This is a solid place.. not much negative (except maybe the atmosphere - this is not a place you go looking to have a fun night out). Food is good. Steak was very well done- tasty and cooked perfectly to the requirement of medium rare. Service was very good.. attentive and friendly. Good value for money

We got a cesar salad, crab cake and the 8oz sirloin oscar to share. The cesar salad and crab cake were great. The sirloin oscar was quite delicious, although we wished it had a bit more sauce.
They also served us a warm bread with butter. We love the warm breads from all our other visits but this time, the butter was different. It wasn’t the regular salted butter which we were used to. This butter had some seasoning bits in it and it tasted a little sour. Not that great.
Otherwise, a decent visit to the Keg! If visiting on a Friday or the weekend, don’t forget to make a reservation. They’re usually full, even for seats at the bar. We had a good time, we’ll definitely be back to try other items.

We went to this Keg for dinner last week after the ballet. Given it was on a Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy and noisy which hindered the quality of service and atmosphere. Wait times between getting the appetizers and entrees were so long we lost our appetites before we even ate our meals. The fried calamari which we always order at the keg was not great this time as it had too much batter and was not crispy. The bacon wrapped scallops were great. The steak was cooked well, however the fries and mushrooms were cold. Overall, I would avoid this location during peak hours/weekends as the high customer traffic clearly hinders the experience. If you are in the downtown area, I recommend going to the keg mansion as they have better service, food quality and atmosphere.

Ordered Caesar salad and onion soup for appetizer. Onion soup was well made and ceasar salad was fresh.
Lamb shank was perfectly braised, fell of the bone. Gravy was expertly made and flavourful.
Prime rib was ok. I actually expected more.
Although it was a mid week night and not too crowded, the service was slow and we had to wait long for some garlic mayo.

Excellent food always and great service....was there with friends for birthday celebrations. Manager came around asking all diners how everything is at each table...told her about birthday celebrations for 2 ppl in our group....at end of the meal...we got free birthday ice cream cakes for the 2 birthday pals. So nice!

Amazing customer service 😊!
Very friendly and great vibed waiters. 🔥🔥
Prices are fair and Food was good, I just wish our table was a little bigger. As a first time customer, we ordered the Dine for Two and we were not disappointed. We were served a combination of Non- Veg and Veg dishes .
Over all, this visit is definitely a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Authentic and traditional Indian food that is so delicious. This is my favourite place for butter chicken in Toronto! I usually order sides of garlic naan and steamed basmati rice. The combo dinner for two is a great option if you're very hungry. Excellent service.
Reservations are accepted. We were walk-ins on a Saturday night at 6 pm and there was no wait to get a table for two, but the restaurant was pretty busy.

This is my second time coming here and it was a GREAT experience!
Price is very reasonable and portions are great. The flavours were awesome and the service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive, fast and never let our water cups go empty haha. Food was fresh and tasted great. My "go to" at Indian restaurants are the Lamb Vindaloo with Garlic/ Butter Naan and Aloo Paratha (basically a thin roti stuffed with potatoes and spices). This restaurant definitely did it well. I requested the Lamb Vindaloo to be extra spicy and I can assure you the chef DELIVEREDDD. The lamb was extremely tender and the curry itself was rich, spicy, and packed with flavour. We also ordered the Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chicken Briyani which were also great. But the Extra Spicy Lamb Vindaloo was definitely irresistible.
Truly saying, great food, great vibes, great staff. Will most definitely be comming back again. Thank you for a great experience!

Volos was amazing! it was our first time here and everything was lovely. From food to service it was 5/5! Our servers Jamie & Mimosa were great, very friendly and attentive to our table. Food was delicious and overall atmosphere was great. The manger Maria came over to our table and we chatted a bit and she was lovely as well. 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves greek food & great service!

Their seafood stew and grilled lamb chops are soo good!!!
Highly recommend! 🤩

Only tried the sea food at Volos and was very impressed. The sea bass was cooked to perfection. The serving of potatoes left was lacklustre but the salad made up for it along with the table bread. Overall value is good but not great.

We made a reservation for a group business lunch - we arrived a bit late but fortunately there were no problems with our reservation. We were seated and served promptly which was great given the size of our group. The food quality was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant was a bit loud with the other patrons which the restaurant could not control but it did take away from the atmosphere a bit. The staff let us take our time and did not rush us out after we finished our meal and paid the bill which was great service.
I would definitely come back again in the future.

Great food.. and service is good as well. The Dan-Dan noodles and sushi are totally worth it. The sushi has been well- crafted with great to taste and flavour. It indeed is a haven for sushi- lovers, especially on Mondays. 😃they have sushi for quite a price . Must try.. even Japan doesn’t serve such a delight of vegan sushi. It’s such a steal, this place.

