5 Star Rating I went to this particular Tim Hortons after my exams. It was really spacious, and the orders were taken pretty fast as there was no queue. There is a separate bar for Sandwiches and Wraps, the guy who did it was really fast and friendly. I hard ordered the Roasted Beef Sandwich, and French Vanilla the former was good, but the coffee wasn't that great. The place had a good interior and it was calm. Definitely would come again.

5 Star Rating My first visit here, on my husband's recommendation, as it's his favourite restaurant in Toronto. We ate with our son in law and daughter, who we haven't seen for some time, they live in Vancouver, and we, in England. So, it was a big occasion for us and I was hoping for a great experience! I was NOT disappointed, quite the opposite. Our food was sublime, the service attentive, knowledgeable and professional whilst being warm and welcoming, and the venue itself is contemporary, smart and really very tasteful. We ate every morsel of food, had wonderful mock and cocktails, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the magnificent views. The only thing I'd change? That it was on my doorstep. Compliments to the entire team at this incredible place!!

2 Star Rating I must say that our dining experience was rather disappointing. While the Chicken Wing starter was recommended by the server, the portion size was notably small for the higher price point. The Wild Pacific Halibut and King Cole Duck mains also left much to be desired in terms of portion size and overall flavor. Unfortunately, the food was not particularly memorable. Furthermore, the service was subpar, with our servers mixing up our main courses and failing to apologize even after being corrected. This lack of attentiveness was quite off-putting. Following our underwhelming mains, we found ourselves disheartened and uninterested in exploring the dessert menu. The only redeeming aspect of the evening was the stunning downtown night view, which provided a pleasant backdrop to an otherwise lackluster dining experience. Also, the seating arrangements felt cramped, and we could easily overhear conversations from the adjacent tables. This lack of privacy detracted from the overall ambiance and made it difficult to fully enjoy our meal. We encountered challenges when attempting to navigate our way out of the restaurant, as the layout seemed to contribute to congestion and made the departure process less than seamless. I would advise managing your expectations if you choose to dine here.

5 Star Rating We went and had the taste canoe experience, it was fantastic. Superb atmosphere with a great view of Toronto. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable we paid our meal with cocktails instead of wine and they made some excellent pairings. Last but not least the food plating was stunning and really brought and air of intrigue and beauty to some delicious meals. I would definitely recommend seeking out canoe for a great dinner experience

3 Star Rating The soup was excellent. The presentation of the food was excellent. And apparently the steak and frittes were terrific. The fish (salmon and halibut dishes) were extremely heavy for fish dishes. The service was very helpful but quite slow, particularly bringing out the coffees and the cheque. Overall the experience was consistent with my prior visits.

3 Star Rating Not my first time. Service was great and attentive, ambiance is always great but food was a huge miss this time. Apps were OK (tomato and the wedge salad), whereas the mains were very disappointing. My steak frites was massively overcooked to almost well done when I asked for Med Rare and chewy - I didn’t have time to send it back, and my wife’s pumpkin pasta dish was mediocre with hard to chew/raw pieces of it inside the dish. Perhaps it was because we had come in for lunch - but was a very underwhelming way to spend $200+ for a quick lunch.

5 Star Rating Our first time at this location. Thoroughly, enjoyed our lunch. Service was top notch. Staff was professional. Our waitress Layla was friendly and attentive. Did not have to wait long for the food. Ordered the lobster dip with pita chips and nachos. Dip was creamy and delicious. Wings were tasty and juicy. Fiesta salad was original and made with fresh ingredients. Overall had a fantastic experience. Would definitely come back again.

5 Star Rating It's been quite a few years since I've eaten here, and it was even better than the last time! It was a Friday evening, but we didn't have to wait long at all to be seated, and it didn't take long for us to receive our food either. The food was great, and so was the service. I would definitely eat here again, and I highly recommend this place!

5 Star Rating A great time was had at Jack Astor’s tonight!! I had no idea this location was so big. It’s so nice in there; I went for a work dinner and we waited 2 minutes before we were seated, no time at all. There were about 15 of us and I swear we barely waited for food and apps. The service was so efficient, no issues, just smooth sailing. Our server Nick was very patient, especially for the first timers, who had questions about the menu. I’ll definitely be back over the holidays.

