We had a really great experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse. My husband and I celebrated our Valentine’s date there. The service was excellent, the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were very tasty. The atmosphere was romantic, and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Old school steakhouse in its decor. (Which I personally love) Classic upscale steakhouse in service, food and atmosphere. Low lighting, attention to detail (they had a "Happy bday" card and other things arranged on table before we arrived). Attentive and excellent service. We got the seafood tower followed by ribeye and some sides to share. This was our 2nd bday visit, and it's a new tradition.

Best steak we’ve ever had. Cooked a perfection. Best service by James. How do you recommend get a reservation as gets busy later in the evening. Valet parking available some street parking or paid parking lot and lots across the street in Yorkville.

Me and my girlfriend visited Morton’s for our anniversary and I should say what a classic this place is! We were helped by Athena, who was amazing in walking us through the menu. They also put anniversary cards in our menus and served us complimentary chocolate lava cake at the end which was so nice and thoughtful. (And oh, the cake was so delicious. We were full but still finished the cake). We ordered bone-in ribeye and French onion soup. The bone-in ribeye cooked medium would just fall off the bone . We got garlic butter on the side which was a nice touch and French onion soup was just so warm and fresh and tasty. Their in-house bread with the butter was also so freshly made and. All around amazing night with thoughtful staff and delicious food!

We visited Morton’s Steakhouse in downtown Toronto as a family of four on Valentine’s night. The valet parking was convenient and reasonably priced (around $20–$25 plus tip), which made arriving stress-free. Our server provided excellent customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made an effort to connect with both us and our kids. His recommendations for the kids were thoughtful and appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience at the entrance was not what we expected from an upscale restaurant. As we arrived, a verbal dispute broke out between a couple without a reservation and the hostess. A gentleman from the staff stepped in to assist, but the argument continued in front of other guests, including children. While it seemed the guests initiated the conflict, the situation could have been handled more professionally and discreetly. We were seated upstairs, and I would not recommend that area. It felt quiet, isolated, and lacked the lively, upscale ambiance you’d expect at a place like Morton’s. If you’re planning to go, definitely ask to be seated on the first floor, the atmosphere there seemed much more enjoyable. As for the food, it did not meet our expectations, especially for a high-end steakhouse on a special occasion. The steaks were underwhelming and lacked the flavor and tenderness we were hoping for. The salad was also disappointing, the lettuce was wilted and didn’t taste fresh. Even considering how busy Valentine’s night can be, that doesn’t justify the drop in food quality. Overall, while we appreciated the great service from our waiter and the convenience of valet parking, the food, seating, and front-door incident left us with a less-than-satisfying experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend Morton’s based on our visit.

Great experience at Tim Hortons 246 Bloor Street West! I tried the Pistachio Latte and it was delicious. The team made my order quickly, and Belle was very friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and efficient, even during busy hours. The store was clean and well maintained, and my order was prepared correctly and with care. Definitely a reliable spot for a quick coffee and breakfast. Keep up the great work!

I would just like to say how kind and thoughtful Chris is. Every time I’ve been served by Chris he’s been very gentle and thoughtful with handling all my orders. We got seated immediately and waiter was very friendly! The bar was busy at 9:30pm but the food came in less than 10 minutes. We ordered curried lamb with the mango chutney. The food was phenomenal; the curried lamb had a little kick to it from the spice, but it was done at a perfect amount. The lamb itself was very tender and the veggies mixed with the chutney delivered a unique experience. The order came to just over $30 per person. Overall 10/10 experience! I would recommend anyone coming here to try to the curried lamb.

Popped in for a meal with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh, tasty and well-portioned. The nachos were a highlight, and the fish and chips were proper comfort food. Decent service, good atmosphere and good value for money. Would definitely come back🍻

As a fellow Kiwi man married to a Canadian with Canadian kids. We love this restaurant. A touch of kiwi class. Food that transports me back to my roots. But most of all the family loves the Pavlova desert. Love me a good ole hearty lamb shanks 🤤😁

We had NZ lamb chops. The meat was succulent and well seasoned. It goes well with the mashed potato and the veggies. The calamari was so-so. I was just surprised that they used tzatziki as sauce. I liked how hot they serve the food. The first floor is the bar. They also have an ATM in the mezzanine /second floor and the dining area is on the third floor/rooftop. We had a pretty good view and there was tv in there to watch any sports games.

