5 Star Rating Me and my girlfriend visited Morton’s for our anniversary and I should say what a classic this place is! We were helped by Athena, who was amazing in walking us through the menu. They also put anniversary cards in our menus and served us complimentary chocolate lava cake at the end which was so nice and thoughtful. (And oh, the cake was so delicious. We were full but still finished the cake). We ordered bone-in ribeye and French onion soup. The bone-in ribeye cooked medium would just fall off the bone . We got garlic butter on the side which was a nice touch and French onion soup was just so warm and fresh and tasty. Their in-house bread with the butter was also so freshly made and. All around amazing night with thoughtful staff and delicious food!

4 Star Rating I went here for a friends birthday and overall was a pleasant experience. I had the ribeye steak with lobster Mac & cheese and it was fairly good. I would definitely choose a sauce next time to enhance the taste of the steak because the flavour was slightly underwhelming. Mac & cheese was tasty but wish they added some more shrimp Waiter was extremely nice and welcoming and the overall service was very good. Definitely on the pricier side for what is given but somewhat expected for a spot downtown

5 Star Rating We visited Morton’s The Steakhouse in Toronto for the first time on Sunday to celebrate my husband Gord’s birthday, and the entire experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was elegant and welcoming, however what made the night absolutely exceptional was the outstanding service we received. Our server, Chelsea, and the Assistant Manager Brady Hudspeth went above and beyond to make us feel special. They were not only attentive and professional but so warm and personable—true ambassadors of the Morton’s brand. Chelsea and Brady made us feel like we were returning regulars rather than first-time guests. Their care and enthusiasm made the evening one of the best we’ve ever had! We had just come from the theatre and went for dinner and drinks and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations. It honestly felt like coming home. Because of Chelsea and Brady, we will definitely be returning customers! If you’re thinking of dining at Morton’s The Steakhouse (Toronto) do yourself a favour and ask for Chelsea and Brady. You won’t be disappointed—they are simply spectacular and will make your night one to remember. Kudos to Brady and Chelsea and congratulations to Morton’s for employing and empowering such fabulous staff. It is this type of culture that ensures repeat business and success. Thank you Margaret Maloney

3 Star Rating We visited Morton’s Steakhouse in downtown Toronto as a family of four on Valentine’s night. The valet parking was convenient and reasonably priced (around $20–$25 plus tip), which made arriving stress-free. Our server provided excellent customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made an effort to connect with both us and our kids. His recommendations for the kids were thoughtful and appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience at the entrance was not what we expected from an upscale restaurant. As we arrived, a verbal dispute broke out between a couple without a reservation and the hostess. A gentleman from the staff stepped in to assist, but the argument continued in front of other guests, including children. While it seemed the guests initiated the conflict, the situation could have been handled more professionally and discreetly. We were seated upstairs, and I would not recommend that area. It felt quiet, isolated, and lacked the lively, upscale ambiance you’d expect at a place like Morton’s. If you’re planning to go, definitely ask to be seated on the first floor, the atmosphere there seemed much more enjoyable. As for the food, it did not meet our expectations, especially for a high-end steakhouse on a special occasion. The steaks were underwhelming and lacked the flavor and tenderness we were hoping for. The salad was also disappointing, the lettuce was wilted and didn’t taste fresh. Even considering how busy Valentine’s night can be, that doesn’t justify the drop in food quality. Overall, while we appreciated the great service from our waiter and the convenience of valet parking, the food, seating, and front-door incident left us with a less-than-satisfying experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend Morton’s based on our visit.

4 Star Rating Earlier this fall was our first time at Mortons. The food was incredible, unfortunately, our service experience was not this instance. To the restaurant's credit- once we shared this with them (after the fact) they were very generous in providing an opportunity to correct this experience, which was used and showed their 5 star worthiness later on. Pro tip- order gift cards online at Costco ahead of time. Salad portions are quite large (picture is a half portion). Environment was quite loud and tables were very close together compared to my other steakhouse experiences.

4 Star Rating I recently visited this restaurant and had a generally pleasant experience. The atmosphere was inviting, with a nice ambiance that made it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The location is convenient, adding to its appeal. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a positive dining experience. I ordered the Jambalaya, and while it was decent, I found the portion to be smaller than expected, and the flavor was just average. However, the other dishes we tried were quite good, making up for the slight disappointment with the Jambalaya. It was a bit busy during my visit, but the service remained efficient. Overall, this is a solid restaurant that I would recommend for a visit, especially for those looking to enjoy a variety of dishes in a pleasant setting.

