Definitely a wonderful and delicious experience. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a very nice lofty feeling to it. The patio was nice but we had a big party so ate inside. We tried just about everything on the menu.
The sardines (not normally something I would get) were superb! Each dish was wonderfully delicious. The piri piri shrimp, lobster bisque, octopus. All fantastic.
The seafood risotto was also amazing and rich with flavour and lots of seafood.
The house red was something we also all gravitated towards and was rich and full bodied which paired nicely with the seafood.
Would certainly recommend.

Came here for summerlicious! I loved being able to try various things on the menu. The octopus was good but it was just pretty plain. The veggies needed some seasoning. Salad was delicious, and so was the tartar. I loved the sardines and how they were paired. Yum!

Our party of five had an excellent experience at Adega.
The menu was packed with delicious options, and they had several strong specials of the night. The wine by bottle list was extensive, but their by the glass was smaller and all from Portugal. Our host was proactive and offered a tasting of the wine by glass that matched my typical choice.
This proactive nature was indicative of the quality care our host (and assistant servers!) provided throughout the evening. He was accommodating, patient with menu inquiries, and professional—certainly felt like a fine dining experience.
The prices were standard for this type of restaurant; the prices of the specials were not shared. In regards to wine, some prices seemed a bit higher than your typical wine shop purchase, yet still made sense for this establishment. Also note that 18% will be added to your bill if your party is 5+.
We made it difficult at the end with asking to split the tab by individual order but, yet again, they were both kind and accommodating.
A final note, at last moment we shared we were celebrating our friend's birthday, and he brought out a Portuguese custard dessert that was phenomenal. Yes! Even if you do not like custard!

We got lucky on a Sunday and were the only customers. I think we got served by the owner. Such warm family style service. The decor, the music the ambience felt so authentic. And lastly the food was mouth watering. He did something special for my friend’s birthday. Highly highly recommend.
Had the Tiger Shrimp, Squid which rival the best in the city. So delicious.

Really tasty food on the saltier side. Got the prix-fixe menu which came with an appetizer and main:
- Salted Cod Quenelles: Really creamy interior, nice crispy exterior. Would have liked a bit of a stronger cod taste, but this was good.
- Pan Roasted Herb Crusted Salmon: Good heft to the salmon, not overly crusted, strong herb flavour, perfect pan roast. Side veggies complemented the main well.
Service is helpful and attentive. Kitchen is efficient. Prices are what prices are these days. Place is well spaced and tastefully decorated. A good dining option, especially if you love seafood.

Wonderful experience at this wonderful gem. I brought a friend and my grandmother and it was nice. Had sandwiches and French toast. Delicious choices. The waitress was wonderful. Super friendly. The restaurant is small but delightful. Bathroom is down a set of stairs. Not accommodating if you can’t do stairs.

A convenient location cross the street from the Mirvish theater on Victoria St. near the Eaton Center. A quick drop in your get something before the show starts.

The Senator is a charming little spot that feels like stepping into a cozy, old-school diner with a touch of elegance. The inside is very cute and quaint, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal.
Yes, it’s definitely on the pricey side—expect to pay about twice as much as you would at somewhere like Sunset Grill. But in this case, you’re absolutely getting what you pay for. The breakfast is delicious—easily more than twice as tasty, so take that for what it's worth. Everything is cooked to perfection, from the eggs to the crispy bacon and perfectly toasted bread.
The staff are also lovely, friendly, and attentive, adding to the overall experience. While it might not be an everyday spot for the budget-conscious, it’s absolutely worth the splurge every now and then for a truly enjoyable breakfast.

The restaurant is VERY small. It is recommended you make reservations.
The food was very tasty and was served hot & fresh. The portion are a good size.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The washrooms are in the basement (not wheelchair accessible) and could use an upgrade/update.
It is located at Dundas St & Victoria St. Conveniently across from the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre and near Dundas Square.
Parking is available right next door (outdoor) or there is underground parking within a minute walk (less expensive)

I've been there twice and a big fan of their Thai Foods. Specially their Islamic Noodles (Not on the Menu, but very popular 🤭) is the best. I've tried in both forms, with Shrimp or with Chicken and in both cases it was top notch 10/10. And the name says it all, it's Halal. We've tried other items as well. They were great as well. Their portion size is also excellent.
The place is spacious, the ambiance is great and the waiters were really friendly.
P.S. Don't go beyond 10-15 level of spice even if you are from South Asia like (Bangladesh/India/Pakistan).

