5 Star Rating I was super excited to finally visit Pizzeria Libretto as it is one of a very few places with an Italian style pizza. Coming from Europe, it’s a real treasure for me, and I wasn’t disappointed. We ordered Margarita with pepperoni, and Prosciutto with arugula. Both pizzas were really delicious. I must shoot out to the server who was extremely friendly, welcoming, and smiling the whole visit. We will be definitely back.

4 Star Rating Stopped in for lunch. Was surprised by a lunch special on the menu which was awesome. Pizza and salad or sandwich and salad. Both great value. The food came out quickly and was tasty. The salad was a generous portion and was full of pear and walnuts. Very tasty. The pizza was a perfect lunch size. Was good. Good price aa well. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Great place to meet a friend and have a catch up lunch. Overall was very pleased with the experience and will go back.

2 Star Rating I went because of the great reviews, but was really disappointed. We ordered two pizzas and they were OK at best. I wouldn't even call them good. They were so basic, I couldn't believe they were made in a special oven and not just frozen pizza. I would not go again or recommend this restaurant.

3 Star Rating Came here on a Wednesday evening for dinner. We ordered their calamari, Homemade sausage pizza and virgin pineapple iced tea. The calamari was overcooked - it was very chewy and the batter separated from the calamari itself. We've had better tasting calamari from other places. The homemade sausage pizza was underwhelming - the crust was a little undercooked and chewy where it was hard to even cut it with a knife. We expected the crust to be a bit more crispy and the pizza overall to be more flavourful. Flavour was just average, nothing special about it. The Virgin pineapple iced tea tasted just okay as well. Could barely taste the pineapple flavour. Overall, we expected more for the price we paid - more flavour and better taste. Will probably take a while to come back here again.

3 Star Rating Lively atmosphere, great casual space, amazing and friendly service, prices are what prices are these days. So why just an average rating? Likely comes down to personal food taste preference. Stopped by for dinner and got: - Meat Lasagna: Hefty and super cheesy. Would have liked a bit more bite to the sauce. - Mussels: Good amount for the price. Ok tasting tomato based sauce. - Fried Calamari: A bit tough and overly fried. Standard side dip. Based on the crowds when we went, lots of people seem to love this place. If you want a straightforward Italian meal, this is a pretty good spot.

4 Star Rating Follow @bredgyeats on IG for more food posts! On the journey to try every different Italian dish (I'm not going to finish), the fig pizza had a harmonious balance of flavours and a beautiful golden-brown crust, while the creamy mushroom pasta and traditional lasagna are hard to go wrong with, bringing familiar flavours.

4 Star Rating Food was so good, well worth the money you spend. One drink, appetizer and main will cost you about $60-$70. We waited for awhile for our server to address us and even had to ask. However, food was very delicious, I would go back for food, different server. Try to get a table outside if the weather is nice. Indoor decor is very nice also.

5 Star Rating Katsu is one of our local Danforth go-to's & staples if we are craving Japanese; whether its dine-in or via Uber Eats. And during the summer we enjoy their front patio. Great sushi, great food, great prices. The manager and staff are just lovely, so friendly and attentive. If we dine-in we switch between the dinner AYCE (even at lunch because of the wider selection) or a la carte. They offer great lunch specials too. One of my absolute favourite dishes is the Japan Salmon Salad roll, and I love enjoying our meals with hot sake when we dine-in. My husband's fave dishes are their California roll, BBQ pork, gyoza, and salmon teriyaki. I really really miss their hot & sour soup. Love this spot!!!

5 Star Rating This Tim Hortons on Pape Avenue is hands down the best one I’ve ever been to! Every visit is a great experience. The place is always super clean and well-organized, which makes a big difference when you’re grabbing your coffee or a quick bite. The service is consistently fast, efficient, and friendly, something you don’t always get at every location. The team here, especially the ladies working the counter, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They always greet you with a smile and treat you with genuine warmth, even during the busiest hours. Whether I’m stopping in for a morning coffee, a midday snack, or a late-night treat, the quality and service are always top-notch. 4 Star Rating My wife and I were in the Pape and Danforth area and were looking for somewhere to eat. We came across Simone's Caribbean Restaurant and my wife, being of Jamaican descent, wanted to give this place a try. What we found was great and disappointing all at the same time. The place is just a stone's throw from the TTC Pape Subway Station, which is a great location to be in. The place is nice inside and feels very welcoming and so was the staff. There was a strange thing standing out to us, when we spoke to the person behind the counter, they explained that we can dine in, but everything is served in take-out containers. We were both very confused by this set up, but gave the food a try. My wife ordered Barbecued Chicken with rice and peas, with a side order of Festival. She loved the rice and peas, but she was disappointed with the Chicken. She said it was a little dry and only the skin had any real flavor. She liked the festival and said it was cooked well. I had the Jerk Chicken Salad, as the idea was interesting. I was very happy with it and the Jerk Chicken spice was very well balanced with the coolness of the salad. It was a great meal. We both got Beef patties to go and had them later on and found them to be decent and a great snack for later in the day. In closing, we found Simone’s a mixed bag. Some things were great while some were ok. The place not being a true “eat-in” restaurant, even though it is set up as such, was a little strange, but all in all it was a good experience and we will be back. If you want some good Caribbean take-out and live in the area, this is a great place to give a try.

