2 Star Rating The client is not right here. They have a broken cash register and don't apologize that it won't spit out the right amount of change back regardless whether it's .5 cents short, it's not ethical to not return the exact change back. They do not have roast beef and don't offer pop fountain drinks (it's bottled instead). The management is careless and need more guidance and strength from a motivated manager. If this is Chartwells operated, contact me privately (my email) and I have more advice to offer.

4 Star Rating Roti Cuisine Of India in Toronto, is a pretty decent Indian restaurant. A small and neat restaurant, and very affordable, considering its location. Looks like they are known for roti and curry more than anything, because I spoke to a European couple that specifically spoke about the roti/curry combination and they often come here. Vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetatrian dishes, appetizers, biriyani, and beer are available. I was here for lunch, had a couple beers with Onion Pakoda. Also ordered Aloo Gobi roti and mutter paneer rice. The food was very fresh, tasty but felt the quantity was more for me and too much curry in both the dishes. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

5 Star Rating This is by far the best Indian roti place in Toronto. Located close to Dupont Station (308 Dupont). Its a place you must check out at least once in your life. The butter chicken roti is by far the best. There is tons of other options on the menu. Service is very good. I order ahead on the way from work and the food is ready within 20 minutes.

2 Star Rating This was once a gem but it's been on a gradual decline for years. Now it's nothing like it's former self. This used to be one of my favourite spots in the city. Now, I've decided to stop going all together. The dine in experience is essentially non-existent. You order at a Counter, they serve your food in to go containers and won't give you a glass of water. They make you buy bottled water. Not only are these policies poor for the environment they make for a terrible experience. The food is fine at best, portions and quality are not what they used to be. In a city full of good Indian food, I would pass on this place.

3 Star Rating This has always been my favourite roti in the city, tastes great and being able to pick the spice level is important to me. However if you’ve been coming here for years you’ll no doubt notice the portion size has been cut in half. Even the cheap filler like potatoes are barely there For almost $20 per roti it really doesn’t feel worth it anymore.

3 Star Rating I visited right after opening for lunch with a friend. We were greeted and seated right away. We browsed at the typical pub fare and I decided to go with a classic burger with fries. My friend decided to go with a poke bowl. I enjoyed my meal however it was nothing special in terms of the flavour and it’s offering. The poke bowl was not enjoyed by my friend and felt that he didn’t feel great after consuming it.

5 Star Rating The food was delicious, and the atmosphere and the service were excellent. It was our first time coming to this bar; I could feel the heart of the bar as soon as I stepped in. The decoration and atmosphere were excellent, and the space was vast. We ordered tacos and Cobb salad, and they were all very delicious! My boyfriend loves their fish tacos, and the salad was great! The alcohol is reasonably priced, especially their daily beer special: 14 oz is only for $4.50, which is a great deal! The server was so friendly and helpful, and he gave us some very nice recommendations for the food. Overall, the food, atmosphere and service were brilliant. We will be back again for sure!

3 Star Rating This branch is declining significantly and showing its age and lack of attention. I'm a Tim Hortons fan but this place is languishing, likely because this block of buildings is about to be redeveloped. 2 cappuccinos took a long time to prepare and were tepid. The chairs and tables looked worn out, damaged and not clean feeling. The place looked sad.

5 Star Rating I had walked by this business a couple of times and was always intrigued. I finally got the opportunity to eat here and it definitely won’t be my last visit. Let me tell you why Martino’s is worth the stop! Food: I was originally interested in the Asian Fusion pizzas. As you can see from the other reviews, they are a fan favorite! You can tell from the photos that they are very flavorful and unique. I decided to just get a slice of the Naples Margherita and I am so happy I did. The sauce was rich and savory. The way they heated up the slice was also perfect! I also love the variety of dishes they have: from traditional Asian eats to fusion pizzas to Italian pastas, there is something for everyone here! Staff: The workers here are so nice and I had a very pleasant experience with them! The person at the front was kind while answering my questions and attending to other customers. Space: There is limited seating here so keep that in mind! I came at around 7:20 and there was a good amount of seats available (3/5). This is something to keep in mind if you want to bring a big group. I also noticed that customers like to order takeout from here! The menus are easy to read and I appreciate that they had photos of their dishes up. They also have very cute figurines in front of the cash register and I thought that was a charming touch! Pricing: The cost of their food is very reasonable! I got my pizza slice for $5.10 plus tax (it was basically two slices). I found it super filling; consider the taste and quality, it is great value! Martino’s is an eatery with tons of character! I have friends who have expressed much love for this business and I believe that appreciation is deserved. If you want to try something new or indulge in a classic, Martino’s is a wonderful spot to go to!

