I'm just coming off a cold. So I'm a bit out of it. I messed up my online order and thought I ordered 2 farmers wraps. I didn't, and the employee preparing my food mentioned it to me. I'm glad he pointed this out because I wanted 2 farmer's wraps. He upgraded the grilled breakfast wrap to a farmers' wrap. Thank you for the great service and helping me when I don't feel great. 😁🙏

had a fantastic experience at the Tim Hortons located at 1728 Bloor Street. The staff here are exceptional—always friendly, efficient, and professional. Even during busy hours, they handle orders quickly without compromising on quality.
The store is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the team takes pride in their work. Whether it’s a morning coffee run or a quick bite in the afternoon, they make sure every visit is smooth and enjoyable.
Highly recommend this location for great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Keep up the excellent work!

The atmosphere was good enough to sit and finish your meal. There were times where security had to ask someone to leave nicely. There were times where people would sit in the same table as you so be mindful of that. The place is small. Otherwise great place to get your Tim Horton’s with hardworking employees.

Came in for a half dozen donuts and the guy in line ahead of us got the last chocolate glazed. The staff must have seen us looking disappointed because they offered to make us some fresh. It was a really nice experience and great service. Totally recommend.

Love their Canadian draught options! Also, any food I've tried has been amazing, particularly the Mugshot wings and their poutine.

This review is so overdue. I’ve eaten here a handful plus of times, always get the roast beef dip which is honestly so delicious. Service is always amazing and every friend I have brought has been super happy too! Shout out to the amazing man who promptly hand delivered my roast beef dip au jus when it accidently missed being packaged on New Years. That was honestly such an awesome surprise of service and I sooo appreciated it. Thanks for Yums

Five stars for the service! Pedro was very friendly, attentive and took good care of us during our visit. The location is across the street from High Park and from the station. The food was just okay - the spicy crispy chicken wasn't really crispy, while the rainbow trout was a bit too salty.
A good place to stop in for a drink after a visit to High Park.

I discovered this place a few years ago, when I just moved to the neighborhood. It's a very casual place, but usually that's what I need anyway. Recently I started coming here on Sundays with a large group of friends. And the service is very good! Our server is always able to accommodate separate bills, which by the way is a lot to ask. Everyone is very friendly and the service is fast. Would definitely recommend!

Busy for a Friday! We only had to wait ~10mins for a table but were happy to do so with a beer in hand. Excellent food and we had leftovers to bring home too. Will definitely be back.
Update - have been back multiple times since the original review and have never had a bad meal! Definitely a neighbourhood favourite.

Good pizza by a Canadian chain. Great prices. Service is pretty slow. We ordered ahead, but still had to wait 15 minutes on arrival.

Have been ordering from this location for years but ever since new ownership took over last year this location and its standards have been in a spiral downward. With what looks to be little oversight from Pizzaville parent corporation, this location continues to cut corners on size, toppings and overall experience as a whole.
Panzerottos gets consistently smaller, pepperoni pizza comes with 7 total pepperoni and side items (ie. Totamoe dauce) and o lyrics given to you at an extra charge even though specific menu items state it comes with (panzerottos).
I won't be ordering for pizzaville anywhere as I have seen that they don't care about the customer and this location is a perfect example of bad franchisees.
I would much rather spend my money elsewhere

By far my favorite sushi place. Always consistent. No matter what day or time I go there. I can't say enough good things about this place. Been eating here for a couple of years. Polite and kind service always. Highly recommended.