The place is huge and has great seating. Loved the food and drinks, especially the mango ginger drink, it was excellent. The dipping sauces and chilli oil were also very good. The staff member who attended us seemed a bit rude, possibly because it was off-time and he was handling all the tables alone. Apart from that, we really enjoyed the food and overall experience.

For people who can’t handle any spice. I advise you not to get any items with only 1 chili pepper as it’s still too spicy. Ordered tofu Thai fried rice which is supposed to be mildly spicy. Was only able to eat a tiny bit as it was too spicy for me. Would try other options that don’t include any spice. Restaurant is accessibility friendly. Service was warm and welcoming.

Compliments to the chefs! The Kari noodles with the chicken breast was delicious and the wontons had a nice crisp and flavor to them. First time visit and will be back! Gave 3.5 stars because the promptness of the servers could have been better. Also, felt like the bathrooms needed a bit of refreshing. Overall good and spacious location. Food came quickly, although I'd prefer my appetizers on the table before my main course.

This is my second time dining at Salad King within 10 days of my first visit which should tell you just how strong of an impression the team made. The service was impeccable, perfect balance of check-ins, water refills, and all round professionalism. Our server was Rain and truly, first class service. My friend and I shared the Sea Queen (calamari), and got our own entrees the Hot Thai Noodles and Sweet and Sour Orange Chicken stir fry. Can’t wait to come again!

Great ambience and decor throughout the restaurant. The view out of the arched windows gives a European feel. There are a few vegetarian options available as well. The host is a very pleasant gentleman who explains everything in great detail. The gnocchi is a standout dish, and ranks among the best gnocchi I've ever had.

I went to Donatello with my friend last month, and I was so surprised that Toronto has such a truly good Italian restaurant! I’ve been living here for two years and have never found an Italian place this authentic. I ordered the Pasta Fungole with scallops and shrimp. it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was also above and beyond. Highly recommended!

A quaint place with good food and attentive service. The flavours were all there. The portions were generous enough and the bread was warm. The prices reasonable. I very much appreciated their lunch hours flexibility, unlike all other places in the area. I may come back.
Eugene Astapov - 5 months ago
The soup was so, so. The tortellini was nice, and hot. I have asked for a Italian beer, first time, never had that before. The waiter poured my beer in to a glass next to me. I had almost my glass empty, the waiter was next to us, if everything was okay. “Ow I will bring you a new beer sir.”
Not for me anymore, it looks like they did not appreciate our presence. It seems like they were looking when we ware ready.
tip was also automatic (20%) for a party of two during evening meal.
Richard Detwiler - 4 months ago
I don't usually give poor ratings if the food is okay, but this place deserves a second thought before you decide to visit. Food was okay, the pasta with shrimps and scallops was actually pretty tasty which my friend and I both enjoyed. Service was okay at first, but several waiters came to our table asking if they could take the plates away while we were still working on our food, one after another, which felt like they were rushing to get us out and was truly annoying. When the waiter brought the bill and we asked if we could do a split, he told us he could not do it and NEXT TIME we should tell him in advance. That said, just like everyone else, a gratuity of 20% (total after tax) was automatically added for such poor service. Unfortunately there will not be a NEXT TIME. Shockingly disgraceful.

For those who enjoy being in an environment that blends the new with the old, like to learn details about beer production, and enjoy being in an environment where beer is actually made, visiting 3 Brasseurs is a good option.
The restaurant has a good menu of food, drinks, and beers, but without a wide variety of beers.
The place has a sensational structure to serve a large number of customers and host events, but with very little infrastructure to accommodate customers with reduced mobility and disabilities. They do not have menus in Braille, the entrance doors are spring-loaded, and the floor is smooth and undamaged; they have tables that can be used with wheelchairs and walkers, but the restrooms are located on the upper floors, requiring assistance for customers as there are many flights of stairs.
The restaurant service is okay; on quiet days and during off-peak hours, the attention and service are quite fast and organized. However, when busier times begin, be patient, as it will take longer.
They don't have their own parking, but there are several private parking lots in the area, and it's also just steps from the TEMU metro station.
Worth a visit.

