This is simply one of the best dining experiences in T. O. in the realm of aucenticity, simplicity, quality, and hygge. The burger is outstanding, and has been for decades, long before the cuisinites turned their attention to this humble menu item. The hand cut fries are delicious and a perfect accompaniment. 10/10

Wonderful experience at this wonderful gem. I brought a friend and my grandmother and it was nice. Had sandwiches and French toast. Delicious choices. The waitress was wonderful. Super friendly. The restaurant is small but delightful. Bathroom is down a set of stairs. Not accommodating if you can’t do stairs.

A bit on the outdated side, food is decent nothing really special. It's traditional comfort food if anything, not something I'd go out of the way to find or visit, they serve meals that just about every other restaurant serves. Food is good but not anything to write home about.

The Senator is a charming little spot that feels like stepping into a cozy, old-school diner with a touch of elegance. The inside is very cute and quaint, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. Yes, it’s definitely on the pricey side—expect to pay about twice as much as you would at somewhere like Sunset Grill. But in this case, you’re absolutely getting what you pay for. The breakfast is delicious—easily more than twice as tasty, so take that for what it's worth. Everything is cooked to perfection, from the eggs to the crispy bacon and perfectly toasted bread. The staff are also lovely, friendly, and attentive, adding to the overall experience. While it might not be an everyday spot for the budget-conscious, it’s absolutely worth the splurge every now and then for a truly enjoyable breakfast.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Toronto, this is always a solid choice. We started with the Giuggiolosa salad, which was fresh. The Tonnarelli alla Norcina was outstanding. Every bite tasted like authentic Italy. The Capricciosa pizza was another highlight. The crust had the perfect Neapolitan texture, light, airy, and beautifully blistered. The toppings were generous, fresh, and every ingredient stood out. We also paired everything with a glass of 2024 Poggio Vicchio Sangiovese Romagna DOC, and it complemented the meal perfectly. A special thank you to Asacia, our server. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and gave us excellent recommendations throughout the meal. Her service made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back. Terroni continues to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Toronto.

Had an early Sunday dinner at Terroni Adelaide before a concert at Massey Hall and it was a great pre-show spot. The restaurant is set inside a former 1852 courthouse, with soaring ceilings and a beautiful atrium. Even the washrooms are downstairs in old jail cells, which is a fun little surprise. We shared the Calamari alla Griglia to start, fresh and nicely balanced. My date had the Spaghetti in Canna a Mare. It was labelled mildly spicy but definitely had some heat, though the flavours were great. I ordered the Ravioli al Brasato, which was delicious but the portion was on the smaller side. I could have eaten a few more ravioli and been perfectly happy. We finished with tiramisu, plus an amaro for me and zambuca for my date. Service was friendly, though drinks were a bit slow coming out. The place filled up quickly but never felt chaotic. Beautiful space, solid Italian food, and a great option downtown, especially before a show.

I wish I could say I enjoyed Terroni more. The venue itself was not held in the main restaurant. The company I work at booked out some of the upper floors for an event. There were four flights of stairs to get up to the first floor with the bar and main dining area. There was another two flights of stairs to get to the upper bar (which I was too tired to walk up to). The drinks at the bar were good and the staff were all great. We started with passed apps. Some of the flavour combinations were just off (the skewer with fruit, cheese and something else) - like they paired the wrong cheese with the fruit. The meal itself was a seat down meal (family style) which did take over two hours to complete for the amount of guests that were present (over 200 ppl). My favorite dish was the tomato and mozza salad. My most disappointed dish was the ragu pasta. Though containing a good amount of meat it was not saucy at all. The pizza was the brocolini was good as well. The reason I gave this restaurant three stars is strictly for the lack of elevator and the food quality vs the price. For what you are paying, there is so much higher quality food in the city and I honestly think you can get better bang for buck elsewhere.