Even though it doesn’t look super luxury, just casual restaurant, the food here was really good 👍 We have finished everything we got from the menu. Sushi was fresh and yummy, miso sour rich of flavour and all fried items were fresh and without bad oily aftertaste. Service also without any issues - fast and correct 😇 Definitely recommend visiting if you are hungry somewhere around this place

I lost the count on how many times I’ve been to this amazingly fresh and delicious sushi restaurant! From taking home dishes to all-you-can-eat, every time I’m craving for sushi this is my favorite go-to destination!
What truly sets Sushi Place apart is their kind and courteous staff. The attentive servers always ensure my every need from iced water to extra ginger, and their exceptional service always makes me feel like a valued guest during my entire visit. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness’s to offer suggestions and recommendations also elevates the dining experience to new heights.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Sushi Place boasts an impressive array of sushi rolls that cater to a variety of tastes, and I must say, their Spicy Salmon roll and Dynamite roll are absolute standouts - my favs and can’t miss dishes! The Spicy Salmon roll is a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of fresh, tender salmon and a pleasantly fiery kick. It is well crafted and leaves me craving for more. As for the Dynamite roll, it is a true explosion of flavors in my mouth. The combination of crispy tempura, creamy avocado, and succulent shrimp tops with a tangy sauce created an irresistible blend that has me savoring every bite. Also, the freshness and quality of the ingredients are evident in every bite, and it is clear that Sushi Place takes great pride in delivering a great culinary experience!

Went here expecting a budget meal but was surprised to find it rather expensive and poor quality sushi. All-you-can-eat sushi dinner costs over $35 per person so it’s not exactly cheap.
However, although the menu has nice variety of options, the sushi was disappointing. A lot of the sushi fish was cut too thick and it tasted bland and not fresh. The fried items were better. But we went here for the sushi and it fell very short of expectations.

The best sushi in Bloor West Village! We've been ordering and getting sushi here for the last few years and it's always incredible! Everything is super fresh and tastes amazing! The staff are great and very quick. They're also very accommodating if you have allergies or things you can't have. The best all you can eat in the west end! We've loved everything we've ordered from here and can't wait to go back!

I discovered this bar when I was looking for a place to play darts. It’s a homey type of bar that is filled with friendly kind humans. We had the burger and the Irish stew, our bellies were happy. They also have a shelf of different hot sauces - I liked the organic Guyanese hot sauce. Darts? They have 2 boards in the back. Nigel is lovely to be around.

This is a solid neighbourhood pub! I wouldn't have thought to check it out, but the google reviews convinced me otherwise. Glad I did. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There are two levels, so there is plenty of space. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. My glass was never empty before I was offered another. The food was very good as well. I got the suicide wings and they were how I like them. A slow build up of burn that stays with you long after the food is gone. If you come early (before 6 or 7pm I think) all the beers are a buck off. They also had some other cheap drinks that day as well. So, you won't break the bank having a few here. I'll definitely be back.

Decent neighborhood spot, but better options are very close by. All prices are pretty reasonable given the location. Food is pretty standard bar food, nothing has been particularly tasty over the past few times I've been. Service is friendly and fast. Would recommend if you are looking for a simple neighborhood pub.

Excellent little bar to go to for some casual fun out either after work or catch up with friends on a weekend. Didn't grab the bartenders name but she was courteous, friendly, and entertaining with everyone I saw her interact with. Drinks were well priced, the vibe was comfortable, and I can't wait to bring more of my friends here.

This was the perfect place to spend a cozy Friday evening with a friend! The outdoor patio is the place to be (given some good weather). I was happy with the gnocchi I ordered. Our server was super friendly too.

I came here with a friend for a drink one evening. I wasn't feeling hungry, but thought a shared snack with my friend would be nice. I was told by staff that they had the "best fries in the area". I can't usually eat fried foods due to allergies, but the staff assured me that their fries were celiac-friendly and had their own, dedicated fryer!! That alone made them the best fries in the area, and yes, they were great!

I’m not even a brunch person and they have me hooked. I’ve tried most of their brunch items and I have no idea which is my favourite because they’ve all been truly incredible. Though I highly recommend getting any savoury dish to start, then splitting the french toast (it’s to die for). I think that’s the move.

I come here for trivia regularly and can say that the service has never been bad. Sometimes some of the non-alcoholic drink options are out of stock but they have good variety. I appreciate that they have some food options for vegetarians.

