Really delicious Roti. I’ve had the butter chicken roti and the lamb korma roti. I can recommend either one if you want delicious Indian flavors. Best if you pre order because it can take 25 minutes or so to prepare the order. I think 3 rotis were around $55 for take out.

We visited Roti Cuisine of India during our trip to Canada 🇨🇦 after seeing it recommended online. We ordered the Butter Chicken Roti and discovered a dish that felt uniquely Canadian something we hadn’t seen before! The roti was used as a wrap, filled with rich, flavourful curry wrapped in soft, warm bread. It had a nice balance of spice and heat, and I really enjoyed it. I’d definitely have it again! However, there were a few issues with the dine-in experience. Although the restaurant advertises itself as an eat-in place and has tables and chairs inside, it’s clear that it mainly operates as a takeaway spot. There were a couple of inconveniences: They wouldn’t accept our international cards or credit cards, so we had to leave and withdraw cash from an ATM. When we asked for water, we were told they don’t provide tap water because they're a takeout business - which contradicts their dine-in setup and advertising.

This place was incredible, everything I wanted in a roti. The butter chicken roti sauce was perfection. Huge chunks of tender chicken and just enough potato. My partner had the lamb curry roti and it was also sooooo delicious. And the pakoras HIT THE SPOT. Will definitely be eating here again!!

My favourite place in the city! We eat here alllll the time everything is always so delicious and perfect. Omg I can’t even think about it without wanting it immediately. Favs: chicken curry roti, shrimp biryani, tofu biryani, papri chat, samosas. I hardly have pictures from here despite eating there probably like 30 times bc I just devour it ! We get spicy and it’s spicy!

I really enjoyed my meal here. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and everything looked fresh and inviting. The drink section was fully stocked with plenty of options, and the food prep area was neat and hygienic. The sandwich was made fresh right in front of me, with a good variety of vegetables, sauces, and fillings to choose from. Ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, jalapeños, and sauces all looked fresh and well maintained. The staff handled the food carefully and prepared the sandwich nicely.

​I wanted to leave a huge thank you for the exceptional service provided by Carmela and Navjot during my recent visit. ​They were both incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to give a truly excellent, detailed explanation of the menu, which made ordering so much easier and more exciting. I was especially thankful for them suggesting all the best-seller/tasty sub's and specific customizes with sauce combo's—it really helped me decide.

I had a great experience at Subway. The service was excellent by Miggo. Miggo was friendly, attentive, and worked efficiently even during busy hours. My order was prepared quickly and exactly the way I wanted it. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The employees are really careless with the mobile orders, every time I buy something from this location they just threw it in the bag without proper wrapping and when I get home it’s usually cold or opened up, I’ve mentioned this in store couple times but since nothing has changed, I felt the need to leave a comment here. Please train your employees to how to pack food for to go!

Quick friendly service, I ordered ahead by phone. I went for the general Tao chicken pizza but enjoyed every dish we got! General Tao pizza is a showstopper of a pizza with restaurant quality chicken that was crispy and flavourful. Chicken curry pizza was slightly curry-y and spicy, overall light flavours. Also ordered tofu and beef eggplant dishes which came with free rice and were delicious! Will definitely be returning, we loved it!

Owners have been in business for 24 years and our family finally tried the famous general tao chicken. Its a full order of chicken nestled on top of a pizza and it did not disappoint. Very flavourful. We also ordered the curry chicken pizza and two asian dishes, eggplant with beef and basil tofu. Generous portions, authentic flavour and even included rice. Other places would have rice as an order item. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

I love the pizza slices at Martino’s and have been a long time customer for years. They usually have several varieties of pizza slices ready made daily. Their prices are very reasonable given the large size of the two pizza slices that come with each order. The owners are very friendly, and the service is great.

my boyfriend and i were so excited to try the place because we had heard great things about it- however unfortunately we were quite disappointed. we ordered the general tao's pizza. the pizza tasted stale, however the chicken on top was good! it was served piping hot as well, which was nice. the woman who served us at the front counter was the sweetest and very pleasant. there is very limited seating, which we did not know as well. it seems to be more of a take-out place- there was only one table with two chairs, and 3 barstools. i wish we had known that before coming!

This was a random find but genuinely such a good experience. I went with a friend and we both asked for one slice of pizza and we received a quarter of a pizza. Both the people at the counter were absolutely lovely and the pizza was hot and so tasty. The crust was delicious and cooked fully, there was a good sauce, cheese and topping ratio and the bottom of the pizzas were cooked incredibly evenly. The shop is smaller but for the price and the amount of food you get its very much worth it. Im absolutely coming here again the next time I am in Toronto!

