Food was good, coffee was okk, service was good, everything was just as good except for homeless. It's 24/7 but still lots of homeless and very less place to sit. So if you got something either go out and eat in your car or stand out and eat that's the only solution. But except that service was super quick, friendly staff and good food. Would recommend to visit in usual day hours and go safe at mid nights.

Not bad Tim Hortons. Ordered a sandwich around 3:25pm. They guy who made it carefully prepared my sandwich. He carefully put the meat, perfectly lined up bacon and cheese, and was wearing gloves too. Unlike other tim horton branch where they prepare your sandwich by just throwing meat and others to the bread and when you eat it, it starts to fall off. This branch’s team had a good teamwork too unlike other branches. I saw that each of them had a role and they are efficient in doing it.

I just bought take out a chili as you see in the picture the bowl is already small I mean the container look the bottom false and on top

I had an amazing experience at this Tim Hortons (Bloor & Parkside) last week. I grabbed an XL coffee, but as I was walking through the parking lot, it slipped right out of my hand! I went back inside to buy a replacement and explained what happened. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind—he insisted on giving me the second coffee for free. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine customer service these days. Thank you for making my morning!

What a hidden gem. The outside may fool you into thinking this is not the place to be.. but it is.
We stopped in here to grab some pub good and we're not disappointed. The staff we very friendly, helpful, and fast!!
Inside there is a very cozy diner meets classic pub vibe. With vibrant red booths and a nice big bar with lots of bar seating.
We enjoyed the big mug burger ( a yummy play on the Big Mac, the cheddar cheese was so fresh and the sauce and pickles hit the spot!) The fries were excellent and my wife loved the popcorn chicken with honey garlic
We will come back for sure. A great little spot!

We love The Mugshot Tavern! Great neighbourhood pub with consistently good food and an awesome atmosphere.
The service truly stands out, our waitress ran the bar, made amazing Caesars, served the whole pub, and even remembered exactly what we ordered two weeks ago. That personal touch means a lot.

Five stars for the service! Pedro was very friendly, attentive and took good care of us during our visit. The location is across the street from High Park and from the station. The food was just okay - the spicy crispy chicken wasn't really crispy, while the rainbow trout was a bit too salty.
A good place to stop in for a drink after a visit to High Park.

Busy for a Friday! We only had to wait ~10mins for a table but were happy to do so with a beer in hand. Excellent food and we had leftovers to bring home too. Will definitely be back.
Update - have been back multiple times since the original review and have never had a bad meal! Definitely a neighbourhood favourite.

Between the great food, friendly faces, and commitment to local beer, The Mugshot Tavern nails exactly what a neighbourhood spot should be. Highly recommended.

This Subway on Bloor has a lot going for it. The store itself looks very modern, clean, and fresh, with nice aesthetics that make a good first impression. It’s definitely one of the better-looking Subway locations I’ve been to. The staff are also very nice and helpful — they greet you warmly, take time to answer questions, and make sure your order is prepared quickly. That kind of service is always appreciated and is a big plus for this location.
Unfortunately, the food quality is where things fall short. During my visit, the bread and vegetables didn’t seem as fresh as they should have been, and there was a noticeable smell when I first walked in, almost like lettuce that’s been sitting around too long. For a place that presents itself so well, it was disappointing to feel that the freshness of the ingredients didn’t match the overall clean and inviting appearance of the store.
It’s not that the food was terrible, but Subway is known for its emphasis on fresh ingredients, and this location didn’t quite deliver on that promise. With some extra attention to maintaining the freshness of the bread and produce, this restaurant could easily rise to a 4- or even 5-star experience. For now, it feels like a place that looks great and has great staff, but needs to step up in the area that matters most — the food.

Very kind employee. I'm not feeling well and I was out of it. I ordered 2 turkey subs for my wife and I. A couple times I had to call my wife to see what bread she wanted. Plus if she wanted it toasted. The employee was so kind to me. She even put a little heart on my wife's sub so I knew which one was hers. Have a great day subway employee. We'll definitely be coming back. 🙏😃

Great costumer service. What a goat I’m not gonna lie, first time in subways and he did me niceeee. I like this place. Bye

Yesterday I had an issue ordering through the Subway app — my order got cancelled due to technical problems, and the store even called me to let me know about it, which I appreciated. Today, I tried again and everything went smoothly! They even accepted two coupons I had, which was a nice bonus. Great recovery and great service — I’ll definitely be coming back.