5 Star Rating We came to Simone’s for the first time yesterday. My husband is part Jamaican and it had been a while since we have had some good, classic Jamaican food. We were starving and ordered way too much but I can genuinely say we enjoyed every bite! We had the fish fritters, Jamaican chicken dinner, curry shrimp dinner, oxtail dinner with coleslaw, vegetables, green banana and the dumplings. Needless to say we weren’t able to finish but my god it was delicious! The hot sauce is clearly authentic and is a definite must as an add on if you love it spicy. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the Sorrel punch we had! We left full and glowing! Thanks so much for the awesome experience and left overs ❤️

3 Star Rating On Boxing Day, this Bagel Time was the only bagel shop open within a half hour walk of the downtown core. We bundled up and made the trek over to the Danforth, our mouths watering with anticipation. Unfortunately the bagels did not live up to our expectations. The “everything” in the bagels we ordered seemed to consist of sesame and poppy seeds only, and the texture was too chewy. Most importantly, the taste was just OK, and they lacked salt. I’ve had fresh bagels from restaurants with similar menus and wood oven, that have exploded in my mouth with fresh-baked flavour. None of that here.

5 Star Rating Amazing authentic Japanese on the Danforth!!! This place was a wonderful experience. We have been here once before and the takoyaki is genuinely the best in the city that we had to come back. The server was attentive (gave us two glasses to share our pop which was so thoughtful!) and honest about food (specifically the level of spice I would be in for). We had the Spicy ramen and pork katsu curry. The portions were great, the atmosphere is top notch and over all such a pleasant experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu!

2 Star Rating Considering what we paid it was an underwhelming experience. The food was good but it felt heavily overpriced considering what we got (see photo). We paid $90 for a modest amount of sushi. Not more than a week ago we got well over double the equally tasty sushi for only $50 more from another local Japanese restaurant. They obviously don't specialize in the type of sushi that our family is looking for (we almost exclusively eat maki, sashimi and related raw fish rolls and aren't looking for other Japanese dishes, especially any non fish meat dishes) so I can't fault them for that. I do wish for them to succeed because they are a local business but the restaurant was empty on a Friday evening at 6.30 pm. That doesn't bode well for their longevity. Perhaps it's time to reevaluate the menu slightly to cater to what our unrefined Canadian palate is looking for in a sushi dish, lots of fish--maki, sashimi, etc.

Good spot if you feel like eating Japanese food and want a wide selection, like the Izakaya name implies. 5 Star Rating We ordered the takoyaki and shrimp okonomiyaki as our appetizer. Both were delicious. The nabeyaki udon was good. The zaru soba tasted like what you expected, just a regular zaru soba. It was a hearty meal and definitely great having after work. We went around 6pm, expected for it to be a little busy but surprisingly was not. It was just us dining in but there were a lot of people who ordered food to take out. It felt like a mom and pop store. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy. I felt very relaxed and comfortable dining in there. Def recommend.

2 Star Rating Been here a few times the last few months. First off the food is decent. Wings are very good, burgers ok. Good value for food Now…the service is hit and miss. Find I get better service when I’m here with a few buddies than when I’m with my gf Servers are quick to greet you when you enter but usually slow taking food orders I’ve come by 9pm-ish and was able to order food, yet a few days later the kitchen was closed at the same arrival time Also at times the place is rocking at 930pm and at times the bar closed at 930pm. No consistency. As for the atmosphere, the ‘regulars’ are all over served. All of them are too drunk to have another yet they are never cut off. Shots flow freely amongst regulars and servers, who take their shots in the kitchen for some odd reason. Obviously have no idea if they drink them all but have been there when server was clearly intoxicated I’ve seen people walk in and denied service for whatever reason but the people being asked to leave are a lot more sober than regulars and at times servers who continue to drink Will continue to frequent this establishment as it is close to home but would hate to stay to last call as who knows how rowdy it can get

5 Star Rating We visited this very nice spot on a Saturday night. Very classy place with a dancefloor and bar in the back. Dj was playing a variety of music and people were dancing and enjoying. We will definitely return and recommend 👏👏
