I have been to 3 Brasseurs many times in Montreal. On Saint John Baptiste Day, I visited this branch with my best friend. The restaurant was quite full, and although the second floor had some empty tables, the waitress said we couldn’t be seated there, so we were placed near the entrance, which was very inconvenient as people kept bumping into our table.
My friend ordered the feta pizza and was happy with it and the four-flavour beer sampler. I had a regular burger with sweet potato fries (extra charge), but the burger was bland, and the fries were not very tasty. I also ordered the four beers.
The waiter was kind but not very attentive. Despite being unhappy with the food and our table, I still left a 15% tip.
I understand that on busy days these places get crowded and it’s more challenging, but in the customer service industry, we expect good food and service for what we pay.
I love this restaurant, but my experience at this branch was not very pleasant.

This chain is popular throughout Montreal. The food is solid bar/pub style food. It's tasty but nothing mind blowing. But it's good enough that I've been back many times.
The service is usually friendly but can be a little slow depending on the time of day.
The beers are brewed in house and are quite good.

Great food, service, and a good selection of wine. They do specialize in beers, but I prefer wine. So I ordered their specialty, the Flamm Classic. It tasted the same as the last time I was there 20 years ago. The outdoor patio is very nice and clean, and they brought a bowl of water without asking for it. Good price too!

A True Taste of Mexico—and Hospitality—at 3 Amigos
From the moment we walked in, we knew this would be more than just a meal—it was an experience. The vibrant energy, the colorful dishes, the flavor-packed plates, and above all, the genuine hospitality made this visit unforgettable.
We tried a range of dishes—from the beautifully seasoned Grilled Chicken Bowl layered with rice, beans, guac, and greens, to the crispy Chimichanga Platter served in rich sauce with fluffy rice and fresh salad. The Taco Salad Bowl was a work of art, overflowing with flavor and color, and the Loaded Nachos were a bold, satisfying mess in the best way. Every item brought its own flair, and we loved how fresh and thoughtful everything felt.
And then there were the drinks. Whether it was the minty mojito or the show-stopping beer-rita with the bottle turned upside down, every sip kept the fiesta alive.
But the real highlight of our visit? Rose.
Rose is a gem—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her warmth made us feel like family. She went above and beyond to ensure our table was taken care of, and her friendly smile added just the right touch of hospitality that truly sets 3 Amigos apart. It’s people like Rose who turn great restaurants into places you want to return to again and again.
Tanya also deserves a special mention—she was cheerful, helpful, and brought such positive energy to our table. Her attention to detail and easygoing nature made everything flow smoothly and joyfully.

Hello to Mexican food lovers 😊
Not only the name but the food taste is equally best. Every food that I ordered was yummy and properly organized. The atmosphere is the best part of the restaurant. You will enjoy it so much. You should visit once. The photos that I posted below are of two different locations. I feel quartier Latin is preferable, here staff are more cooperative and well-behaved compared to centre ville (1657 Saint-Catherine St W, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1L9). Be careful for flying insects in centre ville. I found two flying insects in my dish. Other than that, all was good. Must visit once.

Food was great and so was the ambience! We asked for some hot sauce but never got any. Service was fine, a little slow. Margaritas were amazing! Highly recommend the drinks!

Food was tasty and huge portions, as expected from 3 Amigos. Things I like about this location is no waiting and no loud music. But this place could use a little more cleanliness.

Hadn’t visited a 3 amigos in over 10 yrs! I remember it being more flavourful but it was still good.. not authentic enough imo. Our waitress was great and very nice but the resto was almost empty and everything took long. Overall still a good experience but not sure how soon ill go back

Dates of visits: Feb. 14, 2024 and Sept. 17, 2024.
We came in for my husband's Birthday on a Tuesday night (Sept. 17). We made a reservation but the place isn't very busy so I guess walk-ins are possible. However during Valentine's Day it was a must to make reservations so I'm glad I did. We love both times we visited.
Food is delicious. There are more food choices at dinner but both lunch and dinner options are pretty good for the price. I'd say food was continuously consistent in terms of taste and freshness (sushi).
Dining place is clean but the CR not so much. The first time we came (Valentine's Day) it is clean but last September 17 it wasn't.
Staff are very accommodating on both times we went so we are very happy with them.
We will definitely come back again!!! This has become our favorite go to place if we want an AYCE.
Price for 3 pax including taxes and tips came to $151.