Pizza: Party + Cup n Char pepperoni + lightly done for a perfect crispy crust.
I’m not sure what the bad ratings are about, this was excellent pizza. Maybe people miss the previous management (Polish gang, staple to High Park). I’ve been ordering from Liberty village due to the reviews here, but clearly they’re bogus. 5/5!
Vlad Kol - 7 months ago
I bought a large three topping pizza with one dollar add-on for two tipping sauces. But taxes everything came out to be about $20. I think these guys pizza is very good, the crust could be thinner, but quite tasty for a $20 meal that will feed three people.

Came for all you can eat dinner on a weekend. Our server was Cindy, and she was very attentive. The service was excellent. Also the food quality is really good. We got almost one of every dish and each was well done. Especially their rolls and short ribs. Their sashimi was also fresh. The ice cream selection was also very diverse. Their ginger, taro and mango were all stars. Will come back.

I was visiting Toronto,CA with my girlfriend and we came here for dinner. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of this mall place ( I think this building was part of Toronto's "underground" ) Food was really fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and showed us how to order. I want to go there again. Price point was about $150CA including tip for us both, so don't come here if you're a cheapskate.

I lost the count on how many times I’ve been to this amazingly fresh and delicious sushi restaurant! From taking home dishes to all-you-can-eat, every time I’m craving for sushi this is my favorite go-to destination!
What truly sets Sushi Place apart is their kind and courteous staff. The attentive servers always ensure my every need from iced water to extra ginger, and their exceptional service always makes me feel like a valued guest during my entire visit. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness’s to offer suggestions and recommendations also elevates the dining experience to new heights.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Sushi Place boasts an impressive array of sushi rolls that cater to a variety of tastes, and I must say, their Spicy Salmon roll and Dynamite roll are absolute standouts - my favs and can’t miss dishes! The Spicy Salmon roll is a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of fresh, tender salmon and a pleasantly fiery kick. It is well crafted and leaves me craving for more. As for the Dynamite roll, it is a true explosion of flavors in my mouth. The combination of crispy tempura, creamy avocado, and succulent shrimp tops with a tangy sauce created an irresistible blend that has me savoring every bite. Also, the freshness and quality of the ingredients are evident in every bite, and it is clear that Sushi Place takes great pride in delivering a great culinary experience!

I discovered this bar when I was looking for a place to play darts. It’s a homey type of bar that is filled with friendly kind humans. We had the burger and the Irish stew, our bellies were happy. They also have a shelf of different hot sauces - I liked the organic Guyanese hot sauce. Darts? They have 2 boards in the back. Nigel is lovely to be around.
Kaavia Kane - a year ago
the wicket is the purest "old time pub" vibe I've ever felt. And they've got an upstairs with darts where I can't think of anything that would get you kicked out (but the other patrons might also take advantage of that). Also, if you like Australian sports it's a great place to deal with the time zone problem.

Great local pub with great service and great food! I eat here often! The burger, the wings, curry goat, the souvlaki or any feature dish is never a disappointment.

First time going, loved it. Went for dart night, but will go back just practically anytime... love the friendly atmosphere and good food! The cook knows his stuff.
Hamlin Cunanan - 5 months ago
This is a solid neighbourhood pub! I wouldn't have thought to check it out, but the google reviews convinced me otherwise. Glad I did. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There are two levels, so there is plenty of space. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. My glass was never empty before I was offered another. The food was very good as well. I got the suicide wings and they were how I like them. A slow build up of burn that stays with you long after the food is gone. If you come early (before 6 or 7pm I think) all the beers are a buck off. They also had some other cheap drinks that day as well. So, you won't break the bank having a few here. I'll definitely be back.

THE BEST burger 🍔 in the city with THE BEST salad dressing. Absolutely LOVED every bite of the huge portions - hot sauce to die for! - and great prices.
Wine prices excellent and the house draft is awesome! Happy hour has great deals and DO NOT MISS ORDERING THE HUMMUS AND CHIPS!
Super absolutely amazing staff working there and the Irish music night is a real treat as well. You MUST go to this pub and enjoy with friends you won’t regret it!!!