I’ve been taking friends and family here for a while now! Just went with my dad today and the service and food were fantastic. They really know how to make my coffee perfectly! I got the pancake 1 with scramble eggs and bacon, the scramble egg was made just the way I like it! My dad got the egg Benedict’s and it was great. Heavily recommend this spot for affordable breakfast in the neighbourhood.

It was an amazing experience! I think it is an excellent deal, you get what you've paid for. A big portion of food for a reasonable price, attentive and very detail-oriented service, the cleanliness of the place was perfect.
Highly recommended to go with your Mom, Dad, partner, or family.
Cheers!

I recently visited Lunchbox for breakfast, and I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. After working out I was really craving somegood breakfast, I decided to try this place for the first time, and it left me feeling completely scammed.
I ordered a beef sandwich and a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and home-style potatoes. The beef sandwich was a disaster—completely cold, unseasoned, and tasted like packaged meat thrown on bread with zero effort. The bread itself was tiny and lacked any sauce or flavor. For a $30 total bill, I expected something much better, at the very least fresh and cooked properly.
The breakfast plate wasn’t any better. The scrambled eggs were bland, with no salt or pepper, and the bacon tasted burnt and stale, as though it had been sitting out all morning. The potatoes were equally disappointing—dry, bland, and slightly burnt, with no seasoning at all. Even the buttered bread felt neglected, with barely any butter on it.
Overall, every item lacked flavor and care, leaving me feeling ripped off. For the price, the quality and portions were unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal.

This place is located on the intersection of Keele Street and High Park and walking distance from TTC subways Line 2 (Keele Station) and High Park. They’re also open late at night which makes them the perfect spot for late night cravings.
They offer great variety of chicken fingers, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches with 16 different sauces from mild to very spicy. You also have many great choices for sides, from cajun potato wedges to Mac & Cheese.
We ordered “WingsUp Classic sandwich with Louis Sauce”, “Regular Chicken Fingers with Texas Tequila Sauce”, and “Regular wing meal with Honey Hot Sauce”. Our food was fresh and tasty.
They also have patio seating for warmer seasons and the staff are very friendly.

We got 2 orders of 1/2 pound chicken wings and they only came with 4 wings each, which was way too little for $30… The flavour of the chicken wings were good but the price isn’t worth it. Also just a note: the Korean flavour had sesame seeds which didn’t really work with the sauce.

We went here to have dinner after our day at the park. We ate at their tables outside and the ambience was so nice. The wings are delicious!!! I also love the potato wedges. And the staff are super nice. I highly recommend this place.

I loved the wings. As crispy as I liked.
The amount was as expected.
Good variety of sauce.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars eas the garlic bread. It was completely different than the picture inthe menue and the bread was pretty thick. Someone else might like it but not what I was expecting.
The staff were super friendly and patience with us as well.

Pass by this place on the subway on my commute to and from school and finally got the chance to try it. Great service and ambiance, they don't make you write down your order on paper like other places. I got a rice plate instead and the chicken and pork chop was so juicy and flavourful. Just wish they had beef tendon in their soups. Will definitely be coming back

Pho is easily my favourite food. Every time I go to a new city, I find the pho restaurants. I’ve had fancy pho, cheap pho, pho on the side of the road in Ho Chi Minh City… and without a doubt, this place is the best. The broth is incredible. It’s very consistent. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I came here and ate the grilled pork chops with steam rice. Wowww the porkchop was delicious, juicy and well marinated. My friend also ordered the Pho, the broth was also one of the best he's had. The service was also very friendly 😀 We're excited to come back and try more!

Decent Vietnamese place. No XL phos available, which is what I usually get to share, so the small was a bit too big for me. The special had good flavor though. The spring rolls were a miss for me - it was way too crispy and super hard to pick up with your chopsticks. Service was good - they didn't have two of what we wanted for apps on the menu so gave us an extra spring roll to compensate, which was nice.

Walking in we are greeted and received ice cold tea which was more refreshing than regular water. The cashier/waiter was super nice! They helped me out as I accidentally spilled some soup. The wonton soup I got was so delicious & my friend enjoyed their meal as-well. If I'm back around the area, I'd definitely go take another visit!