I was excited to try this plant-based restaurant but I was a bit disappointed. I found the food a bit plain. My comments would be ; sauce too liquid for the chicken mushroom, not enough sauce in the bao, way too much kamut topping in the dan dan noodles. Sushis were good, and garlic fried rice was good as well but 24$ is a lot for rice, even with truffle. I also had a dirty martini which wasn’t dirty at all, tasted way too much of alcohol. I unfortunately wouldn’t go back to Planta. Space is nice tho and service was on point.

Not sure what happened. I usually get a perfect sushi box. This time it seemed like it was made by someone new or untrained? Or just made in a rush. There was barely any wasabi ginger, the crispy rice was not put together properly. The other rolls seemed a bit off. There were ingredients missing. The dragon one was too salty, the torched one wasn’t torched or pressed. The avocado was raw. Oh wow so many problems!

This place has DELICIOUS vegan and vegetarian Asian food. This is my first plant-based restaurant and WOW! I was very impressed by the variety of dishes, and how tasty they were!
We came here for a company dinner, and our server was so kind and attentive. He took a group photo for us amid the dinner rush! He also informed that most dishes on their menu came on shareable platters. So, we ordered most of their menu to try together!
The Bang Bang Broccoli, creamy Udon Noodles, 1,000 Crispy Layer Potatoes and the Avocado Lime Tartare were my favourite dishes by far. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, being sleek, spacious and modern. The kitchen is slightly open-concept, as you can see right through the large windows to see the chefs hard at work.
This place has a great selection of delicious and healthy dishes that accommodate both vegetarian and vegan diets. I definitely recommend coming here with a group of friends so you can share a bunch of yummy bites!

Asian fusion vegan food at its finest. Everything we had was incredible in taste, textures and presentation. It’s impressive the range of food interpretations they can create completely vegan i.e vegan caviar made from kelp that could have fooled me to be the real thing. Favourites included the bang bang brocolli, fried to crispy perfection, and the Japanese sweet potato that melted in the mouth with surprising bits of crunch. Very good cocktail menu as well.

The food was ok. The burrata was pretty good. Shrimp cocktail that came out were undercooked, we were unable to eat them. The staff was nice about getting us new ones. The rest of the food was just ok.

Just discovered the best tiramisu in town! It's so good, I'd visit just for this dessert – no exaggeration. Every dish is worth trying, from the fresh green salad to the creamy risotto. This spot is my new go-to for celebrations or when I'm feeling fancy. Perfect for a special date night with a touch of elegance. #TiramisuHeaven #CulinaryDelight #DateNightGoals

I’ve lived in this area for 10 years and always have heard good things about this place so I finally checked it out for lunch. It’s baby friendly as they provided a high chair, and it was perfectly quiet to catch up with a friend. Apparently, Fridays in August are their quietest time! It’s what I was looking for so it was great. Food was very good, I tried the braised beef ravioli, my friends had sea food dishes that they enjoyed. Cute place, I would return for dinner. Also in a great location near the Eaton Centre.

Great first time experience. We went for their winterlicious menu and it did not disappoint. The service and food was excellent from start to finish. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Food came out hot and was cooked to perfection. The steak was still sizzling when it came out, so delicious. We got the calamari to start and it had great flavour. We were seated in a quiet area, it was great for celebrating an anniversary. Thank you Ruth’s Chris Steak House for making it special. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others!!

Good food but a bit too expensive. I ordered half a dozen of oysters, fillet mignon with a half side of asparagus, crab cakes, 9 oz white wine, 2 manhattans and 1 martini. The bill was 300+ CAD. In terms of taste, the oysters weren’t too big but super fresh. The steak was brought out too rare, so they took it back and delivered a perfect medium rare, it was brought out by one of the managers who was courteous and kind. The lady who served me was also very nice, I believe her name was Lydia. The crab cakes were very nice and so were the cocktails, especially their Ruth’s Manhattan. No problems with the food but, compared to other steakhouses in Toronto, every dish and drink could easily be reduced by 5-10 CAD.

FOOD: very good bread and butter.
• Sizzling Crab Cake: I don't think the sizzling part make the crab cake become any different, it's already a good crab cake. I guess to make it more fancy. Lots of crab that I think it should be called crab balls rather than crab cake.
• Caesar Salad: great portion, they made very good dressing and I could tell the cheese is great quality.
• Ribeye: I'd recommend this is for share as it's relatively big piece of steak. It's seared in butter and it's still sizzling hot when served. There's lots of butter so the steak stay juicy and warm until the end.
DRINKS:
• Raspberry Rosemary Cosmo: fruity and quite sweet.
• Blueberry Spice Mojito: the drink is huge, refreshing and fruity.
SERVICE: I was surprised that the kitchen divided all the food in half when we said we shared the food. The steak was served by 3 servers, everything was still burning hot when it reach the table. Service was 10/10.
VIBE: the place was almost dead empty, the vibe was upscaled but a bit cold so it doesn't seem very welcome.

