Yorkdale Mall is a large upscale shopping mall featuring over 240 stores and services in 1.6 million square feet which puts it at the 6th largest mall in Canada. Since it is directly connected to Yorkdale Station, it is very convenient to get to by public transit.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is considered one of the trendiest fashion outlets in the Greater Toronto Area, but its 240 plus stores offer much more than just fashion. Anchor stores include The Bay, Holt Rentfrew, Tiffany & Co, SportChek and Old Navy. The Mall also features a Silver City Cinema complex, a food court and several restaurants. Yorkdale Mall also leads the country in technology related stores. It is home to both the first Apple Store, and more recently, the first Microsoft Store in Canada.

When the mall first opened in 1964 it had 110 stores. Since opening, it has undergone an expansion project in 1970 and a major expansion and face lift in 2005 which includes a 300 foot long 60 foot high glass atrium. Even more expansions are planned in the coming years.

Yorkdale Mall Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 Star Rating

4 Star Rating The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff who are quick to take your order and prepare drinks with care. Sometimes they are hesitant to help the guest with the order during the suggestion. It had a wait time as the place was crowded and I decided to try their Brown Sugar milk tea, and it did not disappoint. The flavor was rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of sweetness from the brown sugar syrup and chewiness from the boba pearls. The pearls were fresh, soft, and had that satisfying texture that makes bubble tea so addictive. What impressed me most was the consistency — every sip tasted just as good as the last. The presentation was also appealing, served in a sturdy cup with the signature Chatime branding. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the menu offers plenty of variety if you want to explore other flavors. Overall, Chatime is a great spot for bubble tea lovers, and I’ll definitely be back!

5 Star Rating Yorkdale Shopping Centre is probably my favourite mall to shop at. I’ve never had trouble finding a store because it has such a wide range of options. Some of my favourites are Indigo, Old Navy, Nike, and many others. It also has a Cineplex inside. I’d recommend visiting whether you want to shop for clothes, browse different stores, walk around, or enjoy a nice meal with friends or on your own.
