4 Star Rating It was my first time going to the Casa Sushi, my overall experience was good. The food was good, I generally order the bento box chicken teriyaki and comparing that with other places is more expensive. It was good though. Our server was nice too.

3 Star Rating It's not as good as I hoped it would be but maybe it was simply the timing we went at. Maybe since we went near closing time, the sushi didn't feel as fresh. I would have thought that the Casa Roll (given the fact it's named after the place) would have been stellar but the Snow White Roll is definitely their best dish. Good service, average prices. I liked it but it's just that I have had better sushi for the same price elsewhere so that's why the three stars.

5 Star Rating First time I’ve been here and it was lovely. I went with my friend and we both enjoyed ourselves. I don’t have much experience with Greek food but this was very delicious. The chicken and pork souvlaki was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We both got 2 of each and shared. The tzatziki wasn’t like traditional tzatziki with cucumbers but it was delicious. The dolmades were good tho they taste good from the can too and are cheaper. For the mains with both got calamari. She got the fried and I got the grilled. The fried tasted better but I’m glad I got to try the grilled. It was reasonably priced for what it is. The sides were savoury and rice and baked potatoes. Both were good but nothing groundbreaking. The server was very nice and attentive. Very happy with the service. Also as a side note the washroom was very clean and actually smelled nice, doesn’t happen often for a public washroom lol All in all i had a great experience and I would go again.

3 Star Rating Sadly Astoria is not what it once was. The food in now just "okay," the prices are on the high side and the service is not even close to adequate... the waiter my wife and I had was indifferent. Several items (Greek beer, Merlot wine, etc.) on the menu we not available. I even heard from another table the waiter say they didn't have chocolate milk, which is also on the menu. This shows how inept Astoria's current management is. When you charge the prices Astoria is charging you expect a reasonably good dining experience, which was the case years back, but no longer. Given that Astoria is in Toronto's Greek town, there are many much better Greek dining options close by, which I suggest you take advantage of.

5 Star Rating We have been dining in at Astoria for many years - clean and welcoming atmosphere with a family feel! As soon as you walk in, you feel as though you’re walking into a Greek household. The food is excellent and we had the pleasure of being served by Dina. She was kind and pleasant, and our experience overall amazing. Highly recommend the flaming cheese and chicken souvlaki dinner with tzatziki. The mousaka (not pictured here) is also a delicious Greek staple.

5 Star Rating Pantheon has become our go-to spot for authentic Greek food. The quality and freshness of their dishes are outstanding, creating an amazing culinary experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, providing a great backdrop for a delightful meal. The customer service at Pantheon is truly exceptional – accommodating and attentive. Everyone in our party left more than satisfied with their meals. Personally, I couldn’t get enough of the lamb chops; they stand out as some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to save room for dessert – it’s a sweet ending to an already fantastic dining experience. 2 Star Rating I wonder what's the marketing strategy behind the wait time between salads/apps and receiving the main course. It was an exact 40-minute wait. We had to ask the waiter to check on our food. I thought they would forget but no, other clients also had the same issue. Food is good-ish. Could have used more flavour. By the time we got our main meal, we were full from salad and free pita. So if you don't mind, please serve faster. Note that the restaurant wasn't that busy and it was 6 pm on a Wednesday.

5 Star Rating This place has been around fir the last 20 years and we have been enjoying their delicious food since it first opened. We love this place! Hands down, Messini is the absolute best authentic Greek Restaurant! We usually drive an hour just to enjoy their unique, delicious, popular Greek fries. Those fries are really our our absolute favorite. I do have to mention how hey are always so generous with cheese on top also. The value for your money is incredible. Their portions are very big and they fill their plates and they pitas. Their gyros are huge and taste so good. The quality of their food is absolutely delicious and top of the line. I've never had a bad meal here to date. You have a lot of delicious options to choose from. We have enjoyed numerous delicious dishes here throughout the years. Everything tastes so good here. Chicken skewers with roasted potato, meat platter, lamb and beef with potatos, deep-fried cheese balls, calamari and of course, messini salad. Everything is so flavourful. Service is always amazing! Excellent attention from the whole staff. Super friendly front of house. They are always busy but fast and attentive. Parking can be a bit tricky at times though depending on the time of day you arrive there.

