5 Star Rating I can’t begin to describe how amazing the service was. We stayed past closing because some of my guests arrived late due to poor road conditions, and not once were we rushed to order, eat, leave, or settle up. The waiter remained completely friendly with us until the end. The food came out quickly, and everyone at my table agreed it was some of the best Greek food they’ve ever tasted. The pricing was unbelievable as well—$106 (before tip) for all four of us to eat until we were stuffed. As for the atmosphere, it was a unique and cozy setting. I ate here a lot as a child, but coming back as an adult made me realize why my father was so fond of this place. I highly recommend it. This is easily the best dining experience I’ve had in Greektown—or any Greek restaurant, for that matter.

5 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Catering Experience – Highly Recommend Astoria Shish Kebob House We recently partnered with Astoria Shish Kebob House for a corporate event, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the outset, Nick provided truly exceptional customer service. His expertise and attention to detail made all the difference—he took the time to understand our needs, our audience, and the tone of our event, and then thoughtfully curated a menu that was both elevated and crowd-pleasing. His recommendations struck the perfect balance between variety, quality, and presentation. The food itself was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and reflective of the authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine Astoria is known for—rich in flavor and clearly made with care. Guests consistently commented on how delicious everything was, from the perfectly seasoned souvlaki to the fresh salads and sides. I would not hesitate to recommend Astoria Shish Kebob House for any corporate or private event, and I highly encourage anyone to work directly with Nick—his professionalism and expertise truly elevate the experience.

5 Star Rating The food was amazing, with great portion. Service was impeccable, the waitress was very nice. My highlight was definitely the Saganaki, it was delicious! It came with pita bread that was still warm so it paired well with the cheese. I'd definitely return to try other items from their menu.

5 Star Rating I celebrated my 30th birthday at Pantheon. It has such a cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted truly homemade, we ordered the octopus, calamari, and saganaki, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of authentic Greek flavor. You can really feel the tradition and care in every dish. The new owner has kept the restaurant exactly as it was, preserving its home-style charm and comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they even surprised us with a delicious cake, which made the evening feel extra special. Such a memorable birthday dinner. We can’t wait to go back!

4 Star Rating Came here on a weekday night and it was still very busy! I ordered the combo for two since we wanted a little taste of everything. I wasn’t disappointed. The highlights for me were the grilled octopus and calamari — both perfectly cooked, soft, and delicious. The spanakopita was also incredibly crispy, flaky, and packed with spinach and cheese. Pantheon really feels like a local jewel in the heart of Danforth, and you can see that through the service. Every staff member treats you like family, and I had a great experience with the servers. Definitely would come back again to try more dishes.

4 Star Rating They were able to accommodate us last minute today even though it was new year which was great! The food was delicious, especially the calamari. This is probably THE best calamari I’ve had around and that tzatziki is phenomenal!!!!! I ordered the small chicken souvlaki…only preference I had was that I wish the potatoes had a bit more of a lemon flavour. We also had the hummus + pita which was delicious! You can tell they have been doing this for a long time and it felt very homey in there restaurant.

5 Star Rating Family Day lunch with my brother at Pathon on the Danforth and it delivered exactly what you hope for when you walk into a proper Greek dining room — white linens, a busy hum of conversation, and those authentic Danforth Greek gentlemen who somehow run the floor with equal parts efficiency and old-school charm. If you’ve been to the Danforth, you know the vibe. It’s not curated. It just is. I stuck with the classic chicken souvlaki dinner (small size — and trust me, it’s not small). Started with a Greek salad that was bright and balanced, then the main plate rolled in: tender, fluffy boiled potatoes kissed with oregano, simple rice, perfectly marinated and juicy chicken souvlaki, and tzatziki. Now, the only note — and I say this with love — the plate deserved about three times the tzatziki. I don’t think asking for more than a tablespoon is greedy. It’s respectful to the chicken. That marinade was clearly done right, and it wants to swim a little. Finished with a proper espresso, strong and smooth. My brother generously picked up the bill, so I can’t comment on value — but judging by the size of the plate and the quality, it felt right in line with an expert-level Danforth experience. The small was more than enough for lunch (and I’m not exactly ordering off the kids menu). Five stars for food; slightly understaffed for the busy business experienced on Family Day. Classic. Authentic. No nonsense.

5 Star Rating I’ve been going to Messini for years, and the quality of the food never disappoints. Excellent service, fast and the food is very warm when they serve you. The quantity of the food is also impressive. Definitely worth the price I recommend the platters because I like to eat a lot, and if you want the Greek fries I would order them as an extra to your platter, it is cheaper and the quantity is still good to share between 3 to 4 people. I also love their salad! Always fresh and the feta they use is simply the best. I consider this the best Greek Restaurant in the city.

