5 Star Rating Came here to celebrate my special girl’s birthday, and it was perfect. We ordered the tomahawk ribeye; cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The sides of mushrooms and mashed potatoes paired so well with the steak. The service and atmosphere made the night feel extra special. Definitely a memorable dining experience, highly recommend for any celebration!

3 Star Rating I had heard a lot about Morton’s before coming here. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The service was excellent and the servers were very attentive. The food on the other hand was not up to the mark. I have had many steaks in my day and this was definitely one of the worst I’ve ever had. The dessert wasn’t much to write home about either. The wine was decent. The ambience in the upstairs area was also lacking. Not really worth the price, in my opinion

5 Star Rating Me and my girlfriend visited Morton’s for our anniversary and I should say what a classic this place is! We were helped by Athena, who was amazing in walking us through the menu. They also put anniversary cards in our menus and served us complimentary chocolate lava cake at the end which was so nice and thoughtful. (And oh, the cake was so delicious. We were full but still finished the cake). We ordered bone-in ribeye and French onion soup. The bone-in ribeye cooked medium would just fall off the bone . We got garlic butter on the side which was a nice touch and French onion soup was just so warm and fresh and tasty. Their in-house bread with the butter was also so freshly made and. All around amazing night with thoughtful staff and delicious food!

4 Star Rating I went here for a friends birthday and overall was a pleasant experience. I had the ribeye steak with lobster Mac & cheese and it was fairly good. I would definitely choose a sauce next time to enhance the taste of the steak because the flavour was slightly underwhelming. Mac & cheese was tasty but wish they added some more shrimp Waiter was extremely nice and welcoming and the overall service was very good. Definitely on the pricier side for what is given but somewhat expected for a spot downtown

5 Star Rating I’ve only been coming to this Tim Hortons for a few weeks since starting a new job, but I already feel like a regular thanks to Christian. He greets me every morning with a warm smile, asks how I’m doing, knows me by name and even has my order ready (I use the app). It’s such a small thing, but it truly makes my mornings better. Thank you, Christian, for starting my day on a positive note!

5 Star Rating The reason I keep returning to this particular place, despite other options that might be closer, comes down to one simple, yet powerful, factor: the exceptional customer service from Chris! It’s a force that transforms a simple transaction into a positive experience, and that experience builds a relationship of trust and loyalty. While the product or service itself is important, the human element—the way I'm treated—is what truly differentiates this business and keeps me coming back.

4 Star Rating I’ve been to Hemingway quite a few times since it’s close to me. Overall, it has a really good and fun vibe. Personally, I think it’s best if you go with a group of friends — the bigger the group, the more fun you’ll have, especially if you’re drinking. For a quiet conversation, it’s not the best spot since almost everyone is tipsy 😅 and the place gets pretty loud.

4 Star Rating Hemingway’s is a vibrant spot that delivers on both atmosphere and flavor. From the moment you walk in, the energy is welcoming and upbeat, making it a great place for a meal or a night out. The food is outstanding—especially the fish and chips and the fish tacos, which were both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lively setting with very good food and top-notch service. Will definitely be back!

2 Star Rating The chicken souvlaki was so dry, even drowning it in tzatziki couldn’t save it… the rice was also very dry, had no seasoning and definitely not made today. Jimmy the Greek does it better and that’s mall food. There was also a racoon crawling on the roof which apparently “happens every day because it lives in the tree beside the restaurant” and had me questioning food standards while adding to the tired cheap vibe.

5 Star Rating Right across the street from the amazing-on-it’s-own ROM, the Gardiner shines on its own with a wonderful collection. We visited during the renovation of the first floor so the museum was generously pay-what-you-wish. I loved seeing the porcelain and ceramics from countries around the world. Some beautiful seating available off the galleries on some terraces. They also have clay workshops going on, and though we did not sign up for one, we were invited to join in a “play with clay” event going on outside which was a fun bonus activity on our way out.