4 Star Rating Hemingway’s is a vibrant spot that delivers on both atmosphere and flavor. From the moment you walk in, the energy is welcoming and upbeat, making it a great place for a meal or a night out. The food is outstanding—especially the fish and chips and the fish tacos, which were both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lively setting with very good food and top-notch service. 4 Star Rating Great place to start learning history of porcelain and ceramics. This museum has vast collection of ceramics and porcelain variants from all over the world. This museum makes you realise the rich history of porcelain and ceramics that if had over high class society in europe, china and japan. They show how it started as secret art from china, copied and made varient by japan, and subsequently ended up in european high class hands, who regarded it as treasure and started collecting it to show off. The best time to visit this museum would be after October 2025. As renovations are due, some if items are placed in storage house which public have no access to.

5 Star Rating We had a wonderful experience at this genuine Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing the service was unbelievable everyone was so kind and welcoming. The owner himself came out to meet us and made sure that we were well taken care, he was so kind he gave us a tour and told us about the history of the restaurant. I’ve been to Italy a handful of times and I felt like I was dining there. The ambiance was authentic and felt so warm and cozy. We also tried some of the wines that are bottled in house and that was just a beautiful bonus. I’m a huge foodie so this was right up my alley for best Italian in Toronto. I’ll be a regular now.

The Diavola pizza was great; fresh homemade taste with nice flavor. It has a slight spicy kick to it. We really enjoyed the pizza. The Tortellini Alla Panna was also amazing. Tastes fresh and homemade, and the sauce was made to perfection. The Burrata was also very fresh and was a great choice as a light appetizer. The service was awesome. Friendly and welcoming staff. We really enjoyed the authentic ambience of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and a full bar.

3 Star Rating It's a very smart and comfortable lounge. The service was fantastic and the drinks were ok. Sadly, I did tell the server we were a tad disappointed by the $18 "happy hour" pizza - it seemed to look like something from the Shoppers frozen aisle (and tasted worse). He kindly offered us some desserts but we declined. He mentioned that their other food is better, so I don't want to judge the place too harshly based on the pizza (see picture). For the restaurant: there are many great pubs and bars downtown selling happy hour pizzas, home made, for $10... Edna and Vita is a good example.

4 Star Rating Went on a valentine’s date to Bar Reyna. And I am really glad I did. We had a great time - the place was very cute (but the music a bit too loud), the service was very good (special shout out to our amazing server ABC!). The food was also very good - i am still drooling over their Lamb Baklava, which was one of the most tasty and interesting dishes I’ve ever had. The meat dishes overall were quite good, and the greek fries were delicious too. Sadly i was not so convinced by their calamari (a tiny bit overcooked, but still good). Will definitely go again to have those sweet&savoury lamb baklavas (and try other dishes!)

5 Star Rating Shakshuka was great! Fries were almost cut like potato matchsticks or shredded-style hash browns (very thin). I still liked them but mentioning for those who are particular about their fries! Enjoyed it with an Estrella beer (beer in bottles, none on tap). They have plenty of cocktails on the menu which seems more their vibe but they do warn that it'll take some time to craft, naturally. Very friendly service. Our server was bubbly, chatty, and attentive. Enclosed patio in the back with lots of natural sunlight and space heaters. Having said that, it is still drafty/chilly and not evenly heated, so dress accordingly!! It was about -10C outside on our visit and my feet got quite cold by the end of our meal. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy so all patrons were on the back patio. They also have seating inside the main part of the building (where you first enter off Cumberland) but I saw blankets so I imagine it can be drafty inside too. Would return but maybe on a warmer day!

4 Star Rating Came by for brunch on Father’s Day. We ordered the Reyna salad, lamb shank Benny, salmon board and Greek fries. The food was generally okay, but something I noticed is the hot food arrived a little lukewarm. The cold dishes also weren’t as flavourful as we would have liked. (I’ve previously been here recently for dinner and recall that being pretty delicious. So, I wonder if it’s just the brunch items needing some work.) The food aside, the back patio was very comfortable and the table service excellent. I booked a reservation expecting a crowd based on past experiences, but the restaurant was surprisingly empty for a weekend brunch.

3 Star Rating We had lunch here for Mother’s Day. The restaurant itself is clean with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, though understandably busy for the occasion. Service was attentive, but our food did take a while to arrive. We started with coffee, which was excellent. As for the special Mother’s Day menu, it left room for improvement. The salad looked appealing, but the lettuce was served in large clumped leaves, raising concerns about whether it was thoroughly washed. It also felt a bit skimpy, especially with only half an egg included. I unfortunately chose the wrong dish for myself—which is on me—but the portion was surprisingly small, especially considering the large plate it was served on. Flavour-wise, it was underwhelming. For our mains, the steak had to be sent back, though the flavour was good once corrected. The eggs were slightly too runny for our taste, and a bit more bread would have made the dish more complete. The risotto was another letdown—both in terms of portion and flavour. It lacked depth, though the pickled onions added a small spark of interest. Dessert didn’t fare much better. There was a mix-up with our order, and we had to choose an alternate option. The cakes appeared to have been refrigerated for a while, lacking that fresh-from-the-bakery feel. Food-wise, it just didn’t hit the mark. I genuinely wanted to enjoy the meal, but unfortunately, it was a miss this time.