Its ok. Had to wait around at 4pm for about 20 minutes mid week with a reservation for 8 upstairs in the large dining room which was empty. Menu is mostly in Italian. No draught beer so you will need to order bottled. Approx 8 dollars per bottle. The fried calamari appetizer was good but for 24 dollars a little overpriced. Also got the charcuterie board for 30 dollars again very overpriced for what you get. For main had pizza affitiscuita, a spictly salami pizza for 25 dollars, was ok to split between two people but was fairly thin crust so thankfully we ordered two appetizers otherwise each person needs their own pizza. Finished with tiramisu for desert which was fairly normal. Overall the flavours are all great, but the portions for the price were surprising. Serivice is ok. Had to wave down the server several times for more water as the food is fairly salty and the water glasses very small.

Hadn’t been back in a decade, my Chinese ex’s favorite go-to. Lovely staff, grand old classic interior and enclosed patio, was a historic courthouse. Calamari and pizzas were simply divine. Two of the pastas were superb, one with seafood no seasoning, tasteless, smelled off, returned it. What they do well they do very well indeed! I need to come back here more often! Everything about Hy’s is top notch - ambiance, service, and most importantly, the food! Got to give a shout out to Prentice who provided best-in-class service! He designed the perfect lunch for us. Definitely do not miss out the cheese bread - it’s something else! The shrimp cocktail is four completely symmetric jumbo shrimp. We listened to Prentice and got the bone-in NY to share instead of individual strips - completely the right call!

The flaky, golden-brown puff pastry enveloped a generous portion of tender, perfectly seared beef fillet, all cemented by a rich, earthy layer of duxelles. It was a harmonious balance of texture and intense flavour, executed with impressive skill. ​The Pork Chop presented a beautiful pink interior, testament to precise cooking, yet it possessed a slight rough texture that contrasted with the dish's overall finesse. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Hy’s in Toronto was truly unforgettable from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with genuine warmth, congratulated on our milestone, and graciously told, “your table is ready and waiting for you,” immediately setting the tone for a thoughtful and memorable evening. Every detail of the night felt exceptional. We began with the jumbo prawn cocktail, crab cakes, and Hy’s famous cheese toast for two, famously irresistible for a reason. Each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour, accompanied by teardrop peppers, fresh corn and hearts of palm. Our selections were perfectly complemented by a rich Chilean Cabernet and a Picaro cocktail. For our main course, we enjoyed a perfectly prepared 14 oz New York striploin, served alongside a mixed green salad with red wine vinaigrette, brown sugar pecan carrots, charred lemon parmesan asparagus, and sautéed cremini mushrooms, mashed and baked potato. Each element was delicious and elegantly presented, creating a meal that felt both indulgent and impeccably balanced. Our servers, Jacob and Jimmy, elevated the experience to another level. Jacob was attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the evening, while Jimmy brought a natural warmth and charm that made us feel completely at ease. Discovering his Greek heritage was a delightful and unexpected connection, bringing back cherished memories of our honeymoon in Greece and adding a deeply personal touch to our celebration. Server look very busy It’s clearly Management put not enough server for customers. I you want to give 5 star to customers server must be more focus. For those who enjoy being in an environment that blends the new with the old, like to learn details about beer production, and enjoy being in an environment where beer is actually made, visiting 3 Brasseurs is a good option. The restaurant has a good menu of food, drinks, and beers, but without a wide variety of beers. The place has a sensational structure to serve a large number of customers and host events, but with very little infrastructure to accommodate customers with reduced mobility and disabilities. They do not have menus in Braille, the entrance doors are spring-loaded, and the floor is smooth and undamaged; they have tables that can be used with wheelchairs and walkers, but the restrooms are located on the upper floors, requiring assistance for customers as there are many flights of stairs. The restaurant service is okay; on quiet days and during off-peak hours, the attention and service are quite fast and organized. However, when busier times begin, be patient, as it will take longer. They don't have their own parking, but there are several private parking lots in the area, and it's also just steps from the TEMU metro station. Worth a visit.