This is a French chain restaurant with locations across Ontario and Quebec, so it helps to keep that in mind when setting expectations. The beer is brewed for scale and has a more mass-produced taste, but it’s still solid and was enjoyed by all.
The space itself is large and spread across multiple levels, which worked well for our party of eight. On Boxing Day, right after a theater show, we only waited about 20 minutes for a table, impressive given the crowds. The location is also very convenient, directly across from the Eaton Centre.
The food is classic pub fare. We tried the fish and chips, flammekueche, poutine, and a few handheld. I regret not adding extra cheese to the Alps Raclette, it definitely needed it. The poutine portion is on the smaller side, so a hungry teenager (or adult) will likely want more. The fish and chips was a solid go to!
Overall, it’s a convenient, lively spot for groups, especially before or after shopping or a show.

Visited 3 Brasseurs and tried the halloumi fries, peach schnapps cocktail, decadent brownie, and fruit explosion mocktail.
Overall, it was good, but not quite what I expected.
Coming from Montreal, I’ve been to 3 Brasseurs multiple times, and there the vibe is lively and the food truly amazing. Here, it felt like something was missing - especially in the fries, the mocktail, and the warmth of the service.
That said, the place still has great potential, and some items like the brownie and cocktail were enjoyable. Would be worth revisiting for the experience.

Had a great experience here!
We ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, Veggie Pasta, and for dessert, the Belgian Waffle - everything was delicious and nicely presented. The flavors were fresh, and the portion sizes were just right.
Our server, Iris, was such a sweet and attentive lady, which made the experience even better.
Definitely recommend this place for a good meal and warm service!

Such an interesting gastropub! Came by to try their sunday roast and it was quite delicious, but the sticky toffee pudding takes the cake! The prices wasn’t too bad and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back to try other menu items when in the area.

Food was great, we shared the fish and chips and Sunday roast.
Service was awful, the waitress checked like 30 sec after the food hit the table, we didn’t even take a bite yet. Never checked in after that. No one filled our waters or gave a coffee refill. Our change was supposed to be $18 and she only brought $14. If you’re wondering where the other $4 of the tip went, maybe look in the register.

I love the cozy vibes of this place. I had an event to attend at Yonge/Dundas area and wanted to watch Jays play-off after. All the bars at Yonge/Dundas were absolutely packed.Quickly walked up to Elm street and got seated comfortably.
Fish & Chips for $30 might sound expensive but batter was so light, decent fish and fries were amazing!
This is the bar & restaurant that is close to Yonge/Dundas but less touristy gem!
Ok Sun - 3 months ago
We recently stopped in for lunch and had a lovely experience overall. The fish and chips were well-prepared—the batter was crisp, and the fish was flaky and flavorful.
While the mushy peas were a bit of a letdown (served cold and lacking seasoning), the main dish more than made up for it.
Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient, which really enhanced our visit. We were seated in the front room overlooking the patio, providing a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy our meal. The restaurant boasts plenty of TVs, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts. During our visit, there was a lively group of fans gathering for the big game, adding to the vibrant ambiance.
Overall, it's a great place for a casual meal, especially if you're looking to catch a game. Just a slight improvement on the sides, and it would be a solid 5-star experience.
Robin Hillstrom - 8 months ago
We made a reservation for a Thursday, and got patio seating.
We got the summerlicious menu (Welsh rarebit on Pullmans loaf, salmon and charred baby gem, and classic sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream), PLUS we ordered the beef and onion pie.
I really enjoyed my meal here, especially the beef and onion pie and the sticky toffee pudding. The mashed potatoes from the pie were really salty but the sweet purple cabbage slaw really balanced it out.
Service was only ok, it was pretty busy so we had a hard time flagging down a server at times.

Had a nice welcome in experience , it took them a little bit to find our reservations but we were sitted pretty fast. We had the Onion soup and the soup of the day. Fillet Mignon and 24oz steak, which i cant stress enough how GOOD it was.
For desert we had the Barberian Chocolate House Mousse which i do recommend with coffee.
My honest suggestions is dont shy away from side dishes, they are great addition from tasting variety and pallette.
As far as atmosphere, the late night crowd might get a little bit noisy but not intrusive in my opinion.
My recommendation is to make sure to make a night out of it for sure.

Had a great first experience at Barberian’s. Came here as a walk in during a busy holiday season but the manager was still able to accommodate with very little wait time. The french onion soup was not that good. However, the rib steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The servers were all very attentive. Would recommend reserving ahead of time as it gets busy during dinner time.