Me and 6 of my friends came here for my birthday and we ordered the whole nine yards meal. The food was amazing and everything felt high quality. All the meats were perfectly made. The place was set up for our group and wasnt too small for us. We all had an amazing time there. Server was nice and was very efficient in a good way.

Stopped by this place after seeing they had halal brisket, but ended up ordering the smoked chicken poutine instead. The food was good. I didn’t notice the saltiness at first, but it started to taste a bit too salty halfway through; not sure if it’s supposed to be like that or if this place just makes it that way. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, and the waitress was a really nice lady. Not suitable for large groups as the place itself is tiny, see the video.

*** Strongly Recommended. *** . Very good place to taste a true bbq meat. Smoked beef brisket and pulled beef was stunning. Also the beef back rib. And short rib. Brisket was more fatty and brisket more dry. But both were juicy. Appetizer price is high compared to type of food. But main course is awsome. Also not having soup options is a weakness. Not giving you Side options. And you csnt expect food presentation on your plate. But But do not miss this place. .

I live close by but never had the chance to check out this place. Visited on a random day after work, ordered a standard signature burger with sweet potato fries, and OMG it was way above my expectation! Crispy fries, juicy and huge beef patty with some caramelized onions, perfect for a quick EOD escape meal (though my gym coach would hate it afterwards). Also great service, was welcomed and served with smile. Definitely will come back soon!

Service was amazing. Maria is a sweetheart and super friendly and attentive. The food was on point! We got brisket, smoked chicken, Mac n cheese, mushroom confit, sweet potato fries, and it came with sliders, garlic bread, toast, and cornbread. That cornbread!!! Ooooff! I’m so glad we came in. It’s a very cute spot in a very cute neighborhood.

A beautiful little Mexican restaurant, it is nestled in the busy streets near St.Clair Ave. Gets extra busy as it has only 5-7 tables inside and around 4-5 tables outside on the patio. The vibe is inviting, takes you to Mexico and the food is just perfect to remind you of Mexico. The service lags a tad bit and could complement the food better but the staff is really friendly. Their drinks are delish and flavourful. One of the few good Mexican spots in Toronto and would strongly recommend them. Parking is on street but if you want to skip the car there are tonnes of options to reach here via TTC.

Walked in at about 5 or so on a Thursday and was the sole visitor. Sat for a glass of decent wine at a table while my three tacos that I ordered were being made: veggie fajita, chicken and shrimp on homemade corn tortillas. Very pleasant staff treated me and were happy to accommodate. Nice interior and patio. Tacos were really good even after I walked them home in my backpack. Would definitely go back.

Casa Mezcal is such a gem! Their happy hour is one of the best in the city with $6 tacos that are packed with flavor and super fresh. The vibe is fun and welcoming and it’s a great spot to grab drinks and food with friends. Definitely recommend checking it out especially during happy hour! 🌮🍹

My friend and I stumbled upon this place while on a hungry girl walk hunting for places to eat. The ambient lighting alone was enough to peek our curiosity so we decided we MUST CHECK IT OUT. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted with warm service. Our server was edddy — big shout out to him and thanks for the extra chips. Eddy was so kind and really vibed with us. We ordered the classic biria tacos which were soo delicious. I recommend stopping by during happy hours cuz they have some good deals. Definitely coming back here again!!

Went here because Plant Curious had a deal. It’s a cute place! I had a red smoothie and it was delicious!!! I had the mushroom melt sandwich, which was yummy (though I don’t love gluten free bread). Staff are super lovely, seem to be a Japanese family? They prepare matcha properly with the little wooden whisk and do matcha tastings and tea ceremonies. The little mom is in the back making onigiri and other lovely treats, so cute. Also got a mochi for take away that was delicious. Recommend!!

Ordered an Americano & the organic oat gluten free cookie and it was great! Super soft and tasty. I love that they have a bunch of healthy options and the fact that they even displayed the amount of protein each cookie have? 10000/10! Wish more places could do that!!! They have a cute little patio that it was so lovely to hanged at. The whole vibe of the place was super nice, love the deco! I’ll definitely come back, my only complain is that the prices, mostly for the food/sandwiches are overpriced, even if they’re made with top ingredients.