This is a French chain restaurant with locations across Ontario and Quebec, so it helps to keep that in mind when setting expectations. The beer is brewed for scale and has a more mass-produced taste, but it’s still solid and was enjoyed by all. The space itself is large and spread across multiple levels, which worked well for our party of eight. On Boxing Day, right after a theater show, we only waited about 20 minutes for a table, impressive given the crowds. The location is also very convenient, directly across from the Eaton Centre. The food is classic pub fare. We tried the fish and chips, flammekueche, poutine, and a few handheld. I regret not adding extra cheese to the Alps Raclette, it definitely needed it. The poutine portion is on the smaller side, so a hungry teenager (or adult) will likely want more. The fish and chips was a solid go to! Overall, it’s a convenient, lively spot for groups, especially before or after shopping or a show.

Visited 3 Brasseurs and tried the halloumi fries, peach schnapps cocktail, decadent brownie, and fruit explosion mocktail. Overall, it was good, but not quite what I expected. Coming from Montreal, I’ve been to 3 Brasseurs multiple times, and there the vibe is lively and the food truly amazing. Here, it felt like something was missing - especially in the fries, the mocktail, and the warmth of the service. That said, the place still has great potential, and some items like the brownie and cocktail were enjoyable. Would be worth revisiting for the experience.

It was my first time at Richmond Station and my expectations were exceeded. Incredible food and service. Our server’s name was Krish and he was very kind, hospitable and made sure we had a great experience. For starters, we had the Mushroom Tartine, Duck Liver Pâté, Beef Tartare and the Cape Breton Nordic Shrimp. We ordered the Station Burger and the Sausage & Seafood Spaghetti for mains. Everything tasted incredible. Serving sizes were enough for two people. We ended the meal with a Brown butter corn pop. After the dinner services we got a mini tour of the kitchen from Tyler. It was great hearing about the locally sourced ingredients and that it was a hospitality included restaurant that paid staff a living wage. Will definitely be back to try the tasting menu.

We came here for an anniversary dinner, and they gave us a very cute card. This is restaurant does not require tipping as all costs are already included in each menu item. This did not affect the level of service at all, as our waitress was attentive and she kept checking in with us throughout the meal. The food was very delicious, especially the duck breast! Absolutely delicious and perfectly made. I would definitely be coming back.

I had dinner here late after flying in from NYC. Excellent cocktail, food, and service. I had the shrimp appetizer and the duck. Both were excellent. So good that I came back a few days later for the tasting menu. The tasting menu was very good, but not on par with the tasting menus at Michelin Star restaurants in Toronto. It was still very good with a lot of local, seasonal dishes. The wine pairing was also very good.

It was my first time at Richmond station and also celebrated my birthday here. It was so delicious! Every dish was cooked with care and I usually don't order chicken at a restaurant but my chicken dish was cooked perfectly. It was so flavorful and the chicken was so moist! Shoutout to whoever drew my birthday card, it was so sweet and a great touch! It was a picture of a toast celebrating, super cute card. We also chose the olive oil cake and it was absolutely divine. I really respect this restaurant's policy of hospitality included. They pay their staff fair wages which is why they charge the price that they do for every dish on the menu. There's no tipping required. I think that's a great policy and more restaurants should get on board with that. Thanks Richmond Station for making my birthday so special! Keep doing what you're doing!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant in a tipping culture that doesn’t accept tips while still providing excellent service. We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and chose the tasting menu. To start, we were served a small bite of salmon tartare, which was quite flavorful. The scallop appetizer was refreshing, while the asparagus course felt a little underwhelming as a standalone dish. The two main courses were the highlights. The wild Quebec bass was fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The chicken was incredibly juicy and well seasoned. Although it came with a butter-based sauce, it wasn’t heavy at all and paired perfectly with the bread. For dessert, the first one was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the ice cream was quite tasty. The six-course tasting menu was just the right amount for the two of us, although it might be a little small for bigger appetites.

