4 Star Rating So I recently had lunch with my old friend and she took me to this beautiful place called Terroni and it feels like I’m having lunch in Quebec, this place was so old and had beautiful vintage vibes. I had gluten-free pasta with tomato and zucchini and it was okay whereas my friend had a salad. I did like the pasta as much as I was expecting it to be and it charged fairly enough for two dishes. I wish I had a pizza instead of pasta that may have tasted better.

4 Star Rating Everything we tried was delicious! Great chew to the pasta, perfectly al dente. Calamari had thin breading and was seasoned well. Ambiance and decor was also great. However, our seats were oddly tight. Our table was at the basement level, between a wall and another table that was too close to us. Two of the four seats (the two seats that was beside a neighbouring table) ended up being sandwiched between. Service was ok. We went on a weeknight for dinner. Throughout the meal, it felt as if we were getting rushed to finish, despite the fact there were several tables sitting empty nearby. Otherwise food was served promptly.

5 Star Rating Went to Terroni for lunch with my wifey and baby. We had a wonderful time. The food was amazing 🤩 We had appetizers , main course and dessert! I have to say their Gelato is definitely the best in town. Hazelnut and pistachio flavor 😋. I would recommend everyone give that a try. Definitely going back !

5 Star Rating Took my mom out for a Valentine’s Day lunch & we loved our experience at Terroni. The aesthetic of the place is timeless and old fashioned with a modern restaurant twist. The pizza was absolutely incredible and tasty. Our server Mathew also made great recommendations. Will be back for sure for the yummy food and amazing hospitality

5 Star Rating I would have given more stars if I could. This is our second time coming here and it gets better every time. The food is amazing but the service is even better. At every turn our server Janus made the evening very special for us, just exceptional service. The kitchen staff also made our evening and our anniversary so wonderful, thank you so much to everyone working this evening. Also the cheesecake is to die for.

4 Star Rating Always exception service and attention to detail by the staff. Went for lunch and they delivered the food promptly and arrived hot. A bit more difficult to find options if you have a dairy allergy but they accommodated what they could. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the calamari was fresh tasting.

4 Star Rating I haven't been to Jump in a loooong time (~10 years). On this evening I came here with colleagues and client for dinner. Staff was amazing and attentive. Decor and atmosphere was very nice as well. Food was excellent. There were a lot of menu items I wanted to try, but landed on the seared scallop & Argentine shrimp seafood risotto. My only criticism is that portions weren't great -- but I guess this is quality vs quantity debate, or maybe I just eat a lot ^_^ For dessert I got the pear tarte tatin, which was amazing, but I couldn't taste much pear in it (but it was still good). I had colleagues who sang praises for the white chocolate cheesecake as well.

4 Star Rating Visited for Winterlicious recently and enjoyed a tasty, upscale menu with a great experience to boot. They're conveniently located in Toronto's Financial District, with street-level access and indoor access both accessible. The food was prepared in a timely manner and all dishes were great - the salmon gravlax and Arctic char were delicious, as was the banoffee pie trifle dessert. Service was good as well and food arrived shortly after ordering - the staff definitely go above and beyond to make your experience a great one. Worth checking out for your next downtown dining experience!

5 Star Rating We dined at Jump before a show at Meridian Hall, and we were in a bit of a rush. Our server was very accommodating, and he placed our orders right away. He made sure that we got all our food and were able to get out in time to catch our show. We were there on December 30th, and they had beautiful decor with gold and black balloons which gave us some photo opportunities. The decor and ambiance is gorgeous. And the food in service is impeccable. We had beef carpaccio, burrata, and scallops for appetizers and all three were hands down delicious. For main course, we had lamb, chicken el pesto and half chicken. I felt the lamb could use more flavour, but the other two dishes were so good. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

5 Star Rating My first visit here, on my husband's recommendation, as it's his favourite restaurant in Toronto. We ate with our son in law and daughter, who we haven't seen for some time, they live in Vancouver, and we, in England. So, it was a big occasion for us and I was hoping for a great experience! I was NOT disappointed, quite the opposite. Our food was sublime, the service attentive, knowledgeable and professional whilst being warm and welcoming, and the venue itself is contemporary, smart and really very tasteful. We ate every morsel of food, had wonderful mock and cocktails, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the magnificent views. The only thing I'd change? That it was on my doorstep. Compliments to the entire team at this incredible place!!

