Okay, I know it’s not groundbreaking, but it is Canada, and Timmy’s hits the spot every time. Okay, yes, it’s a Canadian classic, but it really does hit the spot. We grabbed coffee and donuts more than once, and it was always affordable and reliable. Some locations had a few characters hanging around, but hey, that’s city life. Still totally worth it for the iced coffee and old-fashioned donuts.

Where sophistication meets ingenuity. Only Tim’s I have been to that serves a croissant with the lower half wrapped in paper, highly sophisticated activities indeed. Dare I say superior to other nearby franchisees.
Also Tim’s is large and clean.

The ambience is great. Restaurants blessed with a great view often have a reputation of the food not measuring up to the view. That is decidedly not the case here. We opted for the chefs tasting menu. Everything was taste great and was presented with imagination. It was a substantial amount of food. Kevin, our server was excellent. He was both personable and professional. Would definitely go back again.

As the other reviws say, the food is completely average and over-priced but the view and service is next level. Overall,4/5 but the food definitely 3/5, so average.
I wentthrough the "summerlicious" menu and had 3 options of choice:
1)appetizer, I chose the the veal tatin and it was the worst out of 3. So bad, so small, nothing fine about that. 2/5
2)main course: Striploin beef. 3/5. The beef was really pro and wow, carrot was almost raw and bland. Mashed potato below average but there was a sauce which was a real Michelin sauce, so good, so rich but so little and most of that was absorbed by mash potato. They could serve it on table.
3) lime tarte. 5/5. Flawless, takes u to Paris. Wow.
Service:My server was the most polite person in Toronto and made my night. Remarkable polite and attentive.
Overall 4/5 but food is not worth the price, the view and experience, yes once a while.

This was my fourth visit. It's one of my favorite restaurants, with a great view, a clean and stylish interior, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
I used to really enjoy their tasting menu, but this time it didn’t leave the same impression. The plating and presentation are still beautiful, but the flavors felt less inspiring. Perhaps the slightly high price also influenced my feeling.
Since being listed as a Michelin‑recommended restaurant in 2022, something seems to have changed, and I felt a little sad about that.

I first went to Canoe for my birthday in February 2022, and went back again in September 2025. Cable's claim to fame is definitely the amazing view of downtown Toronto, the islands, and Lake Ontario beyond, and the view alone makes the trip up to the 54th floor worthwhile.
The highlight of my latest trip to Canoe was definitely the desserts. Although staff were very friendly, it did seemed like they were busy/rushed at times. Experience was different back in 2022, where it seemed like we got more frequent service, but I also question if I just look more fondly back on my previous trip due to nostalgia and it being my birthday celebration.

I had the pleasure of visiting a restaurant that truly deserves its Michelin star, and I must say that my expectations were not only met but exceeded! From the moment I walked in, I felt special – the elegant decor and cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting for a feast for the senses.
The service was top-notch; every staff member radiated professionalism and a smile, making me feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. The speed of serving the dishes was impressive, yet I could sense that each meal was prepared with the utmost care.
Now, about the food... The flavors were absolutely exquisite. Each dish was a true work of art that not only delighted the eyes but also exploded with taste. I felt honored to be able to try these culinary masterpieces.
Cleanliness and attention to detail also deserve recognition. In such a place, every element is well thought out, which only confirms that the restaurant indeed meets the highest standards.
In summary, my visit to this restaurant was an unforgettable culinary experience. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional flavors and professional service. This is a place that will remain in my memory for a long time!

I feel like the food here is always hit or miss watched two people walk out with full plates left on their table, but also watched random ppl after they left steal one of the chicken tenders I guess for them it was not great, but hopefully for the tender theives it was. For me however it was pretty generally good, barring on middling bar food. Can't go wrong with it.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The quality of the food here is incredibly good. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and asked for it specifically made spicy, they really did bring the heat. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients. Furthermore the service here is friendly and warming. Our waitor Mark was friendly and professional. Thank you for another excellent meal.

