I genuinely can’t describe how impressive the repeat experiences are from this location. You can’t always go into fast food with high expectations but this dominos pizza is incredible at continually producing the best pizza I’ve had from any franchise location. We moved to East York in February and haven’t had a single bad experience. Staff are super pleasant. It’s very easy to see that they give excellent care in what they do which certainly deserves to be recognized.

Always quick delivery and quality food. I've never been into the store but imagine it would be solid based on my good interactions. In one standout case, someone from the store called me to let me know deliveries were running behind and made sure I was okay with that.

A must try at Dominos pizza is the thin crust "Extravaganzza pizza" with garlic parmesan base instead of the pizza sauce with crushed red peppers with garlic and herbs. It is absolutely phenomenal. We also ordered the "Hawaiian pizza" with the garlic parmesan sauce instead of the pizza sauce, another classic with a twist!

Pizza here beats the ones in Europe! The crust is, like, totally awesome, loaded with more toppings, and the service is way friendlier. 😁🍕 And, most importantly, you're eating pizza, not just flour with some dough dip, you know. 👌 They don't skimp on ingredients, and every time I check, they've got some sweet deals going on. Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite! 😜

Very good pizza chain, delivery was fast and fresh. Very simple two pizzas I ordered. Medium cheese and extra Large Pepperoni pizza. Ordered thru the app, can’t complain. Nothing better then some pizza on a Friday night. 41 dollars was the total with 5 dips. I would say that’s reasonable.

Tried a walk in slice from Danforth Pizza House and went with their $6 walking special pepperoni. The slice was pretty solid. The crust wasn’t too thick and had a nice crunch, which I appreciated. The sauce, pepperoni, and cheese were all good and balanced. Nothing overly greasy and it held together well. Is it the best slice in the city? Personally, I’d say no there are definitely better walk in pizza slices around Toronto. But is it decent? Absolutely. For $6, it’s a good value for what you get, and that’s always nice to have when you just want a quick slice. At the end of the day, it already beats Pizza Pizza, so that’s a win in my books. One thing to note this spot is cash only. I’ll probably come back another time to try a made to order pie and see how it compares.

The staff and management at this restaurant were very friendly. I really enjoyed their pizza. I had the mushroom and green pepper slice, which cost $6 and was delicious. If I want to have pizza again, I will definitely come back here.

Why is this place not on any of the big "best pizza in Toronto" lists? Why has the city made me work so hard to finally find a pizza worth ordering again and again and again? I've spent 20+ years looking for a good, old fashioned, tasty pizza in Toronto—a place that cares about the quality of the cheese used, makes a damn good sauce and has just the right level of toasted crust. I finally found it all with my very first order from this long-time establishment, and that order was the House Special. Thank you Danforth Pizza House, you've become my first go-to pizza joint in the city.

Danforth Pizza House is a charming, family-owned restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The owner’s sons, who run the place, are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I tried their special, and while the pizza was fresh and well-made, I found it a bit lacking in flavor. The sauce and dough could use a bit more seasoning or salt to bring out the flavors. That being said, it’s still a great spot for a casual meal. Keep in mind, they only accept cash, so be sure to come prepared!💵

Ordered once before and it was memorable and great. Tonight I have to give a 2.5-just received an order. It was wrong Wanted to support a family run business but the slices are incredibly bland. Ordered the Diavola pizza and asked for no olives due to serious allergies. Olives are on the pizza. The person that ate a slice mentioned there is 1 pepper per slice and zero other toppings besides the olives that were specifically requested to not be on the pizza Ordered a rosé pizza as their special indicated. Can say that is not rosé and is extremely greasy. Really wanted to like it by $110 later for 2 pizzas and I feel I would had received the same quality from pizza pizza. Bummed as this is for a celebration and this pizza has no love despite being family owned, recipes etc. Whatever was good here seems like it’s lost.

Makkah Restaurant offers a wide variety of Bangladeshi halal dishes with plenty of options to choose from. The taste is average – nothing extraordinary but decent if you’re craving deshi food. Prices are a bit on the higher side considering it’s self-service. The good part is they have enough seating space, so finding a spot to sit isn’t usually a problem. You may try if you’re nearby and want Bangladeshi food.

This place is absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to go back and get more. A solid spot — even the guy in line told me it’s the best kebab around, and I believe him. The flavours are bold and satisfying, and the clientele themselves are proof of its authenticity. Its longevity says it all — consistent food and genuine service that’s clearly kept the community coming back for years.

