It’s very convenient for travellers. I got the large iced coffee for a dollar and it’s really good. I did the survey on a previous receipt to get this deal. I also got a cheese croissant. It’s very average as there’s no taste of cheese in it. Next time I’ll just get a regular croissant and I pay less for that.
The girls at the counter are very pleasant and helpful. Service there is superb.

Where sophistication meets ingenuity. Only Tim’s I have been to that serves a croissant with the lower half wrapped in paper, highly sophisticated activities indeed. Dare I say superior to other nearby franchisees.
Also Tim’s is large and clean.

We went here for my wife’s birthday and to start we had the French onion soup which was fantastic and delightfully served in an actual onion.
The mains, tuna and pork chop, were reasonably tasty.
Lastly, the panna cotta was a strange combination of flavours and sadly was a miss for us.
Service and atmosphere were brilliant.

Canoe tasting menu review:
I liked the eccentricity of the selection - haggis and pig ear portions were more out there. However, overall the flavours did not impress me too much.
It started off strong with the oyster/truffle combo. The rest was a little more flat and dull. Pigs trotter dish needs improvement - ~5 pieces of pasta on a sauce that tastes like ketchup. Also, did not like the peas with the lamb. Dessert was great. Not sure where they draw their Canadian inspiration from though.
There are better tasting menus in the city. However, the atmosphere is great here and I would recommend to come for a simple dinner.

The atmosphere and service was incredible. The view was also remarkable. I went to celebrate my anniversary today and our waiter was absolutely incredible. The two critiques I have of the place are mostly in regard to the food. It unfortunately didn’t meet the expectations that would’ve been warranted by an $80 dish. The flavors were often bland and were missing seasoning - especially the lamb dish. The other little pet peeve I had was that I wasn’t informed about the cost of the water - I understand the demographic of customers is high end and money is not an issue, but it would’ve been nice to know that the small bottle of sparkling water was the price of a beer!

I made an advance reservation for the spring chef's tasting menu at $185 per person. It included eight courses from 9:30 to 12:00. Apart from the first course of oysters with black truffle and one later dish with lamb, I honestly had no idea what I was eating. The flavors were confusing—not bland but not distinctly flavored either, making it hard to describe whether it was sour, sweet, bitter, or spicy. The fresh ingredients didn't come through, and there were no unique flavors. I also felt unsatisfied, like I hadn't eaten enough.
This restaurant is only good for the view and some drinks. Don’t expect much from the ingredients or flavors. Also, the service was rushed. The waiter would chat briefly and then quickly move on.
Honestly, the food at the CN Tower was better. There were four of us, and including tips and taxes, the bill was nearly $1,000 (my husband was too kind and gave a 20% tip because we stayed late).
The hostess was impatient. Although we had requested a window seat when reserving, she seated us far from the window without asking if it was okay. When we complained, she looked annoyed and said we would have to wait for a window seat. After we agreed to wait, she came back in less than a minute saying it was ready. It was really frustrating.

The reservation process was easy and personal. We have one vegan in the party and the restaurant called me and noted a custom main prior to our arrival. Wow! Our server knew our party’s allergies and sensitivities before we sat down.
Food had creative presentation and great flavours. We ordered 3 courses for each person. Hit and miss with the food. See photos and captions! We were disappointed with the truffled wings which was messy and the 54-hr braised short ribs which were hard to cut, chewy and flat. We had a much better one at Signatures in Yorkville. Rest of our dinner was fantastic. We never felt rushed. 3 of us with no alcohol..$550 all in.

We hang out today with a friend that comes from France. And they wer ready for some beers 🍺 the place was kind of full for a Wednesday, but you know it's "Summer 🏝️" so a little bit of sun and everyone wants a patio. So we were 5 and got a table outside. Service was a little slow but good so far. Food was ok. Nachos good amount. My chicken parmigiana was good in flavor and amount. My friends got hamburgers the Smokey BBQ. They said was good. The only problem they could cook in the raw term was looking for. I guess for healthy reason. My fried likes literally bloody meat. Everything else good food. First time here.

Had a great experience here. Grace was our server and she was amazing!! Loved her energy, so attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We have some allergies in the family so she was able to help point us in the right direction. It’s hard to come across good servers these days so it was really refreshing to have someone who genuinely cares for their customers and you can tell really does love their job. We will 100% be back. Service is everything when I go out to eat. Food was great too! Highly recommend

If you have been to Jack Astors then you will know what to expect and if not then you come to the place that has the best chicken fingers you can find. Always fresh never frozen battered in house with choice of sauces and if a burger is your thing you can’t go wrong with the holy smoke BBQ burger.
These are just as good now as they were years ago, same good portion and same great taste. Great place to watch sports games or if looking to kill time before going to a game at of of the nearby venues, just be forewarned that it does get busy on game-days.