Great atmosphere to watch sports. The service was nice. I ordered the steak and absolutely loved it! Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I also tried their pavlova dessert, and it was amazing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

I enjoyed this museum a lot more than I had expected I would. Beautiful display of unique pieces. There is a lot to look at. takes about 1-2.5 hours to walk around. It is a few minutes walk from the ROM and the Bata Shoe Museum. I recommended checking the shoe museum on the same day as well, as a fun half day activity.

As a wedding photographer, I love working at the Gardiner Museum. It’s modern, architectural, and it gives space to create. The natural light inside is beautiful. Large windows bring in soft daylight that is very flattering.The terrace is a big bonus. You get open air, skyline views, and room for guests to mingle. It’s perfect for cocktail hour and candid moments. Inside, the lines are simple and elegant. Neutral walls, and contemporary design. That means the couple stays the focus. Right across from Queen’s Park. You can step outside for portraits with greenery, city vibes, or both. From a photography perspective, it’s versatile. It works for modern weddings, editorial style, and couples who want something refined but not over the top. If you’re planning a downtown Toronto wedding with a clean, contemporary feel, the Gardiner Museum is a strong choice.

The Gardiner Museum houses a rich collection of ceramic objects, including small statues, dishes, bowls, cups, teapots, and many other works in clay. The elegant building is organized over three floors plus a basement. The basement displays only a few artworks along a corridor that leads to rooms used by museum staff. The first floor features a small museum shop, a couple of rooms dedicated to children’s activities—one of which is open only for classes and special events—and galleries presenting modern ceramic works alongside the oldest pieces in the collection, originating from South America, the Middle East, and Europe, particularly Italy. The second floor is devoted to European porcelain, mainly from England, France, and Germany, as well as an impressive collection of Japanese and Chinese porcelain artworks. On the third floor, visitors can enjoy a beautiful café with large glass windows offering a view of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). The entire museum is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. Children can pick up activity booklets on the ground floor, which they can use to explore and engage with the artworks throughout the museum. The museum is not excessively large and can be comfortably visited in one to two hours.

What an unique museum- dedicated to ceramics. This lovely museum is right across from the ROM you all know. Get off at TTC museum station and head here to get wowed by ceramic evolution tales especially in countries/ kingdom of Europe and world in general.Adore the marvellous collection of ceramics from different era and kingdom. A wonderful place to spend and hour or two having a different perspective on ceramics. One thing that stands out for this place is that it is well curated museum,much smaller than ROM but nevertheless special in it's own right.

Stopped by for dinner with family and we had a lovely time. Ana Maria was our server and she was very attentive and kind. The location is in the heart of Yorkville with unique touches throughout the restaurant and tables. They also had heated outdoor seating which was a plus for a rainy evening. We ordered the calamari, veal, and angel hair pasta and all were delicious! We were too full to try any dessert but did see several people share their excitement once they tried theirs. Highly recommend for a group or date night!

Great location in the heart of Yorkville, very attentive & kind staff. The food came quickly & hot. Delicious pizza & pasta although the pasta portion was small considering the price. The lichee martini was probably the best one I’ve had to date. The warm apple crumble was delicious but it’s actually a slice of apple pie. There’s parking right down the road about minutes away which is so convenient. We’ll definitely return

I went to this restaurant with a huge party (~25 ppl) that had the room upstairs. The service was excellent. Probably the best service I've ever had at a restaurant with a large group. The food was also delicious. The servers were attentive and kind. The restaurant was more than happy to make substitutions, which we loved and was so appreciated so that we could all thoroughly enjoy our meals.

Had a mistake with my order but the managers/owners were extremely apologetic about it and very nice. The server had a talking to after they found out who I was. Even tho i got the wrong dish, it was very tasty.

Service is quick, although the staff doesn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the menu or ingredients. Prices are generally reasonable, but some items weirdly expensive, for example, a bottle of sparkling water costs $12. Dimmi Charbroiled Calamari The calamari was decent — slightly on the tough side, lacking the tenderness you'd hope for. That said, the accompanying arugula, greens, and cherry tomatoes dressed in a balsamic-olive oil vinaigrette added freshness and depth to the dish, elevating the overall flavor. Dimmi Fettuccine Alla Riviera with shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. The pasta was cooked "al dente," but leaned a little too far into firmness. Unfortunately, the seafood was overcooked, which dulled both the texture and flavor. A better balance between pasta doneness and seafood tenderness is needed here. Dimmi Veal Milanese served with arugula, parmigiano, cherry tomatoes, sautéed rapini, and roasted potatoes. This was easily the least tender veal I've had in the past five years. It lacked flavor and was tough to chew, which made the whole dish disappointing despite the well-prepared sides. Overall, despite a few decent elements, mediocre food with overcooked seafood and tough to chew veal make it hard to recommend.