I’m not even a brunch person and they have me hooked. I’ve tried most of their brunch items and I have no idea which is my favourite because they’ve all been truly incredible. Though I highly recommend getting any savoury dish to start, then splitting the french toast (it’s to die for). I think that’s the move.
Dave Gibson - 3 years ago
Food is really great for a pub, steak and fries are amazing! Wings are decent too! They have live music and trivia nights, it’s super wholesome, the vibe really makes you forget you’re on Bloor, but rather in the countryside, somewhere with green hills, surrounded by real people and comforting food. The outdoor patio is also adorable! The entrance and bathrooms are a little tight but it’s part of the atmosphere! Will definitely come back!

My favourite restaraunt for breakfast in Toronto! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Great family spot. Amazing BLT Sandwiches and Bannna Bread. Well deserved award.

Such a gem of a breakfast spot! Lunchbox has that cozy, welcoming vibe you only get from a small family-run place. The people were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious, and comforting. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the iced coffee! Also really appreciated the variety of vegetarian options! plenty to choose from. Definitely coming back!

It was an amazing experience! I think it is an excellent deal, you get what you've paid for. A big portion of food for a reasonable price, attentive and very detail-oriented service, the cleanliness of the place was perfect.
Highly recommended to go with your Mom, Dad, partner, or family.
Cheers!

Accessible, cozy place for a quick lunch! The food was good but not memorable ..or maybe it was just because I had the lasagna from their special daily menu and it felt a little heavy since it was not served really hot (it was just a little warm). But yes, I would stop by again: they try to offer a variety of healthy meals and fresh juices too! The staff was friendly and helpful, just not very informed. We asked if one dish had onions in it and they kept asking around from one to another, trying to find out.

I have frequented many Wings Up outlets, and they all serve the same amazing wings every time. I step into each one with zero worries, I know the flavor will be great. The order is the usual favorites: hot BBQ Wings, and the honey garlic parmesan wings.

Nice cozy little spot I stumbled upon with my friend, the service by their night shift worker was absolutely amazing and she was so kind and helpful with her suggestions. She literally made our experience one of a kind and I will be coming back. The wings…. OMG I am still in awe and salivating thinking about eating more of their delicious wings with their many sauces, the Jamaican hot was flavourful and spicy, the honey garlic was amazing, and the classic wings are breaded and seasoned to perfection 10/10 all across the board!!!!

This place is located on the intersection of Keele Street and High Park and walking distance from TTC subways Line 2 (Keele Station) and High Park. They’re also open late at night which makes them the perfect spot for late night cravings.
They offer great variety of chicken fingers, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches with 16 different sauces from mild to very spicy. You also have many great choices for sides, from cajun potato wedges to Mac & Cheese.
We ordered “WingsUp Classic sandwich with Louis Sauce”, “Regular Chicken Fingers with Texas Tequila Sauce”, and “Regular wing meal with Honey Hot Sauce”. Our food was fresh and tasty.
They also have patio seating for warmer seasons and the staff are very friendly.

The staff at this location give great service.
The food at this location is all ways hot & fresh but the price is not great anymore it all went up for the portions of food they serve which shrunk.
it’s a rip off now for the price of a pound of wings and servings are small.
Probably one of my favourite fast food joints in the city until they raised all their prices.

This is my go-to spot in the neighbourhood. I have never dined in, I call ahead to order takeout. Service is speedy and they’ve always been polite. I personally don’t love bean sprouts (but I hate food waste!), and they’re kind enough to give me only basil and lime in the lil bag of condiments for my pho.
Bailey Martel - 3 months ago
Decent Vietnamese place. No XL phos available, which is what I usually get to share, so the small was a bit too big for me. The special had good flavor though. The spring rolls were a miss for me - it was way too crispy and super hard to pick up with your chopsticks. Service was good - they didn't have two of what we wanted for apps on the menu so gave us an extra spring roll to compensate, which was nice.

I came here and ate the grilled pork chops with steam rice. Wowww the porkchop was delicious, juicy and well marinated. My friend also ordered the Pho, the broth was also one of the best he's had. The service was also very friendly 😀 We're excited to come back and try more!

Pass by this place on the subway on my commute to and from school and finally got the chance to try it. Great service and ambiance, they don't make you write down your order on paper like other places. I got a rice plate instead and the chicken and pork chop was so juicy and flavourful. Just wish they had beef tendon in their soups. Will definitely be coming back
