The food tasted great!! The prime rib was very tender (we ordered medium rare), however was a little bit too salty for my liking. Service was awesome. The mains took a while but it was understandable as it was peak dinner hours (7:30pm).
One thing worth noting was we were brought to the corner at the back but our waiter was really attentive so that didn’t turn out to be a huge problem.
Would definitely come back again!

For appetizers, we ordered shrimp, and it was much tastier than I expected. Honestly, it was so good that I even forgot to take a photo of it.
I ordered a steak, which in my opinion was just average because it didn’t have a special flavor. The meat quality was good and tender, but it lacked taste. Some steaks are really rich and flavorful, but this one wasn’t very flavorful to me.
We also ordered lobster, but since I didn’t eat it myself, I can’t really comment on it.
Another point is that, unlike some places where food arrives cold, here the food came to the table really hot, and I really appreciated that.
I really liked the restaurant’s atmosphere. It was very spacious with a variety of seating arrangements and layouts, which I enjoyed a lot.

Very nice restaurant for steak fine dinner. We made a reservation at 6:45pm two days ago and were seated immediately upon arrival. The waitress was very nice, welcoming and helpful. We asked for suggestions of red wine to go with our steak dinner. She suggested local red wine, which turned out very good. We ordered four prime ribs, three medium rare and one medium, and the cooking was just good. The meat was very tendered and juicy. It was a very nice dinning experience. For a bottle of red wine, two appetizers, and four prime rids, we only paid less than $400. Highly recommended.

Table for 8 and tried the 8oz sirloin with a lobster, it was great! Lobster was a bit on the smaller portion, but was flavourful. Steak was cooked well and tender. Got to try three different dessert. Crème brûlée, definitely the go to. The cheesecake, probably skip this. The miller cake, can be for 2-3 people and worth it. Great service and definitely a solid consistent chain restaurant.

We had a wonderful evening at The Keg. The quality of the meat and the cooking were exactly what we expected and the reason we chose to dine there in the first place. I was pleasantly surprised by the wine prices as well — very reasonable and a great addition to the experience.
The food was delicious, the service was courteous and attentive, and everything felt seamless from start to finish. Truly a great night out. Everything was perfect, as always.

I used to live close by years ago, and we come here all the time. Their butter chicken is phenomenal, the spicy dishes like their vindaloo all right standing, and the buffet was always a hit. Haven’t been here for many years, and I’m very pleased to discover that the quality Has 100% held up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely make an effort to remember you, lol the ambiance is perfect for an alien buffet place.
Absolutely would recommend this place, absolutely would recommend the buffet and I wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

This was an unbelievable find. Great service and amazing food. Staff was unbelievably helpful.
Walking in, I told the waitress that I was celiac and asked if they had a gluten free menu. I was quickly told that everything on the menu was gluten free with the exception of the bread.
I made my order and reconfirmed my meal was gluten free. With a smile the waitress said yes, the entire menu was gluten free.
If celiac or have a gluten sensitivity, this is a place to try. It was amazing and the flavour was unreal.

This restaurant has been around for years and is quite popular among people who enjoy Indian cuisine in the area. I’ve tried many Indian places around, and personally, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the GTA.
The staff are friendly, professional, and provide fast service.
The prices are on the expensive side, but they’re reasonable considering the quality and location

Lunch Buffet is Back !
I have been ordering Little India for delivery since they shut down the Lunch Buffet during Covid - but have not visited in person until last week.
Saw the sign advertising Lunch Buffet during a walk to the post office and immediately went in !
Happy to see Danesh and the team again in person.
The space and the Lunch Buffet is just as you may have remembered it - same taste profile and recipes and overall selection.
This is my Lunch Buffet Routine:
I start off by loading up a plate with a stack of Papadum and a spoonful of each saucy dish as an appetizer of sorts to taste my way through the selection.
Next I eat 2 Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks and smother them with the Butter Chicken sauce with either side of Naan or more Papadum. On a good day I can eat 6 drumsticks !
After that I eat another stack of Papadum and a spoonful of each saucy dish again - before going to get dessert.
In a bowl I put some custard with the DelMonte fruit toppings, some rice pudding and a Gulab.
After that I get another bowl of ice cream - 1 scoop each of Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry.
The last time I had Lunch Buffet - maybe over 7 years ago - it was $20 with tax and tip. Now the base price is $21 and with tax and tip it's closer to $30. My sweet spot would be $25 total for tax and tip - but I guess I tip more since I like Danesh and his family.
During Covid I would get the food delivered and have the Meat Platter for Two and additional Paneer Tikka. The food travels well for takeout or delivery and I always have leftovers for a couple other meals.
Somehow I have been eating at Little India since the late 1990's. Repetition is reputation and it's nice to find a place where I can count on the quality and taste of food being the same for close to 30 years !