Chicken burger was dry, pasta was undercooked. The only thing good was the nachos. The quality has gone downhill over the years while the price keeps going up. Can’t believe all of this was around $80. Would however say that the staff was nice.

A good stop on your way to an event downtown. The service is usually fast and efficient, the food is good and you have various seating options. New menu items added recently and I don't recommend the pasta! I should've know better than to order pasta at a bar&grill though, that's on me!

First time at Jump and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed cocktails to start along with the Heritage Beet Salad which was so flavorful! We ordered scallops and lamb. Both were delicious in their own right. We moved over to the bar area to end our night with a few more drinks. Highly recommend Jump!

Great dining experience for lunch today. The Braided Sausage Rigatoni was very flavourful and Jump’s Classic Peppercorn Steak, was mouth watering. We finished the meal with a delicious white chocolate cheesecake. Of course we were happy to know it was Happy Hour and enjoyed some bevvies as well. Our server did a great job however was not very engaging. Oh well, I’d still recommend going to Jump.

I would have given more stars if I could. This is our second time coming here and it gets better every time. The food is amazing but the service is even better. At every turn our server Janus made the evening very special for us, just exceptional service. The kitchen staff also made our evening and our anniversary so wonderful, thank you so much to everyone working this evening.
Also the cheesecake is to die for.

One of the most reliable lunch spots in the financial district in terms of taste and timing. The portion size is perfect and very robust menu. I’ve been many times and always had a positive experience. I had the catfish again and it was delicious as usual.

I haven't been to Jump in a loooong time (~10 years). On this evening I came here with colleagues and client for dinner.
Staff was amazing and attentive. Decor and atmosphere was very nice as well.
Food was excellent. There were a lot of menu items I wanted to try, but landed on the seared scallop & Argentine shrimp seafood risotto. My only criticism is that portions weren't great -- but I guess this is quality vs quantity debate, or maybe I just eat a lot ^_^ For dessert I got the pear tarte tatin, which was amazing, but I couldn't taste much pear in it (but it was still good). I had colleagues who sang praises for the white chocolate cheesecake as well.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were able to get a seat quickly. We order drinks, appetizers, and meals. The calamari was tender and simply seasoned. The drinks were cold, and the service was quick and friendly. We split a meal, and they cut it in half for us with separate plates. We all left the meal enjoying the experience and would be excited to go back next time we are in town. If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍

The food was great. The buffalo chicken sandwich was great and we got some other food as well. The waitress was overly rude and not very nice. The lack of kids menu items was poor. No it is not really kid friendly restaurant but it is very good food . Plenty of tv to enjoy sports. I would go back because the food was very good. And the overall experience was good and would recommend.

Enjoyed a great meal here with my two sons. We were seated right away by a friendly staff member. Our waitstaff was polite and super efficient. We shared some nachos and I had the Gizzle which was an amazing cocktail. My son’s had the Notorious MAC burger, the other son had the Woody burger and I had the Loaded Truffle Fries. The portions were extremely generous. Will not hesitate to eat here again.

On a Saturday night, there may be a line at this bar, but it moves pretty quickly. We were a group of about 8 and they were able to accommodate us by pushing together tables near the entryway. We ordered some appetizers, cocktails, and pitchers of beer. The lemonade cocktail was refreshing. The guac and chips as well as the fries were nice vegetarian appetizers large enough to share. The environment has a lively and casual vibe and we had a great evening. There was a small conflict somewhere farther into the bar but the security escorted the patron out fairly quickly.

Came here to watch the euros and they had lots of TVs around. The atmosphere was pretty good but not too rowdy - small food menu but plenty of drinks esp on draft. The garlic parmesan fries though were just okay, a bit too soft and the garlic too overdone for my liking.

My first time here, and I feel like this is the place you go to after work in the Financial District in Toronto. I just felt like I was a sophisticated businesswoman, closing deals while eating good food and drinking yummy cocktails.
Came here for a retirement party, and the wait staff were fabulous! I ate the food too fast to take any pictures, but the drinks were great, and I love the outdoor space.
The bathrooms are an interesting layout, but you can fit in a little extra cardio walking down and up the 2 flights of stairs!