3 Star Rating Made a reservation for Feb 16 online. Followed up with a phone call to inform one guest was vegetarian. Process was very easy. Arrived on time, and fortunately received a window seat. The views are amazing. Please insist on a window seat because this is one of the main reasons to come to this restaurant….the views! We decided to go with the Tasting Menu (seven course meal decided by the chef, based on the local available ingredients). The food was really good, however, not once were we asked how we might want certain food cooked. It was all decided by the chef. The wait staff were very attentive and professional, very efficient and quick, and can’t say anything bad about their service. Top notch. We paid over $600 for dinner for two, and overall feel like the food was overpriced, based on the quality and experience. We likely will not come back because there are so many other choices within Toronto with amazing food and service for the same price.

5 Star Rating We had such an incredible time during my first visit to Canoe! The restaurant not only offers the best view in Downtown Toronto, and the ambiance was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend going there with someone you love. We decided to try the Taste Canoe menu, every dish was beyond fantastic. The presentation was top-notch, and the flavors were incredibly tasty. If I had to choose a favorite, it would definitely be the Onion + Caviar. The chef used real onions, and it was simply amazing. You have to try it! Make sure to make a reservation in advance and request a window seat. It's the perfect spot to celebrate any occasion. Complimentary Parking after 5:30PM

5 Star Rating We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner. The staff are very friendly and professional. There was a set menu, everything was great but we found the dessert to be too bitter. It was dark chocolate moose so I can understand but I think it needed something sweet to make the dark chocolate less overwhelming. Nevertheless it was close to perfect. Definitely would recommend the “hummingbird” cocktail.

4 Star Rating Came here in November for a cousin's wedding and the venue was so incredibly beautiful. We were able to watch the sunset while drinking some amazing and strong cocktails. For dinner I had the onion soup as my app, 5.5oz aged Albertan filet as my main, and the blood orange + honey dessert. Everything was delicious, but the cocktails and view were definitely my favourite!

3 Star Rating The food is always amazing here, every time I'm in Toronto I need to visit! Atmosphere is more like a sports bar though as it's very loud and filled with people drinking after work. Myself and my husband couldn't hear each other talking so I wouldn't recommend it for an intimate dinner but the food is always worth putting up with the atmosphere. I've had many different dishes here but the fish and chips are incredible!

4 Star Rating Stopped in here for a quick bite (9:30pm), they were busy but overall seated quickly. The server took our order and brought our food within a reasonable time. Food and drinks were ok overall not bad place to stop in for a pint or a quick bite but unsure of their menu choice as they had I believe butter chicken as one of their specials? I could be wrong as it was a few weeks back since I ate there but I know it wasn’t really along that “typical” pub menu which isn’t bad just not expected..overall not bad at all.

5 Star Rating They’re kind of expected to have great Guinness and they didn’t disappoint - smooth and crisp. We had the fish and chips and the crocodile bites. Gotta day, the fish was great but the crocodile bites were amazing! Never thought of trying it before, but I’m glad I did. The crocodile is a lunch special, so you may not see it all the time but it’s definitely worth trying if you do. Staff was friendly and attentive, but not to a point of being annoying - just enough check in for fresh drinks. The dining area was clean and the TVs didn’t have their volume cranked which is a nice change. Just enough class for a business lunch without feeling stuffy.

5 Star Rating O&B is always a safe choice. You can never go wrong with any of their restaurants. I went to Biff’s bistro with my colleagues today and we loved our prix fixe menu! For $58 you could get three courses - for appetizers, you have a choice between Caesar salad or the chicken liver parfait. The mains were between a braised chicken dish, or a seared salmon and for desserts, we had four options, one of which was a Basque cheesecake! We were all so full after the dinner, the portions for each dish was quite generous and I felt like I ate my money’s worth. They also offer happy hour between 5-7pm and $2 oysters when you order a bottle of wine! It’s my 4th time here and I always leave the restaurant full and happy. Also, our waiter was awesome, super friendly guy and was probably the best waiter I’ve met in a very long time - he just knew when to come by and check in on us. Didn’t get his name but he was tall and very muscular!!

5 Star Rating My friends and I were late to a concert so didn't get to try their mains but I need to rave about their French onion soup. It was the best I've tried ever. I don't know how they caramelized the onions but the texture just melted in your mouth. There was the perfect amount of onions and the broth was superb. It wasn't salty like a lot of the places so it was seasoned perfectly. They also gave a generous amount of cheese, baked well while still keeping the croutons crunchy. The raw oysters on the other hand didn't have much flavors and the beef tartar was just ok. The white wine that we ordered was really good though. I would come back here for the French onion soup everyday.