Loved the experience at Ruth's Chris Downtown Toronto. We ordered the16 oz ribeye, 16 NY strip, Creamed spinach, potato au gratin, and lobster Mac and cheese. These were the perfect pairing for the rich and perfectly cooked usda beef that was both rich and succulent. The service was attentive, humorous and thoughtful. An amazing experience overall and definitely worth the visit! 💕

Food is always amazing at Ruth’s Chris! It was our first time at this location, and as soon as we got off the elevator, we were welcomed so warmly with smiles from all the staff. Being pregnant, I’m limited with what I can have, and I appreciate how accommodating the staff was. Thank you for the amazing food and service experience during our babymoon 🙂

Came here for my birthday, was not disappointed! We particularly love the scallops and their salmon here, melts in your mouth, feels really fresh and taste quite a bit nicer than your average sushi place. And of course with great quality and service comes a greater price tag, more on the pricier side, but not outrageously expensive. We sat on the floating sushi boat bar, and the quality of the sushi is still very good, despite not being made right out from the kitchen, still tasted fresh. Also tried the Udon and wasn’t disappointed, the broth especially smells really nice.
Would definitely come back on special occasions!

Fun experience with decent sushi but lacking in that wow factor for the price. You are paying a premium for the experience of having one of, if not, the only conveyor belt boat sushi restaurant experiences in Toronto. Service was satisfactory and attentive but expected for the price. Sushi variety was average with some exotic options and a range of drink and sake selections at all price points. Each plate is between $4.50 to $8.50 for two pieces, on average. Higher priced items like uni are also available. The uni was tasty enough but not from Japanese waters. I would return annually for the floating boat (Fune) experience, not for the price or quality of fish.
Bryan Crisp - 5 years ago
The service and quality of the food we received was great. It was a little on the pricier side but worth it. The experience was great especially seeing their rotating sushi boat system.
I would highly recommend this place if you want fast service and quality food.
Janice J - 6 years ago
Quite an expensive place. But it’s a fun experience to sit around a turning table full of boats on water carrying sushi. They also have a menu where you can order more expensive items like the fatty tuna. The fatty tuna sushi is quite nice, but the sashimi is not that fat. Meaning it’s a lower quality cut of the tuna.
Wen Z - 4 years ago
For sushi that's high quality and consistently good, come here. The floating sushi bar is cool and the selection that comes around is great. And if you want something that doesn't float on by, just order it off the menu.
Service here has always been great during all my visits. The waitresses are prompt and attentive and the food comes out quickly. Prices here are reasonable too considering the quality you're getting. This isn't your all-you-can-eat quality here.
Overall, one of the best sushi options in the city in my opinion. And considering this place has been around since the early 90s, others must think so too.

My go-to place for a poutine. I came here last night for a country style poutine. The worker packed it with toppings and gravy 👍 can't go wrong. FYI pictures not great because I took it to go.
Nice worker and place is clean as usual. I noticed they added a tater tot option which I will need to try 😄
Kyle Francis - 5 months ago
Food: We had the traditional poutine - a single regular size was enough for two people. There are a lot of different options so you should be able to find something you like here. The traditional poutine was very well executed, with rich, flavorsome gravy, a good amount of cheese curds, and good fries.
Service: The service was quick and friendly. It's counter-serve, so there isn't really much else to say there. However, when we visited, they were out of most drinks, which was a bit disappointing.
Atmosphere: It's fine - simple fast food vibes, pretty much.

We came here around 930pm.
The eating area was pretty clean but the overall feel of the place seemed not clean.
The person taking our order was constantly trying to up sell us on a poutine that we weren't interested in getting.
Nothing wrong with the food, exactly as advertised.

I have been hired by Soho House for many years to read tarot and astrology readings for guests for Halloween Events-yes, THAT event, with Prince Harry and Meghan in costumes in 2016 and other years and many New Year's Eve Party events. I love the atmosphere; it's in an old, nicely haunted house in downtown Toronto. I've dined on their delicious cuisine there with friends there and attended Astrology Zone's Susan Miller's lecture on Astrology. I got to meet her, and we became acquaintances as mutual Astrology lovers and writers. You will love it, it affords the opportunity to hob knob with exclusive members.

My wife has been a member of the Soho house Toronto for 2 years now and I always enjoy visiting with her as a guest! Today was a fabulous brunch with friends for a birthday. We had the pleasure of being served by Karen, who was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to the table was diligent and swift. The food... WOW! I enjoyed the cold buffet, with fruit, cold cuts and an assortment of dishes. Followed by the most amazing fried chicken, macaroni and back bacon. My wife always indulges in the salmon, seafood and oysters. While my toddler ate more selection than I could keep track of. The freshly made crepes at the end, sealed my stomach with a kiss! I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend anyone that’s considering becoming a member!!!
UPDATE!!! Just spent New Year’s Eve 2020(Phantom of the Opera theme) with our friends on the first floor. Photo booth, live singing and performances!!! The “2020 vision” drink was amazing and the music was on point ALL NIGHT!!! We had the most amazing “ring in the new year” experience!