3 Star Rating Cool classic spot on the Danforth. To be honest my expectations were higher for the food. The Greek salad was the best part. The Greek fried were OK but nothing extraordinary. The gyros which was the main even I was not a fan of. The fries inside were mushy and the whole thing was dry and lacked flavor and did not taste refreshing and flavorful like a good gyros should. The prices are very fair considering portion sizes. The whole experience was OK but not spectacular

2 Star Rating Second time at 7 numbers and this time really ruined my experiences there. 1) service was lackluster. We had made a reservation for eight people and had asked if we could all sit at a single table. They had agreed to it. When we got there they had given us two tables of four. There was an available table of eight as well as another table that could fit 8 but only had two people sitting at it. When we asked if we could get the available table of 8, they said that it was booked for a family of eight. Why the other group was prioritized over us, I am uncertain. But also they could have just planned better and held on the other table of eight instead of sitting instead of just two people there. If I wanted to eat with just my family then I would have ate at home and not paid to eat out. Ridiculous. 2) food - we ordered Burrata, lasagna, rapini and chicken parmasiana. Everything was super salty. Burrata was ok. Nothing special. Lasagna was below average tasting. In fact, I've made a lot of lasagna that tasted better than the one I had here. The rapini was routine. And the chicken was horribly disappointing. Not just super salty but also dry. Overall it was very disappointing and the fact that we couldn't sit with the other family that we had booked with made the experience really bad. Unfortunate since our first time here was good

5 Star Rating Amazing Greek restaurant! Lots of seating and very nice place for a quiet dinner getaway. It’s in the heart of Greektown and there’s street parking but also a few GreenP lots around the area. We had the Tzatziki dip and the Feta cheese, which came with amazing, warm breads, superb to make small bites and spreads. Moreover, we had the spinach pies (Spanakopitakiya), which were very good, in shapes of mini-Samosas, we also the stuffed vine leaves (Dolmades), which were also delicious. Apart from the feta cheese, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyros platter, which was out of the world (came with a large salad on the side). We also had their fried cod fish, which was satisfactory. Overall, a great trip and would definitely recommend especially as the prices here are extremely affordable. Thanks!

5 Star Rating We got the Halo Halo, Matcha Red Bean Crepe, follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! A sign of a good dessert is when you're absolutely stuffed, yet still find room to fit a halo halo and crepe inside somewhere. I find halo halo kind of like a puzzle to eat, after finishing a portion you unlock another, working your way from the ube ice cream, granola to the caramel flan, digging deeper into the shaved ice and then the sweetened beans and jelly, all finished all with a drizzle of evaporated milk. The crepe had the perfect amount of chew and fluffiness, stuffed with a generous amount of not-too-sweet red bean filling and topped with a drizzle of maple syrup, powdered sugar and more red beans. The vanilla whipped cream on the side provides a nice temperature contrast to each bite and adds to the airiness.

4 Star Rating Cute spot and the food and drinks were good. 👍🏼 Staff were friendly. However, I’m not sure if it was just a busy night but if you’re looking to do some studying here I wouldn’t say it’s the best cafe unless you like a lot of noise. It was a bit distracting hearing the coffee machines, people coming in/out, the music wasn’t as “cafe” like and there wasn’t a lot of outlets around it’s understandable since it is small and there’s not a lot of seating area. Still great if you need to be out on a whim for a late night study session just be wary of the noise. Overall, I would definitely come here again with my friends to try more of their food and drinks 😋

5 Star Rating Been here a few times now and have always been impressed with what I've ordered and with the service received. There really is something for everyone here. I wanted something warm, parents wanted something cold and fiance wanted something in between. The portions were more than decent! My bowl of soup was filled to the brim and my parents' halo halo was served in a big bowl for easy sharing. I couldn't believe how much ice cream came with the affogato. We were already full but demolished it cause it was so good. I plan to try their meals one day; the table next to us ordered food and the bowls looked huge. I will always support Filipino businesses but I try to be objective too. This place deserves all the business. If given the choice for tea, dessert, etc I will hands down opt to go here, just on value for money alone.

5 Star Rating Great place. I was one of the first to try their belgian waffles, which they toast to make nice and hot before dipping into their chocolate sauces just like the cones, and then also just like the cones you can add toppings. I went for cereal and graham crackers on one waffle and reese pieces on the other. Overall a great waffle ice cream sandwich, and the staff were amazing!

3 Star Rating Nice place, open late (until 1am) if you feel like snacking at night. Tried waffles, presented as Belgian, but they tasted like old bun dough. The ice cream is okay, but looks and tastes a bit like it’s artificially flavored. Chocolate lava cake didn’t have chocolate filling and didn’t “ooze out”, but tasted good though

4 Star Rating They have vanilla soft serve, 3 different sizes, and you get to choose the dip and toppings. Ice cream tastes very sweet, and customer service was great, 3 large cone soft serve were $27

5 Star Rating Great spot for ice cream lovers! La Diperie offers excellent choices in vanilla softy dips with added toppings as well as some really good hard ice cream and sorbet options. They also serve shakes and some good desserts to choose from at a very pocket friendly price. We tried their Dark chocolate vanilla softy dipped in almonds and oreo crumbs and tried a chocolate cone topped with nuts and both were delicious! Surely coming back for more. Update: I've always loved la diperie but now there's a better reason to visit them more often! They've introduced delicious Belgian waffles to their menu that tastes SO delicious. I tried their chocolate chip cookie dough waffle and the molten lava cake one and both were yummy licious!
