The fastest pizza service Ive ever thought possible. The pizzas can be cooked extremely fast. And the flavours are explosively awesome. The staff are so kind and you can taste it in the pizzas they make. I would come back with friends and family for sure. They made me one happy and satisfied customer. The eating environment is really relaxing too. I happened to get here before they got busy with lunch customers😆

I was really excited to finally visit Pizzeria Libretto since it’s one of the few places serving true Italian-style pizza — and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Margherita with pepperoni and the Prosciutto with arugula, and both were absolutely delicious. A special shout-out to our server who was so friendly, welcoming, and smiling the whole time. We’ll definitely be back!

I was super excited to finally visit Pizzeria Libretto as it is one of a very few places with an Italian style pizza. Coming from Europe, it’s a real treasure for me, and I wasn’t disappointed. We ordered Margarita with pepperoni, and Prosciutto with arugula. Both pizzas were really delicious. I must shoot out to the server who was extremely friendly, welcoming, and smiling the whole visit.
We will be definitely back.

Stopped in for lunch. Was surprised by a lunch special on the menu which was awesome. Pizza and salad or sandwich and salad. Both great value. The food came out quickly and was tasty. The salad was a generous portion and was full of pear and walnuts. Very tasty. The pizza was a perfect lunch size. Was good. Good price aa well. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Great place to meet a friend and have a catch up lunch. Overall was very pleased with the experience and will go back.

I went because of the great reviews, but was really disappointed. We ordered two pizzas and they were OK at best. I wouldn't even call them good. They were so basic, I couldn't believe they were made in a special oven and not just frozen pizza. I would not go again or recommend this restaurant.

Lively atmosphere, great casual space, amazing and friendly service, prices are what prices are these days. So why just an average rating? Likely comes down to personal food taste preference.
Stopped by for dinner and got:
- Meat Lasagna: Hefty and super cheesy. Would have liked a bit more bite to the sauce.
- Mussels: Good amount for the price. Ok tasting tomato based sauce.
- Fried Calamari: A bit tough and overly fried. Standard side dip.
Based on the crowds when we went, lots of people seem to love this place. If you want a straightforward Italian meal, this is a pretty good spot.

My friends and I had an impromptu dinner here tonight and to say it was a good time would be putting it lightly. Not only was the food some of the most delicious Italian cuisine I have everrr had, the service was impeccable. From the get go, we were treated with such kindness by our hostess as well as the other staff, who made our experience so wholesome and wonderful. I can’t wait to drop in for another meal in the future. I can’t get that pasta out of my mind!

Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. For drinks I had the amaretto sour…ok I had 2 amaretto sours because they were made to perfection. I also had the Fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp. It was creamy and delicious. Highly recommend this location if you like Italian food. Sorry I only took a photo of my Ameretto Sour. 🤪

On the journey to try every different Italian dish (I'm not going to finish), the fig pizza had a harmonious balance of flavours and a beautiful golden-brown crust, while the creamy mushroom pasta and traditional lasagna are hard to go wrong with, bringing familiar flavours.

The QR code and order through your phone system is extremely convenient. The service is top notch and the variety drinks, hard and soft, are a plenty.
This sushi restaurant has been here for a long time and it's good to see this place is still serving quality sushi.

Me and my family have been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and the food is always delicious! The sushi is fresh- especially the salmon. The grilled items are cooked just right and smell amazing when they arrive at the table. This place is our go-to for sushi in the area, and we will be eating here for many more years to come.

The food was delicious, I always try to order the fuyu bento box when I stop by here for either lunch dinner.
You will receive a great value of food items. Definitely the spot to by when you're interested in sushi.
Been going here for years, and everytime I stop by the quality has been maintained exceptionally well!
Added addition is a complimentary dessert after your dine in meal 😊
Update June 07 2022 - Went with our family today, food was very good, atmosphere was very nice, with courteous staff. Definitely come again! 😁