It was great. We brought the kids for lunch and they really enjoyed the sushi! My wife isn't a sushi fan, so she, on the other hand, regaled herself on all of the non sushi food. Definitely going back, just not on a cold winter day, as the kids were cold inside.

This is a great little sushi restaurant in Montreal. The restaurant is very nice and clean with a good atmosphere. The food came out very quickly and tasted very good. The fish tasted fresh and all the ingredients were high quality. My waiter seemed a little cold but I think that was because he did not speak english very well. The manager Noy was very friendly and talk with me for a bit after I finished my meal. I think the best thing about this restaurant were their prices which were very good for sushi in Montreal. I overall would recommend this place if you like sushi.

For a table of 3 we ordered 2 dishes from each the first and second course, then ordered 1 dish to share from the third course. I will say, while I know they’re a “bring your own wine restaurant”, the menu very much feels like it was designed WITHOUT a wine pairing in mind. That is to say, we forgot our bottle at home, and we’re very happy we did, because the flavours were so delicate and well balanced, we genuinely felt drinking wine with it may have decreased our enjoyment. Whether or not the menu was designed to keep that in mind, it was a pleasure to experience, and a gastronomical experience we will all remember.

What a fantastic dining experience! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Explaining everything in english for me and made great food suggestions. I was blown away by my food in particularly the homemade foccoccia bread with the maple butter, simple but delicious. All of the food had been carefully curated and was so tasty. The duck was also phenomenal and the king crab bisque, wow! It's bring your own wine which added beautifully to my night. Highly recommend!!

Food was unique.
A little weird on some of the dishes.
There was only one server to start which seemed odd as it made each table lack in attention.
Someone finally came and helped, but i feel if it was fully staffed from the beginning it would have been a better experience.

Minh (the owner) and his wife are absolutely amazing people and have a fantastic restaurant! We come here at least once every time we are in Montreal. Everything that they serve is quality, delicious food. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. Serving you authentic Vietnamese cuisine since the early 1980’s.

Very good hot platters, but the soups leave much to be desired especially for their price. The meat is very obviously frozen for the soups as it maintains an unfortunately grainy texture, and slightly undercooked and stucked noodles.
Very lovely atmosphere however.

This place is honestly disappointing. I ordered the peanut stir fry and it turned out to be slightly watered down plain peanut butter poured over pre-boiled shrimps and vegetables. In my picture I have already picked up a shrimp and saw that the shrimp below it didn't have any sauce on it at all - which would not happen if everything was cooked together. Same goes for all vegetables. My sister said the shrimps in her pad thai tasted fishy and she didn't eat them. The spring rolls were good and the staff was nice.

The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing but the reason I put 4 stars for service is because although our server was in training and it is very understandable that he may get some of the orders down wrong or he may get confused which he did. The thing that made them lose a star though, is that another server came and asked (confirmed) that what he had written down was correct but still ended up getting most of the dishes wrong. But after getting what we truly ordered we were happy with the food. I ordered a Strawberry Banana smoothie and the 1990'S Harvest which is basically french toast but instead of bread it was made with a bagel. The food was great and we all left satisfied despite the troubles we faced before receiving our food. I assume this was a one time mistake as I've been to this Cora numerous times before and I didn't face any problems so I would definitely recommend this restaurant for travelers as it isn't very expensive but isn't also the cheapest it is just what your money's worth.

Very decent place across the board. I have to say the food is exquisite, however, we were having a bit of trouble communicating with the staff. One of my american friends was trying to order and he couldn’t get his order across. It definitely was a result of lack of communication skills on both sides but in the end he got what he wanted and the waitress was very nice about it.