4 Star Rating Visited for Winterlicious recently and enjoyed a tasty, upscale menu with a great experience to boot. They're conveniently located in Toronto's Financial District, with street-level access and indoor access both accessible. The food was prepared in a timely manner and all dishes were great - the salmon gravlax and Arctic char were delicious, as was the banoffee pie trifle dessert. Service was good as well and food arrived shortly after ordering - the staff definitely go above and beyond to make your experience a great one. 5 Star Rating We dined at Jump before a show at Meridian Hall, and we were in a bit of a rush. Our server was very accommodating, and he placed our orders right away. He made sure that we got all our food and were able to get out in time to catch our show. We were there on December 30th, and they had beautiful decor with gold and black balloons which gave us some photo opportunities. The decor and ambiance is gorgeous. And the food in service is impeccable. We had beef carpaccio, burrata, and scallops for appetizers and all three were hands down delicious. For main course, we had lamb, chicken el pesto and half chicken. I felt the lamb could use more flavour, but the other two dishes were so good. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

5 Star Rating Had a great date night with my girlfriend here. Heard great things about this place. The service is very good. The drinks were cold and fresh. The food is really really good. I order the nachos to start with guacamole and chicken. I also ordered the 2 pound wings, buffalo butter, hot flavor, which was amazing I would go back to this place just to order wings to be honest and I also ordered the chicken avocado club sandwich with a Caesar salad. Very good choice as well. I went during all star weekend and the staff were giving out free million Canadians mini pints which was a real cool experience. I will be coming back forsure, great atmosphere and Enviroment.

5 Star Rating A great place got a bite to eat or a great selection of beer. The proximity to Scotia Bank Arena makes it a nice post game designation. Prices are fair, service is good, food is delicious and there's plenty of space at the bar or tables. I had the chicken avacado club and it was fantastic. I chose a small Ceasar salad vs fries and it was a good selection; the salad was fresh & crisp with plenty of Ceasar tastiness. I would highly recommend this place to locals and travelers. It's a great place with a catchy name, what's not to like!

5 Star Rating We went to the Antler room (downstairs) one night on our trip since it was very close to our hotel and it did not disappoint. We had the best service and experience. We met one of the bartenders, Clay, who got out a map and was showing us where to go and where to avoid as tourists. He gave some great spots that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. We then came back a few nights later and again, had a great time. Clay is a fantastic bartender. This place has such a great atmosphere and vibe. 5 Star Rating Bymark provided a commendable setting for a corporate lunch, blending a business-like ambiance with a menu that generally impresses. Located conveniently at the TD Tower, it offers the perfect backdrop for workday meals with colleagues and partners. The cuisine, except for the fish dish, met expectations, suggesting that Bymark is a reliable choice for professional gatherings where the setting is just as important as the meal. The restaurant's atmosphere, coupled with its satisfactory culinary offerings, makes it a suitable venue for those looking to combine business with pleasure.

3 Star Rating The truffle fries, and tiramisu trifle were really good, however the lobster roll was a solid 3/5, didn't have much of a fresh seafood flavour as it was mostly mayo. 3 Star Rating Unfortunately, the second small paragraph of comments was from three years ago. Just went back yesterday (Jan 22,2024) got a very disappointing experience. The environment was still nice. The location is perfect. It nestled in the tall buildings of our well known financial district. But the food was horrible. We ordered two of the famous signature burgers, substituted fries with king mushrooms (tasted like leftovers) and brussels sprouts (overcooked and dry). After waited for more than twenty minutes, almost finished all of our drinks, the burgers came out, they were dry as hell, with only a bit of shredded lettuce in between. There was not a single trace of truffles. They did bring some shredded truffles out as an apology. But you could tell the truffles were not fresh. And they admitted that they used majority truffle oil. With that kinda quality of food, I spent $200 right there. Don’t think I’d like to go back again. One of the best burgers in Toronto! this restaurant’s truffle burger is so delicious!

5 Star Rating Before I tried it I used to wonder why anyone would line up for soup. It seemed a little cliche, playing out just like the Seinfeld episode for which the restaurant is named. But then I tried it and fully understood. I went back the next day and have since gone back several times. Although the line up might seem long, it does move at a fast pace (after all it doesn’t take long for the team to scoop the soup into a bowl). You can avoid the line entirely by ordering in advance with the Ritual app. Try it once and you’ll be hooked!
