3 Star Rating Okay, I know it’s not groundbreaking, but it is Canada, and Timmy’s hits the spot every time. Okay, yes, it’s a Canadian classic, but it really does hit the spot. We grabbed coffee and donuts more than once, and it was always affordable and reliable. Some locations had a few characters hanging around, but hey, that’s city life. Still totally worth it for the iced coffee and old-fashioned donuts.

5 Star Rating Where sophistication meets ingenuity. Only Tim’s I have been to that serves a croissant with the lower half wrapped in paper, highly sophisticated activities indeed. Dare I say superior to other nearby franchisees. Also Tim’s is large and clean.

4 Star Rating Had my first experience dining at canoe yesterday. We went for winterlicious because we thought that was actually a good deal relative to the prices of the original menu. On the winterlicious menu we got the beef tartare, the Alberta beef and I got the chocolate tart and my partner got the pudding. What I will say is the food is good, it was tasty, but also factoring the price in mind I was not AMAZED. But it was good. Also service was good, but also not amazing, the hospitality didn’t feel the warmest but not bad by any means. The beef tartare had a good amount of beef, it was a little bit salty but overall pretty good. I thought the Alberta beef was pretty good too, the mashed potatoes were very creamy and soft and I enjoyed the subtle taste of truffle. For sure get the medium rare and not the medium. I got a medium and it was kind of well done. For dessert I loved the taste of the orange in the chocolate but I do feel like the dessert itself was a bit hard. The view and atmosphere was amazing. Views are great especially during sunset.

3 Star Rating Came here for winterlicious. It's located on 54th floor at TD Centre, no doubt the view and the set up was stunning but the food and service were way below. I don't know if it's because of winterlicious but the whole experience left much to be desired. Food was ok but not memorable. I liked the beef tartare and pork terrine. Didn't like the Alberta beef, except the sauce Diane was good. Salmon was pretty standard. Chocolate tart was good, pavlova was very small. In general the portions were quite small for us in my opinion, we had to order some bread and fries to complete our meal on top of the set menu. Maybe having the tasting menu will be better experience than having winterlicious. Service was efficient but impersonal, as it was previously mentioned by other reviewers, there was little sense of hospitality. The overall experience didn't meet the expectations of a fine dining establishment.

3 Star Rating Winterlicious Review I recently dined at Canoe for Winterlicious and overall had a decent experience, but with several misses that would make me think twice before returning, especially if seated in the same area again. The food was generally tasty and met most of my expectations. The chocolate tart, while rich and enjoyable, felt quite heavy on its own; a simple scoop of ice cream would have gone a long way in balancing the dish, much like what Daniel Boulud does with many of his desserts. That small addition could have elevated the dessert from good to memorable. The beet salad, on the other hand, was underwhelming. It was fairly basic with minimal ingredients and didn’t bring anything particularly exciting in terms of flavour or texture. My main, the crispy pork belly, showcased the meat nicely and it was clearly the star of the plate. However, the supporting elements on the dish didn’t provide enough contrast or freshness to cut through the greasiness, which made the overall plate feel a bit one-dimensional.Service was another area that fell short. While our server did check in to ask if everything was okay, the interaction felt very transactional and robotic. It seemed like she was too busy to genuinely stop and listen, which detracted from the hospitality aspect of the meal. I do recognize that Winterlicious service can be hectic, but even brief moments of authentic engagement go a long way at this level of dining. My biggest concern, though, was the environment at our table. There appears to be a felt-woven ceiling feature above the dining area, and throughout the meal dust was visibly accumulating on our table and, worse, dropping into our drinks and food over time. This is a serious turnoff in any restaurant, let alone one that trades heavily on its premium image and stunning 54th-floor views. As it stands, I would not return if I knew I’d be seated in that section again, which is unfortunate because the view over the city is one of Canoe’s biggest draws. In summary, Canoe delivered on flavour in parts, but the combination of underwhelming supporting dishes, robotic service, and a noticeably dusty dining environment made the experience fall short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this calibre

5 Star Rating We had lunch at Canoe Restaurant, located on the 54th floor of TD Tower. The restaurant is known for its sweeping views of downtown Toronto, though on the winter day we visited it was quite cloudy, so the scenery was somewhat muted. The atmosphere was fairly formal and seemed to cater mainly to the executive crowd working in the downtown core. Service was friendly and professional, though a little rushed at times. We ordered the lunch prix fixe menu. For appetizers, we tried the stracciatella, and I especially enjoyed the roasted grapes, which added a lovely sweetness. I would highly recommend the smoked trout tartare—it was fresh, flavourful. For mains, the Atlantic salmon was good but nothing particularly memorable, while the confit duck leg was savoury but slightly dry. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch experience. Canoe is a great place to take in views of downtown Toronto from above—especially when the weather cooperates—and offers good food in an elegant setting.