Katsu will forever be my favourite restaurant.
Basically I’ve been coming here for about 10 years now, and whether you are ordering a bento box, or fully satisfying yourself with all you can eat, every meal and every taste at this restaurant is amazing.
I want to start off by saying the owner is such a kind and wonderful person, and really cares about each customer. I see her working every time I come in, and she is very passionate about her restaurant!
Secondly, I wanted to say that I thought there were sushi chefs working in the kitchen. Incorrect, there are magicians working here, because how is the food seriously that delicious?
And now for the menu. Okay, so you can choose to do all you can eat for a set price of around $37 (dinner), and I must say with all the options on the menu this is a really good deal! Or, if you’re not as hungry there are plenty of other cheaper options that are fully satisfying. Before having all you can eat I used to order a bento box (Natsu combo $13.99) that had my choice of meat (teriyaki chicken) with rice, shrimp and veggie tempura, dumplings, soup and california sushi! Such a big box for such a good deal!
I will say that the all you can eat really opened up my eyes to what this restaurant is capable of, and I’ll go through my favourite dishes that I recommend from the AYCE menu:
Appetizers:
Green salad
Dumplings (a MUST have)
Beef teriyaki
Tempura Shrimp (veggie is also good)
Tempura Squid (this one over Calamari)
Takoyaki
Sushi:
Danforth Roll (Deepfried, must try)
Green Dragon Roll (very yum)
Gold Dragon Roll (Salmon lovers must try this)
Dynamite Roll
California/Spicy California Roll
Avocado Roll (small sushi with just avocado)
Salmon Roll (small sushi with just salmon)
Salmon & Avocado Hand Roll
Salmon Sushi (Salmon Sashimi on a bed of rice)
Sashimi:
I cannot express this enough: Katsu’s salmon sashimi is to die for! My favourite sashimi, the best I’ve ever had. I have cravings for this taste. The texture is smooth, melts in your mouth. Amazing. And if you don’t think you’re a sashimi person, just give 1 piece of salmon sashimi here a try. Dip it in some soy sauce and be changed forever.
Also the atmosphere and ambience in this restaurant is very warm, cozy and welcoming. I come here as often as I can with friends and my fiancé, and am happy when I get the opportunity to introduce new sushi lovers to Katsu.
Anyways, yeah that’s my review. Thank you for reading this far if you have. And thank you Katsu for years of delicious meals! This is forever my favourite restaurant.

A great location (Pape Subway Station) to grab a coffee and/or snack. The staff are super kind and treat people like people. Rajini, Fahima, Mashoma, Lipi, Anindta, Andrew, etc are amongst the best there. I would list all of the workers if I could, but I honestly don't know all of their names.
Thank you for the hospitality and great tasting coffee that starts my day off in a positive note.

The nicest staff in the entire city! They make my day better by being consistent, kind, caring, and just awesome overall. They deal with a lot of stuff being a small Tim Hortons attached to a subway station (crazy people, busy people, teens, etc), but they handle it all so gracefully. Obviously I come to Tims for my tea and bagels, but it’s the staff that make my morning routine something to look forward to.
Thank you to all the staff here! God bless!

Great local restaurant. The food was good. We waited about 25mins for our food but the plantains and Johnny cakes came out first and were delicious. The oxtails were seasoned but a bit tough. The fish was great.
Small indoor dining area. There are stairs for the bathroom downstairs so it is not accessible for wheelchairs.

On Boxing Day, this Bagel Time was the only bagel shop open within a half hour walk of the downtown core. We bundled up and made the trek over to the Danforth, our mouths watering with anticipation. Unfortunately the bagels did not live up to our expectations. The “everything” in the bagels we ordered seemed to consist of sesame and poppy seeds only, and the texture was too chewy. Most importantly, the taste was just OK, and they lacked salt. I’ve had fresh bagels from restaurants with similar menus and wood oven, that have exploded in my mouth with fresh-baked flavour. None of that here.
Dee Grossman - 3 years ago
Best bagels! They make the bagels at a wood oven! Its so tasty and fresh! I am Kettlemans lover from Ottawa but after trying this place I think I have a new favourite Montreal style bagels place!
I only tried the sesame bagels, it was great and warm just got out of the oven. They have other types chocolate onion blueberry chia seeds and gluten free options too.
Also tried their cream cheese fluffy and fresh! Absolutely recommend that place! Staff was nice too!
Aia Raafat - 6 years ago
Perfect location for the area. Love a fresh montreal smoked bagel. They even have a gluten-free option if that's your thing. They also just expanded the shop to accommodate a larger smoke pit. The only downfall is that they are not one to have a friendly chat... but conversation is not required;)

Considering what we paid it was an underwhelming experience. The food was good but it felt heavily overpriced considering what we got (see photo). We paid $90 for a modest amount of sushi. Not more than a week ago we got well over double the equally tasty sushi for only $50 more from another local Japanese restaurant.
They obviously don't specialize in the type of sushi that our family is looking for (we almost exclusively eat maki, sashimi and related raw fish rolls and aren't looking for other Japanese dishes, especially any non fish meat dishes) so I can't fault them for that. I do wish for them to succeed because they are a local business but the restaurant was empty on a Friday evening at 6.30 pm. That doesn't bode well for their longevity. Perhaps it's time to reevaluate the menu slightly to cater to what our unrefined Canadian palate is looking for in a sushi dish, lots of fish--maki, sashimi, etc.