Really excellent service but the place and the food were just ok.
I ordered the Louis Undecided with Beyond Meat sausage. Came to CAD30. I was full but the plate was quite expensive for what I got. The potatoes tasted like a bit reheated. The beyond meat sausage was fine. The eggs were fine. The crepe with banana, strawberries, and Nutella was a bit stale and not soft and fresh. You can tell it was sitting for awhile. The multigtain bread with butter in it was the best part. It was the freshest. I could just tell that they cook ahead of time to save time by it ends of making the plate not is best.

Wonderful experience. I haven’t been out for breakfast since last year and decided to drop by after moving to Montreal. The staff was great. They had welcoming and positive vibes.
The restaurant was very clean and lots of options to chose from!
I’ve ordered the Jo Construction. The food was delicious; fresh coffee, fresh eggs,… SPOT ON! You can even enjoy breakfast on the terrace in this hot weather too. 10/10

The breakfast was great except for the potatoes, didn't like the way they were cooked , besides that it was wonderful, we had a good time to celebrate a birthday
Maybe it was just that day but someone should check out what is happening with the breakfast potatoes please, cause it is an important part of Cora breakfast!

Despite it being a super busy Friday night, we were seated quickly. Food came out fast and was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the pizza Saint Denis, ravioli bolognese, chicken Parmesan, and Caesar salad. 10/10!!
Miko Dizon-Bumann - a month ago
Came here for my first time and I really enjoyed the Montrealer pizza as it was absolutely delicious. Its great that they still have wood oven pizzas. My partner had a calzone which looked amazing. The Caesar salad was delicious.
When it came time to paying, I felt uncomfortable as the waitress stood over me staring at the pay terminal as if she wanted to see how much I would tip. This ruined the experience for me as patrons should be given a minute without the waiter staring at the client as they pay. I guess they wanted to make sure I would give a good tip. Quebec passed a law which is low in force that it's tip before tax... I hope they're not too disappointed when clients aren't tipping higher amounts. I hope I don't see the 15 percent option removed because if that's the case I will go out of the way to give 15 or what I think they deserve based on the experience.

THE BESTTTTT PIZZERIA!! I love it so much it's tastefull and savory. Both pastas and pizzas are incredible. I go there often and bring all my friends they fell in love.
Devoir douppp - 2 weeks ago
I’ve been coming here since I discovered this place back in 2016! Like they say, never change a winning team. I believe I’ve brought just about all my friends here because, honestly, I am deeply convinced that this is one of the best pizzas in town.
I’ll admit the quality dipped a little after COVID 🥲🥲 but hey, didn’t everything feel better before COVID? 😅😅
Still, whenever I’m craving a good pizza, I somehow always end up at Die Compari!
The only downside to this place is their “no reservations” policy. As it’s always packed, your wait time really depends on how lucky you are when you show up!
I’ve experienced it all, from a quick 5-minute wait to over 40 minutes on busy summer days 😅😅 So… bring a good dose of patience with you after all it is Italian restaurant so no rush !
Try it out and let me know what you think!

I stopped by as was curious to find out about this place and understood that there’s a improv play in the next 10 mins. I seemed interesting and decided to stay back( cancelled dinner plans) and must say it was fun experience! The improv artists were amazing with great acting( improv) ..I got to meet some artists( who do this part time/ hobby) and very humble and talented bunch of people.. Cafe was nice too with good options and some great cocktails too..

They genuinely make great, high quality, healthy soup. Local ingredients, etc. They rotate their menu, bring back favourites. It's great. It's always a nice surprise to see what they are offering this week.
Probably the best ratio taste/health you can find on uber eats. It feels like home cooking - a rare find on a platform full of processed foods. As long as they keep it to simple, organic ingredients (as they do so well), I will stay a loyal client!
I'm a big fan and order 4 soups/week to accompany my fish/meat I make at home. Wished they sold larger frozen quantities on Uber eats at a discounted price so I can stock up for meal prepping.

Cosy and quaint restaurant with super friendly staff and a perfect place for a quiet meal. If you're dining alone, the walls are lined with books for you to pick up and read. The menu is small but interesting and fairly priced. Definitely recommend the salad bowls and make sure to add the salmon!

I dont remember a whole lot about this place, but I do remember that this red drink/spritzie juice was delicious. The carrot cake could've been a bit more moist, although the serving size was decent. Overall, the service was average.