Me and my son sat down on the bar we ordered pizza Quattro Sapori it was ok but somewhat missing in flavour other than the artichoke on it and burrta doesn't really stand out, we had 2 pasta fettuccine all Bolognese the sauce was great but it did not stick well to the pasta no.matter how well Mix it.Fettucine has a nice texture feels made in house but it seems was cook in un salted water. My sons Ravioli brasato had a good stuffing and nice pasta but the sauce is not really memorable.

Walked in at 8pm on a Saturday night and got seated right away. Service was prompt, relaxed and friendly. Food and my personal thoughts: - Beef tartara: sooo rich, chewy, crunchy toast, it was such a delight - Ravioli with beef: it was well cooked, and mighty tasty! - Funghi pizza: i thought it might be a tad sweet because of caramelized onions and honey but it wasn’t. well-balanced, beautiful undercarriage. - Flourless cake: you get coffee, chocolate, and almond flavours plus the olive oil brings it all together harmoniously. what a magical slice of cake! A delightful italian restaurant close to eaton centre in downtown Toronto. Will definitely be back!

We had a mixed experience at Le Bettola di Terroni. I ordered the mushroom pizza and absolutely loved it—it was delicious and full of flavour. My friend ordered the fried seafood platter. Although she knew it was an appetizer, she was disappointed that it came with only two shrimp and a lot of calamari. She felt she might as well have ordered the calamari instead. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal, but my friend was less impressed with hers. I was too busy eating to take photos. The next time I go I will though.

We have a large Italian food scene in Toronto thus the competition is intense. Our pizza was very tasty but need to hold the toppings better as it was soggy minus the crust. The pasta was perfection. Service could be warmer and faster, but overall a lovely evening prior to the theatre.

Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe: This dish is a beast. Al dente pasta, glossy, coated in cheese and pepper, no nonsense. It’s comfort food elevated to fine dining. Honestly, one of the best versions I’ve ever had. Beef Carpaccio: Thinly sliced, melt-in-your-mouth beef, peppery rocket, sharp Parmesan — balanced like a symphony. Fresh, vibrant, spot on. Bread Basket with Olive Oil: Crunchy crust, soft center — dip it in that green-gold olive oil and you’re in heaven. Something so simple, but when it’s done right, it hits you hard. Roasted Potatoes: Crispy skins, fluffy insides, seasoned just right. Rustic, earthy, bloody delicious. Terroni Sour: Smooth, citrusy, balanced cocktail with a proper punch. Not too sweet, not too tart — just beautifully crafted. Dessert – Italian Lemon Olive Oil Cake: Light, moist, kissed with citrus, dusted with sugar, almonds for crunch. It’s the sort of dessert that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. Absolutely sublime. Every plate that came to the table was executed with precision, passion, and respect for the ingredients. Not a weak dish in sight. Pair that with flawless, attentive service and you’ve got a dining experience that’s hard to top. This is how you do it: Buon Cibo. Buon Vino. Buoni Amici. They nailed every word on that wall.

We have change to enjoy summer at patio that days was awesome. The Atmosphere is really good not too crowded weather so nice location is so good since the entrance connected to Eton center. Good for hanging out with friends, couples, business talk or just relax. We had Frittomisto and Carbonara it was so good. Also our server is perfect provided excellent customer service, attentive, drink and food were serving very smooth.

Of course starting with the positive they have a great wine selection and even better service. Every employee was kind and worked extremely well as a team. The lamb spiedini was cooked well and delicious. I ordered the linguini to go and that’s where I made a huge mistake. The scallops were like sponges, shrimp was overcooked, and the noodles were so bland i was in disbelief. The lack of integrity in the meal made me question the rest of my experience but I will not rewrite history. I’m not sure who dropped the ball on that dish especially after reading other reviews but something has to be done especially for the price per plate.

