For $7, you get an english muffin breakfast sandwich and fresh fruit. Not bad at all! The food tastes simple and homemade and was delicious. The lady working there (who owns it maybe?) is so sweet and lovely.
It’s a little place in the Grange village food court. Definitely worth a visit!

The food here is so yummy and fresh. The lady working here is the sweetest and treated us so well. We had a tuna melt and mushroom melt. They were both really filling and the fruit was so fresh. We were so full afterwards.
Such a great place!

We walked in what looked like a food court so at first we weren't sure. Breakfast was great! The lady who took our orders, was so cheery! It was refreshing. Breakfast was served on real plates, coffee in paper cups. Brought to our table was a bottle of delicious fruited water. Highly recommend!

I went with my wife, she is vegan and had a lot of options. The place is inside this big cafeteria area by the university so it’s pretty loud but the service was amazing and the food is the best I’ve had in a while!!!
There were options for both of us, so vegans and meat eaters rejoice. We absolutely loved it!
I got the meat eaters omelette and she got scrambled tofu and the pancakes and we got a bowl of garlic fries to share, and a green juice each. All was just stunning!

I came here many years ago (before the pandemic) and I was blown away by the pork belly
I finally got the chance to come back again for my mom's birthday for lunch. I am STILL amazed by the food here. The pork belly was still extraordinary! The chilli chicken here has a flavour that tastes authentic. It's the best chilli chicken in Toronto.
I know that they brought this cuisine over here and you can really tell that it can't be duplicated!
The service was very friendly and helpful. Everyone is really nice and the atmosphere is calm and spacious. I love this place so much! Thank you for sticking around

Really great spot for Hakka food, right downtown. The service here is exceptionally good. The food was amazing and came out very quickly. You can customize the food to suit your tastes so if you want something spicier or more garlic or whatever, they’ll do it. The space is quite large and can accommodate a lot of people easily. 10/10 recommend.

Pretty good hakka. Got the chili chicken (dry), crispy beef, and veggies. The crispy beef had a good sweet spicy taste, though not as crispy as I'm used to. The chili chicken was tender, though didn't have the same whallop of flavour as the beef. Brocolli was nicely garlicy.
Service was friendly and tried to create a welcoming environment. Prices are pretty good especially for the portion sizes. Place is spacious. Overall, a pretty good spot if you're in the mood for hakka.

One of my favorite restaurants in town right now. Large portions, high quality ingredients and cooking, relatively fair prices, great great hospitality, what else can you ask for?
Probably will not go back for their Manchurian or chili chicken/beef on rice, they are ok but definitely not the real gems of this restaurant, so far i am really satisfied with their other dishes like stuffed tofu, beef brisket and beef onion sizzler, they are all great.
Definitely gonna keep coming back for all other dishes, this place won’t disappoint.

Great Hakka restaurant in the city! Saw the TikToks on how great the food is and we had to try. We ordered the Chilli Chicken dry, beef and onion sizzler, and shrimp fried rice. Nothing disappointed! Flavour and spice level we just perfect. The staff are super friendly and fast. Even though it was a busy time, we didn’t have to wait for our food too long

Absolutely delicious sushi! Fish was fresh and tasty, servers are very nice and fast. We got all you can eat sushi on Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t very busy also place is pretty big. I’d definitely recommend this place for those who like eating more for less.

I’ve been here twice for their AYCE, and considering the price, it’s a solid and decent deal. I recommend dining during the AYCE lunch hours as it is more worth it. The hand rolls are a pretty good size, and I particularly enjoyed the crispy spicy salmon rolls and white tuna sushi. Service is efficient, even with a steady stream of customers. Also, their ice cream is good and a must try after eating your meal! Just a note: if you request the dessert, they may take it as a cue that you're ready to pay your bill.

Had a lovely chill evening sitting at the bar. The place is quite large and comfortable. I did not have a meal so can't comment on the food though the dishes that were served to nearby tables smelled really good. The servers were all pleasant, the bar man was great, my only complaint was my martini glass could be filled up more! I recommend this place.

Sin & Redemption strikes the perfect balance between cozy charm and vibrant energy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to lose track of time. Their beer selection is truly impressive, featuring a wide range of local craft brews and international favourites. The menu is outstanding—elevated pub fare with bold flavours and generous portions. Whether you’re dropping in for a casual pint or a full meal, Sin & Redemption never disappoints. Visited place 4 times now, and it’s definitely a must-visit spot for beer lovers and foodies alike.
PS. Fried Brie with blueberry jam and pesto flatbread is a must try!
Cheers!

Always enjoy coming here. The vibe is chill and welcoming. Very warm atmosphere during the night. The German sausage was superb and the fries were pretty good too! I don't usually like sauerkraut but it paired perfectly with the sausage. The beer here is usually a good choice!

Good price for decent quality sushi! The downside is that the dine in space is relatively small. So we actually commonly do take out which is super handy for us and they’re quick to pump out orders. The dinners we commonly order come with a salad and miso soup which we think is a great addition.
Janice Chu - 3 months ago
We came on a snowy Thursday evening and it was not very busy. We ordered tempura appetizers to start and each had a sashimi deluxe dinner and a sushi deluxe dinner. Each of the mains we ordered comes with miso soup and salad. Everything was well presented and fresh tasting. Not many set main dinner options to select from especially if you come for dinner. There are a variety of à la carte options to select from their menu. The restaurant itself is very tiny and not much seating space inside. There is also a considerable amount of wear and tear on the tables inside and only one waitress managing all tables and online orders.