5 Star Rating We dined and enjoyed as family. Staffs were courteous, professional, and very pleasant. Decor and atmosphere were within theme. Dining areas were plentiful and clean. No wait times and were directed to our window table. We ordered several dishes from the menu. We got Pork / chicken skewers that come with choice of salads & potatoes. Food arrived quick. We selected greek salad. It had generous amount of feta cheese. Potato fries are ordered with feta cheese or plain. Skewers arrived after. All are in great portions, delicious, very filling, satisfying, and reasonably priced. Staffs checks frequently for anything needed. In the end, we were provided with sturdy take-out containers and paper bags. Overall service, meals, and experience were beyond expectation. We will definitely return again.

5 Star Rating Impromptu Friday evening dinner at Messini was a great idea. A 15 minute waiting time till we got a table. The server took the order and it took a bit of time till out food arrived. The Greek fries are way too good and were highly recommended. We tuckedin readily. The chicken and beef dishes were delicious and perfectly done. Loved the crispy bits the most. The Greek salad was the perfect side. The servings were rather large, although we ate with relish but ended up packing the left overs. We had coffee & ayran after the food which was great. Definitely going again to try out more on my next visit to Toronto.

5 Star Rating What a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming. The restaurant is spacious, spread across two and a half floors, creating the perfect setting for friends and family. The overall vibe of the place was amazing, making it easy to enjoy both the food and the company. The food was excellent from start to finish. After placing your order, you’re welcomed with a fresh Greek-style salad. The grilled halloumi was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our main dishes were generous, delicious, and full of authentic Mediterranean flavors. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Even the simple touches, like the olive oil and fresh bread served at the beginning, showed the quality and care that goes into every dish. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back again and again. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful energy. Highly recommended! 👌✨

5 Star Rating I’ve been a longtime fan of Mezes, visiting often when they were still at their old location, so returning to their new space was something I’d been looking forward to- and it did not disappoint. The expanded restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a warm, lively atmosphere and plenty of room to host gatherings. It’s a fantastic venue if you’re planning an event; the layout feels open, inviting, and perfect for sharing a meal with a larger group. As for the food, it’s exactly as I remembered- exceptional. The Greek fries are still one of the best around, perfectly seasoned and addictive. The chicken souvlaki remains a favourite: tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The moussaka is rich, comforting, and absolutely to die for. Pairing it all with a cold Greek beer just completes the experience. Mezes continues to deliver the same quality, hospitality, and delicious dishes that made me fall in love with it years ago. The new space only elevates an already well-loved restaurant. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

5 Star Rating We tried a selection of mezze to start — very good overall, though nothing completely out of this world. The standout for me was definitely the taramosalata, which was creamy and well balanced, especially paired with the warm, fresh pita. That combination was excellent. We also had the saganaki flambéed with brandy, which was a fun and classic touch. Always nice to see a bit of theatre in the dining room. For the main, we ordered the moussaka. The portion was huge and very satisfying, served with potatoes, delicious rice, and a fresh Greek salad. A very generous and comforting plate. Service was great — our server was super nice and helpful, guiding us toward some of their favorite dishes, which we appreciated. Overall, a solid Greek spot with generous portions and warm hospitality.

