Scarborough Town Centre is a large mall located in Scarborough. In 1985 the Scarborough Light Rapid Transit Line opened connecting this large and popular suburban mall directly to the Toronto subway system.
First opened in 1973, this mall has expanded over the years to the 1.3 million square feet giant it is today and it now boasts over 200 stores and services. Major stores and services include The Bay, Sears, Wal-Mart, Old Navy and a Cineplex Theatre complex. It also has an updated food court.