Jack Astor’s on Front Street is one of the best spots in downtown Toronto. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, making you feel comfortable whether you’re there with a big group or just stopping by for a quick meal. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with a huge indoor dining area, a lively bar, and a great patio when the weather is nice.
The atmosphere is clean, upbeat, and sporty it’s the kind of place that works for any occasion. Whether you’re meeting friends for a gathering, enjoying a casual date night, or just want to grab a drink at the bar while watching the game, it’s always a fun environment. Being right across from the arena makes it extra convenient before or after a concert or sporting event.
The food is good especially the memphis steak, which is always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Pair that with a good drink and the lively energy of the place, and you’ve got a go-to downtown spot that never disappoints.

We booked a table here for our group to have lunch before a theatre production at the Royal Alexandra. I'm very glad we booked in advance as there was a huge line to get in without one. Jays game brought a lot of people to the restaurant for a pre-game meal.
Service was not too bad, especially considering how busy it was inside too. Very chaotic, just trying to get to washroom, people bumping into each other, packed in tables...I get it, space is crucial to fit as many people in as possible.
I ordered a grilled chicken and goat cheese wrap with a ceaser salad. The meal was good, more than I needed and I couldn't take leftovers.
The volume of the music made it difficult to hear our table conversation, with just 6 of us at the table, I was glad to leave.

Jump is one of my favourite Oliver & Bonacini restaurants and have been here countless of times. Every time I need to impress friends and families, this is the place to be.
Tried to come here again for their Summerlicious and everything is spot on - from the delicious food, attentive server, and modern and stylish restaurant decor.
The restaurant is beautiful, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere.
Every dish here looks like a work of art, with its vibrant colours and artful arrangement.
The roast beef sandwich was deliciously juicy and tender. My friends raved about this sandwich and enjoyed it so much. The roasted Atlantic salmon with couscous was flakey and moist.
The coconut panna cotta is probably one of the best panna cotta we've ever tried. Everything is perfect with this dessert - soft velvety texture, creamy but not overly rich and just a hint of sweetness.
It can be a little bit busy during lunch hour and noise levels are often higher. But it's not physically painfully loud that you can't hear your dining companions.
We had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely return.

I had a fantastic experience at Jump Restaurant for their Valentine’s Day menu. The food was incredible—every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive, perfectly balanced and refreshing.
The service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great night with amazing food and drinks, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a gorgeous hidden spot in the heart of downtown! My wife brought me here to celebrate a key milestone in our lives and this place was just perfect.
Firstly, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodate for varied requests. Starting with table selection, since we were there with our baby boy in a stroller and we requested for patio in our reservation, they took us out to the patio and asked us to choose which table would be most comfortable. We chose the perfect spot with great views and a light breeze. I had to change my baby’s diaper, so when I requested for the baby changing room, he immediately eacorted me to the accessible washroom and brought in a table to ensure I had everything with me to change the diaper. This shows how much they care about the comfort of the customers. Our server would keep checking in on us and would be quick with all our orders and requests.
Secondly, the vibe and the ambience were so comforting that we lost the track of time. I highly recommend the patio, even though while you are arriving, you may think it will be noisy since it is close to Yonge Street but their patio design keeps the area quite silent.
Finally, the food was excellent overall with some opportunities for improvement in their desserts - selection and their sweetness.
Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure. Thank you team Jump! Keep up your amazing hospitality!

Lovely restaurant. Came here with my colleagues and enjoyed the Winterlicious menu. Ambience and service was great too. However, if you are not a sweet tooth, don’t ask for the Chocolate pudding. that stuff was toooo sweet, i took 1* away for that. Otherwise, I definitely recommend.

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by our server, who was unwelcoming. Additionally, the dessert was underwhelming, and the soup was quite basic. While there were some positives, the service and food quality left much to be desired.

Loose Moose / Antler Room is our go-to gathering spot downtown. The vibe is lively without being chaotic, perfect for catching up over great drinks and comfort food. We love the rotating taps, creative cocktails, and shareables—wings, nachos, and sliders never miss. Staff are upbeat and on the ball, even when it’s packed, and there’s always a good playlist (plus plenty of screens for game nights). Whether it’s a quick after-work meet or a longer hang with friends, it always feels easy, fun, and welcoming. Our downtown default—for good reason.

