Rogers Centre stadium (formerly Skydome) is home field for the Toronto Argonauts football team and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. It also hosts many other events throughout the year including concerts, monster truck shows, and trade shows.

This world class, first of its kind stadium features a fully retractable domed roof allowing fans to enjoy an outdoor venue when weather allows while being fully protected from the elements during unpleasant weather. The roof can be fully opened or closed in just 20 minutes. When the roof is closed it is 282 feet or 31 stories high at the centre. The stadium itself is 700 feet in diameter. The stadium can accommodate up to 50,000 spectators. The complex includes a Renaissance Hotel which has 70 rooms overlooking the field.

Even if you are not able to attend an event at Rogers Centre, guided tours are available for a fee. Tour schedules work around the events schedule so you should call 416-341-2771 to confirm times, however there are hourly tours on most weekdays from 11am until 4pm (3pm on Fridays) and on some weekends. Rogers Centre is conveniently located very close to Union Station and the CN Tower in Downtown Toronto. For additional information about Rogers Centre and upcoming events see their official site below.

Rogers Centre Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 Star Rating

5 Star Rating I'm a NY Yankees fan from upstate NY. I always try to get to Toronto every year for a couple games. Great ballpark to see a game. Seats on 100 level are usually what I get, and they have a great view. Nice selection of concessions. Was there in July for Loonie Hotdog Night. Can't beat hotdogs for a dollar. 😃. Blue Jays fans are great and very welcoming. Night game with the dome open provided a cool view of the CN Tower.