4 Star Rating Came here for a nice dinner during the Winterlicious event, where you pay a specific price for a 3-course meal from a specific Winterlicious menu that has a few options per course to choose from. I am just going to review this based on the dishes I personally ordered and from what I thought of the taste(s). Upon entering, where we were slightly early for our reservation, we noticed that the restaurant was rather busy and nobody acknowledged us for a couple minutes. Finally, a gentleman came over and took our names, and we were seated. As I have been to 7 Numbers twice before, I was very familiar with the atmosphere and what to expect ambiance-wise. The walls are nicely decorated, there is ample heating during the cold winter months, and the restaurant dining room is very dark, mostly lit by live candles - this gives a very comfortably intimate vibe, but be advised that since it is quite dark, it would be slightly difficult to see some things and you have to be careful not to knock over things in the shadows. Regarding the service... I found the staff to be friendly enough when interacting with you, but the overall feeling was that everyone and everything was a little rushed - not to the point where you feel dismissed, but it was definitely not the slow, attentive and personalized service that you may come to expect from a restaurant of this caliber. That was most clearly highlighted by the fact that they began taking away our candles even before we fully got dressed and left our table at the end of the night. Okay, onto the food! Probably what you guys care about the most anyways. For my appetizer, I ordered the "Piccole Polpette al Cuore di Mozzarella" - mini beef meatballs with cheese and a delicious tomato based sauce. The portion size looked rather small at first, but there was a decent amount of substance in the dish. The meatballs were well-cooked, and contained molten cheese on the inside as a filling. The flavours really complimented each other nicely, and the meat and cheese were elegantly balanced by the sauce. I would give this dish a solid 8/10. For the main, I ordered the "Branzino alla Pugliese" - pan-seared sea bass with a tomato–olive–caper relish, served over lemon-scented farro and finished with fresh herbs. The sea bass had crispy skin, and was thoroughly cooked. The meat was not extremely moist but contained plenty of flavour. I will admit, some bites were slightly "fishy", not terribly distracting but it is a fair warning to anyone who is very queasy when it gets to seafood taste, that the fish will taste like, well, fish!? The tomato and olive caper relish was a great pairing to the fish, as the sweetness of the tomatoes and the saltiness of the olives truly elevated the star up a notch. There were two side compliments, one a parmesan cheese, the other a roasted (jalapeno?) pepper side, which can be used to top off your mains. The roasted peppers had a bit of a kick to it and tasted really good - highly recommended. The parmesan, well, you can never have too much parmesan! Anyways, the sea bass main was solid - I'll give it a nice 8.2/10. Finally, it was time for my dessert. I ordered the "Nutella Tiramisu" - espresso-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone, and a swirl of Nutella, all packed into a 125ml mason jar. It was nice, which is a decent compliment in my books. Smooth, creamy, and decadent, a nice ending to a solid meal. 8/10. A disclaimer, the POS machine is set up so that the default min tip percentage (%) is 20%, which is what I went with, but if you are used to 12%, 15%, or 18% (or something else), you will need to manually enter a $ value or your own % value. All in all, this was a good dining experience, and I expected nothing less as I knew the food here to be really good anyways. 7 Numbers Danforth serves quality Italian cuisine with a cozy quaint atmosphere. Although I didn't have drinks this time, I have during my previous experiences here and yes their drinks are great as well. It was a pleasant evening. Thanks for reading if you made it this far, have a wonderful day!

4 Star Rating Food 8/10 - had the pork chop, calamari, wine, spicy margarita. Service 8/10 - attentive for the most part! Ambiance 8/10 - we could occasionally smell some sort of back up from the washrooms… 🤢 was quite disturbing. I get that it might be out of the restaurants hands… but you gottta fix that asap!!! Outside of the washroom smell issue ambiance was amazing. Love the cozy feel! One thing I will say… when the bill came and the terminal was passed to me, the lowest tip option is 20% …. And that just really rubs me the wrong way. You’re assuming so much! Left a bad taste in my mouth TBH. Of course I would have left 18% as I always do for this type of service. But Why do you assume everyone will be 20% satisfied with their visit? The fact that’s it’s pre-populated is tacky.

2 Star Rating Good service and vibe. Sadly, I had the displeasure of being served the worst cod dish I've ever had. It's was even maybe the worst food I've been served in a restaurant. The sauce, the degree of fish doneness, the texture, the taste, all 100% awful. I only ate it out of post-workout hunger and politeness to my dinner companion who was taking me out - but it was a chore. My partners dish was great and others people's food looked good. But wow, what an awful, awful dish that fish was.

5 Star Rating First time at Demetres. We ordered the Splitsonian French Crepe and the Red Velvet Cheesecake. Each dessert was pretty big and shareable. I really enjoyed the Splitsonian the most. The crepe was well made and there was a lot of fruit outside and within. The cake was good as well but a little on the dense side. The restaurant is also really nicely decorated and I enjoyed the vibes. The servers were attentive and welcoming!

Our waiter Arad was wonderful, very polite and friendly and helpfully refilled my glass of water which I very much needed when eating a thick cheesecake! I got the Crumb and Crumber and my friend had the Cocoa Ono. I requested to switch the honey vanilla ice cream for dulce & banana to try a new flavour, and wasn’t disappointed, was very yummy :) Both were delicious and high quality desserts. I also appreciated that the music here wasn’t too loud.

4 Star Rating We stopped by Demetres on the Danforth for dessert, and while the place was surprisingly empty at the time, the experience was still very positive thanks to the excellent service. The server was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond by helping us carry a stroller up the stairs, which was genuinely appreciated and set a great tone for the visit. For dessert, we shared two items and both were standouts. The Pecanchu on a crepe was absolutely delicious. It came with honey vanilla ice cream, oven-baked apple crisp, cardamom crème anglaise, and candied pecans. The combination worked really well — the apples and cinnamon were warm and comforting, the cardamom added a subtle depth, and the candied pecans gave a nice crunch. Everything balanced nicely without being overly sweet. We also ordered the Cherry Godmother on a waffle, which featured chocolate cashmere ice cream that was rich but not too sweet. The fudge brownies paired beautifully with the black cherry compote, and the slight tartness of the cherries helped balance the sweetness of the Belgian white chocolate. It felt indulgent without being overwhelming. Overall, Demetres delivered exactly what you want from a dessert spot: well-executed, comforting desserts and genuinely kind service. Even though it was quiet when we visited, the quality of both the food and the hospitality made it a place we’d happily return to for a sweet treat.