Amazing authentic Japanese on the Danforth!!!
This place was a wonderful experience. We have been here once before and the takoyaki is genuinely the best in the city that we had to come back. The server was attentive (gave us two glasses to share our pop which was so thoughtful!) and honest about food (specifically the level of spice I would be in for). We had the Spicy ramen and pork katsu curry. The portions were great, the atmosphere is top notch and over all such a pleasant experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu!
brandon manning - 7 months ago
We ordered the takoyaki and shrimp okonomiyaki as our appetizer. Both were delicious.
The nabeyaki udon was good. The zaru soba tasted like what you expected, just a regular zaru soba.
It was a hearty meal and definitely great having after work.
We went around 6pm, expected for it to be a little busy but surprisingly was not. It was just us dining in but there were a lot of people who ordered food to take out.
It felt like a mom and pop store. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy. I felt very relaxed and comfortable dining in there. Def recommend.

Wow I had such delicious and satisfying meal ☺️ I ordered the Karaage Ramen (karaage was put on the side, which I prefer) and it was so yummy. Usually when I have Ramen, the broth tends to be on the saltier side, but this was a perfect blend of smooth and rich flavors. You can really feel and taste the care and love the chefs put into the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really relaxing too! And the service was excellent 👌 ahh overall I'd recommend visiting this quiet, kawaii, and cozy little spot on Danforth!! You won't regret it ❤️❤️

Nice, quiet experience. Best way to describe it is it's like Japanese comfort food. Good spot if you feel like eating Japanese food and want a wide selection, like the Izakaya name implies. They do a bit of everything good though I wouldn't say great - ramen, karaage, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, sushi, katsu, etc

This is my go-to, favourite place for sushi in the city. The service, quality and environment are consistently wonderful. I find myself coming here at the end of a long day. As soon as I arrive I feel a sense of calm and I always leave satisfied. Dining for one, I love the variety of bento boxes and plates because I get a multi course meal at a reasonable price. But it’s also fun to bring friends here, to order a sushi for two or order off the menu. Ive dined in many other sushi restaurants at a higher price point and have been totally spoiled by Aji Sai because the fish is fresher, the flavours delightful. They even have the perfect portion of green tea ice cream to top off the meal, for less than $3. I’ve also ordered delivery from Aji Sai countless times and it’s always arrived beautifully and no compromise to the quality. Honestly I’m so enthusiastic about this restaurant, I want you to go here and try it for yourself. 😀

The food was fantastic. The service on point! They really care about the presentation of the food, it was immaculate!! Take out was busy, but you could tell they where happy to have people in the restaurant. Absolutely the best Sushi 🍣 in a long time. Generous proportions. Very competitive pricing. Even the menu was fantastically designed, new, clean, and a great feel.

My friend and i were seated very quickly and served tea. The interior was very nice and i loved their tea cups. Ordered 3 dishes during lunch and the total came out to 30 dollars after tax, what a DEAL. The service was efficient and every server had a smile on their face. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Been coming to this friendly establishment since I moved into the neighbourhood years ago, great friendly vibe with a crowd that likes to unwind after a hard work day.
Great wings specials, cold beers on tap, excellent service and enough TV's to ensure you never miss a moment of your favourite sport, regardless of the season.
Cool room in the back with board games and trivia keyboards.
Great venue that endures, when so many others along the Danforth have come and gone. Kudos to Ricky and a great team!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon in May. It was not too busy during this hour. Enjoyed a chill, quiet bite!
Service was standard but the Lime chips won me over! Almost got a second order to take to-go because it was that good.
Also - prices are good here as well.

Great place to kick back and watch the play offs. Decent menu and good priced beer pitcher. The atmosphere was laid back and they have the bar area and the dining area separated, which is nice. The walls are decorated very well!
Good service and fast responses. I would recommend. Though the tables were a little dirty, everything else was satisfactory.

Been here a few times the last few months. First off the food is decent. Wings are very good, burgers ok. Good value for food
Now…the service is hit and miss. Find I get better service when I’m here with a few buddies than when I’m with my gf
Servers are quick to greet you when you enter but usually slow taking food orders
I’ve come by 9pm-ish and was able to order food, yet a few days later the kitchen was closed at the same arrival time
Also at times the place is rocking at 930pm and at times the bar closed at 930pm.
No consistency.
As for the atmosphere, the ‘regulars’ are all over served. All of them are too drunk to have another yet they are never cut off. Shots flow freely amongst regulars and servers, who take their shots in the kitchen for some odd reason. Obviously have no idea if they drink them all but have been there when server was clearly intoxicated
I’ve seen people walk in and denied service for whatever reason but the people being asked to leave are a lot more sober than regulars and at times servers who continue to drink
Will continue to frequent this establishment as it is close to home but would hate to stay to last call as who knows how rowdy it can get
