I love going to The Keg for the Keg Classics Baseball Top Sirloin which is served with choice of salad (I chose Caesar salad), sautéed mushrooms, seasonal vegetables (beets & green beans) and choice of accompaniment (I chose the garlic mashed potatoes). The first time I ever had this steak I had it med-rare (they only cook it med-rare or rarer) and it was phenomenal(!!!) and thus I converted from the prime rib to the baseball steak and now it’s all I eat at The Keg. However, I’ve been noticing lately that, regardless of location, my steak isn’t quite as great as the first time so now I’m thinking it’s time to try rare(?). So that being said, my steak was good but maybe not cooked quite to my liking. Everything else was really tasty. The service was professional and our food arrived in really good time after we placed our orders. There were 9 in our party with one of us having a birthday that day and the server was kind enough to bring us two slices of Billy Miner pie - which, of course is always so delicious! I had a red wine sangria which was really nice! All the staff that we encountered from hostess to servers and other staff in the restaurant were very warm & friendly. The atmosphere was nice - warm snd cozy, typical of The Keg.

The Keg on York Street has such a great vibe—it’s easy to see why it’s so highly rated. I sat on the back patio, which is mostly covered, so even with a bit of rain, you’re still comfortable. Although Toronto’s weather has been exceptionally beautiful for the past three or four weeks, the covered patio is a nice bonus. There’s also a TV there for watching sports, which is a great touch. I ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops, and they were absolutely out of this world—cooked perfectly. The cocktail sauce served alongside was unbelievable. Even though I’m not usually a cocktail sauce fan, The Keg really nailed it. Both Ashley and Ryan, who were working the bar, did a terrific job. They were pleasant, courteous, and genuine, taking the time to answer all my questions. Thank you, Ashley and Ryan, for elevating the entire experience!

Absolutely loved our Happy Hour at The Keg🍹 The patio is huge and has such a lively vibe. Staff are all super hardworking, and Emma, our server, was truly incredible. She handled our ever-growing group with ease and made sure everyone was taken care of. Cocktails were top-notch and the food was, as always, delicious. I’ve visited this restaurant twice in the past two weeks, and both times, I came in for the thali—such great value for money! The portions are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious. What really stood out to me was the service. The server was extremely kind and even accommodated a switch in my thali since I don’t eat palak paneer, which I honestly wasn’t expecting. That little gesture made the experience even better! If you’re in the area and craving Indian food, I highly recommend checking this place out. I’m already looking forward to trying their lunch specials next

My partner and I were visiting from NY and had an INCREDIBLE meal here!! We love Indian food and this is some of the best we have ever had. The dine for two special was an amazing deal with so much food - Appetizer, 3 entrees and naan. The pakora were so crispy and flavorful, the butter chicken was to die for and the service and ambience was excellent. I only wish I lived here so I could go again!!

The staff at Little India are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. You sometimes receive special treatment when they offer complimentary items; it really made the experience feel personal and thoughtful. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish tastes like heaven! In my opinion, it's the best Indian food in Toronto. The manager (or possibly he is the owner) is a lovely gentleman who ensures every guest feels at home. He is warm and attentive. I genuinely love everything about this place. No complaints at all, just a perfect dining experience every time. The prices are reasonable as well.

I recently visited Volo’s Greek Restaurant with my family for a birthday celebration, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding — the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was full of flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was served beautifully and on time. We had such a lovely time, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend Volos for anyone looking for authentic Greek food.

Not only is this a beautiful restaurant downtown, but the food is amazing. If you’re lucky you’ll get Mimosa as a waitress and you’ll walk away feeling like you just were at a small family gathering on a Greek island. Went for a girls night out during Nuit Blanche. We walked in and they found us a cute window table with ease. There was a large party which looked festive and well taken care of. We had amazing service, cocktails were yummy (Aegean Sea and Greek Margarita!), smooth and flavourful hummus and pita for appetizers but the mains were the main attraction (chicken and warm Greek seafood salad). When we go back, we will be trying other menu items. Had dessert (baklava cheesecake) and they served a complimentary mousse the birthday girl. Ended the evening with a perfect cappuccino. So happy with everything at the restaurant. Thank you Volos and staff for bringing back quality, service and value to the dining experience.