5 Star Rating The Best 👌 value for your money 💰 on the Danforth in terms of Greek 🇬🇷 Cuisine. Try the Chicken 🐔 or Pork Souvlaki Dinners 🍽 😋 with Rice 🍚 & Roast Potato 🥔 a Greek Salad 🥗 is included. I like 👍 the large dinner 🍽. Gyros Dinners 🍽 are also extremely popular 👌 you can also get them served on a Pita. The wait Staff are friendly & very accommodating. Order a take out order to go 🚶‍♂️ 🙌 & it's ready in about 15 to 20 minutes for pickup. I been coming here for over 25 years. Highly recommended 👌 🇬🇷 🇬🇷 🇬🇷 🇬🇷 🇬🇷

5 Star Rating A nice restaurant on Danforth with a very rustic feel. The food here was very tasty and well portioned and prices were reasonable. Our server was friendly quick and efficient. Unlike most Greek restaurants that serve warm pita, we were served a lightly buttered toasted sesame seed bread and it was delicious.

5 Star Rating Amazing Greek restaurant! Lots of seating and very nice place for a quiet dinner getaway. It’s in the heart of Greektown and there’s street parking but also a few GreenP lots around the area. We had the Tzatziki dip and the Feta cheese, which came with amazing, warm breads, superb to make small bites and spreads. Moreover, we had the spinach pies (Spanakopitakiya), which were very good, in shapes of mini-Samosas, we also the stuffed vine leaves (Dolmades), which were also delicious. Apart from the feta cheese, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyros platter, which was out of the world (came with a large salad on the side). We also had their fried cod fish, which was satisfactory. Overall, a great trip and would definitely recommend especially as the prices here are extremely affordable. Thanks!

3 Star Rating Was good 10 years ago. Chicken was below average flavour, while rice was boring and the potatoes were decent. Quality has went down with the decor at the same rate looks like. Won’t be back but service was good

5 Star Rating To die for: this exceptional establishment serves only the finest dishes that Greek cuisine has to offer. The chicken gyro wrap was so tasty that I found myself stopping mid-chew, closing my eyes, and just enjoying the perfectly balanced experience going on in my mouth - the first time this happens in a long time. The hospitality was second to none and the ambience was warm and comforting. I will be back with family and friends to treat them to this unique culinary experience! Thank you!

5 Star Rating Best dessert we've had in a while. We are absolutely obsessed with the chocolate lava cake here. It's like a dream come true. Reminiscent of the Mexican brownie with vanilla ice we all loved & had to get our own (no sharing allowed lol) at Moxies before they discontinued it. We tried to get it to-go but didn't make it out the store with it. Will definitely return & recommend. I honestly dont think I can order anything else from this place after that. Don't get me wrong. There's lots of variety; much more options than I've seen in a dessert spot for a while. But this dessert most definitely stole my heart & my taste buds. 💕

3 Star Rating Nice place, open late (until 1am) if you feel like snacking at night. Tried waffles, presented as Belgian, but they tasted like old bun dough. The ice cream is okay, but looks and tastes a bit like it’s artificially flavored. Chocolate lava cake didn’t have chocolate filling and didn’t “ooze out”, but tasted good though

5 Star Rating Great spot for ice cream lovers! La Diperie offers excellent choices in vanilla softy dips with added toppings as well as some really good hard ice cream and sorbet options. They also serve shakes and some good desserts to choose from at a very pocket friendly price. We tried their Dark chocolate vanilla softy dipped in almonds and oreo crumbs and tried a chocolate cone topped with nuts and both were delicious! Surely coming back for more. Update: I've always loved la diperie but now there's a better reason to visit them more often! They've introduced delicious Belgian waffles to their menu that tastes SO delicious. I tried their chocolate chip cookie dough waffle and the molten lava cake one and both were yummy licious!

5 Star Rating The greatest Indian Cuisine I have tried in town so far, with friendly service and welcoming dining environment. The butter chicken was full of flavor, rich but not over creamy, also the chicken was juicy. Lamb was a bit spicy but meat was soft and tasty. There is a wall with special decors which are very attractive. The restaurant is spacious for dining in. Services were great and they attached a lovely postcard with bills. A livery place for enjoying Indian food at Greek Town.

5 Star Rating Everything was amazing! All the food was had so much flavour, not too spicy, and came really fast. For the amount and quality of the food the price is also great. Top dishes I would recommend would be the Sizzling Platter and Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan.