Still my favorite sushi joint downtown. Not overly fancy but excellent quality fish and meals. Try the agedashi tofu, crunchy spicy tuna rolls, sea urchin sushi, or scallop sashimi.

I had pleasure to talk with Mr. Mamun. He guided me through menu and showed me around rhe whole buffet. Atmosphere was okay as well.

We went there on 7th Feb for winterlicios and trust me they had a huge menu. No one in the city give so many options for Winterlicios. Each dish was finger licking good. We had chicken 65 for starters. For mains we had Shrimp Malabar curry and chicken Tikka masala. They gave Chole, rice, naan along with the mains. We were so satisfied. We also met mamun who was so helpful there. He explained each dish and made sure we had no issues with our order. Mamun was also a very popular football player of Bangladesh, we were so delighted to meet him. Thank you for the amazing food and wonderful service. Will be definitely coming back 👍

Came here on 4.26.2025 for my brother's wedding dinner. The food and service is a 5 out of 5 for us. They have the best lamb dishes and palak paneer (very tasty). We were taken very good care of from Mr. Mamun. My husband doesn't eat indian food, but Mr. Mamun accommodated to his taste buds. It was a great evening. Thank you Mr. Mamun and The Host. We Will definitely come again!

I've been coming to this Tim Horton's store at 438 University Avenue regularly for a couple years now, and I have to say those night staff like Manveer, Bhishma, and Joe are very kind & helpful. Even the people working during the day are nice and friendly. The place is also clean and well decorated. I highly recommend this place. - Regards, Racine

A great location for those in the University Avenue area. The café is close to St Patrick's metro station, close to several bus stops, banks, shops and the AGO museum.
The display window is always very clean and organized, and the store is also very organized. They have good service, but during busy times, it can get very messy.
To provide good service to all customers, they have automatic opening and closing doors, tables adapted for wheelchairs and walkers, and an adapted bathroom. However, they do not have a menu in Braille.
The prices of the products are standard for all units.

Everytime I get a hot chocolate here, they only fill it about 3/4 of the way (picture included). Extremely disappointed in the serving sizes especially with how overpriced everything has been recently.

We recently booked Café Plenty for a corporate lunch at our downtown Toronto office and were incredibly impressed. The quality of the food was excellent-our attendees really enjoyed the variety, both in taste and in health-conscious options. What stood out most was how mindful and intentional the team was when it came to dietary and allergy requirements. They worked closely with us throughout the process, staying on top of updates to the menu and guest numbers. Truly great partners from start to finish. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again for future events!

The wrap I had was healthy and delicious; they used a good selection of fresh ingredients. The side salad was also fresh. The hot chocolate was a bit less sweet than I would have liked, but other than that it was a pleasant experience; a place for a brief respite.

I ordered the Turkey Brea Sandwich and Roobious tea. I usually don’t post reviews but the sandwich is by far one of the BEST i’ve had in a long time. The taste was so fresh and comforting. The cafe is aesthetically pleasing and the customer service is genuine and kind. I will definitely be going back!

Shady place.
Doesn’t have prices on the menu, went there expecting the sandwiches to be $6-8, turned out to be $14.
They don’t have prices on their menu.
The sandwich was like an airport sandwich dry and didn’t have much taste and too much bread in proportion to the filling.
It comes with a small side of salad which was decent but the dressing from the salad leaked all over the sandwich.
Go across the street to the food court, you will be much happier with the food

Nice interior, clean. Opens at 8am. Had a latte which costs around $6. Don’t know how much food cost since there is no price on the menu. But they do have a lot of selection of fresh sandwiches and pastries.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing! The amount of decorations everywhere and the vibe of the restaurant was something I haven’t seen before. Although the service we experienced was alright.
The Anago Don I had ordered was extremely good, along with the drinks that me and my friends had ordered. Side dishes/appetizers were pretty small but still very tasty nonetheless.
The service we experienced was alright. It was actually pretty good when we first came in, the staff was checking up on us if we needed anything, and the staff overall have such a great vibe to all of them. Although there were times when we ordered the Dice Challenge and none of the staff were coming, and when my friends did do the dice challenge he had never received his drink until we let them know that we’ve been charged for the drink by the time we were paying for the bill and preparing to leave.
Overall I wouldn’t mind coming back in the future, hopefully my experience with my friends was just a one off.

This has become a must-stop spot every time I am in Toronto. All dishes and drinks are phenomenal - the smoked salmon dish makes me salivate just thinking of it. I love the sharable sized servings so you can try a bit of several dishes. Will definitely be back again....and again.

I visited a while ago, but I wanted to take a moment to leave this review. It was a wonderful experience, featuring beautiful decorations and excellent food. I tried plum wine, sake tasting, and black sesame ice cream for the first time. The sushi was authentic Japanese, the beef tataki was absolutely good and the fried chicken was incredibly crispy. The show with the salmon was quite intriguing as well. My favorite part was the Taiko drum performance whenever someone arrived.

When you walk up the bleak hallway, you are instantly transported to a lively atmosphere! I loved the decor and the vibes of the place.
I will have to say that we had issues with the ordering system and our food didn’t get put through. The service was very lax and slow, and we had to flag someone down in order to get water. I got the beer that I’ve ordered.
I’ve never been to an izakaya before so perhaps that’s the expectation, but other customers had water offered to them.
I enjoyed the sushi and the eclectic bowls of snacks. If you come and order in time, they have some happy hour specials which were a great deal.