5 Star Rating I took my mom to Canoe for her Birthday in December. It was absolutely a phenomenal experience. I booked an early time as their website said window seats fill up quick. I also made sure to indicate it was her birthday on the booking. They had a cute little sign on the table for her. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. When they brought the food to the table the explained the plate. The portion sizes were perfect. It's quality over quality at this place and after reading some of the other reviews it was clear some people didn't bother to review the menu or site before booking. An appetizer and entree filled us up and we split a desert. It was slightly more casual than I expected but again that ranged from table to table. Some tables were in suit and tie and some had people with hoodies. That didn't affect my dining experience though. Overall HIGHLY recommend to treat yourself or someone else.

5 Star Rating Great atmosphere with super lively Christmas decor! Our server lady was friendly and thoughtful. Adult meal took sometime to arrive but kids meal arrived quickly which I appreciate. Lobster poutine was absolutely delicious. I also ordered wings with coconut Thai curry sauce. The wings were not just with the curry sauce on the side but also was tossed with the curry powder. Without dipping the sauce it was already flavourful which made their wings tasty and unique. We only could find the main entrance with stairs so we had to pick up the stroller to go up and down. Overall experience was absolutely wonderful, we will go there again.

4 Star Rating We dined here after a Leafs game, it was a very pleasant experience with great food and love the atmosphere. I ordered the Chicken Parm and side salad, and while the quality of the food was genuinely good—it was delicious and well-prepared—I felt the portion size wasn't adequate, especially given the price point. The restaurant's standout feature was the ambiance. The Christmas decorations were lovely, and the overall vibes were nice and welcoming. Everything about the decor contributed to a great setting. However, the main area for improvement was the service. Our server was minimal at best and very inattentive. We barely saw him throughout the meal, and it was difficult to get drink refill. While the food was good enough to offset some of the frustration, the lack of attentiveness definitely took away from the overall experience. In summary, delicious food and a wonderful, festive atmosphere. I would recommend it for the quality of the meal and the decorations alone, but focus on improving the attentiveness of the wait staff and. 4/5 stars.

5 Star Rating We came Sunday night after the Aquarium with our toddler. The staff were excellent. Karolina was on top of everything. We ordered the smoked BBQ burger, Fish Tacos and a kids pasta. The burger and tacos were actually excellent! Perfect amount of heat. We don't handle spice well but they were perfect. Caesar salad was good. And they had a sour beer, jam up the mash on the menu. Perfect end to the evening.

4 Star Rating I came here for a corporate dinner, so the bill wasn’t on me this time — and I’m glad I had the chance to give it a try. The food was really good quality with great flavors, though I was hoping for something a little more memorable for the prices on the menu. Everything was nicely prepared, but nothing really stood out or melted in my mouth — except for the white chocolate cheesecake, which was absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and knew the menu very well. The ambiance was lovely too, with nice lighting and a relaxed feel throughout the restaurant. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, though I’m not sure I’d personally splurge on those prices if it were on my own tab.

5 Star Rating Jump is one of my favourite Oliver & Bonacini restaurants and have been here countless of times. Every time I need to impress friends and families, this is the place to be. Tried to come here again for their Summerlicious and everything is spot on - from the delicious food, attentive server, and modern and stylish restaurant decor. The restaurant is beautiful, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. Every dish here looks like a work of art, with its vibrant colours and artful arrangement. The roast beef sandwich was deliciously juicy and tender. My friends raved about this sandwich and enjoyed it so much. The roasted Atlantic salmon with couscous was flakey and moist. The coconut panna cotta is probably one of the best panna cotta we've ever tried. Everything is perfect with this dessert - soft velvety texture, creamy but not overly rich and just a hint of sweetness. It can be a little bit busy during lunch hour and noise levels are often higher. But it's not physically painfully loud that you can't hear your dining companions. We had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely return.