4 Star Rating Wonderful atmosphere and super friendly staff. Decorated like a resto in France and good music in the background to set the mood. We had sharables and mains. The oysters were delicious. For the most part food was good. If I had to make a suggestion, the consistency of the gnocchi could be a bit more squiggy. We were not asked how we wanted the duck breast cooked, we like rare, it came out medium to well done. As stated staff were super nice. It was busy, I understand that, but we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The bar staff got them out so quick! If I could make another suggestion, have someone clear plates after appetizers, not just fill water, to help out the wait staff. I would go again.

2 Star Rating *Winterlicious Menu* FOOD: the winterlicious menu has failed me completely, food quality and quantity was really not good. • Oysters: very small, does not have much freshness taste. • Some kind of poached fish: 1 SMALL PEACE of bland, mushy fish sitting in a flavorless broth with an overcooked peace of carrot on top. • Sashimi platter: 5 kinds of fish with 2 small pieces each. It was ok but I'm surprised that there's no salmon. • Wagyu Steak: 100% not wagyu. It's very very bad, very dry and tough. Portion is Tiny! The color of wasabi is quite off to me I'm not sure what happened to it. • Miso Cheesecake: zero miso flavor, it's totally texture of a mousse not a cheesecake. SERVICE: after the food is served my waitress is no where to be seen. Service was ok but it's so hard to get my server or any server over when I sit in the semi private booth/room. They seem to be really short on staff. VIBE: I feel like they been trying to make it an upscale restaurant but the place looks exactly like a normal izakaya or a local Japanese restaurant.

4 Star Rating This lovely breakfast place is tucked under Hotel Victoria on Yonge St. We went there for our Sunday brunch. I loved the decor of the place and loved the food even more. Being just 2 of us, we didn't get to try a lot. We did try their famous Eggs Benedict and it is an absolute must have. The hollandaise sauce was exquisite - smooth and thick as it is supposed to be. While my wife had that, I decided to have the Breakfast Poutine since I'm still relatively new to Canada and haven't gotten over poutines yet. It came with ham, bacon and 2 poached eggs with hollandaise on top. It was heavenly. I must say, the home fries, were very good as well and definitely deserve a mention. The only thing I can think of as a downside was that our order took some time to come in. But then, we cant complain much on a Sunday brunch. This is definitely going to be my go to breakfast place. Their competitors have their work cut out for them. This is a must try breakfast place while in downtown Toronto.

4 Star Rating Brunch vibes at this spot were top-notch! Cozy seating and a friendly atmosphere set the tone. Tried two omelettes - one with Spanish sausage and the other with bacon - both perfectly portioned for around $18 CAD each. The potato chunks were a hit! Service could be even better, but overall, can't wait to come back!

3 Star Rating Visited for Winterlicious while in the area. Went for the $45 set menu. Salmon dish was good but the Chicken, tasted good, left you hungry... plate was far too large for the serving. The tiramisu was the size of the fork. I guess this combo was meant as a sampler.

2 Star Rating Dinner reservation and seated at 5:45pm, 4 people in total. Did not receive entree until 6:55pm. This place is great in the morning for brunch, though dinner service is abysmal. The atmosphere is fantastic, though if you'd like waiting more than eating food this is a place to be. The restaurant didn't look busy so my family and I were wondering why our food is taking so long. Last time we're dining here for dinner service! Also, the Kofta looked quite sad. Plating is great, though not worth the wait. Salmon was amazing though! However, is the salmon worth close to an hour wait? I don't think so!

3 Star Rating This was my first time doing the brunch buffet and I had expectations, not high expectations but expectations because I heard good things about it. The food wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it was anything special. I do really like their lasagna and pastas but I found the chicken sausage really tough. I didn’t take to anything on the side closest to the front door. The mimosas were also really flat…and we had to send it back. The place was super busy, and it felt chaotic, though I do understand since it was their New Year’s Eve brunch. I’d be a returning customer but probably not for the brunch buffet.

3 Star Rating Not bad! I didn’t like most of the buffet food, except for a few options. I liked the atmosphere and service was good. Price was higher than I expected from the quality of food.