4 Star Rating I enjoyed my visit here very much. Good range of works, clearly presented. The Tree of Life (basement) could have a short (18"-high) mirror put behind it so we can see the back of it. The third floor has a curious, neutral-to-positive take on a megalomaniac. It doesn't suitably confront the issues of kidnapping (saying someone was just 'seized'?) and other injustices that were, at best, glossed over, and at worst glorified. Even if they weren't explicitly condoned it seems they were laid vulnerable to misinterpretation by young audiences. I get that it's a fine line not to be too presentist. But there could be a more balanced representation of Augustus: e.g. detailing further the political turmoil. Perhaps put more emphasis on how his pursuits destabilised Poland (a historical fact), how his legacy is marked as much by overreach as artistic brilliance, how he saw leadership less as a duty than a spectacle. And so on. If this seems out of place in a ceramics museum, fine, but then much of the existing text in veiled reverence of Augustus should also be omitted. Highly recommend this engaging and diverse museum.

5 Star Rating Such a nice place to check out. I learned a lot about ceramics and seeing how organize it was inside allowed myself to immerse in each era. 4 Star Rating Great location in the heart of Yorkville, very attentive & kind staff. The food came quickly & hot. Delicious pizza & pasta although the pasta portion was small considering the price. The lichee martini was probably the best one I’ve had to date. The warm apple crumble was delicious but it’s actually a slice of apple pie. There’s parking right down the road about minutes away which is so convenient. We’ll definitely return

5 Star Rating Best Gelato 2022, really, I'm a believer. One small table and 2 chairs so plan on eating your gelato on the run Their pistachio flavor was intense; like drowning in a sea of pistachio nuts. Pistachio ice cream in the past was always weak in flavor and disappointing, however, this one has given me hope for humanity. Their lemon sorbet was refreshing and intense. Both flavor textures were creamy and silky. Thank God I don't live close to this place or I would be auditioning for The 600lb life tv show.

5 Star Rating A great place for a quick bite after visiting the ROM. All the food we tried was tasty. The pizza was freshly made and tasty. Great selection of kids meals. We ordered the kids hamburger with fries and it was a good portion and tasted great. I would suggest adding some veggie sticks to make it a more nutritious and complete kids meal. The price was great. We dined during happy hours so for the quality of food and atmosphere, it is a steal! Very nice ambience with indoor and outdoor patio dining options. It's part of a hotel so the washroom was spacious and clean! Overall, a great comfortable restaurant and good for kids. I will come back again.

3 Star Rating It's a very smart and comfortable lounge. The service was fantastic and the drinks were ok. Sadly, I did tell the server we were a tad disappointed by the $18 "happy hour" pizza - it seemed to look like something from the Shoppers frozen aisle (and tasted worse). He kindly offered us some desserts but we declined. He mentioned that their other food is better, so I don't want to judge the place too harshly based on the pizza (see picture). For the restaurant: there are many great pubs and bars downtown selling happy hour pizzas, home made, for $10... Edna and Vita is a good example.

5 Star Rating finally decided to try this place after seeing it go viral and was not disappointed! Located in a truly great Toronto neighborhood, it was the perfect spot to settle in and get some work done. I ordered the octopus and two cocktails. I can confidently say the octopus was prepared perfectly—it literally melted in my mouth. It's rare to find a place that cooks it this well. The drinks were chef's kiss; absolutely top-tier. The service was a highlight. My server, Ty, was excellent. He constantly had an eye on my table, ensuring I had everything I needed to focus on my work without being intrusive. Impeccable service like that makes a difference. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work or a beautiful setting for a meal, this place is fantastic. 5 Star Rating We visited Bar Reyna with my family while traveling from Halifax, and the experience was simply excellent. The atmosphere in the patio was absolutely spectacular. Our server, Ryan from Colombia, had such a great charisma and made us feel like this moment was a special highlight of our trip. We’ll definitely be coming back! The food he recommended was outstanding – the Reyna Salad with chicken was super crispy and delicious, and the pitcher of sangria was the star of our brunch (we loved it so much we ordered three 🤭). The Lamb Baklava and the Wagyu Beef Pincho were incredibly tender and juicy. I left not only very happy with the experience at Bar Reyna, but also with such a warm impression of Toronto. 3 Star Rating It’s a nice place, with a menu that’s a mix of Spanish dishes and some Mediterranean options 🫤. We ordered two tapas: the octopus, which came in a very tiny portion (just small pieces on a skewer) and honestly nothing special, and the ham baklava, which made me curious since I’d never had it before. The flavor actually reminded me of a famous Persian dish — tasty, but definitely not a baklava 😅. We also tried the potato pavé from the vegetable menu (not tapas). I’d never had it before, and while the portion was small, it was very tasty and enjoyable.