4 Star Rating What a gorgeous hidden spot in the heart of downtown! My wife brought me here to celebrate a key milestone in our lives and this place was just perfect. Firstly, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodate for varied requests. Starting with table selection, since we were there with our baby boy in a stroller and we requested for patio in our reservation, they took us out to the patio and asked us to choose which table would be most comfortable. We chose the perfect spot with great views and a light breeze. I had to change my baby’s diaper, so when I requested for the baby changing room, he immediately eacorted me to the accessible washroom and brought in a table to ensure I had everything with me to change the diaper. This shows how much they care about the comfort of the customers. Our server would keep checking in on us and would be quick with all our orders and requests. Secondly, the vibe and the ambience were so comforting that we lost the track of time. I highly recommend the patio, even though while you are arriving, you may think it will be noisy since it is close to Yonge Street but their patio design keeps the area quite silent. Finally, the food was excellent overall with some opportunities for improvement in their desserts - selection and their sweetness. Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure. Thank you team Jump! Keep up your amazing hospitality!

4 Star Rating Went to Loose Moose after a Leafs game and it was a solid spot to hang out. I really liked the low lighting and overall vibe inside. It felt relaxed and lively without being overwhelming. The food was good overall, though the fries were not my favourite and did not taste like they were fried to order. Service was fine, nothing standout but no issues either. All in all, a good place to grab food and drinks and chill after a game. Would come back for the atmosphere alone.

5 Star Rating Loose Moose / Antler Room is our go-to gathering spot downtown. The vibe is lively without being chaotic, perfect for catching up over great drinks and comfort food. We love the rotating taps, creative cocktails, and shareables—wings, nachos, and sliders never miss. Staff are upbeat and on the ball, even when it’s packed, and there’s always a good playlist (plus plenty of screens for game nights). Whether it’s a quick after-work meet or a longer hang with friends, it always feels easy, fun, and welcoming. Our downtown default—for good reason.

4 Star Rating Visited The Loose Moose recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The place has a lively and energetic atmosphere — perfect for a casual night out with friends. The ambience was excellent, with a rustic pub-style vibe, great music, and a welcoming crowd. It’s the kind of spot that feels vibrant without being overwhelming. I ordered the Calamari and Nachos to start with. The nachos were definitely the highlight — served in a good portion size, well-layered with cheese, toppings, and accompanied by fresh dips. They were crisp, flavorful, and great for sharing. The calamari, however, was disappointing. It came out as small fried rings, and the portion felt underwhelming for the price. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a good calamari dish. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a waste of money, especially when compared to the quality of other items on the menu. That said, the service was fantastic — the staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to check in and bring everything out in good time. It really helped elevate the overall experience. If you’re going for the vibe, drinks, and pub classics like nachos or wings, Loose Moose is a solid pick. Just be mindful when trying some of the smaller appetizer items. I’d still recommend it and would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

5 Star Rating Wed night walk-in and we decided to sit at the bar to grab a quick bite and libations. Amy at the bar was cute and friendly and we stuck with local lagers which included Canadian Lager and Moosehead Lager - both really easy to drink. For food, I got the Spicy Mexican Rice Bowl ($21.21) with Tofu tossed in Buffalo sauce - Amy's recommendation to toss the Tofu with something, and that did the magic! Big portion size, but good on flavor. I couldn't finish the plate though! Noise levels got louder as the night progressed and it was kind of difficult to have a conversation while seated at the bar. Perfect place if you are looking for some good drinks and bar eats!

5 Star Rating Soup Nutsy is a great lunch spot in the PATH for your lunchtime soup cravings! Although a bit pricey, it is absolutely worth it. Lots of variety in every category (Seafood, Meat, Veggie). I enjoy the Vegetable cabbage soup, which is a “lighter” soup but still fills you up and has lots of flavour!! Delicious. This location is inside the TD Centre, accessible via the PATH from union station through the Royal Bank Plaza entrance. Only drawback is that it is only open during the PATH office hours and unfortunately not open on weekends.