This is a wonderful Italian gelateria and one of my favorite summer spots in Toronto. The gelato tastes fresh and authentic, just like in Italy. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. I also love that they introduce new flavors during the summer, which makes every visit a little different and exciting. It’s the perfect place to stop by on a warm day for a delicious treat. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for real Italian gelato in Toronto! 🍦🇮🇹

Absolutely delicious gelato! We tried the pistachio, hazelnut, and coffee, and each one was bursting with incredible flavor. The consistency was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet, which we loved. Plus, the friendly staff went the extra mile to confirm the flavors were gluten-free. We'll definitely be back for more!

the pistachio definitely the most memorable flavour, overall a decent gelato. the texture is quite creamy / however it melts quickly. I was not disappointed with my cup but it cannot compete with mizzica, however if you’re in this side of town, I recommend you choose this spot for good quality gelato. the space could use a rebrand as it’s quite dated considering it’s in yorkville.

The staff here are so sweet and kind! I love that they always have new and exciting flavours like fig, amarena and passion fruit. Although my favourite will always be the lemon gelato!!! My husbands favourite is the pistachio. Rich and decadent but light enough to keep you wanting more. Another favourite of mine is their waffle cone because it smells exactly like traditional pizelle from Italy! The cappuccino machine is amazing too!! I also really love that you can take ice cream home. They put it in styrofoam to keep it cool on the way home and then you have incredible gelato at home!!! The only thing is that this location is definitely not convenient if you are driving as it’s in the very heart of yorkville with no street parking. Great spot when you’re walking through bay and bloor!!

One of the better McDonald’s locations downtown. It’s relatively clean, and the workers are friendly and helpful. This might be the only location I’d sit down in and dine-in also. However, in the end it’s just McDonald’s. I know every McDonald’s does this, but I wish the burgers and sandwiches weren’t slapped together so sloppily all the time. It only takes a couple seconds to make sure everything is stacked on top of each other instead of it being super off centre.

The location is great. Food is actually better than most locations. But there are a few issues such as some of the customers at the location. Mostly the street people, there is always one inside it stinking up the place. I don’t blame the McDonalds for that.

The staffs were really nice, BUT!!! I ordered decaf coffee and verbally confirmed with a staff while picking it up over the counter, and she said yes, it's decaf... And then I knew it was NOT decaf 1000% cuz I was still awake 3 AM that night and I could write an essay with that clear of a mind... Hope the staff be more responsible on providing customers real decaf when the customers indeed order a decaf!!!

Their power lunch concept is thoughtfully designed and perfect for sharing and exploring a variety of dishes without feeling overwhelming, the food itself is the stand out from this experience.. huge thank you to the chef and kitchen! Each plate brought something memorable to the table. The Lebanese tacos were a clear highlight, full of flavor and beautifully balanced. The lamb baklava although a small dish is enough for everyone to try a bite, it’s definitely a different take and was tasty. The truffle Turkish rice added a rich, elevated touch, love the pomegranate seeds for a sweetness, while the croquettes were perfectly crisp and satisfying. Ending with the sorbet was the ideal finish, light, refreshing, and exactly what the meal called for. I would have loved a more cozy table, high top seating for expecting women is extremely uncomfortable and took away from the experience, we did have a reservation and I thought that would include a more intimate and comfortable table. Would love to try out another dinning area, as they have a back room and upstairs seating. The front during lunch hours also had people on laptops in meetings and on their phones and that also affected the vibe. It was a celebratory lunch and we didn’t want to feel like we were in the office. Food was outstanding and for that it’s still a 5 star but could do with a couple of service etiquette improvements.

Great food/ good service/ lovely atmosphere We had a lovely early dinner yesterday, eating off the lunch, mid-day and dinner menus. Every bite was sumptuous. Really, you can’t go wrong here with whatever you order. Manchego croquettes - to die for Falafel bites - terrific Lebanese taco - sooo good Frites - yum to the last crumb Reyna salad - delightful If you're there during Golden Hour, be sure to ask where all the specials are and how it works. This wasn't made clear, so we probably paid too much for wine and cocktails, not to mention some of the meal items. Helping you get the best value isn't really top of mind for the servers. Service was really just ok. Recommended (especially for the food!)