Hands down the best New York Strip steak you'll get in Toronto. I've visited ever high end steak house in the city and nowhere cooks their steaks as true to order as Barbarians. Cooked on an open flame that adds flavour like no other. I'm not much of a French fries person but I can't get enough of the fries at Barbarians. They oysters are fresh and the escargot are delicious. If you drink wine, you'll find one of the most extensive wine lists to choose from. The atmosphere is very old school as it is an old cottage converted to the restaurant. If you haven't been and you love great steak, this place is a must!
Stephen Nehpets - 4 weeks ago
Very popular and long-standing steak house in the city. We had a group of 3 with a reservation, and we got seated right away.
Food is inline with all the traditional steakhouse offerings, and everything was very high quality: jumbo cocktail shirmp was indeed jumbo, and the cook on our steak was perfect.
Great and attentive service in a cozy environment!
There's no dedicated parking, but the location is right beside the Eaton center, so you can find paid parking lots all around the restaurant within walking distance.

The deluxe burger was so good. The signature chicken was really nice, just a bit too salty for me. But i'm going back to grab the deluxe burger.
Unfortunately homeless people can just walk in and serve themselves free drinks and also beg for money. Not very hygienic.
The staff was super sweet.
Other than these 2 things i had a great experience

063025 - came to have lunch at Bangkok Garden
my opinion if I may share ~ the buffet selection weren't that delightful nor flavourful like so... the portions on the buffet display were limited and skimpy... could it considering it was a Monday?
quality was not at its best... chicken wings were extra small more like thumb size... not the fresh fried cooked wings - the meat was dry. One can tell it was more like being reheated from last night's batch... doesn't look appealing at all... I went for 2nds simply to check it out... this time, the wings looked fresh and juicy... disappointed being my 1st visit...
only picked a scoop of the meals - bean sprout w/ tofu, warm soup, coconut curry chicken, fish and even salad which I hardly do given it's buffet with other choices... but not this time. didn't go for pad thai or fried rice 😕 😞 even the desserts were not as enjoyable except for the fresh watermelon and pineapple cut in small slices. everything on the buffet were tiny portions - skimping on all menu quite sad perhaps restaurant has some challenges and struggling.
What was refreshing ~ the ice cold water they served. And I ordered the mango slushy.
The good review I can say at this point. The restaurant was surprisingly impeccable however the number of stairs / steps can be a big challenge.
To note: two food inspectors were on-site with hand held temperature device coming in and out between kitchen and the buffet display. Made me wonder 🤔

I recently visited Chipotle at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, and while the experience had a few positives, overall it felt more stressful than enjoyable. The service was undeniably fast, and orders were prepared quickly, which is helpful in such a busy downtown location. However, speed seemed to be prioritized over customer experience.
Ordering felt rushed from the moment I stepped up to the counter. The servers appeared to assume that every customer already has complete knowledge of all ingredients and options. There was very little time given to think or decide, and the pace made it easy to miss toppings while trying to keep up. When I later asked to add an extra topping to my bowl, the response felt uncomfortable — including visible eye-rolling — as if the customer had made a mistake. That kind of reaction is unfair and takes away from what should be a welcoming experience.
This visit, I tried the limited-edition Carne Asada, which is described as being expertly grilled throughout the day and seasoned with garlic, cumin, and coriander, then finished with fresh lime and cilantro. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that full blend of flavors. The meat was decent, but the seasoning felt muted, and the dish didn’t live up to its description or expectations.
While the food quality itself was acceptable and service was fast, the rushed atmosphere made the entire experience unpleasant. Slowing down slightly, allowing customers time to decide, and maintaining a respectful attitude would greatly improve this location.
Overall, it was an average visit, but not one I found enjoyable.

Really good food. One can really customize exactly what they would like to add to it.
Service was fast. Overall good experience.
A bit stressful to order, could slow down a bit to give a better experience.

Chipotle has good options for a keto diet. You can build your own bowl with salad, protein, and toppings. Their avocado sauce (Guacamole) is really nice for keto. The food was tasty, but if the seating area had a bit better atmosphere, it would be even better.

First visit here whilst we were in the area, as my daughter seen on TikTok and wanted to try! (we live in the UK) Food plentiful and seemed ok standard for (very) fast food. We had two burrito bowls and one burrito. We went at lunch time so of course very busy. We managed to sit down too. Daughter was happy and we all left full (with leftovers to take home). Overall positive experience for us.
