This mall has been part of my life since childhood, and it’s still a great place to shop. It has all the essentials, with mostly affordable options and a few nicer finds. I love that it includes stores like No Frills, Walmart, and Winners—so you don’t have to overspend like at many malls these days. Overall, good vibes and a nice spot to hang out and spend some time.

Dufferin Mall has always held a special place in my heart. I still occasionally pop in to browse the New York Fries and Swiss Chalet food courts, where I buy clothes and eat. The mainstays like Walmart, No Frills, H&M, and Winners are still there, making everyday shopping convenient, especially the supermarket and discount sections which offer great value. With new stores like JD Sports and Swarovski moving in, it feels like an upgrade, but overall it retains that familiar neighborhood mall atmosphere. The food court, while not having a huge selection, is practical enough, and I fondly remember occasionally grabbing a cheap fast food meal there. Unfortunately, the changes in recent years have left me somewhat disappointed. The mall is noticeably less crowded than before, especially during weekdays; the corridors are empty, lacking the vibrancy of yesteryear. Some old shops are gone, like Toys R Us, which recently closed, instantly wiping away my memories of shopping for toys. Smaller shops, jewelry stores, and luggage shops have also disappeared, and the new brands that have replaced them don't seem to have the same soul. The mall feels somewhat stagnant; the renovations and cleanliness haven't kept pace, and the restrooms and entrance areas occasionally look a bit worn. Parking is a major problem. Street parking (on Dufferin St and Croatia St) is always impossible to find, and while the underground parking is free, space is limited, making it difficult to find a spot during peak hours. The mall has more than one entrance (main entrance, Walmart side entrance, and several street entrances), but the signage is unclear, making it easy to get lost, especially for first-time visitors or those with inaccurate navigation.

I had a wonderful shopping day at Dufferin Mall today! Everything was so convenient in one place. I found a beautiful dress and was very happy with my purchase. After that, I stopped by Walmart and got all the groceries I needed — quick and easy. The whole experience was comfortable, organized, and enjoyable. Definitely a great place for a productive and pleasant shopping trip!

Was looking for the nearest Walmart, and this place came up. The mall could do with more cleaning at the entrance areas. Was able to buy what I was looking for at Walmart, which was good. Had a meal at the Jerk King from the food court, which was very tasty and hot. Looked around and grabbed a few household items as well.

The good ol' dirty duff! Not so much anymore, this place has cleaned up a lot. They've got nicer shops here now like Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger and JD sports. It's a great place to grab whatever your heart desires...even beer! They have a beer store outside which has one of the biggest walk-ins I've seen. I've heard rumors that the new owners also run Yorkdale, so it'll just get nicer as time passes.