Visited The Loose Moose recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The place has a lively and energetic atmosphere — perfect for a casual night out with friends. The ambience was excellent, with a rustic pub-style vibe, great music, and a welcoming crowd. It’s the kind of spot that feels vibrant without being overwhelming.
I ordered the Calamari and Nachos to start with. The nachos were definitely the highlight — served in a good portion size, well-layered with cheese, toppings, and accompanied by fresh dips. They were crisp, flavorful, and great for sharing.
The calamari, however, was disappointing. It came out as small fried rings, and the portion felt underwhelming for the price. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a good calamari dish. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a waste of money, especially when compared to the quality of other items on the menu.
That said, the service was fantastic — the staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to check in and bring everything out in good time. It really helped elevate the overall experience.
If you’re going for the vibe, drinks, and pub classics like nachos or wings, Loose Moose is a solid pick. Just be mindful when trying some of the smaller appetizer items. I’d still recommend it and would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

Wed night walk-in and we decided to sit at the bar to grab a quick bite and libations. Amy at the bar was cute and friendly and we stuck with local lagers which included Canadian Lager and Moosehead Lager - both really easy to drink.
For food, I got the Spicy Mexican Rice Bowl ($21.21) with Tofu tossed in Buffalo sauce - Amy's recommendation to toss the Tofu with something, and that did the magic! Big portion size, but good on flavor. I couldn't finish the plate though!
Noise levels got louder as the night progressed and it was kind of difficult to have a conversation while seated at the bar. Perfect place if you are looking for some good drinks and bar eats!

After a day trip to Niagara Falls, I hopped on the two-hour train back to Toronto, arriving at Union Station around 7:45 pm. Hungry, thirsty, and in need of a good spot, I wandered just 150 meters from the station — and there it was: The Loose Moose.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stumbled upon a gift from the gods. I ordered their loaded nachos with extra guacamole, plus BBQ chicken. My friend went for the “Woods” Burger. Every bite was spot on — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The sauces they serve with each dish aren’t just an afterthought; they elevate the whole experience.
The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the staff are nothing short of excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick to make you feel at home. Then there are the beers. If anyone doubts Canada’s brewing game, The Loose Moose is the place to set them straight. The variety and quality on tap are impressive, with something for every taste.
Whether you’re just off the train or exploring downtown, this spot delivers on food, drink, and good vibes. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.

We came here before we went to the leafs game. Good vibe in here & our server was very kind & knowledgeable. Rubbed us the wrong way that they were shutting down the entire restaurant at 6:15 for the games playing when they have a full upstairs as well as downstairs. Other than that, our food was good!

Soup Nutsy is a great lunch spot in the PATH for your lunchtime soup cravings!
Although a bit pricey, it is absolutely worth it. Lots of variety in every category (Seafood, Meat, Veggie). I enjoy the Vegetable cabbage soup, which is a “lighter” soup but still fills you up and has lots of flavour!! Delicious.
This location is inside the TD Centre, accessible via the PATH from union station through the Royal Bank Plaza entrance.
Only drawback is that it is only open during the PATH office hours and unfortunately not open on weekends.

My partner and I had an absolutely amazing experience! From when we got there untill the time we left. The hostess that greeted us was super friendly and kind. We sat downstairs in the dining room. The restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous. It wasn’t super busy, so it made for a wonderful birthday celebration, we didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t have to fight the noise of a pack restaurant. . Our server was amazing. The food, phenomenal!! The quality superior.! I’d definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant for anyone looking have a nice night out. Thank you to everyone for making this special.

A pretty solid spot in the financial district. We ordered steak, a few appetizers, crab meat tacos, and sea bass—everything was fresh and well-prepared. The outdoor seating is a big plus when summer’s here. Prices are on the higher side, but overall it’s a nice experience.

Bymark Toronto – A Little Oasis in the Heart of the Financial District 🌿
I had bookmarked Bymark for a while now after seeing it pop up on an influencer’s IG reel, and finally made it there for a summer lunch — and let me just say, the location does not disappoint. Beautifully tucked between the towering TD buildings, the patio feels like a calm little escape in the middle of the concrete jungle.
We got a lovely spot right by the flowers, which really added to the vibe. While I was waiting for my friend (thanks to the eternal downtown parking struggle), I did feel some subtle pressure from the staff — those lingering looks and the “when will your guest arrive” energy was slightly uncomfortable.
But once we settled in, the food more than made up for it. I ordered their garden salad paired with a glass of Prosecco Rosé — such a refreshing combo for a summer afternoon. The freshly baked focaccia was warm and fluffy, and my friend’s seared yellowfin tuna was perfectly done and full of flavour.
That said, there was one downside — the service felt a bit too eager. Multiple check-ins asking if we were “still working on that” or if they could clear our plates began to feel a little intrusive, especially since the patio wasn’t full and the place stays open well into the evening. A more relaxed pace would have matched the serene setting better.
One suggestion — it would be great to see a few more vegan options on the menu. Right now, there are maybe two or three at best.
Would I return? Absolutely. For that unbeatable downtown summer vibe alone, I’d come back — maybe next time for cocktails at golden hour 🌇.