5 Star Rating Before I tried it I used to wonder why anyone would line up for soup. It seemed a little cliche, playing out just like the Seinfeld episode for which the restaurant is named. But then I tried it and fully understood. I went back the next day and have since gone back several times. Although the line up might seem long, it does move at a fast pace (after all it doesn’t take long for the team to scoop the soup into a bowl). You can avoid the line entirely by ordering in advance with the Ritual app. Try it once and you’ll be hooked!

3 Star Rating Bymark Toronto – A Little Oasis in the Heart of the Financial District 🌿 I had bookmarked Bymark for a while now after seeing it pop up on an influencer’s IG reel, and finally made it there for a summer lunch — and let me just say, the location does not disappoint. Beautifully tucked between the towering TD buildings, the patio feels like a calm little escape in the middle of the concrete jungle. We got a lovely spot right by the flowers, which really added to the vibe. While I was waiting for my friend (thanks to the eternal downtown parking struggle), I did feel some subtle pressure from the staff — those lingering looks and the “when will your guest arrive” energy was slightly uncomfortable. But once we settled in, the food more than made up for it. I ordered their garden salad paired with a glass of Prosecco Rosé — such a refreshing combo for a summer afternoon. The freshly baked focaccia was warm and fluffy, and my friend’s seared yellowfin tuna was perfectly done and full of flavour. That said, there was one downside — the service felt a bit too eager. Multiple check-ins asking if we were “still working on that” or if they could clear our plates began to feel a little intrusive, especially since the patio wasn’t full and the place stays open well into the evening. A more relaxed pace would have matched the serene setting better. One suggestion — it would be great to see a few more vegan options on the menu. Right now, there are maybe two or three at best. Would I return? Absolutely. For that unbeatable downtown summer vibe alone, I’d come back — maybe next time for cocktails at golden hour 🌇.

First thing I noticed was how unclean the location was. My friend and I ended up eating at Union Station because it was much cleaner. The seating at the restaurant is weird to begin with. Secondly, was the service. I did receive the food I had ordered and it was delicious. I appreciated the amount of food received in the bowl. 3 Star Rating Meh. I was excited to try Chipotle, as my son said it was great. So, I get in there, and notice almost EVERYTHING has cilantro in it!!! That is the devil’s lettuce! 🌿 The rice, the meat, everything. So, I ordered a burrito, and the strange thing is they grill the shell before everything goes in, and not after, so the cheese doesn’t melt? Weird. Anyhow, I got brown rice (with cilantro), refried beans, chicken (with cilantro), salsa (with cilantro) sour cream and cheese. It was a good size, I will give Chipotle that. But, without the cheese being melted, it was just ok. Don’t know if I’d go back. Also, tables were very dirty, and seating was limited. The only thing I really appreciated was the variety of beverages (as captured in the picture).

5 Star Rating Dec 13/25 visit. Great old school steakhouse, downtown Toronto. Quiet atmosphere, lots of wood trim & decor. Book a reservation for sure. Not a lot of tables. Short walk to Scotiabank for hockey fans. Steaks are great, quick and attentive service. Will be going back.

5 Star Rating Dined here recently with some friends and it was unbelievable! Not only the food being spectacular but the service is second to none. Jamie greeted us from the time we walked in the door to when we sat down, checked on us plenty of times to make sure we were doing well. He talked to us as if he knew us his entire life. It’s the little things like this that go in the long way To start we split the cheese bread which was to die for! Wow wow wow. Also got the jumbo prawns which is served with cocktail sauce. Our entrees were the 12 ounce New York strip, 10 ounce New York strip, 7 ounce sirloin. Sides were baked potato, fries. The steak was cocked to perfection, super juicy, full of flavour. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to try.

2 Star Rating My wife and I went here for Valentine's day. We frequent mid to high end steakhouses. It was not busy. The service was excellent and the atmosphere tho dated was pleasant enough and whats to be expected. Bardi's is priced below blue bloods and some of the other steak houses, but higher than the keg and silimar to Ruth Chris. The cuts were limited. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 medium rare. Although it was cooked to medium rare somehow it was very dry and lacked flavour. The sides of asparagus and brussel sprouts were very good. But the steak was not. Perhaps it was precooked? Or left under the warming lamps for too long.. I would sadly rank this at the bottom of the list for toronto area steak houses.

5 Star Rating We had a great time at Bardi’s celebrating our anniversary. The exterior is unassuming, but after stepping inside we found the experience to be quite elevated. The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. Great service as well.