3 Star Rating This was a very interesting place (Asian and Italian fusion?). I tried both the regular Margherita pizza as well the famous General tao's pizza. The Margherita was, to put it simply, superb. The tomato, the cheese, the pesto; all the various small flavors easily makes it far superior to some pizzas I've had at some italian restuarants ( and I've eaten at many). I did not expect a fusion restuarant to produce such an excellent and sublime Margherita pizza that surpasses some new york style pizzerias but color me impressed. Unfortunately, I cannot regard the general tao's in the same breath. I ordered it because every review here seems to hold it highly and it seems to be the unofficial flagship item of the resturant. To be frank, I found the item too sweet with the sauce being too thin in consistency. The sweetness was overpowering any possible flavor profile present in the pizza and I couldn't detect any spice or umami; which was a shame, because when I seperated the chicken and sauce from the pizza, the base pizza with the peppers was delicious and cooked wonderfully. Overall, I think this restaurant is excellent, it is just that in my opinion the general tao pizza is a bit overrated and that there are far better pizzas on the menu for you to choose (unless you prefer pizzas that are very sweet, which in that case, go for it ). Edit: I think the General taos is starting to upset my stomach. Yea, I don't recommend it Edit 2: yea I found it difficult to sleep. My stomach was burning and hurting like crazy Edit 3: Unfortunately, after subsequent visits proved to be rather dissapointing. The taste do not measure up to when when I first tried. It's not bad by any means, but it's rather inconsistent which isn't something you want in a pizzeria

4 Star Rating Had to try the General Tao pizza. Chicken was very tasty. We were worried that it would fall off the pizza but it stayed intact with every bite. Overall pizza was good just felt like something was missing from the pizza dough to make it a go to pizza spot. Definitely would go back to try some of the Asian dishes on their menu. Prices are pretty fair and competitive.

5 Star Rating My husband and I have visited 4 times so far and each time has been pretty good and consistent. I am obsessed with the party fries, everything I love in one dish! We’ve tried all of their sandwiches/burgers over the course of our visits and they’re all pretty good. I think my favorite would be the brisket sliders. My husband really enjoys their signature backyard burger. Service is good, it’s a small place so your needs are always met and someone is always around to assist you. The first time I used their bathrooms was the last time I used their bathroom. I hope they have better bathroom cleaning standards since then, but I cannot comment as I’ve never used it since. Parking is tricky depending on the time you go, however it is right across the steer from the DuPont ttc station so it’s very easily accessible via transit. If you’re looking for a delicious halal smokehouse this is definitely the place to go!

5 Star Rating This is a great option for halal BBQ and smoked meat. The fries you see in the pictures were good - but I would prefer more sauce on them. The platter for two people was really good as well. Brisket was cooked well, and the potatoes, garlic bread and coleslaw were really good. The corn was okay - filled with butter but no flavour. The sausages were a no to me. Rubbery, dry, and lacking flavour. Finally the brisket sliders were the highlight. I would come back here just for the brisket sliders. They were out of this world!

3 Star Rating The place had so much potential, unfortunately it was a let down. Not that many restaurants offer halal BBQ options, but they did so went there with high hopes. But didn't even come close to the expectations. Went there on. Tuesday evening, and at 6pm they didn't have anymore brisket, not sure how considering the restaurant opens at 4pm. The portion size was not great, patties in the slider was much smaller than the bun, and the hand-cut fries are simply frozen fries. Service wasn't great either, gave us a table where we could not get in or out without interrupting the next table even though I reserved ahead and plenty of tables were available. Would not recommend.

All overpriced and overhyped for bland, greasy stuff. The tacos here were amazing, the tortillas are hand made, the meat is perfect and not excess with fat (as with some other taco places), really good flavour and hot sauces. Sooo good! 5 Star Rating Where do I begin? I'll try to do this without swearing. It is just so dang unbelievable how good this place is. Okay........ To begin with, I chose this place because they some how have a 4.9 rating. But after having visited, I think they deserve five. They must have lost a .1 because a customer was having a bad day. Anyway, not to sound biased, but it's simple food done properly with great service. I'm eating my sixth as I type this, AND it's cold. I'm gonna stop here you get the point. The area kinda lacks decent quick lunch options and I went for it. I went for the straight forward classic pastor tacos and they were nothing short of amazing. Home made tortillas, well seasoned well prepared and of course I coupled it with a Mexican coke. Nice lil place, reasonably priced for premium real mexican tacos. Will return