It was a very delightful experience. The price is absolutely worth the wonderful food.
• The Calamari and Octopus in Cashew and Coconut paste was so well presented and so delicious (4.5/5)
• The beef Burger was medium rare and juicy on the inside (4.5/5)
• Veal Schnitzel was extremely crunchy on the outside (4/5)
• The dessert was by far the by best dessert experience of my life. Caramelized popcorn with ice cream and cheesecake. The presentation in itself was wow. (5/5)

Bymark provided a commendable setting for a corporate lunch, blending a business-like ambiance with a menu that generally impresses. Located conveniently at the TD Tower, it offers the perfect backdrop for workday meals with colleagues and partners. The cuisine, except for the fish dish, met expectations, suggesting that Bymark is a reliable choice for professional gatherings where the setting is just as important as the meal. The restaurant's atmosphere, coupled with its satisfactory culinary offerings, makes it a suitable venue for those looking to combine business with pleasure.

The truffle fries, and tiramisu trifle were really good, however the lobster roll was a solid 3/5, didn't have much of a fresh seafood flavour as it was mostly mayo. The cappuccino i ordered was very watered down. Place is really expensive for the amount of food you get. The service was really amazing though

"En route to Union Station, I stumbled upon an unexpected culinary delight. This modest establishment, nestled discreetly along the path, boasted a remarkable selection of house-made soups – no fewer than ten! After much deliberation, I narrowed my choices to three, and to my delight, the affable staff graciously indulged my request for a tasting.
The lobster bisque ultimately captivated my palate. Striking a masterful balance, it delivered rich, nuanced flavors of the sea without succumbing to the common pitfall of an overly fishy character. This is a testament to the chef's culinary prowess. While the confines necessitated a hallway repast – a table and chair were fortunately provided – the experience itself was nothing short of delightful. Toronto's culinary scene promises much, and I eagerly await the opportunity to further explore its hidden gems upon my return."

So delicious. Wish they were in Mississauga Oakville area. My husband brought me the Jamaican crab bisque, was full of real crab meat. Can't wait to try more.

Unless you're getting crab, cajun sea gumbo, or lobster soup, don't bother. Whatever soup is left after rush hour is still available for a reason...

This place has one of the bests soups I’ve ever tried in my life. They were closing shop and offered me and my 2 friends complementary soups to go along with our purchase which we found to be so thoughtful. The staff is super friendly and they give off amazing vibes that resonates with the food they make. 5/5!!!

Love it! My go to is the burrito bowl, guac is a must! The chicken al pastor was very good and i love the salsa! I think it's faster to line up and order in person, the app was kinda slow.

I have an addiction. I’m coming clean because it’s actually becoming a problem. I have been enjoying Chipotle way too much and way too many times recently, so here are my two cents for recommendations!
Order: burrito bowl
Protein: chicken or steak
Rice: double white rice
Beans: black & pinto
Toppings: guacamole IS A MUST, mild tomato salsa, chili corn, double sour cream, shredded cheese, lettuce, Tabasco
During lunch times on weekdays, the line is MILES long. It moves relatively fast, wrapping around the entire restaurant, but somehow there are still always places to sit! Using the Chipotle app to order beforehand only saves a little bit of time, because they have to prepare the in-person orders at the same time anyway. DON’T FORGET TO SCAN YOUR QR CODE TO GET POINTS! The portion is filling and perfect for one person.
P.S. Someone save me from this addiction please 🙏

I wanted to try a traditional steakhouse but Bardis was old school in all the wrong ways.
The food was very underwhelming. Our salad was topped with bottled Kraft Italian dressing and our calamari was definitely those pre-cooked frozen ones restaurants just had to put in the deep fryer. The steak was not a great cut even though we get their most expensive one.
The decor and ambiance was like walking into a steakhouse from the 70s, and nothing had been cleaned or updated since then. Even the washrooms which are in the basement smelled like wet carpet.
With the city having tons of wonderful steakhouses, this is one of the last I'd recommend.

Old school steakhouse! The prices are reasonable and the Bardi's Special was a fantastic steak! Go big or go home with this one!

Admittedly I was hesitant to book a business dinner based upon some of the negative reviews. Our experience was nothing but positive. The staff were exceedingly friendly (and funny), and extremely attentive. Food and drinks were all excellent. Yes, the decor may be considered by some to be 'run down' but they are not understanding the old school steak house vibe of this restaurant. Highly recommend.