The ambience and decor is really nice, I came here to watch the world cup games 🤗🤗 the servers were very nice, answering my questions and giving suggestions and being attentive. It was my first time at an Italian restaurant and they helped me a lot. W servers. As for food, i was slightly underwhelmed. The pizza was great, but the way the ingredients were spread out led to a densely flavoured areas and other mildly flavoured areas. For example, the anchovies were very strong and salty, but were put whole onto the pizza, so some bites would be extremely salty. The sauce wasn’t mind-blowing either. However, the crust was okay. Next, the pasta was slightly gummy, bland, and oily. It had a very strong dough taste and I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant before this so i dont know if thats the norm, but it was not very enjoyable. Maybe today was a bad day, but I personally don’t think I would return here.

Whether your strolling through the neighbourhood getting ready to do some shopping or heading out to work Sunset Grill is a great place to stop off and refill! Great spot nestled comfortably conveniently on Richmond Street close to shops and businesses. The place is spacey, clean and very comfortable. You're definitely want to hang out for a few hours and enjoy the great food, great company and excellent customer service. I had the pancakes, sausages, bacon, orange juice and delicious coffee. So if you're in the mood for some great breakfast then look no further than Sunset Grill! Enjoy! Your taste buds will be very happy you have chosen Sunset Grill. Also fabulous customer service!

Came here with some friends to grab a quick bite, and got the California eggs Benny with a cappuccino. The cappuccino was fairly good, and the eggs benny were alright, though nothing too impressive. The paprika was nice at least. The home fries that came with the eggs though were lukewarm and somehow hard. I don’t think they were undercooked, but they were just tough, like they had already been cooked up then stuck in the fridge to harden up, and were not fully reheated. They were effectively inedible which was disappointing. Additionally, our waitress basically abandoned us in our corner of the restaurant and didn’t come back for a long time after we had finished eating, when we were ready for our bills and also had other events that morning we had to attend. One in our party got up to ask another waitress to get our waitress for us, and even after that it was still another 10-15 minutes of waiting. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy, maybe only a few groups stretched across the whole restaurant. All in all, the experience was fairly mediocre. I don’t know if I would return, though if I did I’d have something that didn’t involve the home fries, and would also not come under a time limit.

I stopped in at Sunset Grill and really enjoyed my breakfast. The deluxe hot chocolate was amazing. It came with a big mountain of whipped cream and sprinkles on top, and it tasted as good as it looked. Sweet, cozy, and perfect for a cold day. The avocado toast was loaded with toppings. Thick toast with lots of avocado, tomatoes, feta cheese, olives, and red onion. It was fresh and filling, not one of those tiny fancy toasts. If you like strong flavors, you’ll love it. I also had the eggs Florentine. I didn’t get a picture of it, but it was tasty and comforting, exactly what you want from a breakfast plate. Overall, the food looked great and tasted great. It’s a nice spot if you want a breakfast that feels a bit special and not rushed.

Affordable, fast and a decent portion for the price. I had the eggs benny, nice big plate and a side of fruit for $14. My friend had a modified meal without toast or hashbrowns and got a nice side of coleslaw instead. The bacon was a nice thick cut. Service was really friendly. Little slow at first but then we saw a huge take out order come out, so perfectly understandable!

Quiet, wonderful service, scrumptious breakfast and good company. Early mornings are made for this. Love to eat here again and again. Great Coffee, great scrambled eggs and bacon and soft pancakes along with a large selection of fresh fruits. All this with great smiling service. What are you waiting for?

This place was great! The food was amazing, I ordered a Turkey & Bacon Club sandwich with French fries and it was delicious! The service was fast and our waitress was absolutely helpful and nice. Definitely a place to check out while visiting Toronto!

The service was good, the steak was ok, the burger was below ok (it seems like they are using Quinn's leftovers to make the burgers). The prices are ok, but I wasn't impressed. I will keep coming to the steakhouse, but not to the pub. And $2 for one piece of cheddar is absurd.
