recommend the pancakes.
They were generous with the butter, jam, and syrup, which we appreciated. It was also easy to manage frequent washroom visits with the kids.
The staff were kind and understanding with our children, which made our visit even more pleasant.

The most tastiest food I ever tried (the special rice is sooo amazing I ask for take out as well). The service is outstanding the ladies are attentive and reply to all your questions. Stopped by Lee Chen for a weekend meal a couple weeks ago and had a lovely experience.
We ordered a few dishes including chow mein, Szechuan fish and garlic fried Bok Choy. We got steamed rice on the side.
My favorite dish was the chow mein. The fried thin noodles are lovely and well stir fried. There's a good flavor here that's great comfort food. The only issue I had is that the quantity is a little on the low side for the price. $15 for stir fried noodles could have been a little more on quantity, especially without any protein added.
The fish is a bit on the spicy side and it was a little powdery for my liking. The coating here is also a bit soggy for this type of dish. I didn't mind it but I don't think I would order it again.
The greens were excellent. Simple and delicious flavours here with garlic. Really enjoyed this dish too.
The service here was nice. The hostess is lovely and friendly making us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Overall this is a lovely spot for a nice meal. I think I would try some of the meat dishes and dumplings that are more popular.
Recommend supporting this local Toronto spot.
Keefe Valladares - a year ago
I am confused as to why this particular location has received such low ratings. My experience there was very positive and the service was quick and efficient. The salt and pepper chicken I ordered was cooked to perfection - it was crispy on the outside and still moist inside. Also, the black pepper beef was cooked perfectly, medium well and very juicy. I particularly enjoyed the Lee Chen Fried Rice, which was delicious. Lastly, the dumplings were just as good as the best dumpling restaurant “Juicy Dumplings”.
Now where Lee Chen suffers is the portion. The quantity doesn't reflect the price. But overall great place to dine.
Nikko Tuason - 2 years ago
The atmosphere was calm and quiet
The food was delicious but can be served more hotter (especially for the fried rice)
The service was great, albeit the price was slightly higher compared to other restaurants, still worth with it.

Come get yourself a slice of pizza or a get whole one for the family. Great tasting pizza, with thin crust and they're not stingy on the cheese at all. They'll make the pizza the way you like ( and they still have complimentary oregano and chili flakes to dress up your pizza. I mention this cause anything extra these days is a plus). Great/ friendly service and a clean store. There are lots of options for a variety of pizzas that you can order. Small restaurant but at least they've got a washroom downstairs that customers can use.

It’s my second time coming to this place and it’s starting to be my go to for lunch options. I had fettuccine pasta with meat tomato sauce and it was warm and delicious. The sauce was perfectly seasoned (it gave me a home-cooked feeling too), fettuccine was just on point and the garlic bread was delicious too. Size portions are great too!
Def coming back, my stomach is so happy rn.
Looking forward to try more things off the menu. I enjoyed the pasta sm but here’s a photo of the packaging (cute).

What an amazing experience. I was so completely disoriented for the first 10 minutes that I was speechless, which never happens to me! Lol my friends also were mesmerized with it. I recommend highly to EVERYONE! I will be bringing all my friends who visit Toronto. Order the surprise meals, that way you discover by taste and smell only what you are eating. Wow. What an incredible experience. Our waiter Ali was helpful, patient and very sweet. We loved him! Can’t add photo, everything was pitch black!

Such a unique experience honestly. Eating in complete darkness felt strange at first, but after a while it really makes you focus on the food and conversation differently.
Our server Ali was amazing throughout the whole experience. He guided us through the dark dining room so calmly and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Really appreciated his kindness and sense of humour too.
Definitely one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto.

Overall, it was an excellent and memorable experience. Dining in complete darkness meant none of us could see anything, yet the server guided and cared for us seamlessly from the moment we entered the dining room. He escorted us to our seats and served each course with impressive confidence—all without sight.
We had a great time, and the food was enjoyable as well. I only wish I had known what the surprise seafood dish actually was!
The only downside was that the venue felt a bit worn and could use some updating.

We had an unforgettable dinner last night at O.Noir, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Ali. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Dining in the dark can be a unique and slightly intimidating experience, but Ali guided us with such patience, confidence, and kindness that we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment.
His attentiveness, warm personality, and professionalism stood out all evening. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in giving guests an amazing experience. Thanks to his thoughtful assistance, our night felt smooth, fun, and memorable.
Thank you, Ali, for making our dinner so special. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!) and would happily come back again. Highly recommend asking for Ali if you visit O.Noir!

From the moment we arrived, our hostess Ali set the tone for an unforgettable evening. He was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely comfortable stepping into an experience unlike anything we'd ever done before.
Dining in complete darkness was incredible. Without cell phones, screens, or any electronic distractions at the table, something amazing happened—we actually connected. The conversations flowed naturally, the laughter felt more genuine, and every moment became about the people sitting across from us rather than the world outside. It's rare these days to be fully present, but Noir creates that opportunity in the most unique way possible.
The darkness heightens every sense. Each bite becomes an adventure as you try to identify flavors, textures, and ingredients using only your taste and smell. It transforms dinner from a meal into an experience.
What stood out most wasn't just the food—it was the connection. We left with memories, stories, and conversations that simply wouldn't have happened in a traditional restaurant setting.
Noir is more than dinner; it's a reminder of how meaningful human connection can be when distractions disappear. Huge thanks to Ali and the entire team for creating such a memorable evening. If you're in downtown Toronto and looking for something truly extraordinary, Noir is an absolute must-try.
