5 Star Rating We went to Hangout with friends, and the whole vibe of the place was amazing. The food was really good—especially the nachos, which came in a huge portion and tasted great. The waiters were very professional and attentive. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating We arrived an hour early for our reservation so we could catch the start of the Blue Jays game. They were super accommodating. Moved us to a private area with a kick ass TV when 7pm came Service was friendly and food was great. Our reservation was for twenty made back in May. We were celebrating 40 years since our graduation and that pub made us feel like our twenties. Great fun and I don't think we were the oldest group. There was a line up of young people at the door when we left! Great evening. THANK YOU NEIL!!

5 Star Rating Must-visit if you like pubs. The layout of the house is maze-like and really fascinating, and each room plays a different kind of music, creating a different atmosphere. The people there were very friendly, and the menu items were also not overpriced. Best of all, entry is free!

5 Star Rating Came here for lunch after a class and it was a good time. The place is huge! Lots of space downstairs and upstairs. Many pool tables, juke boxes, slots, and bars to sit by. The beers were cold and smooth. I ordered a burger off the lunch menu and it was only $10!! I was shocked because I also got fries with it, you're not getting a meal at McDonald's with fries for that price, especially if you have to also order a drink like we did for the burger. The burger was decent and definitely better than the average fast food spot. I'd come back to try other things on their menu. I also had a tequila shot which they had decent options for a pub. Overall good experience I'll be back to try more.

5 Star Rating I’ve been to Madison Avenue Pub a few times for meet-ups, watching soccer, and hanging out with friends—it’s always a good time. The vibe during soccer games is unbeatable, with a lively crowd and plenty of screens. The food is solid—I’ve had the fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and fries, all consistently good. Service is usually great, though it can slow down a bit when it’s really busy, which is fair. Overall, a fun, reliable spot for drinks, classic pub food, and catching the game. Definitely recommend!

5 Star Rating I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and it did not disappoint. The pizza was incredible. The sourdough crust was truly an amazing experience on its own. Unlike most pizza I have had in Toronto, it was not burnt on the bottom which made a huge difference to me and I appreciate the attention to detail. The sauce and toppings were perfectly balanced and thoughtfully paired. The service was excellent and even Nonna came to check on us. It has a beautiful family atmosphere. I really enjoyed the vibe and the warmth of the staff. I will definitely be back hungry for more.

5 Star Rating I’ve been here soooo many times and it’s consistently one of my favourite Italian spots in the city. Everything is made from scratch with great ingredients. They’re known for their sourdough pizza and pasta, and I love that they’re always updating the menu with new ideas — new pastas, new pizzas — while also offering rotating specials. One time I had a liver and onions dish that was honestly the best I’ve ever had. What really makes it special is that it’s truly family-run: the owner is the chef and you’ll even see Nonna (the family grandma) in the kitchen cooking. With so many Italian restaurants in Toronto, this place really stands out for its authenticity and the care that goes into the food. Highly recommend.

5 Star Rating Best fettuccine carbonara I’ve ever had—no cream, just eggs, guanciale, pecorino, and pasta cooked to perfection. Rich, silky, and balanced. Family-owned place, with Nonna in the kitchen keeping an eye on quality, and owner Joe engaging with guests. Warm, authentic, focused on food rather than trends. Highly recommended!

4 Star Rating Wonderful little Italian restaurant super close to St George Subway on Bloor St. I don’t recommend going without a reservation. I ordered a gf pizza made with pesto and mushrooms. The owner came to make sure I was getting something that worked for me as I had asked for gf, no dairy and no tomato. Tough call in a an Italian place but as I can tolerate Parmesan the pesto was amazing. The pizza was piping hot and delicious Too bad they have no sorbet. Dessert is limited to two items: tiramisu and a cookie. I would go back knowing the limitations. The ambience is amazing and it’s obviously a very popular spot.

5 Star Rating We were looking for somewhere nice to eat downtown Toronto for brunch; it can be hard to find a good vegan option. This spot truly blew our expectations! Six of us walked in, and we were shortly brought to a very comfortable booth to sit together. Bo, the manager, was our server for the day. She was so energetic, accommodating, knowledgeable, and engaging. Then when we got all the food and drinks we ordered, we couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything tasted! Coming from two of us who weren’t even vegan or vegetarian, we were thoroughly enjoying everything we had. There was not one complain we could make. From the beginning to end, we had a blast. Thank you Bo and restaurant for a wonderful brunch visiting Toronto!