Terrible service and food was not worth it.
It was really empty on a Saturday night, maybe 3 or 4 tables in the entire restaurant at 7:30pm.
Waiter tried to be pleasant but it felt like he wanted to rush the service and go home. We asked him at 8:15pm what time they closed and he said kitchen closes at 9pm. He kept spilling our bottled sparkling water all over the table (dumping the entire bottle into a glass and seemed to be rushing even though there were no other tables to serve). He brought 5 or 6 bottles of sparkling water and just kept pouring and spilling it.
We ordered 2 of the grilled octopus but they gave more squid than octopus. Better to buy it at Costco and make it myself. The donut dessert was terrible. It did not look anything like the other reviews. All the donut pieces were on one side of the plate like someone didn't balance the plate properly. I didn't take a photo as it looked terrible!
I had been here a few times before but this may be my last as the service definitely went downhill and the food- definitely not worth it anymore. Our bill was $1100 but just felt it wasn't quite worth it. This was a pre-birthday celebrate for me but I felt disappointed. Looking forward to where we are going on my real birthday where I will post another review.

Even with the nice location and ambiance, the food doesn’t justify the price.
The shrimp pasta and the green salad was good but the meatball pasta was way too salty and the wagyu dumpling was very disappointing. Any frozen dumpling from tnt would taste better. The service was okay, though it could have been a bit more attentive.

I was excited to finally try Chipotle after months of seeing videos online. I was in a hurry and needed to eat dinner quickly so that I could take the train home. First thing I noticed was how unclean the location was. My friend and I ended up eating at Union Station because it was much cleaner. The seating at the restaurant is weird to begin with. Secondly, was the service. I did receive the food I had ordered and it was delicious. I appreciated the amount of food received in the bowl. I hope that in the future, this particular location improves on cleanliness and service.

Meh. I was excited to try Chipotle, as my son said it was great. So, I get in there, and notice almost EVERYTHING has cilantro in it!!! That is the devil’s lettuce! 🌿 The rice, the meat, everything. So, I ordered a burrito, and the strange thing is they grill the shell before everything goes in, and not after, so the cheese doesn’t melt? Weird. Anyhow, I got brown rice (with cilantro), refried beans, chicken (with cilantro), salsa (with cilantro) sour cream and cheese. It was a good size, I will give Chipotle that. But, without the cheese being melted, it was just ok. Don’t know if I’d go back. Also, tables were very dirty, and seating was limited. The only thing I really appreciated was the variety of beverages (as captured in the picture).

Dined here recently with some friends and it was unbelievable!
Not only the food being spectacular but the service is second to none. Jamie greeted us from the time we walked in the door to when we sat down, checked on us plenty of times to make sure we were doing well. He talked to us as if he knew us his entire life. It’s the little things like this that go in the long way
To start we split the cheese bread which was to die for! Wow wow wow. Also got the jumbo prawns which is served with cocktail sauce.
Our entrees were the 12 ounce New York strip, 10 ounce New York strip, 7 ounce sirloin. Sides were baked potato, fries. The steak was cocked to perfection, super juicy, full of flavour.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to try.

I wanted to try a traditional steakhouse but Bardis was old school in all the wrong ways.
The food was very underwhelming. Our salad was topped with bottled Kraft Italian dressing and our calamari was definitely those pre-cooked frozen ones restaurants just had to put in the deep fryer. The steak was not a great cut even though we get their most expensive one.
The decor and ambiance was like walking into a steakhouse from the 70s, and nothing had been cleaned or updated since then. Even the washrooms which are in the basement smelled like wet carpet.
With the city having tons of wonderful steakhouses, this is one of the last I'd recommend.