Location is fantastic, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained with excellent service.
The washrooms are several floors up, so if you have mobility issues, you may have difficulty accessing them.
Food was average.
Butter chicken was much too sweet, and with the combo I chose (3), it contained only four pieces of chicken.
The lamb Vidaloo was very spicy, but a mango drink made it tolerable.
I heard that the buffet was good, so I will try it next to confirm.

Food is really good. We got the ragu papardele and the chicken skewer dinner. Food disappeared before the server could do his first check in. The chicken soup and the flamiz cheese dishes for aps are also highly recommended. Only reason why they didnt get a 5 star is the dessert menu could have been better.

Volos Greek Cuisine is one of my favorite downtown spots in Toronto for having a dinner that will surely impress your date, business partner or family.
The atmosphere is a mix of traditional Greek styling with a modern twist, the Volos is easily one of my favorite spots in downtown Toronto. If you need to impress a date or client, this is the place. The decor is a great mix of modern and traditional, and the service is excellent.
The food is outstanding—the steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled octopus was fantastic. However, the service logistics could be better. Many dishes are meant for sharing, yet we were given regular spoons instead of proper serving utensils. Also, the saganaki needs a much larger portion of bread to go with it!

Great date night spot ! Horiatiki salad, jumbo shrimp, and lamb shank were all delicious. Multiple saganaki "OPA"s abound. Mimoza took great care of us! Excellent service

I was craving seafood and then found this restaurant. The warm seafood salad just became my favorite dish. Every bites of that was well balanced. Thanks for this BOH team to make the best seafood meal. I will definitely recommend my friends to visiting.
Sui Aya - 7 months ago
Everything was excellent. We had the grilled octopus and tzatziki and one other dip as an appetizer and it was amazing, especially with pita and olive oil. The lamb shanks were also amazing. I would say the lamb shank was the best we've had, which is saying a lot because we ate at a lot of traditional restaurants in Crete and Athens. The desserts were also really good. I had the Greek yogurt which was great, because I don't eat sweets, so I usually skip dessert altogether. Our server Celine was very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend Volos. I can say for Greek cuisine this is the only real option downtown.

Popped in here for lunch and had good vegan options, I had the ramen and my partner had the fried rice. Generally good flavours but not anything bold.
Good drinks choices and dessert was very good.
Undecided, if I'll be back but would not be terribly disappointed I was.
Toilets facilities were ok and service was ok. Plenty of seating and we got in without a reservation.

Dish recommendations
Torched & Pressed and Eggplant Nigiri are mouthwatering and taste absolutely divine (if you love truffle).
Red Dragon was very tasty, lots of avocado and a nice kick to it.
Firecracker has a fun crispy texture (as its name suggests) thanks to loads of crispy fried onions.
Volcano roll was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest. Big portion so pretty filling though.
1000 layers crispy potatoes weren’t as crispy as I expected but yummy nonetheless.
Crispy Rice was great, nice crunch fresh and tasty.
Toffee pudding was a pleasant surprise, the toffee cake was warm and juicy, with the fresh coldness of the vanilla ice cream on top, very stimulating and refreshing!
For drinks, they had a nice fun selection (very interesting and creative names as well). We got the Kombucha mojito, very fruity and refreshing!!
Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience!! Our waitress lady was very nice and sweet

Food was fantastic. We are not vegan but thoroughly enjoyed everything we got with the standout being the eggplant unagi! The stellar part was the service - they went above and beyond accommodating our needs. Really appreciative of the staff here! Thank you so much.