Love Planta Queen! Been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience or food! My husband has an onion allergy and they were so accommodating to his allergy. Service is always good and friendly! And of course the food is delicious!

this is probably the best vegan food ive ever had. the bang bang broccoli literally shivered my timbers and so did the cauliflower wings. the summer rolls were nice and refreshing and the tuna sushi was UNCANNY to real tuna in sushi. it was insane. THE BEST PART BY FAR WAS THE BANNING PUDDING IT WAS LIKE A CLOUD. amazing restaurant highly recommend to anyone (lots of options)

Went in for a quick lunch before leaving canada. Wish I took the time to go here earlier during my trip. Quick and reliable service. We got our food within 20min. The best I dining experience during my trip. And the food was amazing, really top-tier. Great presentation, lovely flavours and great ingredients. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

The Food was Amazing. We ordered Dragon Sushi and it was really good. Bang Bang broccoli was heavy but again really good in taste. I think the food was good for the price so is quantity. Atmosphere - 5 star Service - Waitress and Staff were really good but their computer system were down (Not blaming restaurant) but it made little chaos in order. There were nice enough to provide dessert on the house. One thing to note here is that: they do not allowed cakes from outside specially if it is not Vegan. If you are going for birthday celebrations maybe call them and ask them which cake they will be okay with.

Unreal. Some of the best food I've eaten anywhere in a very, very long time. Service is fantastic as well. It's making me very sad to have only come on the last day of my visit to Canada and that I have to fly away soon. I'll be thinking about the food here for years. Absolutely incredible.

Had the tagliatelle bolognese and the lamb ragu pappardeli. Bolognese seemed over, and wasn't that great (chilli flakes were a nice touch). The lamb ragu was alright. It took 40+ minutes for our food to arrive even though the restaurant was largely empty (less than 50% capacity) and it was over an hour before closing. The waitress seemed a bit pissy when I asked about the price of the charcuterie board, which was the only app priced per person.

Updated July 2025- One of those places we keep coming back to—and it’s firmly staying in our favorites list. This summer, they’re offering a $72 per person 3-course dinner menu, and honestly, every dish is worth ordering—just like we remembered. My personal go-to combo: calamari, stewed beef, and the tiramisu (absolute THE BEST A cozy space, soft-spoken guests, and consistently fresh, well-prepared dishes—no wonder we keep coming back. —- Just discovered the best tiramisu in town! It's so good, I'd visit just for this dessert – no exaggeration. Every dish is worth trying, from the fresh green salad to the creamy risotto. Came here the other day for dinner, it is a cute restaurant located very centrally downtown. The food was good, I had the lamb ragu along with calamari along with a bottle of Ripasso Falezza (Italian red wine), all of which I would recommend. It wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday evening and was overall a very pleasant dining experience.

We recently took part in the Summerlicious menu at Ruth’s Chris, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Some of us went for the steak, others for the chicken—and both dishes were truly out of this world. The garlic crust on the steak was the perfect finishing touch and made it unforgettable. What really elevated the experience was the exceptional service provided by Mike. He was not only courteous and professional, but also added a fun touch with some great one-liner jokes that kept the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend giving it a go—you won’t be disappointed!

Took the opportunity to try with Summerlicious. The food was high quality with the steak being the star of the show. There’s no comparing it to places like The Keg. The steak was quite tender and flavorful. Be careful, they’re not kidding when they say all their steaks sizzle. The plate is scalding hot as they heat it up to 500 degrees celcius. The side’s portion size was huge. The service was attentive and friendly. The staff re-filled water glasses frequently and came over to check if any help was required. The only thing is the interior decor is a bit dated, but it’s not a major detractor. Definitely a good choice to try during Summerlicious if you’ve never been to Ruth’s Chris.

Haven’t been to this location in years so thought to drop by for their happy hour before our game. Location is dated and could use a bit of a refresh to make it a bit more inviting as the bar area felt a bit too dark and uninviting. It was quite empty when we dropped by and was surprised that the food took a bit longer than expected. We ordered the steak sandwich and while tasty I felt that it was warm and a bit soggy. I’m a regular at their DTM location so I felt the friendliness of service and food quality didn’t quite compare but still a pleasant experience.

Celebrated an engagement dinner with my family here, and had a decent experience overall. I think it depends on the demographic, what you’re looking for, and where your expectations are at in terms of what your experience might be here. The overall vibe of the restaurant I will say for my taste is on the traditional side, and feels dated. When we came in, the dining room was pretty empty. It was dim throughout most of the restaurant and the décor and furniture gave it an old-fashioned look and feel, for better or worse. There were portions of the restaurant that felt a bit like a sports bar with TV’s playing sports content, so it took away from the cohesiveness of an elevated experience. The staff are friendly and approachable. One of the staff who wasn’t our main server (maybe a busser?), interacted with our table a few times by pouring water and whatnot and was just a bit clumsy with the service. He would pour water and ice cubes would spill across my menu and he wouldn’t notice. Our main server was sociable and gave us good recommendations with our dinner. I appreciate her effort with taking care of our group from packing our leftover food for us and taking photos of our group for us, arranging for a dessert with a ‘Congratulations’ message on it, etc. The food was okay. The calamari with the sweet and spicy chili sauce ($29) as well as the Shrimp Voodoo ($35) were at a certain level where I would have expected them to come out of maybe a pub. They were okay, but they don’t come across as refined dishes. Maybe that’s the intent, but the price tag on these dishes suggests otherwise. I had the ribeye steak ($98), and it was cooked fine in terms of doneness. My issue with this is that considering how abundantly marbled a ribeye already is, it can be pretty overwhelming to have all that butter they put on top. I usually like to have the fatty parts of the steak a bit too, but the butter made it pretty hard to get into that. I also had their apple crumble for dessert. Their desserts are the size of entrees – not sure why. It feels overwhelming at the end of a meal, but that’s good value anyway I guess. It was decent, and my only feedback on it would be to portion it more appropriately that people have typically already had a full meal ahead of their dessert and is looking for something sweet to cap off the meal. I think this place is probably more popular for a specific demographic that’s looking for a more old fashioned/ traditional restaurant. I think the sports bar aspects that I mentioned conflict with that a bit and may be trying to appeal to two different demographics at once. For the amount that we paid for our dinner, I can’t recommend this place and feel like there are many other notable restaurants in the city that would have provided a more refined experience and better food.