We recently held our first ever Block Party and Yard Sale, complete with a DJ and freshly popped popcorn, with proceeds going to the local Food Bank. @gtapong_club also held a fun ping pong tournament. Gleam & Sip was the delicious reward at the end of a busy day! 😋 Their location at the corner of Madison and Dupont is so convenient and their deck is so cute! Their service was with a smile, as always, even with a line-up on this particularly busy day. And all the drinks whether hot or cold, were delicious!❤️ Matcha is one of their many specialties. And so many vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free treats to choose from! Their gluten-free chocolate brownie is TO. DIE. FOR. 🔥 The owners have put in a lot of effort to create a welcoming, community feel in this little corner of the Annex, as well as Dupont by the Castle BIA.

I tried Pepper Tacos thanks to a Secret Santa order, and I’m so glad I did, what a lovely surprise! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a mix of vegetarian tacos and quesadillas, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and really well put together. As a vegetarian, I truly appreciated the variety and how thoughtfully the veggie options were prepared they didn’t feel like an afterthought at all. The flavors were well-balanced, satisfying, and authentically Mexican without being overwhelming. Portion sizes were decent, the food arrived in excellent condition, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the cooking and presentation. Overall, such a great experience this is definitely a place I’d reorder from and recommend, especially if you’re vegetarian and craving good Mexican food.

We had a wonderful experience at this Mexican street food restaurant. The team was amazing—friendly, attentive, and great at explaining the dishes. The horchata and tamarind drinks were refreshing and delicious. The tacos were packed with flavor, especially the lamb served with a rich, savory consomé. I love supporting small local businesses like Chilly Pepper. The food is incredible, the fish tacos have a perfect mix of flavors, and the carnitas are always juicy and delicious. Their tortas are super filling, and the winter special chilaquiles are absolutely top-notch, the chips in the warm salsa are great, always served with beautiful garnishes. The space is homey and intimate, perfect for a quick stop. Plus, the staff are super friendly and genuinely look like they enjoy what they do. Definitely give this place a try!

If you’re looking to experience unconventional, and creatively twisted Palestinian cuisine, then Louf Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The menu is bold and imaginative, so come with an open mind and a little culinary courage when exploring the different dishes. Although it is slightly pricier compared to other Mediterranean restaurants, the originality, presentation, and overall experience make it well worth it. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Excellent service and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. This was the most disappointing dining experience I’ve had in years. I chose this restaurant because my dining companion had visited many years ago and loved it. It quickly became apparent that the food has changed entirely. We ordered multiple dishes, and not a single one was good (and very small portions). It felt as though the menu was so focused on being creative and innovative that the fundamentals of each dish were completely lost. After such a disappointing meal, I hoped dessert might redeem the experience and ordered the kunafa. Regrettably, it was also a miss. It bore no resemblance to a traditional kunafa and was closer to a funnel cake (see attached photos). We left disappointed and regret choosing this restaurant.

My Palestinian friend said “this is a restaurant for people who want to say they’ve tried Palestinian food”. I’m often disappointed by these restaurants who try to have a modern take or do country “inspired” dishes. This time was no different. I think the most appalling dish was the jibne nabulsiye because it was 24$ for a piece of cheese half the size of a credit card. The taste didn’t justify the price as it was overseasoned with salt. The maftoul qare’ w hummus needed way more squash. The chickpeas were undercooked. Kunafeh was beautifully presented and larger portion than any of the mains we had.. However, the base of crispy fried dough was still very oily. Other dishes were not memorable. Service started lacking after bringing the mains. We had to signal servers a few times to pay. I do appreciate that gratuity was included in the dish prices so I don’t need to think, but I wouldn’t return — mainly because of the mediocore food.

Was super excited to visit Louf and it didn't disappoint! The exterior was super charming ... and the interior of the restaurant (to me, anyway) had an airy cottage elegance; felt warm and cozy, yet contemporary. The dishes were spot on! Baked eggs w fresh sesame bread was unexpected but delicious and cooked to perfection. The crepe-plate was phenomenal!! The cheese filling was light and fluffy (like a whip cream) topped w a coffee/honey syrup and pistachios. Really wnjoyed the sage tea. Yum. Looking forward to returning. The best steak we’ve ever eaten. A gorgeous, intimate place to dine. Perfect for date night, family or a cultural dining experience. Palestine is so beautiful, Louf does an outstanding job giving you an authentic taste. They don’t accept tips, in lieu we made a donation - hope you do too. 🇵🇸 Zoey was also a lovely server - very kind and knowledgeable.