Both of my experiences at Planta have consisted of a wonderfully ambient atmosphere paired with fairly average cuisine that is more pricey than I feel it warrants itself being.
The interior decor is tastefully upscale, but I don't feel the cuisine is quite up to par with it.
I hope the Planta team will consider this feedback, and ask themselves if there are ways to elevate their dishes to match their higher price points.
There was a delay in delivering a drink to our table, prompting the servers to generously remove it from the bill altogether - a gesture I quite appreciated.

I'm a huge sushi fan, and for a vegan place, this place was a really cool experience! I've never had vegetarian sushi before, but I was super shocked with how close the tuna roll tasted to real sushi (thanks to the waitress for the reco)! My mom is vegetarian, so it was nice that she got to try sushi in this unique way for the first time. We got a bunch of different plates; gyoza, edamame dumplings, mushroom katsu, sushi. It was a lovely experience, and the staff was super nice and the place looked really cool. If you're willing to spend the money, PLANTA was great!

Visited for Valentine’s Day and I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our night was. Despite it being a very busy night, our server Jason was attentive and friendly and communicative with us about the status of our meal. He definitely made our night much more enjoyable with his service! The food was absolutely delicious, the wild mushroom pappardelle is all I’ve been thinking about since that night. When our food was taking a while to come out we were even offered free dessert and a glass of dessert wine as compensation, we didn’t mind waiting on a busy night but this was such a nice gesture regardless. My partner and I had a pretty bad experience with a restaurant on Valentine’s Day last year so coming to Little Anthony’s this time was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be coming back!! :)

Little Anthony's lives up to its online reviews. The tuna tartare is fresh and beautifully seasoned; Anthony's salad is basically a burrata dish; the pasta is very al dente (the lamb ragu deserves a special shout-out, as does the mushroom papardelle); and the hazelnut gelato was smooth and fragrant. This is a lovely choice for any special occasion.

We went here for Winterlicious. The service, appetizers, and dessert were great. But the pasta I got the seafood was undercooked and I was really disappointed in that. Server said she will pass the feedback to the chef but nothing else was done.

Food and atmosphere was good. We had the chicken Noodle Soup, butter chicken and Margherita pizza. The reason I rated 4 stars was because the service was a bit cold and lacking. It seemed like we were inconveniencing them by choosing to eat at their restaurant. I think it would be busier if there was a friendlier more inviting staff.

Guests at the Hilton, it was nice to have this restaurant in the lobby.
Stopped here to regroup during some downtime and grabbed wings and a margarita pizza.
Both were yummy and hit the spot.
The waiter was friendly and attentive and provided tourist recommendations at our requests and we had an amazing conversation. They offer breakfast and happy hour specials here as well.

Service needs to be better. Host needs to be more attentive of guests coming in and servers need to be attentive when they need to order.
June 29th 2018- Revisited this place. Food got a lot better! Service was good on Friday night. Plate of food looked great! Did a 5 course meal and every plate was delicious. Live singer was great.
Atmosphere was awkward. May need to revisit. No signs of this place still and no one knows of this restaurant. Over shadowed by Ruth Chris' steakhouse. Need more exposure cause food was great.

Food was good, wait staff was very lackadaisical and careless about presenting the food. Soup course was sloshed around so badly that it made it unappetizing.
Update: the organization reached out to me to discus my review. The gentleman apologized and offered my wife and I a complimentary meal when/if we return to Toronto. He also mentioned that he would hold training to address the issue, so it wouldn't happen again. I hope all of this is true.
At no time did he ask that I revise my review - which is why I'm doing so.

