Very impressed! The taste and preparation was incredible. We ordered take away but we'll definately return to dine in. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The chirashi was generous with expertly prepared sashimi. The tempura was also a fan favorite. Beautiful balance of panko and vegetables, Perfect crispiness surrounding fresh tasting veggies. Looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu.

The pork katsu was really good. The lovely lady showed us a card board written with their email for interac since we didn’t bring any cash. Me and my wife did not even finish the whole meal since it was so massive. Not bad for its price which is $12. Highly recommended for cheap eats.

Hi! Today I went to a Model UN conference and needed takeout in a hurry. Yanagi Sushi was amazing, the chefs made everything freshly and the waitress sat me down at a table to wait and relax. They were also clear and exact on wait times, and were very kind. Their lunch comes with delicious miso soup and a fresh salad. I had the 6pc spicy salmon and 6pc spicy tuna lunch meal. 10/10! Would reccomend, especially for people with more sensitive stomachs who still love sushi. Did not upset my stomach at all and I love Yanagi Sushi! 🩷

This place is great and has consistently has some of the best sushi in the area. The service is friendly and they have a nice variety of Japanese and Korean dishes. As a celiac, I could only eat the sushi amd sashimi but the rolls that my son got and the dish that his boyfriend had both looked and smelled delicious. They said they were great. I would highly recommend Yanagi Sushi.

We visited Yangi Sushi on the Danforth as a group of six. At first the server looked surprised and mentioned she didn’t have a table for that many people, but when we asked if we could split between two booths she kindly agreed. A moment later a man picking up takeout mentioned she was the only server working and very busy — despite that, she did a fantastic job and kept up really well throughout our meal! All the food was extremely fresh and tasty. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality was there. We ordered the Yangi Boat for 3 ($94), plus Kimchi, Vegetable Tempura, and two orders of Salmon Roe. It ended up being far more food than we expected — the sushi boat alone would have been plenty for three people. We even needed takeout containers for the leftovers. Our bill came to $183 for three people, which reflects both the generous portions and the quality. Overall, a delicious meal with great service under pressure — we’ll be back, but next time we’ll order a little less!

I recently visited Sunset Grill for breakfast with one of my friend and overall experience I had a good experience . The customer service was really friendly and welcoming, which made the visit enjoyable. I especially liked the pancakes and the orange juice they were fresh and tasty. However, one small issue was with my order. I got a cheeseburger, but it didn’t have any cheese, just the meat, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was decent, not amazing but not bad either. I’d still consider coming back for breakfast.

Disappointed with this visit. The restaurant didn’t feel clean, and the service was quite slow from start to finish. The food itself was just okay, but the hollandaise sauce was really off. When I pointed it out to the server, it was met with dismissal instead of concern. Between the lack of cleanliness, slow service, and poor attitude, the experience fell well below expectations.

Came here for the first time to takeout brunch with my boyfriend. The atmosphere was super nice, a lot of seating and the staff were very kind and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed for our breakfast and the food was super delicious. Will come back again soon to dine in :)

I had a great experience at this Tim Hortons. Anushia provided excellent customer service and was incredibly friendly throughout my visit. She was always smiling, even while handling a large number of orders during a very busy time. Despite how busy it was, the speed of service was impressive, and everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Anushia’s positive attitude and dedication made my visit enjoyable. I would definitely return to this location and highly recommend it to others.

Last Sunday, early afternoon, I went into Shoppers to go to Tim Horton's. There were a few customers ahead of me. There were also customers at the walk-up window. Only one employee was working! She was pleasant in spite of being so busy. I ordered my usual London Fog and presented my reusable cup. The London Fog was made well but was made in a paper cup and the contents transferred to my cup which defeats the purpose of bringing a reusable cup. Management: 1. Please have another employee on this shift 2. Please provide a jug (as some other locations do) so the employees can prepare the drinks in something reusable and then pour the contents into the reusable cup a customer provides or instruct employees to prepare drinks in reusable cups. Starbucks has this down. Why not Tim Horton's? It is 2026!!!

So as the add-ons part of the menu says $3.50 for three sausage links and $3.50 for three pieces of bacon. I’ve been coming to this location for like over six years because I live right next-door to it. So sometimes I’ll come and just get Extras for what I’m cooking at home. The lady this morning was super rude, impatient, and I get it it’s cold and the economy sucks but the least thing we can all be as personable. It costs nothing. So I just gave her kindness and left, but she tried to charge me An extra dollar so I canceled the sausage links and just got bacon, but my receipt says small coffee?

Absolutely terrible value for the money. $4.19 for a bag of fries that is less than half full. It’s insulting to hand a customer food that looks like someone already ate half of it on the way to the counter. Incredibly stingy portions for the price.

Great experience at this A&W! The location was super clean and well-maintained, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Service was impressively fast — my order was ready within minutes. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. Definitely one of the better fast food spots I’ve been to lately. Will be coming back!

Clean and orderly. All chairs and stools tucked under clean tables; not one used tray above the wastebasket. Kids handwashing sinks were clean and dry. Condiment/ straw area fully stocked and neat. Came for takeout at 20:47 Saturday Aug.09 2026 and found the staff in the middle of cleaning when there were no customers to see them doing it.