Makkah is a consistent go to place for good spicy food. I've never had a bad meal there. I like the veggie tahli, meat tali, the naan is fantastic! The wings with the red sauce and the veal are excellent. Very good portions for the price!

I’m not sure why but I really love this place, has a home cooked feel to it. I have ordered from here a few times and I like the rice and chicken from the biriyani, could be more spicy-i might just be numb to it tho. I also tried the chicken samosa and chicken roll. Got the Samosa fresh and hot and was great!!! Enjoyed the sauce that came with it. The roll was cold and I feel like I’ve had better take your chance with it tho because normally their food is great. Also had butter chicken and it was very sweet and lots of chicken, personally I would have preferred more sauce. I enjoyed the veggies it came with wish there was more!!! Yummy meal

Square boys definitely has an old school diner vibe - Love it. They have an original Pacman box right in the front- takes quarters so bring your change. The gentleman taking my order was so pleasant and easy to chat with. Everyone in that restaurant was on point - as busy as it was - no mixups, nothing burnt or soggy. Fresh veggies and my Gyro was the best I've had in years. I forgot to order extra tzatziki, but for once I didn't even have to. They did hold back- loved it. Make sure you come with cash. I heard their Chicken Ceasar is where it is... so Sq Boys, I will definitely be back for the whole entire dinner. I love that they're still in business, I haven't been to Square boys since back in H.S in 2006 when I used to order just fries. Everything is still awesome.

This is a Danforth institution, I have been here many times, tried everything on the menu, but my favourite is still the pork souvlaki on a bun with fresh fries and gravy. Everything is prepared as soon as you order it with fresh ingredient, the place is very old school they only take cash! The wait is short, but the seating can be limited. I love the food so I will be back again soon.

This place has been a staple on the Danforth for years. Ordered the Chicken Souvlaki dinner and it came with a gigantic portion of fries for under $20. They also serve some delicious burgers, just make sure to order the homemade burger. Rustic diner vibes on the inside with limited seating.

Burgers are amazing here, they never disappoint. But today I order a small Greek salad and this does not look good. Lettuce is going brown and overall just messy. Look completely different on menu vs what I got.

Came here for lunch on a Friday and it was very quiet, I had seated immediately by a very kind waitress. My food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious, I got the miso ramen which has a thick flavourful broth and pork slices cooked perfectly. Would absolutely recommend

Always a pleasure ordering from Madina Halal Pizza. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the pineapple ground beef pizza. The dips are a must-try, and everything being halal is a huge plus. They also offer amazing value. I ordered 4 party-size pizzas, wings, 20 dips, and drinks for under $160, which easily fed 15 adults with leftovers. I’ve attached photos of the menu and my order which was great!

The first thing that caught my attention when I entered Madina Halal Pizza & Chicken Wings was the smile on Fayrouz's face, the man who manages the restaurant. I asked for Pepperoni Pizza, Halal Pepperoni, brother Fayrouz said it’s 💯 percent Halal, which made me feel comfortable having my food in the dining room, undoubtedly, the service is amazing, the food is great, the atmosphere is quiet, and the restaurant is neat, I recommend it to get an excellent customer satisfaction and food. Their signature sauce is very tasty 😋

My family and I have been coming here for over 30 years, and it's incredible to see how they've continued to grow while maintaining the quality and service that made us loyal customers in the first place. The pizza is consistently delicious, the ingredients are always fresh, and it's one of the few places that has become a true family tradition for us. As a halal pizza restaurant, they've always delivered great food without compromising on quality. One thing that really stands out recently is their refreshed branding and menu design. The new look is clean, modern, and much easier to navigate. It's now incredibly simple to show the menu to friends and family when recommending the restaurant, which makes sharing our favourite items even easier. It's rare to find a business that can stay relevant for decades while still honouring what made people love it in the first place. Highly recommended, and here's to many more years of great pizza! 🍕👏

I went here yesterday and it was the best pizza and wings I’ve ever had. The pizza was unreal: perfectly cooked crust, loaded with toppings, and the flavor was next-level. And the wings were crispy, juicy, saucy, and addictive. Shoutout to Tofan — absolute legend. Super friendly, made the whole experience even better, and you can tell they really care about customers. If you’re debating where to order from, stop debating and just go here. I’m already planning my next order.