Came here for my birthday, was not disappointed! We particularly love the scallops and their salmon here, melts in your mouth, feels really fresh and taste quite a bit nicer than your average sushi place. And of course with great quality and service comes a greater price tag, more on the pricier side, but not outrageously expensive. We sat on the floating sushi boat bar, and the quality of the sushi is still very good, despite not being made right out from the kitchen, still tasted fresh. Also tried the Udon and wasn’t disappointed, the broth especially smells really nice. Would definitely come back on special occasions!

Fun experience with decent sushi but lacking in that wow factor for the price. You are paying a premium for the experience of having one of, if not, the only conveyor belt boat sushi restaurant experiences in Toronto. Service was satisfactory and attentive but expected for the price. Sushi variety was average with some exotic options and a range of drink and sake selections at all price points. Each plate is between $4.50 to $8.50 for two pieces, on average. Higher priced items like uni are also available. The uni was tasty enough but not from Japanese waters. I would return annually for the floating boat (Fune) experience, not for the price or quality of fish.

The service and quality of the food we received was great. It was a little on the pricier side but worth it. The experience was great especially seeing their rotating sushi boat system. I would highly recommend this place if you want fast service and quality food.

Quite an expensive place. But it’s a fun experience to sit around a turning table full of boats on water carrying sushi. They also have a menu where you can order more expensive items like the fatty tuna. The fatty tuna sushi is quite nice, but the sashimi is not that fat. Meaning it’s a lower quality cut of the tuna.

For sushi that's high quality and consistently good, come here. The floating sushi bar is cool and the selection that comes around is great. And if you want something that doesn't float on by, just order it off the menu. Service here has always been great during all my visits. The waitresses are prompt and attentive and the food comes out quickly. Prices here are reasonable too considering the quality you're getting. This isn't your all-you-can-eat quality here. Overall, one of the best sushi options in the city in my opinion. And considering this place has been around since the early 90s, others must think so too.

Neat hole in the wall. A zillion choices on the menu. Its confusing as there is a "meal" option... but its not a "meal" as in you get a side and a drink, its just the portion size. My food was piping hot, fresh and made perfect. They have 80s glam rock/hair bands playing.

Decent poutine. The toppings were great. We tried the shawarma and the philly cheesesteak and they were both good. The fries were a little burned but overall it was still good. The guy working there was very nice. I think it’s worth a try.

Kids love the word "aura" these days, and when my dad asked me what it means I told him "think Soho House 2010-2014." That confused him more but I like messing with my dad. Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there… but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here… please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Excellent spot with great vibes for a meeting or for casual hang with friends (as long as your friends have membership to Soho House IYKYK 😁). We had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was delicious, service impeccable. They also have a great selection of food for our vegetarian and gluten-free friends. The roasted salmon was seasoned well, and most importantly had crispy skin - yum! My colleague was very pleased with his zza, by the look on his face. Delicious and a well-cooked undercarriage! We’ll definitely be back if our friend invites us to hangout there again! 😁

My wife has been a member of the Soho house Toronto for 2 years now and I always enjoy visiting with her as a guest! Today was a fabulous brunch with friends for a birthday. We had the pleasure of being served by Karen, who was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to the table was diligent and swift. The food... WOW! I enjoyed the cold buffet, with fruit, cold cuts and an assortment of dishes. Followed by the most amazing fried chicken, macaroni and back bacon. My wife always indulges in the salmon, seafood and oysters. While my toddler ate more selection than I could keep track of. The freshly made crepes at the end, sealed my stomach with a kiss! I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend anyone that’s considering becoming a member!!! UPDATE!!! Just spent New Year’s Eve 2020(Phantom of the Opera theme) with our friends on the first floor. Photo booth, live singing and performances!!! The “2020 vision” drink was amazing and the music was on point ALL NIGHT!!! We had the most amazing “ring in the new year” experience!