I came in first thing in the morning and was happy to see they were open. The gentleman serving me was so polite with the right amount of small talk. The veggies were fresh, the bread was fresh and the service was amazing. The restaurant was clean, tables, floors, machines and best of all no crumbs. I got a 6" BLT and it was absolutely delicious 😋, that I almost regretted not getting a 12" (but that was just the foodie in me). Hands down, my best and favorite Subway shop ever. Thank you to the kind gentleman that served me that morning

I went to this Subway location this evening to order 6 subs and the store was really busy and rushed. The boy working there handled everything so fast and professionally. Even with so many orders, he made all the subs perfectly. He was also very polite and respectful the whole time. Customer service was honestly 5/5. Really appreciated the great service, and I would definitely visit this location again.

Love this place. The vibes are impeccable. What the owners have created here is something truly special. It’s everything you want in a local spot — welcoming and filled with heart. You can genuinely feel the care and effort that’s gone into making it more than just a bar. The drink selection is excellent, and the wings and fries absolutely hit the spot. We were there to watch Heated Rivalry and the atmosphere was perfect. They even let us stay to watch one more episode. This is a rare gem in Toronto, and we’ll definitely be back.

Fun lil gay-friendly bar I went to today to catch the NBA finals. I was in East York (where I rarely ever am) and needed to find somewhere nearby to watch the game - stumbled into this cute little location run by Indigenous 2S individuals, Natasha and CC, and it was awesome. They offer great food and programming, centering the community in a really interesting and fun way. Will be back in a flash if I get a chance! The smoked lime tequila wings were really fun!

I recently bought a bowl, the flavours and taste was nice and it was fairly filling. The only downside was the packaging which really needs improvement. My cover fell out (it's a very loose for on the bowl) and some of the sauce spilled out. In addition the paper bowl gets soggy really quick so be aware.

Honestly, place was clean, the worker was nice. However I think the pricing is a bit much, as someone who is vegetarian I ordered just a plain veggie quesadilla. & at first the girl didn’t even ask if I wanted beans she just asked if I wanted the soy meat. I said no and proceeded to the veggies than I realized they had beans while my quesadilla was in the toaster and asked to have a little bit. Also guac is usually added to any veggie meal without charge at most places and it just seemed like a rip off tbh. I get charged for a quesadilla and then an extra 2$ for beans!!!it’s a veggie quesadilla the beans are suppose to be a must! Anyways, I won’t be coming back because my quesadilla was suppose to be 12.99+ tax and came up to 18$ with all the up chargers. Ridiculous. They couldn’t even add shrimp to a small burrito they said it has to be large? & couldn’t add shrimp into the quesadilla. Seems a bit greedy. I know times are hard but why do I have to spent so much just to eat?

First time to try Ethiopian cuisine. Did not disappoint. The meat is tender and tasty. Tried the coffee not the usual taste one can expect. The lady serving was engaging and provided great service. It was a food adventure that was worth taking.

Have been a regular for past 3 years and its an absolute heart warming experience every time! Every dish is simple, comforting and super flavourful. The beef and chicken are my favourites.Even a humble green gram curry tastes delicious…. The service is so homely and the Coffee is my absolute favourite. And love the fact that they’re open late, but make sure to give a call and check if they have injera , on weekend-nights/late nights. Always going back here!!!

Great dinner experience. Period. It was quiet when I went, that should change as the weather warms up. Check out the meat and veggie platter (pic) which was done very well. No complaints on the many pieces of injera which complimented the dishes. I'll say this, though...you know it's good when the owner is watching you enjoy every savoury mouthful with a smile. Not invasive, but kind and genuine! Next time, I'll come earlier and do the coffee ceremony! Enjoyed this humble, small shop on The Danforth, with good parking and access to the subway. Come visit them now!

We walked in with friends almost by chance — and it turned into a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of soul. You can feel the authenticity and heart of Ethiopian culture here. The food was absolutely delicious, but the highlight was the coffee. I thought I knew what good coffee was… but honestly, before this moment, I had never really tasted coffee. They performed a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony for us. The beans were roasted right in front of us — fragrant smoke rising from the pan, filling the air with the most rich, earthy aroma. It was mesmerizing. Then they brewed this magical elixir from the freshly roasted beans and served it in a beautiful clay pot. The coffee was poured into tiny cups — deep, smooth, incredibly flavorful. It almost makes you lose your words. The ceremony was accompanied by burning incense, which made the whole experience feel sacred and special. This is not just a restaurant — it’s an experience. We will absolutely be back.

I discovered this restaurant on a walk. The arepas are incredible. They are packed and full of flavor. The service is exceptional and the inside is so beautiful. It’s definitely a repeat stop. I finished my food so fast I forgot to take a picture sadly.

A great place to hang out with friends and family for brunch or afternoon snacks. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, staff is always friendly though service can be on the slow side - expect a laid back, non rushed experience. We always enjoy the guava and cheese empanadas, arepas are big and messy in the best ways (sauces are the best part), and coffee is great.

An absolute treat! We just happened to stumble upon this restaurant and decided to give it a go... and it was wonderful! The food was amazing. I had the Dominos Arepa and it was truly one of the best dishes I've ever had. Paired with my Iced Banana Matcha and Yuca Fries, it was a 10/10 lunch. Would dine here again in a heartbeat!