The vibe at this restaurant isn’t great, but once you start talking to the person behind the cash register, you start to feel better. We got the chicken Alfredo penne and the basic Mac & Cheese with wings (bbq + hot) The wings were meh as they were cold and bear in mind. We were dine in. (5-6 => could’ve been better => too much hot sauce) The Mac and cheese looked and tasted good but once you’re done with the top layer of cheese, the macaroni wasn’t really coated with the sauce. You could kinda see the macaroni. (Overall 7-7.5) The Alfredo chicken however was solid. The sauce was great, good seasoning on the chicken (Solid 9)

We all rated it "5 beans "! The Mac was described as 5 stars, by a known " Mac Critique " I concur. My chicken Mac was hot, flavorful, and totally on point! The garlic wedges were fantastic (and Im not a wedge guy, per se). The incoming described the penne rose was very good, although the Mac was preferred. This place was a full winner!

Came here with my riding group and the food was AMAZING, the worker was possibly the nicest person alive and she was so helpful and awesome. Food was so worth the price and I couldn’t even make it through half because of how filling it was. So good!!

Came here this evening with my wife and young kids. We initially planned to dine in and even moved tables to accommodate our family. While waiting, a group of young men nearby were extremely loud, using excessive profanity, and behaving aggressively, with no regard for the fact that small children were present (there was another father also with his young child too). At one point, it even felt like a fight might break out. The dining space is quite small (roughly 15 people), so it was impossible to avoid the situation. Because we didn’t feel comfortable exposing our kids to that environment, we decided to switch to takeout. When I raised the concern with staff, it was acknowledged, but no action was taken. There really needs to be a basic code of conduct and zero tolerance for this kind of behavior—especially for a restaurant that has “halal” in its name and is located a block away from Madinah Masjid. Our community spaces should feel safe and welcoming for families. We ended up driving 20 minutes back home to eat cold food. The burgers were delicious, and the pasta tasted good, but the pasta had very little meat, which was disappointing. We spent about $90 tonight, and unfortunately, given the overall experience, we likely won’t be returning unless the restaurant makes it family friendly at all times.

This place as been around since I’ve been a kid, (2005) they know what they are doing when it comes to quality food! Love their Philly cheesesteak! It’s a must to at least grab once a week! Got their chicken and hands down biggest chicken and juicy chicken in the area! Love the staff always smiling and very good vibes!

I stumbled upon this place while I was walking by on a cold Feb night and needed something light to eat. Ordered a pastor (pork) taco and steak volcano. I was taken back by the amount of salsas, sauces they provided. Every salsa tasted distinctly different and very tasty...they were all different levels of heat. The food tasted fresh and full of flavor. They also brought a big bowl of sauted onions and jalapenos. I definitely need to visit this place again with my wife. they priced so well...GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY AND GREAT TASTING FOOD!

I loved the tacos here. Especially the volcan. Their spread is lovely and I love how they just free pour portion on the table instead of giving them in tubes. I loved the tacos and tried the beef tongue and stomach ones. Nice and flavourful. I will definitely pass recommend revisit

I have never in my life ordered more food while I was eating ever, at any restaurant till now. It was so good we ordered more halfway though the meal. This is where you need to be eating authentic Mexican food. We knew it was going to be good when we walked by and there was cheerful Mexican music drawing us in and the specials were handwritten on Bristol board tapped to the window. Anyone who knows about good food, knows what the signs are of an authentic spot when they see it. This restaurant did not disappoint. The service was great and the staff were so warm and inviting. We got a variety of items and all were hot, fresh and delicious. Two things that just blew us away were the range of toppings and sauces they bring to your table for you to use as you see fit - the chilies and pineapple put that on their chicken burrito and you are welcome! I wish I had gotten a photo it was a few different hot sauces, toppings, guacamole and fixings. As well as that the burritos had no rice it’s was all meat and beautifully flavoured vegetables. They bring fresh roasted chilies and onions to your table! I have never ever had Mexican food this good in Toronto. You need to come here and yes it’s a little hole in the wall type but I promise you Anthony Bourdain would eat here, you should too.

Yesterday was my first time visiting this Mexican restaurant, and I was extremely happy with the experience. I came with three friends, and all of us loved the tacos—they were delicious, full of flavor, and had the perfect amount of spice. The service was wonderful, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Overall, we had a great experience. The environment was amazing, and the location was very clean. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!