Amazing food honestly, I don’t think there was a single item on the menu I could say didn’t taste amazing. Kingsley was our server and he was on point. Chef moses has done an amazing job creating and keeping your taste buds wanting more. Menu offers a variety of food that can cater to anyone visiting Bar Reyna. To drink I had the French martini and it was very well balanced, not too sweet and not to spirit forward. Will definitely be visiting again 10/10

I spent my birthday here, and the experience was wonderful. The servers gave very detailed introductions for every dish and offered a variety of wine samples for us to taste, patiently guiding us to make the right choice after explaining each one. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, and after learning that it was my birthday, the staff were incredibly kind and even wrote me a handwritten birthday card. Parking is conveniently located right next to the restaurant, which made everything even easier. Highly recommended!

finally decided to try this place after seeing it go viral and was not disappointed! Located in a truly great Toronto neighborhood, it was the perfect spot to settle in and get some work done. I ordered the octopus and two cocktails. I can confidently say the octopus was prepared perfectly—it literally melted in my mouth. It's rare to find a place that cooks it this well. The drinks were chef's kiss; absolutely top-tier. The service was a highlight. My server, Ty, was excellent. He constantly had an eye on my table, ensuring I had everything I needed to focus on my work without being intrusive. Impeccable service like that makes a difference. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work or a beautiful setting for a meal, this place is fantastic. Their patio is stunning—definitely worth checking out! Amazing atmosphere. Came here for lunch. Delicious: chopped salad with chicken, "this and that" (salmon charcuterie board). The poached eggs were more like eggs and a stew base ... Different than what I expected but still tasted good. The apple/pear/ginger seasonal juice was exceptional and refreshing!

CLAY Restaurant has a nice view, located on the third floor of the Gardiner Museum. The first floor is currently under renovation and closed, so admission is pay-as-you-wish. Since we went up to the third floor for a meal, we also took the stairs down afterward and visited the ceramic exhibits on the second floor. The area is surrounded by historic buildings, and the service was excellent—warm but respectful, very attentive with timely plate changes and table settings. I enjoyed the modern, fusion-style dishes. The lemon tart was a highlight: sweet and sour in perfect balance, very refreshing, though it took a little longer to arrive since the whipped cream was freshly made. The soba cold noodles with fried tofu were quite unique. The omelette was a safe choice but still satisfying, with the fillings changing daily—today’s mushroom, cheese, and bacon combination was exactly to my taste. The corned beef was decent, nothing outstanding. As for the ceramics collection, it was impressive with pieces from both Eastern and Western traditions across different eras, definitely worth a look.

We had lunch here for Mother’s Day. The restaurant itself is clean with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, though understandably busy for the occasion. Service was attentive, but our food did take a while to arrive. We started with coffee, which was excellent. As for the special Mother’s Day menu, it left room for improvement. The salad looked appealing, but the lettuce was served in large clumped leaves, raising concerns about whether it was thoroughly washed. It also felt a bit skimpy, especially with only half an egg included. I unfortunately chose the wrong dish for myself—which is on me—but the portion was surprisingly small, especially considering the large plate it was served on. Flavour-wise, it was underwhelming. For our mains, the steak had to be sent back, though the flavour was good once corrected. The eggs were slightly too runny for our taste, and a bit more bread would have made the dish more complete. The risotto was another letdown—both in terms of portion and flavour. It lacked depth, though the pickled onions added a small spark of interest. Dessert didn’t fare much better. There was a mix-up with our order, and we had to choose an alternate option. The cakes appeared to have been refrigerated for a while, lacking that fresh-from-the-bakery feel. Food-wise, it just didn’t hit the mark. I genuinely wanted to enjoy the meal, but unfortunately, it was a miss this time.

I typically go here every time I go to the ROM. They only do brunch but the food and vibes are amazing. Over the years the food and menu has changed but is consistently good! At the moment I defs recommend the mushroom crockets or eggplant fatteh. It’s such a unique place I always bring friends visiting town here and they love it! One thing I recommend is making a reservation. Most brunch places don’t, so I find this as a benefit so I can avoid waiting around for a spot. Defs returning soon!