5 Star Rating WOW. Just WOW. This place absolutely blew us away. The food was next-level—packed with insane flavour, perfectly balanced, and proof that vegan food can be bold, exciting, and seriously addictive. Every bite was better than the last. The experience wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing team. Bo, the manager, is an absolute star—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have an unforgettable time. And Natalie, our waitress, was incredible. Her recommendations were flawless and made choosing from the menu so easy (and so worth it). Unreal food, top-tier service, and immaculate vibes. This spot is a must. We’re already planning our next visit.

My bowl included “tofu steak” which had a fun texture and flavour, different from the tofu I’ve had before. I also had the fresh ginger ale from their House Made Sodas menu and it was super refreshing, very gingery! Everything was delicious.

5 Star Rating whenever i feel like there's no hope in my life and everything is going wrong, i go here and get vegetarian orochong ramen with level 2 spice. it's very yummy, loaded up with lots of vegetables, and exactly the amount of spice i can handle. eating it is a visceral experience. sniffling, coughing, etc. fighting for my life. it takes my mind off of all that ails me. the best part is that despite how spicy it is, it miraculously doesn't cause me any stomach problems after. doesn't hurt on the way out. i suspect that may be because i need to drink multiple litres of water alongside the spicy broth though lol... dilutes the capsaisin and washes my worries away.

5 Star Rating Dined here on New Year’s eve which was super cold and rainy and this warmed us right up. I’ve always been a big fan of Kenzo’s and I’m glad that this location was consistent with the others I’ve been to. Ramen is flavourful and is a good portion size. Shio is a salt-based broth but not salty, just has a nice umami. King of kings ramen is a very big portion and the spice in the soup warms the belly. I’m a fan of the noodle texture here as it’s not too overcooked and I like that they serve bamboo in the ramen as most places don’t do that anymore. We also ordered the pork katsu on the side which was very crispy and not dry at all. The portion for this was also quite generous.

5 Star Rating One of the best fresh ramen dishes I’ve tasted in Toronto so far! It’s rich, and the taste is unique to Kenzo’s restaurants. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the order arrived at the table in no time. The only downside is that it’s a small space, and there’s sometimes a wait to sit down.

3 Star Rating The food was absolutely delicious — no complaints at all. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made us feel very welcome. The only reason I’m not giving a higher rating is because the place gets extremely hot in the summer. It really felt like an oven inside. I’d strongly recommend investing in air conditioning to make the overall customer experience much more comfortable and enjoyable

5 Star Rating I’ve been eating here since I was young child currently 36, I got introduced to this place when I was about 15 or 16 years old, being a young Torontonian. Travelling down into the city by subway In the early 2000s. Was introduced to this location by my cousin And it has become a ritual throughout my entire life. If I go to this section of downtown, I go to Burrito Banditos. I remember when it was once called burrito boys, but the owner split up one took the Recipe. The other one took the name. I continue to go to burrito Bandito’s because it’s the recipe that matters It’s then nostalgia it’s the umami flavour that warms your heart. Eating the burrito brings back childhood memories. Makes me feel young those feelings of nostalgia come flooding in on the first bite. To this day, I choose to go to burrito Bandito’s even living in the Vaughan area we have burrito boys, but they have ruined it beyond belief because they made it a chain not the niche burrito place I remember as a kid which burrito Bandidos still to this day lives up to what I remember and it’s so rare to find a place like this I can continue to provide the best service best food Best service best atmosphere. In a modern changing evolving world, everything gets bought and sold out as a chain franchise, I am still grateful to these people for continuing to provide the best service best food since I first found it. It’s original location with Richmond and Peter and the club district of Toronto, but With an evolving city, things change things fade out and it’s upsetting because me being a young teenager and a young adult going to clubs in the early 2000s this was the go to spot for food and the portions were amazing I thank this place for all the fun memories I have of this place and it’s original location

4 Star Rating It was a particularly cold winter night and the hankering for warm pho soup hit us when we were near Bloor and St. George. We followed Google's recommendation and went to Vietnam Lovely Noodle. And we were glad that we made that decision. The special pho tasted great, and the soup was very authentic. The laksa noodle had such a savoury curry base, it was flavourful and tangy. The fried springrolls had such a unique taste, they were thoroughly enjoyable. The surprise dish was the stir fried broccoli with garlic. The garlic bits were properly charred and aromatic. What a wonderful local gem!