Service attentive, music elegant vibe. When people started

My girlfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day here and it was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish, the staff gave us a rose which was a sweet touch.
We began with the voodoo shrimp perfectly crispy with that addictive sweet and spicy kick that hits just right without overpowering the shrimp itself. The mushroom stuffed with crab meat was honestly one of the most delicate and beautifully flavored crab dishes we’ve had. The crab was tender, fresh, and seasoned to perfection, rich but not heavy, letting the natural sweetness shine through.
For the main, we ordered the USDA ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was outstanding. It arrived on a sizzling plate, creating that mouthwatering sound that instantly builds anticipation. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, juicy, tender, and packed with deep, beefy flavor with a beautiful sear on the outside.
The sides were just as impressive. The potato au gratin was creamy, cheesy, and indulgent with a perfectly golden top, while the Brussels sprouts were cooked beautifully, caramelized, flavorful, and a great savory balance to the richness of the steak.
To finish, we had the molten lava cake and the creme brulee. The lava cake was decadent with a warm, flowing center that paired perfectly with the ice cream. The creme brulee was exceptional silky smooth custard with a perfectly torched sugar crust, and you could see and taste the real powdered vanilla bean throughout, which elevated it to another level.
The entire evening felt special, romantic, and thoughtfully executed. Incredible food, beautiful presentation, and an unforgettable Valentine’s dinner. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

We have been coming to this location for 3 years and it never disappoints. They always go above and beyond service wise. We have gone every year to celebrate our anniversary since 2024, and they always make sure to make us feel special and welcome. Today, they had the booth we always sit at ready, as well as a handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary. When we got there they even recognized that we had been there before for the same occasion, and for dessert they brought us out a delicious cheesecake.
A massive shoutout to our server Selena and the amazing manager Aaliya for taking such great care of us. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

probably the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. we came here while visiting Toronto particularly because my friend is Muslim and they offer halal steaks here, they were really accommodating. We had the New York strip rib eye, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Our server Selina was so kind, attentive, and genuine. She was truly a highlight of our experience!! The manager (unfortunately didn’t catch his name) was also super great, and came into check on us as well.
I would 100% come back here the next time I am in Toronto!!!

Came here for my birthday, was not disappointed! We particularly love the scallops and their salmon here, melts in your mouth, feels really fresh and taste quite a bit nicer than your average sushi place. And of course with great quality and service comes a greater price tag, more on the pricier side, but not outrageously expensive. We sat on the floating sushi boat bar, and the quality of the sushi is still very good, despite not being made right out from the kitchen, still tasted fresh. Also tried the Udon and wasn’t disappointed, the broth especially smells really nice.
Would definitely come back on special occasions!

The service and quality of the food we received was great. It was a little on the pricier side but worth it. The experience was great especially seeing their rotating sushi boat system.
I would highly recommend this place if you want fast service and quality food.
Janice J - 8 years ago
Quite an expensive place. But it’s a fun experience to sit around a turning table full of boats on water carrying sushi. They also have a menu where you can order more expensive items like the fatty tuna. The fatty tuna sushi is quite nice, but the sashimi is not that fat. Meaning it’s a lower quality cut of the tuna.
Wen Z - 6 years ago
Fun experience with decent sushi but lacking in that wow factor for the price. You are paying a premium for the experience of having one of, if not, the only conveyor belt boat sushi restaurant experiences in Toronto. Service was satisfactory and attentive but expected for the price. Sushi variety was average with some exotic options and a range of drink and sake selections at all price points. Each plate is between $4.50 to $8.50 for two pieces, on average. Higher priced items like uni are also available. The uni was tasty enough but not from Japanese waters. I would return annually for the floating boat (Fune) experience, not for the price or quality of fish.
Bryan Crisp - 7 years ago
For sushi that's high quality and consistently good, come here. The floating sushi bar is cool and the selection that comes around is great. And if you want something that doesn't float on by, just order it off the menu.
Service here has always been great during all my visits. The waitresses are prompt and attentive and the food comes out quickly. Prices here are reasonable too considering the quality you're getting. This isn't your all-you-can-eat quality here.
Overall, one of the best sushi options in the city in my opinion. And considering this place has been around since the early 90s, others must think so too.

Needed to try poutine on my trip to Toronto and was given only one recommendation.. Smoke's. The menu is excellent with choices for everyone. We got vegetarian and meat options as well as the original poutine. Service was decent enough and friendly. This location isn't very accessible friendly or stroller friendly but we made it work.