4 Star Rating A reliably satisfying neighbourhood spot for Vietnamese noodles and hearty sharing plates. The kitchen shows clear skill with traditional flavours and comforting textures, and most dishes landed exactly where they should: well-seasoned, balanced, and generous. What we ordered and verdicts - Chicken dumplings: Tender, well-seasoned filling and a light wrapper; a clear starter win. - Chicken curry: Rich, fragrant, and creamy with good depth; comfort-food level excellent. - Chicken fried rice: Fluffy rice, nicely seared bits, and properly seasoned; simple but very well executed. - Thai deep fried spicy chicken: Overly dry and over-spiced, which masked the chicken’s flavour and stood out as the lone disappointment. Service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Noise level was moderate and suited the vibe. Portions were generous and prices reasonable for Toronto. Most dishes offered clear value, making this a dependable choice for both solo meals and group orders.

5 Star Rating Great food and not too expensive! Food - I have not ordered everything from Vietnam Lovely Noodle but I have ordered the Pho and one of the Curries. They are delicious. The portions are pretty large so you get a pretty good ratio between price and food. And if you cant finish you can always get it to go. When I was a student the curry was my go to meal either getting the rice or roti which was absolutely delicious. Food is also good to share with others. Service - Service are great they are kind and last time I was there even gave me free croquettes. Additionally, I would usually wait for a takeout order and they always offered me water and tea. Atmosphere - Atmosphere is good I would not say anything stands out I mean that in the best way. It can get busy but if you avoid peak hours you can catch the restaurant with not too much traffic. Overall - Good food, good price, kind staff.

5 Star Rating I visited Zaad while I was in Toronto, and it was such a wonderful experience. Being from Edmonton, I’m always excited to find new Mediterranean food spots that really stand out — and this one absolutely did. I tried a chicken pita pocket with salad and shawarma chicken, and oh my goodness — it was incredible 🤤. So fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. I also ordered falafel, and it was honestly some of the best I’ve had: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and clearly made fresh to order. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even offered a lentil soup to try, which was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the experience. They also made a traditional flatbread topped with zaatar and veggies, baked fresh — simple, comforting, and so delicious. Even though the place was busy, everything was handled smoothly and we received our food on time. The atmosphere felt like a true local family spot — warm, lively, and full of heart ❤️ Amazing food, generous hospitality, and a place that truly makes you feel welcome. If you’re in Toronto and craving authentic Mediterranean/Arabic food, Zaad is a must-visit. I’d happily come back again. 😊

5 Star Rating I tried their beef plate loaded with rice and a variety of salad toppings. It was a solid, voluminous plate at a reasonable price. The inside of store is super hot though, so it's better as takeout or eating on their outdoor patio area.

5 Star Rating Yummy and fresh wrapped dumplings. 🥟 delicious 😋! I had the mushroom dumplings and was tasty, I enjoyed their dipping sauce. If you can eat very very spicy, their spicy sauce is fire 🔥 . Service is friendly and speedy.

5 Star Rating I came here for lunch and ordered the DUMPLING BENTO box . Everything was delicious except the edamame beans were really cold. I wasn’t sure why when everything else was piping hot. the peanut chilli sauce is a must! They even sell merch and frozen dumplings to go. Not a lot of indoor seating, however they do have a few tables outside. The staff were not the friendliest. I first tried this restaurant at the CNE food building. I found it much tastier there. I would definitely return and recommend. They had fresh steamed buns which seemed pretty popular.

2 Star Rating Got take out…. Chive dumplings with peanut sauce and the cold noodle with peanut sauce. I had to assemble everything myself, nothing was warm or presentable. They sent old congealed noodles with plastic cups of sauce. This is low grade service and the taste did not make up for their extreme lack of effort. I could have done all of this at home. Save your money for higher quality food and a business that puts care and effort into their product!

5 Star Rating We tried this at the CNE and it was so good that we decided to go to the real store location! We ordered two bento boxes, one with shrimp and the other with chicken - they are cooked on the spot (dumplings are pre made but they will cook them to order) The dumplings are good, the dumpling wrap is slightly on the thicker side. The noodles are amazing with the peanut and chilli sauce combined. The only downside is that the Spadina location is small - the bar stools are not the comfiest and there is no washroom at this location - I wish I had the opportunity to wash my hands before eating. This location seems to function more like a takeout restaurant - not really meant for a dine-in experience. Lovely staff!

4 Star Rating Small, cute, cozy describes the place, but I - as a long time consumer of dumplings - found their offerings underwhelming. Flavors were decent, but not memorable. For a truly transformative dumpling experience I would recommend. TUMI Dumpling in the Junction. For a quick and easy bite if your on Bloor, this will do.
